Sudan: Islamist-Led Sudanese Armed Forces Says It Will Make Drones & Rockets To Strike Israel, “We Want One Battle With One Enemy For The Sake Of The Ummah”
And, “Allah willing” they “will go [to] Gaza.” Turkey’s dream of a united Islamist coalition against Israel is slowly, but surely, coming into focus. Here is a quick update to yesterday’s post regarding the recent reports of Christian persecution and chaos across Africa, specifically Sudan. The extermination of Christians and other non-Arab civilians by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) is so wide-spread in Sudan that a blood-stained earth is now visible from space.
Meanwhile, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) — led by the same Islamist Muslim Brotherhood that created Hamas in Gaza — has publicly declared they will be “making” weapons to strike Israel. Where is the material required to produce such weapons coming from? From Iran? From a friendly neighbor to the north, perhaps? Turkey’s Erdogan has already stated recently that the relationship between Turkey and Sudan is “developing with each passing day, and the solidarity between the two countries will continue to grow stronger.” In what way? First and foremost, ideologically. It is, therefore, no surprise to now hear the SAF parroting similar anti-Israel rhetoric. Nigeria: Over 100 Christians Killed, 120 Abducted By Jihadists – “The report that Intersociety Founder and Leader, Emeka Umeagbalasi, shared with ACI Africa on Sunday, October 26 raises an alarm about ‘continuation, intensification, unchecked, untamed, widespread, coordinated and systematic attacks by Islamic Jihadists and their enablers, aiders and abettors against defenseless Christians in Nigeria.’ Of the 120 Christians abducted, at least 12 ‘are likely not coming back alive from the hands of their jihadist captors’ … Researchers at Intersociety base their assumption that a percentage of those abducted may never come back alive on an existing trend by the jihadists to kill their captives. ‘A clear case in point is the over 1,000 abducted Christian hostages held inside Rijana Forest camps in Kaduna State, out of which estimated 120 or more than 10 percent are likely to have been killed in captivity,’ the researchers say.” Read more.

Mozambique: 20 Christians Killed As Jihadist Violence Intensifies – “A new wave of jihadist attacks in northern Mozambique has left at least 20 Christians dead and thousands displaced, as militants linked to the Islamic State continue to target Christian communities, churches and homes. The coordinated strikes, attributed to Ahlu Sunnah wa Jama’ah (known locally as al-Shabaab), devastated the Christian-majority community of Napala village in Chiúre District, part of the conflict-ridden Cabo Delgado Province. The violence, which erupted earlier this month, left 1,300 homes and two churches burned to the ground, forcing around 2,000 people to flee… Among those killed were four elderly Christian women who were tied up and set on fire inside a house, according to witnesses… The attacks came as the so-called Islamic State (IS) operatives issued a chilling statement targeting Christians in Africa.” Read more.

Ethiopia: The Killing Of Christians In Arsi Continues Without Interruption – “Reports from local residents and church leaders indicate that a new wave of violence against members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church has continued in parts of Arsi Zone and neighboring districts. Witnesses say that several Christians have been killed because of their faith and that homes and churches were attacked in recent weeks. According to clergy and community representatives, no official investigation or government statement has yet been released… the deaths are rarely covered by national media and that local authorities have provided no information to the public. Community sources claim that faith-based killings in the Arsi region have been occurring for several years without accountability. Religious leaders describe a pattern in which incidents are quietly dismissed or downplayed… Faith leaders from several denominations have now called for a joint delegation to visit the affected areas and verify the extent of the killings.” Read more.

Niger: US Missionary Abducted By Suspected Jihadists, ‘Pray For His Protection’ – “An American missionary who was abducted in the West African nation of Niger by suspected jihadists is still missing. Kevin Rideout was taken from his home in Niger’s capital in the middle of the night last week in a Toyota Corolla by three armed suspected jihadists, according to several reports. Rideout is a pilot for the evangelical missionary agency Serving in Mission. He was taken hostage from the capital city of Niamey, less than 100 yards from the presidential palace. Rideout’s cell phone last placed him in an area considered to be “a sanctuary for groups affiliated with the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara,” but that was six days ago… Christian persecution has increased in Niger since 2023… evangelical leaders are asking believers to “pray without ceasing” for Rideout.” Read more.

Sudan: More Than 2,000 Executed After 48 Hours Of ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ Against Non-Arabs – “The western Sudanese city fell to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) after more than 18 months of brutal siege warfare, giving the group control over every state capital in the vast Darfur region. Allies of the army, the Joint Forces, said on Tuesday that the RSF ‘committed heinous crimes against innocent civilians in El-Fasher, where more than 2,000 unarmed citizens were executed and killed on October 26 and 27, most of them women, children and the elderly’. Rome Reports – “According to a report by Aid to the Church in Need, jihadist terrorism is increasing on an unprecedented scale and is one of the main reasons for the persecution and death of Christians around the world. Its growth in the Sahel region is cause for concern where local authorities have lost power to fundamentalists in recent years. On the other hand, radicals are also on the rise in places such as Pakistan, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their main victims are other Muslims and minorities including many Christians. And the West is not immune to these attacks either. According to the report, in 2023, France recorded nearly a thousand attacks on churches and Greece more than 600 acts of vandalism in places of worship. And the situation is getting worse. The report claims that more than 5.4 billion people live in countries where serious religious freedom violations take place. Aid to the Church in Need publishes a report annually in which it analyzes the situation in 196 countries and concludes that serious violations of religious freedom are committed in 62 of them.”

On October 13, the day of the international summit at Sharm el-Sheikh that was led by the U.S. along with Hamas’s patrons Qatar and Turkey, Al-Saghir’s article was published on the Qatari Aljazeeramubasher.net. [5] In it, he again expressed his hope that Sheikh Yassin’s prophecy that Israel will cease to exist in 2027 would be fulfilled.
His article opened by stating that Hamas had in fact won the war and achieved the goals of its ‘preemptive strike’ – that is, its October 7, 2023 terror attack – by which, he said, it had ‘stopped the destruction of Al‑Aqsa Mosque and the train of normalization’ with Israel in the region. He added that Hamas had also prevented Israel from achieving its own war objectives.
Al-Saghir compared the Gaza war to the Battle of the Trench, the one-year siege (626–627 CE) imposed by opponents of the Prophet Muhammad – the people of Mecca and allied Bedouin tribes – on the city of Medina where the Prophet was staying at the time. According to Islamic tradition, that siege ended when a great storm struck the enemy camp and they retreated.
Rejecting the claims by Hamas opponents that the October 7 attack had produced nothing, and justifying the war’s many civilian victims and massive destruction in the Gaza Strip by calling the attack a ‘turning point’ in the struggle, he said that it signaled the beginning of the actualization of Sheikh Yassin’s prophecy regarding Israel’s elimination in 2027. By Yigal Carmon, MEMRI – “At a pro-Palestine rally in Istanbul on October 28, 2023, two weeks after Hamas’ October 7 attack, in the context of discussing Israel, President Erdoğan quoted a popular song whose lyrics he has used in the past to presage Turkish military operations in Iraq and Syria, saying: ‘We may come suddenly one night.'[4] A few weeks later, on November 15, he said: ‘Oh Israel; you have an atom bomb, a nuclear bomb – and you are threatening [others] with it. We know this. And now the moment of your death is coming. Have as many nuclear bombs as you want. Have whatever you want. You’re a goner.'[5] On July 28, 2024, referring to Turkish military operations in other countries, President Erdoğan said: ‘Just as we entered [Nagorno] Karabakh, and just as we entered Libya, we will do something similar to [Israel]. There is no [reason] not to.'[6]
… On December 30, 2024, in the weeks following the takeover of Damascus, Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, leader of the Ülkü Ocakları (‘Idealist Hearths’) also known as the Bozkurtlar (‘Grey Wolves’), an organization that has for years supported the Turkish military on the battlefields of Syria and Azerbaijan,[8] said: ‘We all saw the reflection in Syria of our leader’s words ‘we may come suddenly one night.’ We all saw together in Syria what could happen in one night. And so, Turkey is no longer the old Turkey… After Damascus is stabilized and assured, inshallah, we will all see that the conquest of Jerusalem is near.'[9] …
In the meantime, Erdoğan is preparing the Turkish public with justifications for such an attack. On July 30, 2024, amid Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, he said: ‘Who can guarantee that those who today have their eye on Lebanon will not tomorrow extend their filthy hands elsewhere?'[10] On October 1, he warned that Israeli policies threaten Turkey specifically: ‘Israel’s aggression also includes Turkey.'[11] On June 18, 2025, he connected this aggressive stance to Ottoman history by saying: ‘We are following very closely Israel’s terror attacks on Iran… The victorious army of the Ottoman State had a principle: ‘If you desire peace, be prepared for war.”[12] On June 24, he said: ‘Global actors must take effective measures to end Israel’s madness.'[13] In the same month he sought to discourage other countries from supplying Israel, saying: ‘Those countries that are giving Israel arms and munitions should give up being a partner in this crime.'[14] On July 4, he said: ‘Israel’s policies threaten the tranquility and stability of our region.'[15] His government accuses Israel of genocide in Gaza,[16] has called a raid on a flotilla ‘piracy,'[17] and on August 8, Turkish Communications Minister Burhanettin Duran said: ‘The conscience of the world is strong enough to stop and defeat Israel.'[18]
Erdoğan is not content with rhetoric but is taking concrete action against Israel. Turkey was Israel’s fifth-largest supplier in 2024 until in May of that year it ended all exports to and imports from the country.[19] In August 2025, Turkey banned Israeli vessels from its ports, forbade Turkish ships from entering Israeli ports, and restricted its airspace to Israeli aircraft.[20] His government has allowed Iranian guns and money to move through Istanbul to the Houthis in Yemen.[21] It is taking steps to prepare for war with Israel: Following the 12-day war between Israel and Iran in June of this year, the Turkish intelligence agency MİT released a 58-page report that, among other things, recommends the strengthening of Turkish air defense, the further development of the country’s domestic arms industry, and the construction of shelters in major Turkish cities.[22] Based on these recommendations, planning has begun for the construction of long-term shelters in all of Turkey’s 81 provinces.[23] The country also unveiled over the summer powerful new Gazap (‘Wrath’) and Hayalet (‘Ghost’) bunker-busters that it has developed and manufactured.[24]…
Turkish media, which Erdoğan’s government tightly controls,[25] also signal the government’s increasingly hostile position toward Israel by discussing concrete military considerations. GZT.com, which describes itself as Turkey’s largest digital media brand and on whose program Erdoğan himself has appeared,[26] released on June 24, 2025, a video titled ‘Israel’s Soft Underbelly: What Regions, If Struck, Will Cause Israel To Falter?’ The video lists targets in Israel – the Urim, Tel Nof, and Netafim bases – allegedly housing the construction of the Arrow missile defense system, Unit 8200, tank and artillery munitions depots, and ‘critical elements’ like F-15s, special operations teams, and long-range drones. Last year, Israel reportedly considered exiling the assassinated Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar from Gaza to Sudan before he was ultimately killed in a drone attack.
Earlier this year, Sudanese and Israeli media reported discussions about relocating Hamas leadership to Sudan, a possibility that could gain traction following recent Israeli airstrikes on Hamas bases in Qatar.” Read more.
