Australia: Series Of Upcoming TV Commercials To Portray Islam’s ‘Prophet’ As ‘The Savior Of Humanity’

Isaiah 43:11, “I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior.”

The deception continues. Apparently the Muslim world, confused as it already is, is now seeking to persuade gullible “infidels” into believing that there are not one, but two “saviors of humanity.”  Both, of course, are Muslim. So until the “Mahdi” comes, “Mo” is the man. Just ignore the fact that this “prophet” was such a “sexual superman” that he couldn’t even manage to resist raping a 9-year-old child. Or that he personally beheaded hundreds of Jewish men and then enslaved their women and children. Or that he considered women inferior and intellectually deficient to men. Or that he advocated drinking camel urine as medicine. Most importantly, ignore the fact that, even if you believe him to be the glorious “messenger of Allah” and “savior” of humanity, he still can’t guarantee heaven after you die. Just believe in Mohammed and be saved! From what, however, is another question …

By Joe Kovacs, WND – “At this turbulent time in history when many people are looking for answers to their problems, a brand-new TV campaign calling the Islamic prophet Muhammad the ‘savior of humanity’ is about to saturate the airwaves of Australia.

‘Tens of thousands’ of dollars have reportedly been raised by the Muslim community to fund a series of 30-second commercials to begin airing on the country’s biggest networks starting July 9.

The ads are produced by My Peace, an Australian group looking to build bridges between the Muslim community and other citizens of the land Down Under.

The prime-time spots will air over the course of several months, and feature famous historical figures such as Mahatma Gandhi and George Bernard Shaw praising the virtues of Muhammad.

‘This is a response to misinformation. Not many (Australians) are aware of who the prophet is and why we regard him so highly and so emotionally,’ My Peace founder Diaa Mohamed told the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

‘The commercials will be animated with voiceovers and will have quotes on the screen.

‘Muhammad is the most influential man in history and the commercials will show what scholars and historians have said about him.’

Gandhi said the prophet ‘holds undisputed sway over the hearts of millions’ and Shaw called him the ‘savior of humanity.’

My Peace is even selling tickets for those interested in attending the public premiere of the commercials.

This isn’t the first time the group has aired television ads to promote Islam.

Last year, it launched a campaign titled, ‘I’m Muslim and proud,’ featuring a collage of photos of and audio quotes from individual Muslim ‘sponsors,’ with comments including:

  • ‘I believe in Muhammad.’
  • ‘He was a prophet of God … like Noah, Moses and Jesus.’
  • ‘The same God as Jews and Christians.’
  • ‘The prophet Muhammad shunned racism … and mixed with everyone on equal terms.’
  • ‘The prophet Muhammad believed in the future builds on mutual respect.'”

Shortly after a pro-Morsi demonstrator can be seen carrying the black flag of Al-Qaeda, two opponents are thrown from a building and beaten, presumably, to death. This is the “moderate” Brotherhood that Barack Obama supports, not to mention Al-Qaeda that is “currently planning reprisal operations by which to attack the army and the Morsi-opposition” all throughout Egypt …

The Guardian – “A Christian priest has been shot dead in the northern Sinai in what could be the first sectarian killing since the military overthrow of President Mohamed Morsi, as funerals took place for at least 36 people killed between Friday and Saturday in demonstrations and rioting.

Mina Aboud Sharween was attacked in the early afternoon on Saturday while walking in the Masaeed area in El Arish, which is close to the Gaza Strip.

Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood criticised Pope Tawadros, spiritual leader of Egypt’s 8 million Copts, for giving his blessing to the removal of the president and attending the announcement by the head of the army, General Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, suspending the constitution.

The army-appointed interim president, Adly Mansour, met Sisi as senior members of the Muslim Brotherhood, including Morsi, remained in military detention.

Morsi’s supporters have vowed to remain on the streets until he is reinstated. His opponents, meanwhile, have called for more mass rallies to defend what they call the ‘gains of June 30’, a reference to the start of massive protests to call for the removal of the president.

In Cairo, only a fraction of the city’s normally heavy traffic was on the streets on Saturday amid worries that violence could flare again.

Mansour also met on Saturday with leaders of Tamarod (Rebel), the youth movement that organised the mass anti-Morsi demonstrations.

Egyptian cities were left strewn with rocks, glass and bullet casings on Saturday morning after almost 24 hours of violence which left more than 1,100 injured.

Clashes had erupted on Friday night between supporters and opponents of Morsi in central Cairo and other cities across Egypt, as fears of an expected backlash against his removal materialised.” Read more.

Nigeria: 30 Killed After Islamic Gunmen Attack Boarding School, Many Children Burned Alive

USA Today – “POTISKUM, Nigeria (AP) — Islamic militants attacked a boarding school in northeast Nigeria before dawn Saturday, killing 29 students and one teacher. Some of the pupils were burned alive in the latest school attack blamed on a radical terror group, survivors said.

Parents screamed in anguish as they tried to identify the charred and gunshot victims.

Farmer Malam Abdullahi found the bodies of two of his sons, a 10-year-old shot in the back as he apparently tried to run away, and a 12-year-old shot in the chest.

‘That’s it, I’m taking my other boys out of school,’ he told The Associated Press as he wept over the two corpses. He said he had three younger children in a nearby school.

‘It’s not safe,’ he said. ‘The gunmen are attacking schools and there is no protection for students despite all the soldiers.’

Survivors at the Potiskum General Hospital and its mortuary said gunmen attacked Government Secondary School in Mamudo village, 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Potiskum town at about 3 a.m. Saturday. The gunmen are believed to be from the Boko Haram sect whose name means ‘Western education is sacrilege.’

They killed 29 students and an English teacher Mohammed Musa, who was shot in the chest according to another teacher, Ibrahim Abdu.

‘We were sleeping when we heard gunshots. When I woke up, someone was pointing a gun at me,’ said 15-year-old Musa Hassan.

He put his arm up in defense, and suffered a gunshot that blew off all four fingers on his right hand, the one he uses to write with.

He said the gunmen came armed with jerry cans of fuel that they used to torch the school’s administrative block and one of the hostels.

‘They burned the children alive,’ he said, the horror showing in his wide eyes.

He and teachers at the morgue said dozens of children from the 1,200-student school escaped into the bush but have not been seen since.” Read more.

UK: Islamic TV Channel Fined After Cleric Tells Followers Muslims Have ‘A Duty To Kill’ Anyone Insulting Mohammed

A fine. That’s it. The British government bans people who speak out against Islamic jihad from entering Britain, but allows a channel that promotes murderous jihad against anyone insulting the “prophet” of Islam? Irrational. Insane. Irresponsible. This channel should not simply be fined yet allowed to remain. It should be taken off the air completely …

ITV – “A television channel has been hit with a large fine after broadcasting a speech by an Islamic scholar who said Muslims had ‘a duty to kill’ anyone who insulted the prophet.

The watchdog Ofcom levied the fine, totalling £105,000, after it found DM Digital had twice breached the broadcasting code.

Ofcom’s report cited a programme called Rehmatul Lil Alameen which was broadcast on October 9 2011, and which featured a live lecture which it said was “likely to encourage or incite the commission of crime or to lead to disorder”.

Ofcom fined the channel £85,000 and ordered them not to repeat the broadcast.

The channel was also criticised for its coverage of a UK-based conference later the same year which Ofcom said offered a ‘one-sided’ view of political violence in Karachi.

Turkish PM Slams Egyptian Military’s Ousting Of Islamist President, Says It Is ‘Unacceptable’ And Must Not Be Tolerated

It is understood by many that Daniel 11:21-45 prophecied the historical conflict between Antiochus IV Epiphanes (the “King of the North” who ruled the region of modern day Turkey and elsewhere) and Ptolemy VI (the “King of the South” who ruled the region of modern day Egypt). In verses 40-43 Daniel writes that the various conflicts that took place historically between these two kings would in some way be repeated yet again shortly before the Messiah comes. Is the stage now somehow being set for its fulfilment? Let us continue to watch …

Daniel 11:40-43, “At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. France24 – “Turkey’s prime minister on Friday condemned the military intervention that toppled Egypt’s Islamist president Mohamed Morsi as an enemy of democracy, and chastised the West for failing to brand the ouster a coup.

Referring to his country’s history of coups, Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned that such military uprisings come at a heavy price and must not be tolerated.

‘No matter where they are… coups are bad,’ Erdogan said in televised remarks. ‘Coups are clearly enemies of democracy.

‘Those who rely on the guns in their hands, those who rely on the power of the media cannot build democracy…. Democracy can only be built at ballot box,’ said Erdogan, who had forged friendly relations with Morsi during the Egyptian’s one-year in power.

Erdogan also lashed out at the West for shying away from calling the military intervention a coup, while welcoming the African Union’s decision to suspend Egypt over the army’s actions.” Read more.

Egypt Independent – “The situation has heated up in Naga Hassan village, west of Luxor, after the killing of a Muslim man and the injury of a Copt on Friday.

The number of houses belonging to Copts that have been burned is now 23. Police fired teargas bombs to stop the clashes.

Police are protecting dozens of Copts at the police station near the area where the clashes are taking place. Security has been enhanced around Dabe’iya church, for fear of an attack. The police and military troops have exerted a huge effort to end the clashes.” Source – Egypt Independent.

At Least 30 Reported Dead In Egyptian Violence, Brotherhood Vows To Fight Until Morsi Reinstated – “At least 30 people were killed in Egypt Friday and Saturday in fighting between soldiers and supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi, witnesses said. The New York Times reported at least 30 people had been killed across the country by early Saturday, though it was not possible to accurately assess the full extent of casualties… Pro-Morsi marches took place in Alexandria, Beheira and Minyain, among other cities.” Read more.

UK: Muslim Man Slaughters British Teen ‘Without Warning’ In Broad Daylight While Laughing

Manchester Evening News – “A teenage gap-year student was knifed to death in the street in broad daylight by a ‘laughing’ stranger in Manchester, a jury has heard.

Kieran Crump-Raiswell, 18, was heading to look for a job when Imran Hussain, 27, walked up to him and ‘without warning’ stabbed him four times in the chest, Manchester Crown Court was told.

Witnesses to the shocking scene in Whalley Range said Hussain appeared to be ‘sniggering’ as he ran to his car and drove off, jurors heard.

The killing was the second of two street assaults committed on total strangers within 12 days in January.

Mature student Hussain, from Bracknell, Berkshire, drove from his student flat in Coventry on January 4 and punched a man in the face in Nottingham and ran off.

On January 16, he travelled up to Manchester from Coventry.

Peter Wright QC, prosecuting, said: ‘It is the prosecution case that on this occasion, fortified by the apparent ease at which a stranger could be attacked, this time he travelled to Manchester armed with a knife and intending to kill someone.’

Hussain drove around Whalley Range and Chorlton in the early afternoon for around a hour.

‘He was driving around the area, stopping and then carrying on,’ he said. ‘We say he was now looking for a suitable victim.’

Hussain parked his vehicle in Upper Chorlton Road and then got out with a knife as his victim walked along nearby, he continued.

Mr Wright said: ‘Kieran crossed the road and then entirely without warning he approached him and he stabbed him to the front and back of his chest four times before running off.’

He said the defendant initially denied involvement in either of the incidents when he was arrested days later.

But he ‘changed his tune’ when the evidence against him began to unravel.

Hussain went on to claim he had been hearing ‘threatening and abusive voices’ and that he travelled to the two cities to confront them.” Read more.

Palestinian Jihadist Group Claims Credit For Arizona Wildfire That Killed 19 Firefighters

Even if they are not responsible, the fact that Islamic jihadists can so easily take credit for events that have resulted in mass death and destruction should be no surprise. Islam is, after all, symbolized in Scripture as a man called Death …

By DAVID BARNETT, The Long War Journal – “A Palestinian jihadist group, Masada al Mujahideen, recently claimed credit for ongoing wildfires in Arizona in a statement posted to jihadist forums today. The statement, titled ‘Masada al-Mujahideen Fulfilled its Promise and Attacked America Again After the Expiration of the Period with Fires that Achieved Historic Results,’ was obtained and translated by the SITE Intelligence Group.

‘We had previously announced an unconventional war against the occupation state of Israel, and then we escalated this war to reach its main supporter, America, so that it receives a major share of it, which will destroy their flora and fauna, with permission from Allah and then with our hands,’ the group said.

The statement further said that the group targeted the United States ‘in order to make it clear and to make it know we can reach it when we warn it, and to make it certain that our hands don’t just reach it but also strike it.’

The group warned that the attacks ‘will not be the last…if America does not respond to our demands.’ The statement boasted that 19 firefighters had been killed in the fires.

Contrary to the claims of Masada al Mujahideen, authorities have said that they believe the fires were started as a result of lighting.

Today’s statement was not the first highly dubious claim by the jihadist group related to fires in the US. In January 2012, the group claimed credit for wildfires in Nevada.

According to SITE, in addition to claiming responsibility for fires in the US, the jihadist group has claimed credit for more than a dozen fires in Israel since 2010.” Read more.

Egypt: Islamist Group Calls Upon Supporters To ‘Take To The Streets’ After Friday Prayers, Morsi Supporters Clash With Police

By Gil Ronen, INN – “There is fear in Egypt that bloodshed will take place on Friday, the first Friday after the military deposed elected Islamist president Mohammed Morsi following demonstrations by millions of citizens.

The Egyptian Islamic Coalition, headed by the Muslim Brotherhood, called on supporters to take to the streets after the Friday prayers and hold huge rallies. Citizens were asked told to “demonstrate peacefully and say ‘no’ to the army’s arrests and ‘no’ to the military coup.

The Coalition said it was time ‘to break the collusion with corrupt figures from the period of the Mubarak regime.’

Al Ahram explained that the Coalition is an umbrella group that unites 40 Islamic movements, parties and organizations. It is headed by the Muslim Brotherhood and its polical party, the Freedom and Justice party.” Read more.

Supporters Of Deposed Morsi Clash With Police And Military Near Cairo University – “Violence in Egypt has been renewed, some 24 hours after elected president Mohamed Morsi was deposed by the military. Egyptian media reported that there were clashes Thursday afternoon between supporters of Morsi and security forces at A-Nahda, near Cairo University. Several protesters climbed atop military armored personnel carriers and called out slogans against the military council that deposed Morsi. Security forces fired in the air to disperse the crowd. For this “Religion of Peace” leader, raiding Christian bookstores, destroying churches, bombing Bible schools, arresting, beating, threatening to crucify and bury Christians alive isn’t working well enough to stem the tide of converts to Christianity. When Christians in Sudan and around the Islamic world are taking the Word of God to heart, why should it? …

ICC – “An Islamic leader has rebuked his government for not taking decisive action against Christians operating ‘boldly’ in the country, typifying the disturbing response of Islamic leaders to the growth of the Church in Sudan.

On May 14, Ammar Saleh, the chairman of the Islamic Centre for Preaching and Comparative Studies, bemoaned the increase in apostasy, the growth of the Church and the alleged failure of the state to protect Islam from the double threats of Christianity and Atheism.

Saleh pointed out the disturbing decline in people’s interest in converting to Islam, stating that it was non-existent. He argued that anyone who believes there’s growth in Sudan’s Islamic faithful is ‘living on Mars,’ drawing attention to increasing proselytizing and an exodus of Muslims to Christianity.

Taking Khartoum as a pattern of things, he pointed out that aggressive missionary work resulted in 109 ‘apostates’ who abandoned Islam and turned to faith in Christ. He also added that cases of apostasy and atheism are on the rise, while authorities are negligent in addressing the issue. He expressed concern over the way the figures were rising in a ‘continuous’ and ‘scary’ fashion, especially with the presence of atheists and homosexuals.

Although Islamic law has not yet been fully implemented, Saleh derided his government for neglecting the issue of apostasy, appealing to official bodies and the community to take a stand against the ‘Christianization’ of Sudan and find a long-term solution to the problem. He also stated that the government’s efforts to curb the rise of Christianity were timid as compared to the efforts of missionaries to lead people to Christ.

In response to his comments, Open Doors USA Spokesman, Jerry Dykstra, says, ‘The bad news is that he wants to put more pressure on the government and the army to crack down on the Christians there. But the good news is that many there are coming to Christ. It’s been difficult for them obviously, but they are growing in numbers’…

In February, at least 55 Christians linked to the evangelical church in Khartoum were detained without charge. On Feb. 18, the cultural center of the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church in Khartoum was raided by the National Intelligence and Security Services. Three people were arrested and several items were confiscated, including books and media equipment, according to Charisma News.

Churches are being forced to close down, foreign workers are being kicked out of the country and Christians are constantly pressurized by the government and society in all kinds of ways, so much so that the recent increase in Christian persecution in Sudan moved the country from being ranked 16th on the 2012 Open Doors World Watch List to 12th in 2013.” Read more.

Agenzia Fides – “Mariam was a 15-year-old Christian from Qusair, a city of the governorate in Homs, 35 km south of the capital. The city, which had become a stronghold of the Syrian rebels, was reconquered by the troops of the regular army at the beginning of June. Mariam’s story – sent to Fides thanks to the report of two Catholic priests – is a sign of the brutality of the conflict and the extreme vulnerability of religious minorities. Mariam’s family was in town when militants linked to the jihadist group ‘Jabhat al-Nusra’ conquered and occupied it.

While her family was able to escape, Mariam was taken and forced into an Islamic marriage.

Fides sources point out that, through social networks, the fatwa was widespread in Syria produced by Yasir al-Ajlawni – A Salafi sheikh of Jordanian origin, resident in Damascus – who declared lawful, for opponents of the regime of Bashar al-Assad, rape committed against ‘any non-Sunni Syrian woman.’ According to the fatwa to capture and rape Alawi or Christian women is not contrary to the precepts of Islam.

The commander of the battalion ‘Jabhat al-Nusra’ in Qusair took Mariam, married and raped her. Then he repudiated her. The next day the young woman was forced to marry another Islamic militant. He also raped her and then repudiated her. The same trend was repeated for 15 days, and Mariam was raped by 15 different men. This psychologically destabilized her and made her insane. Mariam, became mentally unstable and was eventually killed.

‘These atrocities are not told by any International Commission’ say to Fides two Greek-Catholic priests, Fr. Issam and Fr. Elias who have just returned to town. The two are collecting the cry’s and complaints of many families. ‘Who will do something to protect civilians, the most vulnerable?’ they ask. As reported to Fides, the two have just celebrated a Mass to consecrate again the Catholic church of St. Elias in Qusair.
