The Obama administration’s chief reasoning for sidestepping congressional notification in the prisoner swap for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was concern over the captive’s deteriorating health. But after a video — released by the Taliban Wednesday morning but not yet confirmed by the Pentagon — showing Bergdahl’s transfer into American custody, NBC News Chief Pentagon Correspondent Jim Miklaszewski said on Morning Joe Bergdahl appeared on film to be in fine health.

“What struck me first about this video is he appears to be in remarkably good shape, at least physically,” Miklaszewski said. “Don’t know how he is psychologically. He’s clean-shaven. He appears to be somewhat robust, had no trouble walking to the helicopter. He did appear subdued. After five years of captivity, one could only imagine.”

NBC News calling BS on Obama! When have we ever seen that before? Mik going out of his way to drive home the point.

And Susan Rice is treated with near contempt:

“But, you know, the White House over the weekend trotted out now-National Security Adviser Susan Rice one more time to the morning shows and she said the reason that the White House did not give the thirty-day notification before releasing those five GTMO detainee was because of Bergdahl’s health, that if they would have waiting another thirty days, it would have been too late,” Miklaszewski said. “Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) yesterday contested the White House claims, saying she has seen no evidence that Bergdahl’s health was failing.”

Ouch: Democrat Law Professor Says Barack Obama Is The President Nixon Always Wanted To Be – “Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley may agree with President Obama on some issues, but as he made clear to Sean Hannity Tuesday night, he is going over-the-top in abusing his executive power and throttling the very idea of governmental checks and balances. He said that in the Bowe Burgdahl case and others, the president has shown that he just ‘would not comply with federal law.’ Turley noted how this is dangerously becoming an ‘imperial presidency, an über-presidency… where the president can act unilaterally.’ And, to Turley, Obama just won’t comply with some of the limits on his authority.” Watch Segment.

Rubio: Barack Obama ‘Believes He’s Become A Monarch Or An Emperor’ And ‘Violated The Law’ – “Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio savaged President Obama for his failure to notify Congress about the release of five Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo Bay as the law requires, claiming the president ‘believes somehow he’s become a monarch or an emperor.’ … ‘The president has violated the law here,’ the Florida senator asserted. ‘The law is very clear. He must give congressional notification 30 days before any prisoner in Guantanamo is released. He failed to do that.’ ‘Apparently the only person he told was [Senate Majority Leader] Harry Reid,’ Rubio continued. ‘He didn’t even tell the chairwoman of the intelligence committee, a Democrat, Diane Feinstein.'” Watch Segment.

Oy Vey: Democrat Dianne Feinstein: Obama Broke The Law With Bergdahl Swap – “The firestorm surrounding the Obama administration’s decisions to allow five high level Taliban members to go free in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl without the consent of Congress continues to rage on Capitol Hill. As the details of what many see as a bad deal continue to emerge, with many of Bergdahl’s fellow soldiers expressing anger and outrage over him being welcomed home as a deserter, many lawmakers are questioning the legality of the swap. One of those lawmakers is Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein, who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee… ‘It comes to us with some surprise and dismay that the transfers went ahead with no consultation, totally not following law,’ Feinstein told reporters following a closed door meeting.” Read more.

Ireland: Church That Exposed True Nature Of Islam Receives Sinister Package, “You Will Reap What You Sow”

Qur’an Sura 33:57, 61, “Lo! those who malign Allah and His messenger, Allah hath cursed them in this world and the Hereafter, and hath prepared for them the doom of the disdained … Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter.”

Yet again, when you aren’t terrorizing infidels with blades, bombs and bullets, terrorize with bad behavior instead. For peaceful purposes …

By Rebecca Black, The Belfast Telegraph – “A suspect letter triggered a security alert at the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle, the Belfast Telegraph can reveal.

The bulky package aroused suspicion when it arrived at the north Belfast church yesterday.

It has been at the centre of a storm over a controversial sermon during which Pastor James McConnell slammed Islam as ‘Satanic’ and a religion ‘spawned in Hell’.

Police were called the church yesterday afternoon.

It is understood the package did not contain anything explosive but rather a sinister message.

That included a black rose, a joker card from a pack of cards as well as a message which read, ‘you will reap what you sow’.

This incident follows a hacking attack on the church website last week.

In a statement the church said a group called Izzah Hackers, whom it claimed were Islamic hackers, took down their website.

It particularly affected webstreams of services on the site. The church said it put into place a number of pieces of technology to deal with the disruption.” Source – The Belfast Telegraph.

Scotland: Muslim Man Burns Ex-Wife To Death For Being Too “Westernized”

Or burn them, apparently …

By Dave Finlay, The Scotsman – “A MAN has been found guilty of burning his ‘westernised’ ex-wife to death, after setting fire to her following a bitter divorce.

Ahdeih Khayatzadeh, 46, suffered 95 per cent burns in the attack by Ahmad Yazdanparast at the Venus Hair & Beauty salon in the centre of Stirling last October.

The two-week trial at the High Court in Edinburgh heard that 61-year-old Yazdanparast used petrol to set fire to the mother-of-three. He will be sentenced at a later date.

Detective Inspector Bryan Burns said last night: ‘The horrific nature and consequences of this crime has had an immeasurable impact on Ahdeih’s family and I would like to praise their strength, courage and support.

‘I would also like to thank those members of the community in Stirling who helped at the scene of this tragic incident and those who came forward after our appeal for witnesses.

‘The many people who responded so promptly and positively did much to assist the investigation.

‘Our thoughts remain with Ahdeih’s family during this difficult time.’

Earlier, the judge, Lady Wise, told Yazdanparast that he had been convicted of the murder of his wife in ‘a horrific attack’.

She said only one sentence could be imposed – life in prison…

Advocate depute Tim Niven-Smith told jurors: ‘He wasn’t being listened to, he wasn’t being obeyed.

‘He lost control of his wife and he murdered her.’

Yazdanparast, who told his trial that he was ‘a British Muslim’, said that in Iran the man was superior to the woman and had authority over her, but his wife was superior to him.

He said she was not listening or co-operating and was becoming ‘westernised’.” Read more.
