MidnightWatcher – Prophecy in Motion

After being pounded for weeks and suffering significant losses over the last 48 hours of Yemen’s Hodeidah Port, the Sana’a International Airport and other significant Houthi targets, the Iranian terrorist proxy is reeling. According to US President Donald Trump, the Houthis have now “capitulated” and have indicated they will no longer attack vessels in the Red Sea. Of course not. Their ability has been gradually, and significantly, degraded. In the world of religiously-fueled Islamic terror, this “capitulation” is known as a “hudna.” But let’s not be naive into conflating “capitulation” with genuine surrender. Genuine “surrender” involves the laying down of arms. A “hudna”, however, is a temporary cessation of hostilities where terrorists will use the time to acquire more. After all, under the Islamic Republic of Iran’s own doctrine — and by extension all of their terrorist proxies — surrender to the enemy is expressly forbidden and any “capitulation” will only prove to be nothing but a deceptive illusion of relative calm where a “ceasefire” is agreed upon to only then be exploited by terrorists to regroup and rearm for the next round of economic, and international, terrorism. And back to square one we will be.

Just as the Houthis are buckling under overwhelming pressure is not the time for Trump to “stop the bombing.” It is the time to increase them and bomb the Iranian proxy into oblivion. But agreeing to “stop the bombing” does not show American strength. It exposes American weakness. It exposes American naiveté. And Iran sees it.

Degradation is nowhere near enough. The Houthis need to be not just degraded, but destroyed, as does the Iranian leadership and the IRGC. Israel gets it, but America? Not so much. We shouldn’t be surprised, however. If Bible prophecy is any indication, the beast will not be destroyed while he is wounded. Its destruction will not happen at the hand of man, but at the hand of the Son of Man …

Trump: ‘Houthis Capitulated, We’ll Stop Bombing Them’ – “US President Donald Trump said today (Tuesday) that the Houthi rebel group has communicated that it will stop attacking commercial shipping following the attacks by the US and Israel in recent days and that the US would cease its attacks on Houthi targets as well.

‘The Houthis have announced they don’t want to fight anymore. They just don’t want to fight, and we will honor that, and we will stop the bombings. They have capitulated. But more importantly, we will take their word. They say they will not be blowing up ships anymore,’ Trump stated during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at the White House.
