Mississippi Burning: Jackson Synagogue Set On Fire And The Arson Suspect’s Rhetoric Sounds Familiar …

But it’s not what many initially think of when we hear of antisemitic attacks in today’s political climate. It’s now what can happen when an Antisemite of the Year winner, with millions of followers online, influences the minds and actions of their followers. It’s synagogue arsonist Stephen Pittman.

Rotten apples can spoil the barrel, brain rot can spoil the bunch. Putting a few dots together, it certainly appears that the antisemitic mental decomposition of Candace “F**k You Ben Shapiro“ Owens is bearing the sort of fruit that we must all work tirelessly to expose. I’m not yet aware of any direct confirmation that Pittman was a follower of Owens but the fact that, while standing before a federal court, Pittman used the same “synagogue of Satan” and “Christ is Lord” verbiage popularized recently by Owens should raise a few eyebrows. Although “Christ is Lord” (or “Christ is King”) itself is a core tenet of the Christian faith, the context in which Owens uses “synagogue of Satan” and invokes Christ is often as a retort in arguments against Jewish and pro-Israel figures online as an antisemitic “dog whistle.” And it certainly sounds like Pittman is parroting those very sentiments as justification for his own antisemitic delinquency…

FOX News – “A suspect accused of setting fire to a Mississippi synagogue once bombed by the Ku Klux Klan admitted he targeted the building because it is a Jewish house of worship and was turned into police after a laughing confession to his father, the FBI said Monday.

Stephen Pittman, 19, was charged in federal court with maliciously damaging or destroying a building by fire or explosive in connection with the weekend arson at Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson.

According to an FBI affidavit, Pittman admitted to lighting the fire inside the synagogue, referring to it as ‘the synagogue of Satan.’ Authorities said Pittman’s father contacted the FBI after he observed burns on Pittman’s ankles, hands and face, and hearing his son confess to setting the building on fire.

‘Pittman laughed as he told his father what he did and said he finally got them,’ the FBI said in the document, according to WLBT-TV.

Pittman made his first appearance Monday in U.S. District Court via video from a hospital bed, where both of his hands were visibly bandaged. A public defender was appointed to represent him.

Prosecutors said Pittman faces five to 20 years in prison if convicted. When the judge advised him of his rights, Pittman responded, ‘Jesus Christ is Lord.’

Pittman told the judge he is a high school graduate who completed three semesters of college. He is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 20 for a preliminary and detention hearing.

The fire broke out shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday. No congregants or firefighters were injured, but the blaze caused extensive damage to the synagogue’s library and administrative offices.

Security footage released by the congregation shows a masked, hooded individual pouring liquid from a gas can onto the floor and a couch inside the building’s lobby. Investigators said Pittman stopped at a gas station beforehand to buy gasoline and removed his vehicle’s license plate. He allegedly used an ax to break a window, poured fuel inside the synagogue and ignited it …” Read more.

Successful real estate developers are often visionary, prescient thinkers who are able to instinctively recognize the type of people they can trust to be in partnership with. For a former real estate developer who knows how to play a good political game of 4D chess, watching US President Trump seemingly so oblivious to the foregone conclusions of partnering with an avowed enemy of the “Zionist occupiers” for Gaza’s “Board of Peace” is baffling. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan — who has long desired to be viewed as the leader of the Islamic world — is repeatedly on record threatening to invade Israel, vowing to punish Israel, calling upon the surrounding nations to unite and attack Israel and declaring that Israel’s coming destruction will be Allah’s divine punishment. Real peace with “Zionists” is not in Erdogan’s vocabulary. With so many other Islamic nations of the same mind when it comes to the future of Israel, the only peace that Erdogan and his ilk envision is one that eventually precludes any Jewish presence whatsoever from the river to the sea. It is, therefore, no surprise to see the leadership of Hamas — brothers in the same Islamist Jew-hating faith with Erdogan — reportedly now telling agencies in Gaza to prepare to “cede power” as part of Trump’s “peace” plan. By Uzay Bulut, Gatestone Institute – “After supporting the Hamas terrorist group for more than a decade, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, along with US President Donald J. Trump, now reportedly plan for Turkey to be part of the international ‘Board of Peace’ that will operate in Gaza.

‘The deployment of Turkish forces in Gaza is bad news,’ notes journalist Christine Douglass-Williams:

“Consider that Erdogan has referenced Hamas as a ‘liberation organization,’ hosted its leadership in Ankara, and granted them Turkish passports. Turkey and Qatar are well-known Muslim Brotherhood supporters. With Turkey also supporting Syrian jihadist President Ahmed al-Sharaa, as well as its increased partnership with Iran and the fact that it considers the Taliban a friend, Israel is left worse off than when Hamas managed Gaza, given the sheer power of Turkey (which is increasing)….

“The deployment of Turkish forces in Gaza and the sale of F-35s to Erdogan are not policy ideas but a method: regional management through personal deals and assurances rather than hard reality. Trump himself illustrated this approach when he dismissed the issue as if it were a neighborhood misunderstanding: Israel ‘will be fine’ and Turkey ‘won’t use them against you’. This is not policy; it is a dangerous assumption. In the Middle East, it does not work.”

Palestinian journalist Hamza Howidy warned:

“It seems that Turkey, despite its public ties to Hamas, led by Erdogan, who recently described Hamas as a ‘liberation movement,’ will be somehow part of Gaza’s ceasefire; trucks with Turkish flags were spotted today in the Gaza Strip.

“Giving Turkey a role in Gaza’s future is a strategic mistake that will sooner or later, reborn Hamas or end up with a new militia with Hamas’s goals, with another name.”

The ‘Gaza peace deal,’ brokered by Trump in September, envisions an international force that will see to it that Hamas is completely disarmed while effectively presiding over areas now controlled by the terrorist organization. This means that Trump is actually expecting that these international countries — all Hamas’s fellow Muslims, Muslim Brotherhood supporters, and dedicated opponents of Israel – will actually force Hamas to disarm and live quietly side-by-side in harmony with Israel, a state that, at some point, they all have indicated they would like to see destroyed.

In a January 5 interview with Bloomberg, Erdogan stated that the success of a so-called international stabilization force in Gaza would ‘depend on the inclusion of actors with legitimacy on the ground.’ From Erdogan’s own words, it should be easy to tell whom he regards as illegitimate. It is not the Palestinians. Erdogan added:

“You will appreciate that, in this sense, it would be difficult for any mechanism without Türkiye to gain the trust of the Palestinian people. We are in the position of a key country for such a mission due to our deep historical ties with the Palestinian side, the security and diplomacy channels we have conducted with Israel in the past [evidently very much in the past, before he began sending flotillas with weapons to attack Israel. Ed.], and our regional influence as a NATO member country. Our political will is clear; we stand ready to take on any responsibility for a lasting peace in Gaza.” [Emphasis added]

Erdogan’s regime, however, through its continuous support for Hamas, has not brought a lasting peace; it has brought lasting terrorism. Erdogan’s own words reveal his intentions…” Read more.

The sea and the waves can be unpredictable. One moment they’re relatively calm and peaceful, the next they’re the deadly product of tumultuous winds. Today, a Persian tempest against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his Islamist regime is underway as the sea and the waves roar in force once again. There are rumors of IRGC defections, Iranian elites preparing contingencies abroad and the Supreme Leader himself ready to flee to Moscow if demonstrations continue to spread. Protesters are likely hearing rumors themselves of an imminent collapse. But will the regime fall? If the regime shows too much weakness then the protests are likely to spread, not diminish. If the regime shows too much force then President Donald Trump may make good on his threat to attack the regime directly. Handling demonstrations with the “utmost restraint” and hoping it eventually peters out is, for now, the only conceivable path forward for the Islamist regime as it hangs by a delicate thread. But that can change, quickly.

In light of Bible prophecy, the question of whether the theocratic regime in Iran falls is an interesting unknown. What we know for certain from Ezekiel 38 and 39, however, is that forces from Iran will in some way, shape or form take part in the upcoming battle of Gog and Magog. The writing is already on the wall. Turkey will take the lead and be the head of the spear, but whether Iran’s participation is driven militarily by officials still in power or unofficially by a mass of Islamist mujahideen from a split and fractured Iran who remain loyal to the Ayatollah and his Islamist vision to destroy the “Zionist regime” remains to be seen. Though a majority of Iranians believe the government should abandon its call to destroy Israel, about 30% of Iran — a nation with an estimated population of 92 million — arguably supports the Ayatollah and his apocalyptic vision. That’s no small number to scoff at.

Bible prophecy is often cryptic by design and can be fulfilled in ways we don’t expect. However it plays out, Iranians and others from the nations surrounding Israel will certainly partake in the upcoming war against the Jewish state. While the sea and the waves roar today, larger clouds of chaos continue to rise on the horizon and like sharks that follow scent trails carried by the currents, the eschatological bloodlust of Islamists seeking the only guarantee of paradise in Islam — to kill Jews en masse and to die for the cause of Allah — will spur a chaotic and intense feeding frenzy as soon as they smell one hint of Jewish blood. The warning on Monday came amid intensified fighting between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), as the paramilitary force continues to push east after seizing the city of el-Fasher in Darfur in late October. New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani — an antisemite who supports boycotting Israel, accuses Israel of genocide in Gaza, refuses to say Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state and who refuses to condemn the term “globalize the intifada” — has been sworn in using an antichrist book that commands its followers to terrorize and kill anyone who disagrees with it. Let that sink in for a moment. As maggots burrow and feed on an apple’s flesh, the fruit becomes misshapen, discolored, mushy and, eventually, prematurely falls from the tree once it has reached an advanced state of rot. Ideologically, the Big Apple is now officially riddled with parasitic maggots. They’re burrowing under its skin and are feeding on its fruit.
