By John Rossomando, IPT – “A Twitter post Thursday by supporters of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now calling itself the Islamic State (IS), has promised a Holocaust against the Jews.

‘The Real Zionist Holocaust is Predicted in the Hadiths! The Hour [resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, and the tree will say: ‘Oh, Muslim, servant of God, there is a Jew behind me, kill him! THE PROMISED Holocaust,’ the terrorist group’s Islamic State Media a graphic posted on its @ISIS_Conquests’s Twitter account said.

This hadith has proven popular with Islamic extremists of all stripes, ranging from IS to Hamas – and even on television in the Middle East.

Daniel Pipes, an expert on jihadism, said the hadith likely was a recruitment tool.

‘​Yes, ​calling for a holocaust against Jews refers to a violently anti-Semitic strain among jihadis and will surely appeal to some of them,’ Pipes said in an email to the Investigative Project on Terrorism.

Anti-Semitic propaganda has played an important role in the terrorist group’s recruitment effort. Its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, placed Jews on the side of evil in a speech posted Tuesday on the Internet in which he called on Muslims to join him.

‘O ummah of Islam, the world today has been divided into two camps and two trenches … The camp of Islam and faith, and the camp of kufr (disbelief) and hypocrisy … all being led by America and Russia, and being mobilized by the Jews,’ al-Baghdadi said.

In another such video released on Twitter, IS told jihadists to ‘Break the crosses and destroy the lin­eage of the grand­sons of mon­keys.’

Some jihadist supporters are calling on the group to open a new front against Israel.” Read more.

By Ari Soffer, INN – “For at least the third time in recent months, Arab residents of Beit Umar have flown a Nazi flag over the village facing the main highway, angering Jewish residents.

The choice of timing is all the more appalling, coming less than a week after the bodies of three Israeli teens were discovered in Hevron.

Beit Umar itself is located between Hevron and Jewish town of Alon Shvut in the Gush Etzion region – it was outside Alon Shvut that the boys were abducted by their killers as they were on their way home. It lies just north of the Arab village of Halhoul, where the murdered teens’ bodies were discovered last Tuesday by security forces.

The video was filmed on Sunday, and the flag appears to have been flown to coincide with countrywide riots by Arab extremists over the murder of Arab teen Mohammed Abu-Khder, who was killed in a suspected ‘revenge attack’ for the murder of Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Sha’ar and Naftali Frenkel.

The riots began in Jerusalem, where police and local Jewish residents were targeted with violence by Arabs, and has since spread to other parts of the country. The violence peaked over the weekend, after Abu-Khder’s burial on Friday, and has since abated slightly, with officials vowing tough measures against Israeli Arabs who participate in the violence.” Read more.

Ezekiel 38 is to Bible prophecy what Christ is to Christianity. Without it’s conditions satisfied, the end cannot be near.  Ezekiel 38 prophesies of a “Gog” (interpreted by yours truly to be Russia) who will lead an alliance of nations/groups (which includes Iran, Ezekiel 38:5-6 NASB) to attack Israel in the end-times. Some interpreters (myself included) see Israel as initially overrun; but in the end, Gog is “turned around” (Ezekiel 38:4) and ultimately defeated, along with his alliance. Gog and his alliance are destroyed by God through a great earthquake (Ezekiel 38:19-20) which leads to Gog and his forces turning their swords against one another. Ezekiel 38:21-22.

For most students of Bible prophecy, the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 in the modern-day seems imminent — even without the recent declaration by Sunni Salafi-jihadist al-Bagdadi of his establishment of the Islamic caliphate. (Not since 1924 has Islam been united under one leader (“caliph” or “sultan”) and one Muslim community. In 1924, Kemal Ataturk, president of Turkey and the sultan of the languishing Ottoman Empire renounced the sultanate and disbanded the Islamic empire in favor of a secular state. (Read more.) One example of the imminence of the tribulation is recent international pressure placed upon Israel to negotiate with the Palestinians in the formation of a two-state solution. At times in the peace process, it appeared as if the entire world was aligned against the Israelis, a condition bringing to mind several end-time prophecies about Israel: Zechariah 14:2; Zechariah 13:8-9; Revelation 11:2.

‘Free Sunnis of Baalbek Brigade Vows to Silence Church Bells in Bekaa,’ Naharnet, July 2, 2014 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

The vague group known as the Free Sunnis of Baalbek Brigade vowed to task gunmen to attack churches in Lebanon and in the eastern Bekaa valley in particular.

The Brigade announced on its twitter account that a “specialized group of free jihadists were tasked with cleansing the Islamic state of Bekaa in particular and in Lebanon in general from the churches.”

“We will target crusaders in the state and in Lebanon to silence the ringing of the bells,” the group said.

The Brigade recently pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, previously known as the Islamic State of the Iraq and the Levant.

The Islamic State declared over the weekend the establishment of the “Islamic caliphate” led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, ordering ordered Muslims worldwide to pledge allegiance to their chief, in a spectacular bid to extend their authority.

A “caliphate” is an Islamic form of government last seen under the Ottoman Empire.

The mysterious Free Sunnis of Baalbek Brigade had in the past claimed that it is an affiliate of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, but the ISIL later denied that.

On March 16, the Brigade engaged in a war of words with the al-Nusra Front in Lebanon, believed to be a local franchise of the Syria-based, Qaida-linked al-Nusra Front.

The dispute erupted after both groups claimed responsibility on Twitter for a deadly suicide bombing that rocked the Bekaa town of al-Nabi Othman.

The Brigade has claimed responsibility for several rocket and bomb attacks inside Lebanon, the last of which were the suicide blasts in Dahr al-Baydar and Raouche’s Duroy Hotel.

Warning: Reading Is … “Islamophobic”

Proverbs 8:7, “For my mouth will speak truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips.”

Muslim apologists believe that they have the right to discuss and denounce the teachings of Christianity (teachings which, by the way, even the “prophet” of Islam himself couldn’t correctly define), but when we discuss the teachings of Islam they suddenly claim that we, as non-Muslims, have absolutely no right to criticize the “holy” Qur’an. But if Muslim apologists can criticize Christianity because of what the Qur’an teaches, then we can certainly criticize Islam in light of those very same teachings. If God has given us an ear to hear, then we listen. And if we’ve been given a sound mind to reason then we are obliged to speak the truth, even when those who are perishing refuse to believe it …

Joel Richardson: What The New Caliphate Means For The World Is “Absolutely Profound”

“Another significant reality now that the caliphate has been restored is that it is actually mandatory for the caliphate to engage in perpetual jihad until there are literally no non-Muslims left throughout the world, or they submit to being subjected peoples.” Sounds a little like something that a man named John once described about 2,000 year ago. Are we witnessing before our very eyes the fulfillment of the second Beast that will ultimately be destroyed forever by the Lord Himself as prophesied by Daniel? It certainly looks that way today. As such, “let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober” …

Revelation 13:15-18, “The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate [‘psēphizō’ – reckon] the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is χξς.”

‘[T]he truth of the matter is that for all the challenges we face, all the problems that we have, if you had to be – if you had to choose any moment to be born in human history, not knowing what your position was going to be, who you were going to be, you’d choose this time. The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed then it’s ever been. It is more educated than it’s ever been.’

On Sunday afternoon, my Twitter account lit up, as the various radical Muslims I follow erupted with jubilant declarations that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, or ISIS) had officially declared a caliphate – an Islamic state ruled by Islamic Shariah. No longer is it ISIS, but simply the Islamic State (IS). After an official meeting of ISIS’ shura (religious) council, they named their shadowy leader, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, to be the Emir al-Mu’minin, or the commander of the faithful – the first ‘caliph’ in roughly 90 years. The caliph is essentially a Muslim pope, president and general all rolled into one.

The potential implications for the world are absolutely profound. First, according to Islamic jurisprudence, once a caliph has been declared, it is mandatory upon all Muslims to make a pledge of allegiance to the sitting caliph, known in Arabic as the bay’ah. The bay’ah translated is as follows:

‘I pledge my allegiance to the Commander of the Faithful, to hear and obey, in hardship and in blessings, to establish the religion of Allah, and to enforce Allah’s Shariah, and to expand the order of Allah, to establish the global Islamic state.’

According to various hadith (Muslim sacred traditions found outside of the Quran), if one does not make the pledge, he will die the death of jahiliyya, or as a non-Muslim, and should be treated as a non-Muslim:

‘[W]hen he stands before Allah on the Day of Judgment, and one who dies without having bound himself by an oath of allegiance (to an Amir) will die the death of one belonging to the days of Jahillyya.’ (Abu Muslim 20: 4562)

Already, there have been numerous tribal leaders and jihadi groups that have pledged their allegiance to the caliph with their lives. What groups will follow? What might it look like if various groups such as Boko Haram in Nigeria, al-Shabab in Somalia and Kenya, al-Qaida in Yemen, al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank, and perhaps even segments of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and throughout the world begin swearing allegiance to the caliph? The dangers of a snowballing trend is profound. Rather than having an Islamic State spanning segments of Syria and Iraq, there could be smaller segments of the Islamic State in numerous other nations.

Consider the fact that even here in the United States, Mohamed Elibiary, one of three senior fellows on President Obama’s Homeland Security Advisory Council, is an open supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, the goal of which is the re-establishment of the caliphate.” Read more.

Self-Declared ‘Caliph’ Wants To Rule World And ‘No One In Iraq Or Any Neighboring Country Will Be Safe From These Plans’ – “Based on recent battlefield victories in Iraq and Syria, the Iraqi militant and his followers believe that the world’s Muslims are going to flock to their cause… [but] while many kings and rulers styled themselves as caliphs, they didn’t have the religious authority that implied… Time will tell if Baghdadi’s grab for power will allow him to hold on to a piece of Iraq and Syria… The Ottoman Sultan declared himself a caliph in 1880, partly in the hopes that Indian Muslims would turn on the colonial British administration there. It didn’t work … The Taliban’s Mullah Omar tried the caliph gambit too. In 1996, shortly after after conquering Kandahar and on the verge of controlling Afghanistan, he wrapped himself in a cloak purported to have been worn by the prophet Mohamed and declared himself the leader of the world’s Muslims. Caliphate Leader To The Muslim World: “Terrify The Enemies Of Allah And Seek Death”

And this call will, in the minds of many who eventually pledge allegiance to this Caliph or any other major Islamic leader, not be incumbent upon only those Muslims living in lands already conquered by Islam. It will also be considered a binding decree upon many Muslims who are today living amongst us …

Qur’an Sura 8:59a, “The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them …”

Al Arabiya News – “The leader of the al-Qaeda offshoot now calling itself the Islamic State called on Muslims with military, medical and managerial skills to flock to its newly-declared pan-Islamic state, in an audio recording released Tuesday.

‘Those who can immigrate to the Islamic State should immigrate, as immigration to the house of Islam is a duty,’ said Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The newly named ‘caliph’ said the appeal especially applied to ‘judges and those who have military and managerial and service skills, and doctors and engineers in all fields.’

Baghdadi also addressed the group’s fighters, saying that ‘your brothers in all the world are waiting’ to be rescued by them.

‘Terrify the enemies of Allah and seek death in the places where you expect to find it,’ he said. ‘Your brothers, on every piece of this earth, are waiting for you to rescue them.’

The audio message, titled ‘A Message to the Mujahideen and the Muslim Ummah in the Month of Ramadan,’ was posted online through the group’s media arm. Another account affiliated to the group posted translations in English, Russian, French, German and Albanian.

‘By Allah, we will take revenge, by Allah we will take revenge, even if after a while,’ Baghdadi said. ‘Fighters should ’embrace the chance and champion Allah’s religion through jihad,’ he added.

He called on Muslims to immigrate to the self-styled caliphate, saying it was their duty. In a direct, confident message, he urged them to ‘listen, realize and stand and free yourself from the shackles of weakness, and stand in the face of tyranny.’

‘Let the world know that we are living today in a new era. Whoever was heedless must now be alert. Whoever was sleeping must now awaken. Whoever was shocked and amazed must comprehend. The Muslims today have a loud, thundering statement, and possess heavy boots,’ said Baghdadi, according to the posted translation.

‘They have a statement that will cause the world to hear and understand the meaning of terrorism, and boots that will trample the idol of nationalism, destroy the idol of democracy and uncover its deviant nature.’

It was his first purported message since the group – previously known as the Islamic State in Iraq and the Syria (ISIS) – proclaimed the caliphate on Sunday and declared him its leader, in an audacious bid to sweep away state borders and redraw the map of the Middle East.

The militant group, which operates in both Iraq and Syria, said their caliphate would spread from Aleppo in northern Syria to Diyala in eastern Iraq, and ordered Muslims in those areas to ‘obey’ and pledge allegiance to their new leader.” Read more.

Colorado: Young Woman Converts To Islam, Develops Newfound Hatred Of Christians And Desire To Kill For “Allah”

By Alan Gathright, ABC 7News Denver – “The FBI says a 19-year-old Colorado woman has been arrested while trying to board a flight at Denver International Airport with the goal of meeting with a terrorist group called the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, also known as ISIS.

A federal criminal complaint states that between Sept. 7, 2013 and April 8, 2014, Shannon Maureen Conley, together with others, tried to provide material support and resources, including personnel and expert advice, to a foreign terrorist organization.

ISIS insurgents have been fighting to topple the governments of Iraq and Syria.

Authorities began investigating Conley on Nov. 5, 2013, when the pastor at Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada called local police and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to report a teen had been spotted suspiciously taking notes at the church’s main campus at 6120 Ward Road on several Sundays at October, according to a federal affidavit supporting the criminal complaint.

Church officials have a heightened awareness about security because Faith Bible Chapel was the scene of a shooting in December 2007 when a man named Matthew Murray opened fire at the church’s Youth with a Mission Training Center, killing two missionaries. A few hours later, Murray went on a shooting spree at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, killing two more people. He was shot by a church security guard and eventually took his own life.

So Faith Bible Chapel staff reacted quickly when they believed Conley was taking notes on various locations and the layout of the campus, the affidavit said.

Church staff approached Conley and asked to see her notes, but she refused.

Conley then became confrontational with FBC staff, citing her own Islamic religious views, church officials told federal investigators…

Conley said, ‘I hate those people.’ …

Conley told the investigators she does not like Israel or FBC’s active and vocal support for Israel.

Conley said she noticed she was being followed by church staff on the campus and felt they treated her like a terrorist. Conley told the investigators that she reasoned that, ‘If they think I’m a terrorist, I’ll give them something to think I am,’ according to the affidavit.

She started keeping a notebook and acted like she was diagramming the church to alarm them. Conley soon got into an argument with the pastor and was asked to leave.

Conley said that Jihad to her is war against ‘kafir’ (which the affidavit describes as a derogatory Arabic term for non-Muslims) to protect Muslim lands.” Read more.

Intelligence Agency Warns: Islamist Groups Have Become A Decentralized And Elusive “Swarm”

Like a decentralized and elusive swarm that is out to devour everything in its path such as, oh, say a swarm of locusts, perhaps? In the 12th Century an Islamic scholar named Abul Ala Mawdudi wrote a book describing the spiritual homestead of Islam — modern day Saudi Arabia — as the “Abyss of Darkness” to introduce non-Arab readers to Islam. Incidentally, the “locusts” of Revelation 9 are themselves described by John as coming out of the darkness of the Abyss …

Revelation 9:2-3, 11, “When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth… They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).”

By Thomas Escritt, Reuters – “Radical Islamist groups in the Netherlands have become a decentralized and elusive ‘swarm’ that may broaden their focus from the conflict in Syria to the wider Middle East, the Dutch intelligence service warned on Monday.

Its report reflects widespread concern in Europe at the threat posed by European citizens – mainly from Islamic immigrant milieus – leaving to fight in Middle East conflicts, then returning battle-hardened and posing security threats.

Dutch authorities estimate that 120 Dutch citizens have fought in Syria’s civil war, with 14 having died in combat, and that there are hundreds of jihadi militants in the country eyeing missions abroad, with thousands more sympathizers.

The Dutch General Intelligence and Security Agency (AIVD) said in its latest assessment of the threat posed by underground jihadi groups that they were stronger and more self-confident.

It said such militants continued to pose a ‘substantial’ threat to the Netherlands, one notch below the highest alert.

Most of the potential fighters were of Moroccan background although some were native Dutch converts to Islam.

The agency said the phenomenon was becoming ever harder to track as social media made it possible for increasingly ‘professionalised’ radical movements to coordinate themselves without the need for a centralised authority.

‘The movement has taken on the character of a swarm,’ the agency said. ‘There is a less hierarchical structure than at the turn of the millennium, which makes it more flexible, effective and less vulnerable to ‘attack’ from outside.’

European governments have struggled to stop their nationals, some just teenagers, from traveling to Syria where the conflict, which began as peaceful protests against President Bashar al-Assad and evolved into an armed rebellion is now in its fourth year. More than 160,000 people have been killed.

By Joe David, INN – “Call the enemy what you like – radicals, fundamentalists, Islamic terrorists, jihadists, or, historically, just plain Muslims. Connect the dots to their past activities, and you will uncover a disturbing pattern: a fanatical commitment to eliminating infidels.

Some of you may recall the American Embassy bombings (in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and in Nairobi, Kenya), and the brutal killings of innocent Westerners (Wall Street Journal Reporter Daniel Pearl, Businessman Nick Berg, and American Helicopter Engineer Paul Johnson). For those who don’t here are a few highlights from the past you may recall, which should help connect the dots.

  • The murder of Robert Kennedy by a Palestinian national, Sirhan Sirhan (1968);
  • The eleven Israeli athletes murdered during the Munich olympic games by Palestinians (1972);
  • The Beirut barracks’ massacre led by Hezbollah that killed several hundred military members (1983);
  • The Lockerbie, Scotland, bombing of a Pan American flight by Libyan terrorists, which killed 271 victims (1988);
  • The September 11th coordinated attack of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon by al-Qaeda, which resulted in about 3,000 deaths and $10 billion in property damages (2001);
  • The shooting of 13 soldiers and the injuring of about 30 others at Fort Hood military base by a psychiatrist, shouting Allahu Akbar! (Allah is great) (2009);
  • The savage murder of the U.S. Ambassador and several others in Benghazi, Libya by jihadists (2012);
  • The Boston Marathon bombings, planned by two Chechen brothers, which killed 3 and injured 260 (2013);
  • And the kidnapping of about 230 Nigerian school girls by the Islamic terrorists, Boko Haram (2014).

History is replete with many more examples. Open your history books, the ones which haven’t been rewritten by revisionists, and this is what you will uncover:

  • In 622 AD, Mohamed, a camel driver, saw the light. It was revealed to him through the divine voice of Gabriel while he was in a religious trance, worshipping in a cave.  From 622 AD until his death in 632 AD, Mohamed followed this light and inspired others to do the same. During the subsequent wars, designed to expand Mohamed’s control in the Arabian Peninsula, he and his followers slaughtered non-believers, kidnapped women and children, and stole their land and gold.
  • After his death, his followers continued in his footsteps. Through war, they spread Islam beyond the borders of the Arabian Peninsula into India, North Africa, and even Spain.
  • In 732 AD, Charles Martel halted Muslim advances into Europe during the Battle of Tours, France. This defeat in Europe, though, didn’t end Islamic expansion; the Muslims continued to crush the infidels in other areas of the world, taking advantage of every opportunity available to them to murder and enslave.

Syrian Jihadists: “We Will Take Spain Back” For Islam

Judging from the problems Spain is already suffering because of spreading violence throughout the Islamic community, they’ll have plenty of help in taking it back …

The Local – “A top Spanish official has said country’s security forces were remaining ‘vigilant’ after two Syrian jihadists posted a video in which they promised to reclaim Spain in the name of Islam.

Interior Ministrry Secretary of State Francisco Martínez made the comments on Wednesday afternoon in the wake of news jihadists had posted the video.

‘Spain is the land of our grandfathers and we are going to take it back,’ say the two young men say in Spanish during the brief video.

Much of Spain was in Muslim hands from the eight century to the thirteenth century, but this rule was far from uniform in nature, and changed over time. Monuments including the Mezquita in Cordoba and the Alhambra Palace in Granada are a testament to the cultural richness of this period.

‘We are living under the Islamic flag and we are going to do for it (the flag) until we have reclaimed all the imprisoned lands, from Jakarta to Andalusia,’ the relaxed-looking men say .

The video appears on a site called Syriantube.net, a pro-government website which says it contains videos of Syrian army actions against rebel forces.

It was also posted on YouTube on Tuesday and has been watched just under 8,000 times.

Spanish press have described the men in the video as rebel soldiers, but it is not clearly which group or faction they belong to.” Read more.

Although this is evidently an unofficial map that was released by ISIS supporters and not by ISIS itself, we can be absolutely certain that the new “Islamic State” — indeed Islam itself — will continually seek to expand for as long, and as far, as it possibly can …

By Frances Martel, Breitbart – “The jihadists terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) — now trying to rebrand as simply the ‘Islamic State‘ — have released a new map that outlines the territory they aspire to conquer within the next five years. That territory spans from Morocco and Spain out to Sri Lanka and the border of China.

The map, which surfaced on Twitter and has begun to be distributed widely throughout social media, paints in black every territory ISIS wishes to incorporate into the newly announced caliphate, which currently only spans, according to ISIS officials, throughout Syria (‘al-Sham’) and Iraq. The Daily Mail notes that the westernmost territory of the map, labeled ‘Maghreb,’ is the Western Sahara, including Mali, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and a host of other nations. In Europe, the western limits of the empire are Spain — ‘Al-Andaluz’ — a territory once controlled by Muslims in the Middle Ages. The map then incorporates almost every nation between Spain and the borders of China, as well as ‘Greece, Romania and Bulgaria – extending its territories in eastern Europe as far as Austria, which appears to be based on a pre-First World War borders of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.’

Since the map is not labeled using the political distinctions recognized by the rest of the world, it is unclear whether ISIS includes parts of China in their caliphate. Western China is home to millions of Muslims, many of the Uyghur ethnic minority. Uyghur separatists have been blamed for a recent string of terror attacks in Xinjiang, in the westernmost limits of the nation.

ABC News notes that the map began to surface on social media as ISIS made strides in conquering cities in Iraq, and was most widely disseminated as the terrorist group formalized the announcement of the caliphate under their leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The map is part of a larger propaganda effort meant in equal measure to attract Western Muslims to the cause of jihad and scare Iraqi and Syrian soldiers out of fighting against them.” Read more.

The tweets stated that the head of the ISIS, Al-Baghdadi intends to destroy the Ka’ba, the holiest shrine to Islam: ‘#The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
