The Nazarene And The ‘Prophet’

The Nazarene was sinless (2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:22). The self-proclaimed “prophet” of Islam and the so-called most “perfect” human being to ever walk the face of the earth was a sinful man (Qur’an Sura 18:110, 40:55, 48:1-2). To any Muslim readers, choose this day whom you will serve. Will it be the Christ of the Bible that even Mohammed believed was sinless, or a sinful man claiming to be a prophet whose own contemporaries at times often believed him to be deceived by an evil spirit? …

By Glenn Fairman, American Thinker – “It should not seem surprising that as the curtain begins to close on the History of Men, that two great universal systems of apprehending the Divine have commanded center stage: Christianity and Islam. Although both posit their ends in the worship of the One God, when one scratches beneath the surface, the stark differences become manifest. One need only look to the personalities that are held out as templates for their acolytes to emulate. Jesus, the humble and meek, (yet possessing the power to create and dissolve the material universe), suffers unto death the penalties that man has been so deserving of — sacrificially performing that magnanimous act of love that reverberates across the Universe. He calls us to forsake our carnal lives — not as an empty act of nihilism, but as a means to shed our hatreds, pettiness, and the worm of resentment and pride that gnaws at our unregenerate cores. Jesus commands that we renounce every vestige of the world that would war with all things emergent from the light. In Christ, and in the fullness of his love, we are the transformed sons and daughters ransomed back from the folly of our desire to flee and disconnect — reveling in that unruled passion to be the final arbiter of our own faltering trajectories.

And in the Prophet we have the antithesis of the Christ. Mohammad stands as the great archetype of every Muslim. He is the warrior, the sublimator — the fanatic incarnate who draws the line: ‘submit, convert or perish.’ Islam reinforces human distinction, elevates human pride and normalizes the earthly and vicious. All is permitted in waging the grand jihad that will inexorably lead to the submission of the earth under the monolithic law of a terrible and distant god — a deity whose cold hand and dark gaze inject an anxiety and terror into every believer. Mohammad can murder. He can engage in rape and theft. He views women as chattel and children as his playthings. He can engage in treachery and genocide for the sake of his dark vision of the lord god. Christ paved the way for flesh to be made spirit, for rebels to become children and heirs to His kingdom. Mohammad promises a voluptuary paradise of sensual delight — the Celestial Whorehouse of God for unquestioning slaves who enact his bidding — men who unquestioningly shed human blood in the fearful name of their exacting and vengeful lord.

So many centuries hence, we can discern in our matured civilizations the ripened fruit of these two men. Indeed, it seems as if the West, which is wildly intent upon shedding the Nazarene’s ethos, is centrifugally spinning into spiritual darkness, while Mohammad’s maddened distortion of orthodox fire and wreckage is ascending long past the point of no return. From the Christian ethos, the Logos of ordered architectonic genius has permeated our understanding of causality and rationality. Christianity has given us science, opened our eyes to the existence of transcendent truth, kindled our knowledge of man’s worth in the eyes of God, and in the final reckoning, upended the wickedness affirming the lie that one man exists for the sake of another’s arbitrary will. The aesthetic of the loving God has uplifted and imbued our poetry, philosophy, and politics with the sublime and ironclad foundations from which we have constructed our interpretation of the Good Life. Moreover, our enlightened positions as sons and daughters of the Most High have shown us that grace and mercy can be reconciled, at least for a time, upon the pillars of liberty, equality, and wisdom.

But it is in the action of affixing its flinty resolve against the spirit of Jerusalem’s heritage that Islam-Rising casts its opaque veil over the human heart, just as it unleashes that same savage vigor that lurks so cruelly within the unrestrained children of men. In the Fundamentalist Muslim’s worldview, the notions of tolerance, democracy, and political equality are scarcely allowed the honor and authority that the West so foolishly takes for granted, except for that smothered and squalid egalitarianism that languishes at the bottom of a boot. And although slavery was outlawed in Saudi Arabia a generation ago, it exists now, through the blessing of Koranic legitimacy, in its myriad forms throughout the many prison windows of the Islamic world. In truth, we would be liars if we were to ignore Islam’s ancient internal battleground that condemns its silent and subjugated women to the receiving end of its own political/theological mailed fist.

The god of Mohammad remakes nothing, redeems nothing, and loves nothing. He demands obedience through the instrumentalities of blood and divine hatred. As a Capricious Wraith of Unmixed Terror, he cultivates fear in the subjects and slaves who blindly follow his lead through the unwavering Orthodoxy of Despair. A Sea Of Blood: Syria Death Toll Rises To 136,000 After January Becomes One Of The Bloodiest Months On Record

NOW – “More than 136,000 people have been killed since the beginning of the Syrian conflict in March 2011, with January one of the bloodiest months on record, an NGO said Saturday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a monitoring group based in Britain, said the toll now stood at least 136,277 people killed.

Among those are 47,998 civilians, including more than 7,300 children, the group said.

‘January was among the bloodiest months since the beginning of conflict,’ Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman said.

‘We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights will continue to call on all actors on the international stage to do their humanitarian and moral duty to press for the Syrian file to be referred to the International Criminal Court,’ the group said in a statement.

The group said it sought ‘the trial of the murderers of the Syrian people, and those who have collaborated with them.’

The Observatory’s last toll, at the end of December, stood at 130,433, but fierce fighting between rebels and the regime, as well as between rebels and jihadists, has claimed nearly 6,000 lives since then.

The group said at least 31,629 opposition fighters, including more than 8,000 jihadists, had been killed since the start of the conflict.

On the regime side, 53,167 soldiers and militiamen were killed, along with 271 members of Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah and 338 members of other foreign Shiite brigades fighting alongside the government.” Read more.

Syrian Rebels Present Four-Year-Old Fighter Firing Kalashnikov Rifle To Shouts Of ‘Allah Is Greater’

By Ari Soffer, INN – “In the latest alarming evidence of child soldiers being used by Syrian rebel forces, an Islamist brigade linked to Al Qaeda released footage of a four year old it claimed as its youngest recruit.

In the video (below), the child – who can barely hold the AK-47 rifle he is firing – lets off two shots to cheers of ‘Allahu Akbar’. The tiny boy is clad in a black ski mask and is forced to rest the barrel of the rifle on what appears to be a section of a roadblock to prevent himself from falling over.

Britain’s Daily Mail reported that the child is believed to be the son of an Albanian jihadi, one of thousands of foreign Islamist fighters who have flocked to fight on both sides of the Syrian civil war, which is increasingly being waged as a sectarian conflict between Islam’s Shia and Sunni sects.

In December, a video by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) illustrated the numerous cases of young Syrian children – often orphans whoparents were killed by the Assad regime – fighting among the ranks of the country’s various rebel factions.” Read more.

By Lara Adejoro, Nigerian Times – “Unknown gunmen on Friday night attacked the EYN Church at Sabo Gari Gemadai Ward in Gulak, in Madagali local government area of Adamawa State killing a pastor and 10 members of his congregation.

Comfirming th attack, the Chairman of the local government, Mr. Ularamu Maina said, the pastor in-charge of the church was among those killed during the attack that occurred at about 8.30 pm while a vigil was going on in the church.

‘On entering the church, the attackers started shooting sporadically killing many people, including the pastor. The attack left the town in confusion as people ran helter skelter even as the attackers continued to unleash terror and wanton killings’.

The attack came hours after the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Ahmadu Fintiri, visited Chakawa village, venue of last Sunday attack; where unknown gunmen struck in a Catholic Church in Chakawa village in Madagali local government area of the state to sympathize with the people and donate relief materials.

Speaking with newsmen, the Speaker called on the Federal Government to deploy more troops to the area to enable them cover all the nooks and crannies in the mountainous terrain.

He observed that the state of emergency presently operating in the state only covers the highways, leaving rural dwellers at the mercy of attackers.

He however warned that, unless urgent measures are adopted by the authorities, the people of Madagali local government, which shares common border with Borno State, might migrate enmasse.” Source – Nigerian Times.

Nigeria: Islamists Locked Church Doors During Service, Fired Bullets Inside, Slit Throats Of Those Who Tried To Flee

By Carey Lodge, Christian Today – “An attack on a Catholic church in north-eastern Nigeria on Sunday has left at least 22 Christians dead and many more wounded, though local reports suggest the fatalities may be much higher.

Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza told the BBC that a group of men arrived in trucks towards the end of the usual Sunday Mass service in Waga Chakawa village in Adamawa state.

The attackers locked the doors of the church and fired into the congregation, cutting the throats of those who tried to escape. They detonated bombs and then went on a four hour rampage, burning houses and taking hostages from the village between 10am and 2pm.

Reverend Raymond Danbouye has confirmed that at least 22 people were killed in the attack and were buried in a service on Monday. ‘There is no protection. We cannot predict where and when they are going to attack. People can’t sleep with their eyes closed,’ Mamza laments.

It is suspected that Boko Haram is behind the attack – a group that was officially labelled a ‘Foreign Terrorist Organisation’ by the US government in November last year.

The organisation, which has ties to Al-Qaeda and whose name translates as ‘Western education is sacrilege’, is responsible for over two thousand deaths in Nigeria. Its leadership has declared intent to cleanse the country of Christians, eradicate Nigerian democracy and replace it with an Islamic state guided by Sharia law.

Boko Haram is also believed to have carried out a second attack on Sunday in Kawuri village in the neighbouring state of Borno.

At least 52 people were killed in the violence, which also involved gunfire and the detonation of bombs as a busy weekend market was packing up. Three hundred homes were subjected to arson attacks and many civilians who survived are suffering with terrible burns as a result.” Read more.

David Bello, bishop of the Anglican diocese of Otukpo, told Morning Star News. The Rev. Michael Apochi, Roman Catholic bishop of Otukpo Diocese, added that attacks by Muslim Fulani gunmen have devastated Christian communities. ‘Life has become unbearable for our church members who have survived these attacks, and they are making worship services impossible,’ Apochi told Morning Star News by phone.” Read more.

Syria Jihadists Say The Liberation Of ‘Palestine’ Will Follow Assad’s Fall

Indeed it will, but not the kind of “liberation” they expect. While “Allah” and his “prophet” are themselves responsible for the never-ending death and destruction running rampant all throughout the Muslim world, the Muslim world continues to blame Israel as the sole source of all the ills that plague them, a claim often echoed my Islamic clerics and leaders worldwide. They have deceived themselves into believing that in order for there to be peace anywhere upon the earth Israel must first be destroyed. And “peace and safety” is what they expect to finally achieve when they gather together to “liberate” Jerusalem, anticipating that Israel will finally be a nation no more. But it is not Israel that will suffer utter destruction. It will be them …

In recent footage from a Syrian Jihadist training camp in Aleppo, Mohammed Hussein, founder of Bin Laden Front, told a camera crew from VICE News that the militants’s [sic] goal was to topple the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, then its “aim is to liberate greater Syria.”

Hassan Abu Ali, a 15-year old fighter profiled in the report, told VICE, “Once Syria is liberated, our next mission is to liberate Palestine and Golan and continue our conquests. Thanks be to Allah.”

Hussein, the group’s leader, described the Bin Laden Front, one of many Jihadist armies fighting the regime outside of Aleppo and in the Syrian countryside, as a direct outgrowth of his training under 9-11 mastermind Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan, in 2001.

The footage, uploaded to YouTube last week, also profiled a female school teacher who, clad in burka and fatigues, was leading an all-female cell in military maneuvers through burnt-out Aleppo. Like the others, she said her anger was directed at the regime: “We are most unmerciful with those who raised their weapon to their own people and we would crush with our feet not only Bashar but whoever supports him.”

The greater question of Jihad and its call for death as a martyr was also probed in one scene, in particular, with 15-year-old Abu Ali, trying to convince his fair-haired younger sister, still a toddler, of the value of him dying for the cause. “The revolution has opened my eyes to the true nature of the regime,” he told her.

After pushing her on a swing, Abu Ali is sitting next to her on a sofa in their family’s house with his rifle by his side, and she asks him if he’s going to go play with it, and he responds that Read more…

State Department Adviser On Extremism Urges US To ‘Befriend’ Al Qaeda

Seems to me like the Obama Administration is already trying to befriend the enemy. According to the enemy’s deity, however, they are forbidden from befriending them back …

Qur’an: Sura 4:89, “Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.”

Qur’an Sura 5:51, “… they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them [unbelievers]; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

Just Violent Extremists. And there’s no more counter-terrorism, just experts on Countering Violent Extremism.

William McCants was a U.S. State Department senior adviser for countering violent extremism and is a director of the Project on U.S. Relations with the Islamic World at the Brookings liberal think tank.

At the CFR’s Foreign Affairs, McCants joined together with two others to argue that Ahrar al-Sham is, and I quote, ‘an al Qaeda–Linked Group Worth Befriending.’

With the collapse of the Free Syrian Army, the Islamic Front is now the only game in town for the people who insist that we should counter Al Qaeda by supporting Al Qaeda.

The article begins by defending Obama’s stupid jayvee crack, denounces the ‘political rights’ and argues that, ‘The al Qaeda of yesterday is gone. What is left is a collection of many different splinter organizations, some of which have their own — and profoundly local — agendas.’

That line is a bit misleading. The Al Qaeda of yesterday is not  gone, it’s overshadowed by local organizations, meaning that Al Qaeda has accomplished its goal of serving as a vanguard for a global movement of terrorist groups committed to its worldview.

The ‘jayvees’ have overshadowed the Lakers because they have more people, more weapons and more territory. While the Lakers are content to sit and watch the expansion of new franchises around the world.

“Today, two different al Qaeda affiliates, the al-Nusra front and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), are battling each other in Syria’s Raqqa province. Perhaps Oliver North might argue that it is incumbent on the United States to take out both groups. But a more nuanced take would lead the president to ask key questions before taking precipitate action.”

The article conveniently avoids answering the question while taking the time to sneer at Oliver North. But as the experts know full well, the old Al Qaeda had its share of violent conflicts.

The outcome of such a conflict is responsible for Zawahiri’s current position.

Then the article argues that Ahrar al-Sham and the rest of the Islamic Front are the best hope for defeating Al Qaeda in Iraq. That may or may not be so, but the article fails to qualify why we should care which flavor of Al Qaeda emerges victorious in the battle Read more…

Israeli Minister Calls For The Construction Of The ‘Third Temple’ In Al-Aqsa Compound

But is this fulfillment of Bible prophecy? Many Christians today believe that a physical 3rd temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem according to 2 Thessalonians 2:4. In light of the unfolding panoply of the New Testament texts, however, the “third temple” is already built, not as one built by human hands, but rather as one built by Christ Himself. Every time the Apostle Paul wrote about the temple of God (or an equivalent expression) and used the Greek word “naos” he always referred to Christian believers both individually and collectively — the Church. We see this in 1 Corinthians 3:16, 3:17, 6:16, 6:19, Ephesians 2:19-22 — a teaching that is even affirmed by Peter himself in 1 Peter 2:4-5. But those who advocate the idea of a physical 3rd temple suddenly (and perhaps unknowingly) change the consistent and explicit meaning of the “naos” of God in Paul’s previous epistles. In his letter to the Thessalonians, 3rd temple proponents now claim that Paul was suddenly referring to a physical temple instead. Doing so, however, has no textual justification and interprets 2 Thessalonians 2:4 in light of a preconceived doctrine, not in light of Scripture, and forces Scripture to conform to our understanding when what we need to be doing is forcing our understanding to conform to Scripture. World Bulletin – “The Israel Minister of Housing and Construction Uri Ariel on Friday expressed his wish to see the construction of a ‘Third Temple’ in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Al-Quds (East Jerusalem).

According to the Alray Palestinian News Agency, Uri Ariel said ‘The first Temple was destroyed in 586 BCE, the second Temple in 70 CE, and ever since the Jews have been mourning its loss.’

He then went on to say ‘Al-Aqsa Mosque is currently in place of the temple, despite the temple being much holier than it. Al-Aqsa Mosque is only the third most holy mosque in Islam.’

‘Now that Israel has once again become a Jewish sovereign state, there have been occasional calls to rebuild the Temple,’ he added.

Palestinians who have stated their desire to see Israeli occupying forces retreat out of East Jerusalem back to their 1967 borders are suspicious of so called archeological excavations taking place under the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. They believe the works are destabilizing the foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and have already reported damage to the building.

In recent months, the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound has been subject to numerous raids by far-right Jewish settlers under the protection of Israeli security forces, who have performed Jewish rituals on the site. On a number of occasions last year, the Israeli authorities banned Muslim congregational Friday prayers at the mosque.” Source – World Bulletin.

Daniel 12:8-10, “Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, ‘My lord, what shall be the end of these things?’ And he said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.’”

2 Thessalonians 2:4 — A Rebuilt Jewish Temple, or Something Else? – “Even though Daniel was not always granted full understanding, he was faithful in recording the prophecies he was given. Not knowing that the temple of God would one day be the people of God, however, would have conceivably been somewhat bewildering to Daniel if he had himself assumed that it was a physical temple that would be defiled during the time of the end. This could very well have been one of the reasons why Daniel did not understand all that he was receiving. According to the words of the Apostle Paul in Acts 17:24, a physical temple today would be little more than an empty building, void of the presence of God. I am sure that Christ would have known this, suggesting that Jesus would in no way have been referring to a physical temple as the ‘holy place’ in Matthew 24:15 when referring to the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel. A building absent of God is just another building. But the ‘holy temple’ that is the Church in which God dwells, however, is another matter. By Alyssa Farah, WND – “The first delegation of Syrian Christian church leaders to visit the U.S. since civil war broke out in March 2011 spoke Monday at the Heritage Foundation, issuing a stunning warning that the nation’s Christian population could vanish.

‘Today we are faced with a potential extinction of the church,’ Patrick Sookhdeo, chairman of the Westminster Institute, warned. ‘Not just in Syria. We’ve seen it in Iraq. The church could fall in Lebanon.’

The panel discussion, ‘Marked for Destruction: The Plight of Syria’s Christians,’ featured Syrian Christian leaders Rev. Adib Awad, the general secretary of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon; H.E. Bishop Elias Toumeh, Orthodox bishop of Pyrgou-Syria; Rev. Riad Jarjour, former general secretary of the Middle East Council of Churches; H.E. Bishop Dionysius Jean Kawak of the Syrian Orthodox Church; Bishop Armash Nalbandian of the Armenian Church of Damascus, and Bishop Julian Dobbs.

Dobbs said Syria ‘used to be one of the easiest places in the Arab world to be a Christian across the Middle East.

‘The church has existed there since biblical times,’ he said. ‘Christians were respected by the Muslim majority and were able to practice their faith with little interference. But, this has largely changed since the civil war broke out.’

He described the persecution Christian Syrians have faced since the conflict erupted, and he criticized the West for largely ignoring their plight.

‘Christians in their homelands have been attacked and invaded, houses have been ransacked, Christians have been kidnapped for ransom and brutally murdered,’ Dobbs said. ‘Yet much of the Western World, the church, the media have remained silent about this situation.’

According to reports, there were more than 1,200 Christian martyrs in Syria in 2013 alone, while tens of thousands have been displaced.

Jarjour took to the podium to explain the plight of Christians still in Syria.

‘Our Christian community is a broken community; it’s a suffering community. We have thousands and thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) not in their homes, not knowing what to do,’ he said.

The delegation was hosted by the Westminster Institute and Barnabas Aid, a group that gives aid to oppressed Christians worldwide.

Al-Qaeda Tells Muslim Brotherhood To Execute All Christians And Anyone Else Who Oppose Sharia Law

Because “the teachings of Allah need to be applied and enforced” to advance the glory of Islam. And, of course, “all those who reject the Sharia must be executed.” When the “Word of Allah” speaks those who believe are compelled to make all others listen …

By Raymond Ibrahim – “Many of the alleged telephone recordings between ousted Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi and Muhammad Zawahiri, al-Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri’s brother, are becoming available on Egyptian media, and will likely be part of Morsi’s February 16 trial, dealing with his alleged conspiracies with various foreign jihadi organizations.

One call is especially telling regarding al-Qaeda’s enmity for secularists, Coptic Christians, and all who oppose the Sharia agenda.  I translate portions below:

Zawahiri: ‘The teachings of Allah need to be applied and enforced; the secularists have stopped the Islamic sharia, and the response must be a stop to the building of churches.’ ( An odd assertion considering how difficult it is for Copts merely to acquire a repair permit for their churches in Egypt.)

Zawahiri also added that ‘All those who reject the Sharia must be executed, and all those belonging to the secular media which works to disseminate debauchery and helps deviants and Christians to violate the Sharia, must be executed.’

Morsi reportedly replied: ‘We have taken deterrent measures to combat those few, and new legislative measures to limit their media, and in the near future, we will shut down these media stations and launch large Islamic media outlets.  We are even planning a big budget from the [Brotherhood] International Group  to launch Islamic and jihadi satellite stations  to urge on the jihad. There will be a channel for you and the men of al-Qaeda, and it can be broadcast from Afghanistan.’

Undeterred, Zawahiri responded by saying, ‘This [is a] Christian media — and some of the media personnel are paid by the [Coptic] Church and they work with those who oppose the Sharia… secularist forces are allied with Christian forces, among them [Naguib] Sawiris, the Christian-Jew.’

Morsi: ‘Soon we will uphold our promises to you.’
