Louisiana: Qur’an Recovered From New Orleans Attacker’s Home Opened To Verse Telling Muslims To Fight And Kill For Allah – “As the investigation is underway into the ghastly terrorist attack that happened in New Orleans city of United States on Wednesday, federal authorities have found incriminating materials in the slain attacker’s trailer home in North Houston. The authorities reportedly found bomb-making material in his bedroom along with a Quran opened at verse 9:111 which reads, ‘They fight in Allah’s cause, and slay and are slain; a promise binding…’ … The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted in the ice coolers at the French Quarter. Ohio: Muslim Kent State University Professor Praises ‘Miracle’ 10/7 Massacre Of Jews – “Kent State University professor of Mathematics and Imam of the Islamic Society of Akron and Kent in Ohio, Nader Taha, stated that Gaza had planted the ‘seed of freedom’ for the entire world. Washington: Friends Intervene To Stop Parents‘ Attempted Honor Killing Of Daughter – “A mother was arrested at the border while fleeing to Canada after she allegedly tried to strangle her daughter in an ‘honor killing’. Zahraa Subhi Mohsin Ali, 40, was charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, and assault … alongside her husband Ihsan Ali, 44. The girl, 17, who was not named, ran away from home to Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington, after her parents tried to put her on a plane to Iraq. ‘Her father had recently been threatening her with honor killing for refusing an arranged marriage with an older man in another country,’ the girl told police, according to court documents. Shocking video allegedly showed Ihsan on the ground with his daughter in a chokehold outside the school, while classmates desperately tried to free her. After they fought him off, Zahraa allegedly tried to finish the job but was stopped by the girl’s 16-year-old boyfriend and classmates.” Read more.

Minnesota: Muslim Developer Unveils Plans To Build Enormous Islamic Town – “A Minnesota property developer has unveiled plans for a controversial ‘Muslim-friendly’ community. Faraaz Yussuf hopes to build a town for around 1,500 residents on a former sod farm near the Twin Cities. The community, dubbed Madinah Lakes, will be centered around a $15 million mosque and feature a mix of housing types and businesses. However, the controversial project has hit a setback after opposition by the city of Lino Lakes, where the development has been proposed. Officials have voted to enact a moratorium on the development which will stall any construction for year. Opponents have raised concerns about population density and whether the land can support so much development. However, Yussuf and supporters of the project claim that the opposition is motivated by Islamophobia. This argument has reared its head again after some locals began raising questions about Yussuf’s background, which includes a conviction for fraud.” Read more.
