Take note of the President’s backdrop in the photo above. There are 99 windows, each bearing one of the names of Islam’s deity in Arabic calligraphy. Though not visible in the photo, one of the names of Islam’s deity is Ad-Darr, which means “The Afflicter” or “The Distressor.” Pick up virtually any thesaurus and the word “calamity” — the figurative meaning for the name of the disastrous “star” that falls from heaven to earth in the Book of Revelation — is synonymous with “affliction” and “distress.” Another name is Al-Malik, meaning “The King.”  The most telling name, however, is a name whose meaning directly reflects the destructive by-product we see from Islam all across the world on a daily basis, the name Al-Mumit, which means The Destroyer.  Sound familiar?

By Robert Spencer, PJ Media – “After seven years of pandering to and appeasing the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran, Barack Obama will mark the crowning moment of his presidency: today he will — for the first time as president — visit a mosque in the United States.

A White House official says he intends to ‘celebrate the contributions Muslim Americans make to our nation.’ The Washington Post added that he was making the trip ‘to promote religious tolerance at a time when rhetoric linking Islam with terrorism is growing.’

In other words, Obama is going to the mosque because of Donald Trump, Ben Carson, and other Republican candidates whom the media has roasted for linking Islam with terrorism.

Of course, the mosque he has chosen to visit is … the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic Society of Baltimore. Obama is more concerned with Republican rhetoric linking Islam with terrorism than with the increase in such rhetoric emanating from Muslims themselves, drawn directly from Islamic canon.

The latest Islamic State video is titled ‘Kill Them Wherever You Find Them’. This is a quotation from the Qur’an (2:191, 4:89, 9:5).

A few weeks ago, a convert to Islam named Edward Archer shot and seriously wounded Philadelphia police officer Jesse Hartnett. He then engaged in rhetoric linking Islam to terrorism, saying:

I follow Allah. I pledge my allegiance to the Islamic state. That is why I did what I did.

Will Obama discuss these examples — and there are countless more — of Muslims linking Islam to terrorism when he visits the Islamic Society of Baltimore? Will he challenge this mosque and other U.S. mosques to institute honest, transparent, inspectable programs that teach against the understanding of Islam that gives rise to jihad violence?

Not likely. He is going there to celebrate the contributions Muslims have made to our nation. But he will never address the contributions which do not fit his narrative; he will never consider presenting Americans with an objective weighing of the negatives balanced against any positives.

We all know of the economic and quality-of-life negatives he thinks disappear if he chooses to ignore them, like the remodeling of the New York skyline. Read more…

Inquisitr – “A 14-year-old Syrian boy was beheaded by the Extremists of the Islamic State, or as they are better known — ISIS. The beheading happened in the northern city of Jarablus after he was accused of apostasy for missing his prayers. Making matters even worse is that ISIS beheaded the teenage boy right in front of his parents.

According to Mirror, the boy missed his Friday night prayers at the city’s central mosque, and it forced him to be brought to death by ISIS.

Apostasy is defined as the abandonment or renunciation of a religious or political belief. Due to the fact that the boy simply missed prayers on Friday night, ISIS believed that he had completely renounced his faith and could no longer be trusted…

ISIS beheading the 14-year-old boy in front of his parents is being seen as yet another message, and not just since he missed his prayers. ‘Life and Death Inside An ISIS Prison,’ by Mike Giglio and Munzer al-Awad, BuzzFeed, January 28, 2016:

TEL ABYAD, Syria — The jihadis had scrawled a warning above the stairs that descended to their underground prison: Forbidden to enter.

At the bottom, a dusty chair sat in darkness behind a heavy desk. An ISIS guard once kept watch there, but now the prison was empty. The only sound was dripping water, and the only relics of the terror inflicted on the captives were the messages on the walls. One had met new arrivals at the desk: Death comes to you. God is great….

The largest room in the basement was reserved for those who were sentenced to be beheaded. Qur’ans were stacked atop a radiator — prisoners were told to read them as they awaited their fates. There was another directive graffitied outside the door: Do not approach.

The prisoners were kept in small rooms down the hall. They scratched and penciled cryptic phrases onto the concrete walls. Ask forgiveness from God, read one. Said another: God also has mercy.

Some had written their names. A few kept tallies of their time there — one stopped at 46 days. Others left only phone numbers. The digits appeared on wall after wall….

Each day in the prison began when the jihadis stirred the dozen or so men in his small room awake. Often they beat the prisoners, and then they made them pray. There were courses on ISIS’s fanatical version of Islam. The prisoners were fed just once a day, a small meal in the evenings. They knew there were other men in different rooms suffering the same fate. “When we were being beaten, they heard us, and when they were being beaten, we heard them,” he said….

Finishing his tea in Turkey, the former vegetable vendor remembered that it was about a month into his time at the prison when his father’s name was called, leaving him to worry in the cell, hoping in vain that his father would return.

Days later, a jihadi pulled him out too. The jihadi said that his father had been told to work with ISIS and refused. He was led into the room the prisoners feared, given a Qur’an to read, and killed….

Flashback: Boko Haram In Nigeria Pledges Allegiance To ISIS

By Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart – “In one of their most heinous massacres to date, militants from the radical Islamist Boko Haram group slaughtered over a hundred victims in a village in northeast Nigeria Saturday night, including a number of children whom they burned alive.

 

The latest atrocity from the jihadi group allied to the Islamic State took place in the village of Dalori, some three miles from Maiduguri, Nigeria. Vice Chairman of a civilian joint task force in Dalori, Modu Kaka, said that at least 100 dead bodies were taken away but that hundreds are still missing.

Witnesses spoke of ‘scores of bodies’ burned and riddled with bullets lying in the streets after the attack Saturday night. One man, who managed to escape by hiding in a tree, said that he could hear the wails of children screaming in the flames.

Residents of the community said the militants stormed into town around 6:20 pm and began their killing spree, which lasted for several hours. During the assault, the jihadis demolished houses and burned livestock once they had pillaged and carried away foodstuffs. Several of the villagers were burnt beyond recognition.

Witnesses reported that the fighters ravaged the settlement for four hours, and that three female suicide bombers blew themselves up among people who were fleeing.

Students at nearby University of Maiduguri heard explosions and gunfire, and many fled the area as the conflict raged.

One political science student named Hauwa Ba’na said: ‘We are crying in our hostel because the explosions are loud and everyone is panicking.'” Read more.

Were they among the “hundreds of Muslims” that the Canadian authorities were monitoring discussing “knife and gun” attacks inside Canada? Unknown. But if the authorities (and the media) can downplay and deny any link to Islamic terror, they will do precisely that …

CALGARY – Police said they responded to a shooting at Ten X Nightclub at the 1100 Block of 10 Avenue southwest just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

A 38-year-old man was shot and taken to hospital in stable condition.

Two men are now facing charges after a gunman opened fired inside the Calgary nightclub.

Two of the club’s bouncers are being credited for saving more people from being shot, as they put their lives on the line to tackle the gunman.

Spencer Wallace considers himself lucky to be alive. The part-time nightclub bouncer narrowly missed being shot.

“I hear a gunshot and I see a guy get shot in the chest and I watch a door explode and watch a nightclub go from perfectly calm to sheer panic in about 10 seconds,” said Wallace.

At around 1:30 a.m., three men pulled up in front of the nightclub. Two waited in the car, while the other walked up to the front door and fired several shots inside, when one victim was shot, police said.

“One of our other staff (was) there and started to apply pressure right away to him. So for 10 seconds, he was unattended before one of our guys was on him trying to help,” said Wallace. “I watched people get glass showered over them. If I was doing a pat down at the time, I would have been in this guy’s line of fire and I could’ve been shot.”

Witnesses said the shooter was jumped by staff right away, with the loaded gun still in his hands.

“The camera footage shows other people, customers sprinting away. He tackled the guy right away. No hesitation. An average-sized guy, mid 30s, nice guy but no hesitation from him at all. He knew what he had to do and he put himself on the line to protect people that he didn’t know,” said Wallace. “So they were wrestling a guy with a cocked handgun, who had already opened fire on innocent people.”

“About five or 10 minutes later, I’m out front and the gun is laying on the sidewalk and the police officer tells me to move out of the way because the hammer is still cocked back and it could go off.”

The Calgary police gang suppression team happened to be on scene at the time. One passenger in the vehicle tried to help the shooter and got away. The third person in the car was arrested.

Two men are facing six charges each.

As for Wallace, he’s had enough of his part-time bouncer job, but he has loads of praise for what his colleagues did.

“I am never going to put a security shirt back on. I have a day job and guns are a whole other level of violence that I’m not prepared for and I do not want to deal with,” Wallace said. “I give these two guys nothing but the utmost respect and praise. They saved lives last night, there’s no doubt in my mind.”

Mohamed Elmi, 31, and Mohamed Salad, 29, both of Calgary, each face the following charges:

• Discharge firearm with intent to endanger life
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle
• Possession of firearm with altered or defaced serial number
• Aggravated assault
• Pointing a firearm

In a sermon delivered at Abu Hurairah Centre in Toronto … Imam Rageah called on Canadian Muslims to unite and translate their demography into a political and economic power that is necessary to make the government allow Muslims to implement the Islamic Law (Sharia) in their communities and to change the foreign policy.

Rageah spoke in favour of following the example of the Sikh neighbourhood in Edmonton, Alberta, by bringing the Muslim community to live together in one area in which the authorities will not be able to make any decision without the approval of the Muslims.

He urges Muslims to hire only Muslim workers, to buy products or services only from Muslim-owned businesses and to avoid advertising with media outlets owned by kafir, meaning unbeliever or infidel. In this way, he maintained, Canadian Muslims can strengthen themselves and live according to Islam.

‘With four, five [hundred] thousand Muslims you can create the most powerful lobby in Canada… with that number of Muslims you can create one of the strongest Muslim business in Toronto…

‘If you just put our resources, if we put our resources together, if we can work together as an Ummah [Muslim nation] we can change a lot…

‘As Muslims, we are scattered all over the city. You have people living in Brampton, you have people living in Mississauga, you have people living in Whitby, you have people living in Richmond Hill. Imagine if we all get together in one area. […]

‘Brothers in the masjid [Mosque] right now, they are coming up with the magazine or newspaper called Ummah Times. What Ummah Times is that? Ummah Times is advertising all your businesses all the Muslim businesses [are] Ummah.

‘All you need to do – I will never advertise with a kafir [unbeliever, infidel], there you go.

‘I hear some advertisements giving to 680 News $5,000. Before your Muslim brothers $50 and $80 or $100 we think twice before we do it.

‘Unless we work together, the day we need a truck driver we know where to find truck drivers.

‘The day that I need a cab I should have a number of a Muslim cab it’s ok, pick me up.

‘When I want to see a doctor, only Muslim doctor.

‘When I want to hire someone only Muslim worker.

‘Then we can strengthen ourselves. This is the way and this is the only way we can exist in the society, living according to Islam. […]

‘My brothers in faith, anything that happens in your Muslim community, in the City of Toronto, anything that can be done, five hundred thousand Muslims that is a great number, large number, you can do a lot, work together. Let’s be an Ummah [nation]…

‘Take your children to Islamic schools.

‘Take your vehicle to Muslim owned business.

‘If you buy a vehicle make sure there is a Muslim business or car dealer that sells cars.

‘If you want to do anything just ask if that individual is a Muslim or not. If he is not, then look for a Muslim, because I’m sure you’ll find a Muslim. I’m sure you’ll find a Muslim in that field…
