BACA – “In the early hours of the morning, tragedy befell the Talvandi Anayat Khan Bajwa community in Pasrur, Sialkot [in Pakistan], when 20-year-old Farhan ul Qamar (20 yrs), an aspiring medical student and devout Christian, was brutally murdered in his own home.

The assailant, identified as Muhammad Zubair (24 yrs), targeted Farhan for expressing support for Israel on social media during the recent conflict with Palestine.

For an agonizing half-hour, the heartless assailant subjected the family and other Christians in the vicinity to relentless abuse, baselessly accusing them of being Jewish agents and issuing ominous threats of mass murder.

The remorseless culprit has since been apprehended by the police, and disturbingly, he has expressed an intention to target other Christians upon his release from prison.” Read more.

The genocide of Armenians was committed by Turkish Muslims who “raped tiny girls and women, slaughtered the innocent, burned children alive and massacred millions of non-Muslims – all in accordance with Islam, the religion of ‘peace’. To erect a monument in memory of non-Muslims who were slaughtered for the glory of Allah is offensive to many Muslims, not because they are ashamed of the atrocities that were committed in the name of their religion, but because they are proud of them and these monuments honor the memory of those killed, not those who did the killing. Medforth – “Turkish extremists rejoice: the Cologne monument to the Armenian genocide, which Turkey does not recognise, has been repeatedly erected and dismantled over the years. Sometimes the city had the statue removed on the grounds that a cycle path was to be built and sometimes for fear of ‘social upheaval’. After a march by Turkish nationalists, including supporters of the far-right Grey Wolves and DITIB associations, at the end of October, the city finally decided that the memorial should be removed.

The memorial was erected in Cologne in 2018 to commemorate the victims of the Armenian genocide between 1915 and 1918. At that time, between 300,000 and more than 1.5 million people were murdered in massacres and death marches under the responsibility of the Young Turk government of the Ottoman Empire, which was formed by the Committee for Unity and Progress. For international historians, the genocide is indisputable, but Turkey does not recognise the crime.

Since its inauguration next to the Kaiser Wilhelm equestrian statue, the memorial of the ‘Remember Genocide’ initiative has repeatedly caused disputes with Turkish nationalists, who have successfully put pressure on the city. Following protests, the memorial was repeatedly removed by the city and rebuilt by activists from the initiative – although the city’s reasons for not granting the memorial permission and removing it often varied from time to time. Sometimes it was said that a cycle path was to be built and sometimes they were a little more frank – speaking of fear of ‘social upheaval’.

For example, Cologne’s mayor Reker recently justified herself with the ‘diverse interests of our pluralistic urban society’, which had to be taken into account. However, this did not stop the ‘Remember Genocide’ initiative from putting the sculpture back up in the city centre on April 24 this year, Remembrance Day. The city then issued a special use permit until May 24. However, this was not sufficient for the campaign and they filed a legal complaint.

In addition to denying the genocide against the Armenians, the participants in the demonstration did not distance themselves from the atrocities committed by Hamas in Israel and even denied them. The chairman of the youth organisation ‘Fatherland Party’ spoke to public broadcaster WDR about the right of Palestinians to defend themselves, explicitly including Hamas terror.” Read more.

In our post-modern era, the impulse that drives violent “Allahu Akbar!” behavior needs to be associated with mental illness. To explain the propensity for “Allahu Akbar!” terrorism in any way other than through a naturalistic construct is anathema to secular norms, so violent “Allahu Akbar!” Muslims murdering others are often labeled “mentally ill” and nothing more, yet somehow possess the mental “Allahu Akbar!” acuity to feign “insanity” in an attempt to excuse their desires for murderous “Allahu Akbar!” martyrdom and the “guarantee” of an eternally carnal paradise. “Allahu Akbar!” In an embarrassing twist of irony, however, attributing this “Allahu Akbar!” behavior to “mental illness” automatically designates the “Allahu Akbar!” prophet whom these Muslims model such “Allahu Akbar!” behavior after as mentally ill himself. The Times Of Israel – “There was a clear failure in the psychiatric care of the radicalized Islamist suffering from mental troubles who stabbed a German tourist to death in central Paris at the weekend, France’s interior minister said Monday.

The attack close to the Eiffel Tower has increased concerns in France over the risk of Islamist attacks, particularly with the French capital now barely half a year away from hosting the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

The attacker was a Frenchman in his mid-20s born to a non-religious Iranian family who had already done prison time for planning an attack and was known to the authorities as an Islamist radical with mental troubles.

‘There was clearly a failure, not from the point of view of his monitoring by the intelligence services, but a psychiatric failure,’ Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin told BFM TV, adding the attacker had an ‘acute mental illness.’

‘Doctors said on several occasions that he was doing better, was more normal, and could be free.'” Read more.

By Dr. Stephen M. Kirby, Jihad Watch – “On October 20, 2023, the polling company Cygnal released a report on Americans’ views about the early October Hamas terrorist attack on Israel. The report was titled Survey of General Population: Israel -Hamas Awareness and Attitudes.[1] The survey presented the same questions to six different groups: Jewish Americans, Muslim Americans, Evangelicals, Republicans, Independents, and Democrats, with the results being shown for each.

One of the disturbing results of this survey came in response to this question:

Below you will read a list of names of various people mentioned in the news recently. For each one, please indicate if you have heard of the person, and if you have, whether you have a favorable or unfavorable impression of the person. If you don’t recognize a name, choose so.

The name given was Ismail Haniyeh, a senior Hamas leader, and 38.6% of Muslim Americans had a favorable impression of him (of the other five groups, the closest favorable rating came from Democrats at 14.9%). There are an estimated 3.45 million Muslim Americans in the United States. This survey indicates that around 1.3 million Muslim Americans have a favorable impression of Haniyeh.

This is disturbing for two reasons. On October 8, 1997, the United States designated Hamas as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. And in January 2018, the U.S. State Department designated Ismail Haniyeh as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist.

This favorable impression of Haniyeh was not due to a lack of information among Muslim Americans. The survey showed that when asked how closely they had followed events in Israel since the attack by Hamas on October 7^th (“Hamas Awareness”), 30.9% of Muslim Americans responded ‘Somewhat Closely,’ and 44.9% responded “Very Closely.”

When asked about being informed with regard to ‘Fatah, Hamas and Palestinian politics,’ 65.4% of Muslim Americans considered themselves ‘Informed,’ and 7.3% considered themselves ‘Expert.’

The survey showed that Muslim Americans were also aware of the following events regarding the October 7^th attack by Hamas:

1. ‘Over 1,200 people were killed in Israel, including women, infants, the elderly, and Holocaust survivors.’ Very Aware: 36.4%, and Somewhat Aware: 41.9%
2. ‘Over 250 people who were attending an all-night music festival were killed in Israel.’ Very Aware: 33.7%, and Somewhat Aware: 42.7%
3. ‘Over 100 people, incljuding women and young children, were abducted from Israel and are bing held hostage in Gaza.’ Very Aware: 36.9%, and Somewhat Aware: 44.4%
4. ‘Hamas militants decapitated young children during their attack in Israel.’ Very Aware: 25.9%, and Somewhat Aware: 40%

So despite the extent of the knowledge among Muslim Americans about the above incidents, around 1.3 million Muslim Americans still had a favorable impression of Haniyeh, and by inference, HAMAS.” Read more.

8NewsNow – “Las Vegas police and the FBI thwarted a potential terror plot involving a 16-year-old, police said Friday.

During a news conference, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials detailed an investigation into a terror threat on a social media platform. The image of the threat was shown by LVMPD officials. It read:

‘Peace be upon all brothers who see this. I am here to announce that I will be starting lone wolf operations in Las Vegas against the enemies of Allah. I ask you to make Dua for victory. I am a supporter of the Islamic State, and I will make sure the zionists in this city know it.’

The post included an ISIS flag and words in Arabic.

Police immediately initiated a multi-agency investigation, officials said, and increased security in the area. Within hours of identifying the threat, police said they were able to identify the individual responsible and his location.
