When the Islamic nations surrounding Israel gather together against Jerusalem they will all be saying, “Peace and Security” is at hand. And they’ll be right. The Times of Israel – “Israel’s foreign minister accused United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres of supporting Palestinian terror group Hamas, called for his resignation, and said his tenure as head of the world body was ‘a danger to world peace,’ in a furious reaction on Wednesday to Guterres’ letter urging an immediate ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas and his invocation of a rare clause in the UN charter to urge Security Council intervention.

Eli Cohen said Guterres’ call for a ceasefire in the two-month war in Gaza, sparked by Hamas’s October 7 atrocities in southern Israel, ‘constitutes support’ for the Palestinian terror organization and was ‘an endorsement of the murder of the elderly, the abduction of babies, and the rape of women.’ …

Guterres has repeatedly called for a ceasefire in the unfolding war, and on Wednesday he wrote to the 15-member Security Council under Article 99 of the UN Charter for the first time since he took the helm of the 193-member world body in 2017. It is also the first time any secretary-general has made use of it since 1989. Up to 10 thousand Islamic “mujahideen” fighters from Yemen are reportedly on the march to storm Israel’s borders. It could all be for show and I’m doubtful that Saudi Arabia will grant them passage, but this is a foreshadow to a much larger march coming soon. Keep an eye on Turkey and the Euphrates River over the next few years. If Turkey decides to close the dams of an already dwindling Euphrates, it’s a good sign we’ll soon be witness to a flood of 200 million fighters marching en masse for the cause of Allah to usher in their own demonic version of “judgment day” …

The Times Of Israel – “An Israeli strike was behind an explosion at an arms depot in Yemen’s capital Sana’a, controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels, Saudi media reported Friday.

Missiles targeted the site Thursday, where drones and precision missiles are stored, the Saudi-owned Al-Hadath news network reported. The Israel Defense Forces have not commented on the matter.

The Wall Street Journal – “Israel’s intelligence services are preparing to kill Hamas leaders around the world when the nation’s war in the Gaza Strip winds down, setting the stage for a yearslong campaign to hunt down militants responsible for the Oct. 7 massacres, Israeli officials said.

With orders from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s top spy agencies are working on plans to hunt down Hamas leaders living in Lebanon, Turkey and Qatar, the small Gulf nation that has allowed the group to run a political office in Doha for a decade, the officials said.

The assassination campaign would be an extension of Israel’s decadeslong clandestine operations that have become the subject of both Hollywood legend and worldwide condemnation. Israeli assassins have hunted Palestinian militants in Beirut while dressed as women, and killed a Hamas leader in Dubai while disguised as tourists. Israel has used a car bomb to assassinate a Hezbollah leader in Syria and a remote-controlled rifle to kill a nuclear scientist in Iran, according to former Israeli officials.

FOX News – “You may be surprised, but Hamas does not call for only killing Jews and eliminating Israel.

If you are Christian, a member of another religion or even participate in your local Rotary club or the Lions, Hamas also considers you an enemy, too.

It says that the duty of every Muslim is ‘Jihad,’ that ‘there is no solution to the Palestinian question except through Jihad,’ and says ‘the Jews will not be pleased with thee, neither the Christians,’ until they follow the ways of Hamas.

MEMRI – “Following the November 11, 2023 joint meeting in Riyadh of the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Pakistani commentators expressed dismay that the heads of the states and governments of Islamic countries who attended the meeting failed to submit any credible plan against Israel or to help the Palestinians in Gaza.

According to a statement on the OIC website, the Arab and Islamic leaders adopted a resolution, which among other things, mandated that the general secretariats of the OIC and the League of Arab States ‘establish two specialized legal monitoring units to document all the crimes of the occupation authorities in the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023 and to prepare evidence on the Israeli violations’ and demanded ‘that all countries stop exporting weapons and ammunitions to the occupation authorities that are used by their army and terrorist settlers to kill the Palestinian people and destroy their homes, hospitals, schools, mosques…’ The statement did not mention Hamas.

Reacting to the joint resolution, Pakistani columnists – Mirza Ishtiaq Baig writing in the Urdu daily Roznama Jang and Lt.-Gen. (retd.) Talat Masood in the English-language daily The Express Tribune – accused the Islamic and Arab leaders of ‘merely giving speeches.’ This report will review excerpts from their columns.

Following are excerpts from Mirza Ishtiaq Baig’s article, as translated from Urdu:

… ‘Muslims all over the world faced severe disappointment when the joint emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League in the past few days turned out to be a mere sit-in …’

‘… all leaders failed to take any economic or political action or any tough decision against Israeli actions in Gaza, and division prevailed among them. Later, in the joint declaration, Israel’s claim that it was launching attacks on Gaza in self-defense was rejected, while a demand was made for the United States and Europe to cease providing weapons to Israel and for the United Nations Security Council to pass a decisive resolution to prevent Israeli aggression.’

‘The frustration over the fruitless meeting of the OIC can be gauged from the statement of the Deputy Secretary General of Hamas, Muhammad Al-Hindi, in which he said: ‘We had no expectations from the emergency meetings of the OIC and the Arab League, nor did we have any hope from these meetings because we have been seeing the results of such meetings for many years.’

‘… Among the leaders of Islamic countries, the speeches of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi were appreciated by Muslims…’

‘Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who visited Saudi Arabia for the first time in March after improving relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, said that Israel is committing the worst crimes in the history of the world in Gaza, and the world of Islam should unite for an immediate solution to the problem…’

Following is an excerpt from Lt.-Gen. (ret.) Talat Masood’s article, originally in English:

‘… ‘The tacit, unbridled support of the U.S. has encouraged Israel to defy international opinion and commit crimes against humanity. But Israel rulers will be naïve and short-sighted if they fail to recognize the hard reality that they are surrounded by Muslim-majority countries where the broad masses consider Israel the aggressor and usurper of lands. The U.S. and Western support can go that far but eventually justice and human rights will prevail…'” Read more.

The world bore witness to the miraculous rebirth of Israel and the regathering of the Jewish people from the four corners of the earth to their ancestral home, to a land they would finally restore and dwell in safely in the aftermath of WWII and the genocide of over 60% of all Jews in Europe. Students of Biblical eschatology recognize this as modern day Turkey. As the stage sets for its coming fulfillment, Turkey is already issuing threats and “making preparations.” But as the leader of Turkey vows to end the Jewish state, he has no idea whatsoever that the only end he foresees is not Israel’s, but his own …

FOX News – “Turkey’s rhetoric and positions on the Israel-Hamas war have paved the way for closer ties with Iran, which both nations will explore as they seek to resolve long-standing issues.

‘Compartmentalization has long been the name of the game for the Iran-Turkey relationship under the Islamic Republic and AKP, respectively,’ Behnam Ben Taleblu, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital. Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan is the chairman of the AKP political party.

The EU – which Turkey aspires to join – has said it is in ‘complete disagreement’ with Erdogan’s stance on Hamas. The US, EU and UK consider the group a terrorist organisation.
