By Raymond Ibrahim – “Prior to Egypt’s presidential elections, Islamists made clear that the electoral process was an obligatory form of ‘holy war.’ Then, any number of Islamic clerics, including influential ones, declared that it was mandatory for Muslims to cheat during elections—if so doing would help Islamist candidates win; that the elections were a form of jihad, and those who die are ‘martyrs’ who will attain the highest levels of paradise. Top Islamic institutions and influential clerics, such as Yusuf al-Qaradawi, issued fatwas decreeing that all Muslims were ‘obligated’ to go and vote for those candidates most likely to implement Sharia law, with threats of hellfire for those failing to do so.

The point was simple: democracy, elections, voting, even the individual candidates, were all means to an end—the establishment of Sharia law. Cheat, fight, and kill during elections, as long as doing so enables Sharia; vote only for whoever will enable Sharia; avoid hell by enabling Sharia. (It is precisely for this reason that the very first demand made by Islamic leaders is that President Morsi implement the totality of Sharia law in Egypt. That is, after all, why so many voted for him.)

That many Egyptian Muslims heeded these commands to lie, cheat, steal, and kill in order to empower Sharia, there is no doubt. Story after story appeared in the Egyptian media—much of it missed in the West—demonstrating as much.

Those dealing with brutal violence speak for themselves. For example, a Muslim man ‘beat his pregnant wife to death upon learning that she had not voted for the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Muhammad Morsi.’ According to police reports, ‘despite her pleas,’ the husband ‘battered and bruised” her after discovering she had voted for the secularist candidate, Ahmed Shafiq. She died later in the hospital ‘from injuries sustained.’

Likewise, a farmer was ‘stabbed’ by a ‘supporter of Morsi,’ simply for putting up a picture of the secular Shafiq on his motorcycle. Another 52-year-old man and ‘supporter of Morsi’ slapped his mother for voting for Shafiq. The man took his elderly mother to the voting booth, informing her that she must vote for Morsi; after she voted, he pressed her to confirm that she did in fact vote for the Islamist—only to be told that she did not. The man ‘lost his temper’ and slapped her in front of the other voters and electoral supervisors.

Finally, and in accord with the Muslim Brotherhood’s own directives, whole segments of Coptic Christians were prevented from voting. According to Al Ahram, Egypt’s national newspaper, in Upper Egypt, where millions of Copts live, ‘the Muslim Brotherhood blockaded entire streets, prevented Copts from voting at gunpoint, and threatened Christian families not to let their children go out and vote.'” Read more.

By Manar Ammar – “CAIRO: United States President Barack Obama has invited his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Morsi to visit the US for an official visit in September, Deputy Secretary of State William Perez said he delivered the message during his meetings with the president on Sunday.

For the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Morsi, this would be the first visit ever to the US by a Brotherhood member in an official capacity.

Obama previously congratulated Morsi for his victory in Egypt’s first-ever presidential elections. Obama also confirmed his country’s commitment towards democratic development in Egypt and the economy, offering his country’s support.

Obama made a congratulatory phone call when the results were announced late last month.

For his part Morsi sent a thank you note to the American president with Perez.

The Brotherhood, which was banned from political work for the past 60 years, are now holding Egypt’s top position, and were previously banned from holding talks with the US.

After the fall of now jailed President Hosni Mubarak’s 30-year iron rule, the group swept voting in the parliamentary elections and the presidential race when Morsi was up against military man Ahmed Shafiq, Mubarak’s last prime minister.

Despite the ban, the highly organized group had held meetings and talks with the US in recent years, maintaining relations with them.” Read more.

Yes, the nation that descends into a fit of chaotic rage and begins killing innocent Americans upon learning that their holy book wasn’t treated like the Source of All Life is given the status of a “major non-Nato ally.” Let’s just ignore the fact that Afghan President Karzai would rather support a pro-terror country like Pakistan (and others I’m sure) instead of America if given the choice …

“The United States has given Afghanistan the status of ‘major non-Nato ally’.

The designation, which includes countries such as Australia, Egypt and Israel, gives preferential access to US arms exports and defence co-operation.

The announcement was made by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on an unannounced visit to Afghanistan.

It comes ahead of a major donors’ conference in Japan, which is due to discuss aid to Kabul after most Nato-led troops leave the country in 2014.

Participants at Sunday’s meeting in Tokyo are expected to commit almost $4bn (£2.6bn) in annual development assistance to Afghanistan.

The country’s central bank says it needs more than $4bn in aid each year, on top of $4bn for security forces.

A senior British official described the task of raising that money at the Tokyo conference as an unprecedented challenge,

Afghanistan is seeking firm commitments, but donors at Tokyo’s meeting are also seen as likely to demand guarantees from Kabul on good governance and transparency.

Maybe the superior gender is temporarily granted x-ray vision the moment they enter a mosque.  Remember, a Muslim man possesses twice the intelligence of a women, so don’t question this enlightened logic. Just do everything you can to look as ugly as possible. Think of it as a contest. Otherwise, you might cause another earthquake …

‘Umdat al-Salik is a Shafi’i manual of Islamic law endorsed by Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the most prestigious institution in Sunni Islam, as ‘conforming to the practice and faith of the orthodox Sunni community.’

The mind reels. Who determines whether a woman is old or unattractive enough for it not to be offensive for her to go to mosque? Is this the opinion of the husband, father, and male relatives alone? And what if they decide that a particular Muslima is sufficiently ugly to attend prayers in the mosque, but men at the mosque differ, and believe her to be so attractive that they take offense and contend that she should have stayed home? Does internecine warfare ensue?

Flashback: Turkey: Islamists Bar Woman From Public Bus, ‘You Are Causing Us To Sin’ – “A Turkish woman claimed she was prevented from boarding a public bus by a group of Islamists because her outfit would ’cause them to sin,’ according to a report by daily Evrensel. Yağmur Yılmaz, 21, said she left home on June 3 to go to work, wearing a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt… Yılmaz said she told the group it was everybody’s right to board the bus, to which the women from the group replied, ‘We would sin if you get on this bus, you are causing us to sin.’ The men in the group also harassed Yılmaz, she claimed, saying: ‘Look at her. Worldcrunch – “OUJDA – A Moroccan court has ordered the investigation of a controversial imam, Abdellah Nhari, for inciting hatred, reports Le Soir Echos.

In a video posted on YouTube (see below), Nhari suggests that Mokhtar Laghzioui, editor-in-chief of the Arabic newspaper Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, ‘must be killed’ in reaction to his appearance on the new pan-Arabist news channel Al Mayadeen, where he defended individual rights for Moroccan people, especially pertaining to sexual liberties.

The imam also criticizes the Moroccan Association of Human Rights (AMDH), which has previously launched an appeal to legalize sexual relations outside of marriage. ‘These types of secular organizations are corrupt and financed by Europe and the West,’ Nhari said.

As AFP reported, the court in the Moroccan city of Oujda, declared Sunday that Nhari’s speech is ‘likely to lead to crime, incitement of violence through preaching.’

The weekly French-language Moroccan newspaper La Vie éco reported Tuesday that the Moroccan Union of Newspaper Editors (FMEJ) was ‘concerned and shocked’ by the video, declaring that journalists should have the right to express their opinions within the framework of the law.

Mokhtar Laghzioui said: ‘I am relieved the authorities have taken this threat seriously. This is not about any one person. This is a real danger to individual freedom in Morocco.'” Source – Worldcrunch.

By Soeren Kern, Gatestone Institute – “Two Islamists have been arrested in Spain on charges of torturing and murdering two fellow Muslims for ‘abandoning radical Islam.’

The arrests came just days after Spanish newspapers reported that jihadists in Spain are travelling to Syria to help overthrow the government there.

Spanish authorities say the incidents — on top of many others in recent months — point to the accelerating spread in the country of radical Salafi Islam, which Spain’s National Intelligence Center, the CNI, in a leaked secret report — corroborated by the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies, an organization tied to the Spanish Ministry of Defense, in its own recently published a 43-page report entitled, ‘Islamist Movements in Spain’ — states is increasingly posing the greatest threat to national security.

Rachid Mohamed Abdellah and Nabil Mohamed Chaib, both of whom are Spanish citizens of Moroccan origin, were jailed after being questioned by Judge Eloy Velasco at the National Court (Audiencia Nacional) in Madrid on June 28.

Police say the two men, aged 25 and 30 respectively, are members of an Islamist cell based in the city of Melilla, a Spanish exclave on the northern coast of Morocco. They are accused of torturing and murdering two other members of the cell who ‘adopted Western behavior and tried to disengage from radical Islam.’ Spanish authorities say the murders were meted out according to Islamic Sharia law, which calls for the killing of ‘infidels.’

Spanish Interior Minister Jorge Fernández Díaz said the suspects are ‘capable of carrying out especially brutal attacks,’ and share ‘the same radical orthodoxy’ of the Islamists who carried out the March 2004 Madrid train bombings in which 191 people were killed and 1,800 wounded.

At a news conference following the arrests, the Director General of Spanish Police, Ignacio Cosidó, said: ‘They were part of an extremely radical group, and had committed a double murder of two members of their own organization who had shown signs of wanting to leave. Their ideology is clearly jihadi and they believe in terrorism as a means to achieve their objectives. Therefore, they posed a threat of the highest order.'” Read more.

Slate concluded that it must be because of ‘his exotic name and background, the color of his skin, or (most likely) some combination of the two.’ But in reality, the reason why people think Obama is a Muslim is because of how he acts.

Why do people believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim? Here’s why: after the Muslim Brotherhood won the Egyptian presidency, the military moved to curb the president’s powers in order to stave off sharia rule in Egypt. But then Obama warned the military that they better hand over power quickly, or Egypt would lose billions in U.S. aid.

It wasn’t enough that Obama invited the Muslim Brotherhood to his submission speech in Cairo in June 2009, despite the fact that the group was banned at that time for obvious reasons: they wanted to install a sharia government, and the draconian, barbaric code of sharia, in Egypt. It wasn’t enough that after he invited the Brotherhood to his speech; he had officials in his administration meeting with this Islamic supremacist group. It wasn’t enough that he abandoned the true freedom movement, when the women of Iran and Persians and Zoroastrians rose up after 30 years of oppressive sharia rule. Obama spit on them and left them to die. They met bullets with bare flesh and broken bricks.

It was a squandered historical moment: by supporting the demonstrators in Iran, Obama could have done much to remove the head of the snake of Hezb’allah, Hamas, the Shi’ites fighting American soldiers in Iraq, the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the Shia agitation in Bahrain. Obama could have saved the free world and gone down in history as one of the magnificent heroes for good. But that is not who he is. He is a tool, a malevolent subversive who managed to seize the most powerful office in the world with the PR expertise of the enemedia.

Killing frogs in Egypt is plainly forbidden. But killing Jews and Christians in Egypt? That’s perfectly fine …

By Raymond Ibrahim – “Following the presidential victory of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Muhammad Morsi, the very first fatwa to appear by Egypt’s highest fatwa council addresses—not social, political, or economic issues in Egypt—but rather frogs. Specifically, it bans Muslims from hunting and killing frogs to sell to those nations that dine on the amphibians. As the fatwa explains, according to Islam’s prophet Muhammad as recorded in a hadith, a frog’s ‘croaking is praise [to Allah].’ Accordingly, ‘a number of jurists [fuqaha] have relied on this [hadith] to forbid the eating of frogs, under the notion that ‘that which is banned from being killed, is forbidden from being eaten.’

Unlike the many other fatwas dealing with other animals, including cartoon characters—such as the fatwa to kill Mickey Mouse—this frog fatwa is ostensibly humanitarian. Yet, in reality, it only proves how enslaved Muslim societies are to the random words of their prophet—a prophet who, on one occasion ordered the killing of all black dogs because they are ‘devils,’ while making frogs sacrosanct for praising Allah with their croaks—a prophet who, to non-Muslims, was just a 7th century Arab, whose words, obvious reflections of a 7th century mentality, millions of people still cling to today—a prophet who is at the heart of the international dilemma widely known as ‘radical Islam.'” Source – Jihad Watch.
