70 Christians Taken To Church For Mass Beheading – “Seventy Christians have been found beheaded in a church in the Democratic Republic of Congo … at around 4am last Thursday (13 February) suspected militants from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) – a group with ties to so-called Islamic State (IS) – approached homes in Mayba in the territory of Lubero, saying: ‘Get out, get out and don’t make any noise.’ Twenty Christian men and women came out and were captured… ADF militants surrounded the village and captured a further 50 believers… Many Christians have now fled the area for their safety… ‘This was not just an act of terror. It was a targeted massacre of Christians, and it will not stop here,’ says Illia Djadi, Senior Analyst for Freedom of Religion or Belief in sub-Saharan Africa for Open Doors. ”The ADF is part of a growing extremist network that wants to wipe out Christianity in the region. If nothing is done, more attacks will follow.'” Read more.

Ignored And Forgotten: The Unspoken Genocide Of Christians In Africa – “The brutality being inflicted on Christians across Africa and the Middle East is beyond comprehension — and yet, the silence from the international community is not just passive; it is complicit, shameful, and unforgivable. In Nigeria alone, more than 62,000 Christians have been mercilessly slaughtered in the past decades by groups like Boko Haram and ISWAP. Entire villages are wiped off the map, churches turned to ash, and families left broken and buried… 70 Christians beheaded in a church in the DRC is the latest horrifying reminder of the escalating violence… But this act of savagery was preceded by another shocking wave of killings: another report, at least 89 Christians were slaughtered by the Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP) in north-eastern DRC, including the brutal massacre of 28 people in just one day on 2 February … In a horrifying incident in March 2024, extremist groups in northern Nigeria kidnapped approximately 687 people, including women and children. This mass kidnapping underscores the escalating threat to Christian communities in the region … In the first half of 2024, the Islamic State (ISIS) intensified its persecution of African Christians, resulting in the deaths of 698 individuals across the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mozambique, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Mali.” Read more.

Sudan’s RSF Kills Hundreds of Civilians, Announces Parallel Government – “In what may be its largest act of violence since 2023, Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces militia is reported to have murdered 433 people, including infants, in the southeast Sudanese state of White Nile… Even as news of the attacks spread in the news and on local social media channels, key RSF leadership gathered in nearby Nairobi, Kenya, for a lavish event announcing the formation of a nascent breakaway government designed to challenge the authority of its main rival, the Sudanese Armed Forces. The current conflict, born out of fighting between the Sudanese military and the RSF, has led to one the largest humanitarian crises in the world since igniting in 2023… According to reports, 165 churches have had to close since the war started in 2023. Some churches are used as bases for military operations in the war, with people sheltering there forced out or even killed to make way for soldiers. Members of the clergy have been targeted, with soldiers shooting or stabbing priests and others during their raids. The well-equipped SAF often bombs churches, indiscriminately injuring or killing those sheltering inside, including women and children.” Read more.

Morocco Foils Attacks By Cell Loyal To Islamic State – “Morocco’s counterterrorism agency said on Monday it had foiled attacks against national and international targets in the country by a 12-member cell loyal to Islamic State in the Sahel. The operation underscores the threat emanating from jihadist militancy in the Sahel, as groups linked to Islamic State and al Qaeda expand activity in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. The suspects, arrested in nine different cities, had been receiving orders from a Libyan leader of Islamic State … The suspects, aged 18 to 40, have been radicalised online, Cherkaoui said, adding that most of them had ‘occasional jobs’. The group, which branded itself ‘the Lions of the Caliphate in the Maghreb Al Aqsa (Morocco)’, was planning remotely controlled bomb attacks, he said.” Read more.

Jihadists Intensify Attacks In West African Sahel – “The Sahel is grappling with unprecedented violence, as Al-Qaeda and Islamic State-linked jihadist groups intensify their attacks on civilians and military forces across Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, and Chad. The region witnessed a surge in terrorist attacks in 2024 with a monthly average of 4.4 attacks, up from 3.9 in 2023, according to the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data (ACLED) institution. Jihadist attacks have left a trail of devastation across West Africa, particularly in Mali, Benin, Chad, and Nigeria. The atrocities committed by these groups are staggering. In September 2024, Al-Qaeda militants killed up to 100 people at an international airport complex in Bamako, Mali. The same month, around 600 civilians were machine-gunned in a few hours in Barsalgho, Burkina Faso. A disturbing video from Mali circulated on social media in July 2024, showing a man in a military uniform mutilating a corpse. These incidents underscore the brutality and impunity in this war.” Read more.

Trump And Netanyahu BOTH Issue Ultimatum To Hamas: Release All Hostages By Saturday Afternoon, OR ELSE …

US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, calls Hamas “pure evil” that must be destroyed. US Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, supports “Israel killing every last member of Hamas.” Both US President Donald Trump and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu recognize the absolute need to completely destroy Hamas and remove its scourge from Gaza forever. Even in Hamas’ weakened state, however, many challenges remain. Even if the terrorist organization ceases to function in any real capacity as a governing body, the demonic ideology ingrained within the very fiber of Islamism runs far deeper than any Gazan tunnel bored by Hamas. Be that as it may, it looks like Israel may once again be sharpening the Swords of Iron

The Jerusalem Post – “If Hamas does not release the hostages by Saturday at noon, the hostage-ceasefire deal will end, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday.

Netanyahu detailed Israel’s next steps following the conclusion of the political and security cabinet meeting, which convened Tuesday early afternoon to discuss Hamas’s suspension of the hostages’ release.

‘If Hamas does not return our hostages by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will resume intense fighting until Hamas is decisively defeated,’ Netanyahu said, adding the decision had been reached unanimously by cabinet members…

‘In light of Hamas’s announcement of its decision to violate the agreement and not release our hostages, I instructed the IDF last night to amass forces inside and around the Gaza Strip,’ Netanyahu stated, adding, ‘This operation is underway as we speak and will be completed as soon as possible.’

Shortly after Netanyahu’s remarks, the military said additional troops, including reservists, were being deployed to the Southern Command.

Earlier on Tuesday, a source said there would be no second phase of hostage-ceasefire deal talks until all hostages are returned.” Read more.
