As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Security Cabinet weigh the timing for a preemptive military strike on Iran, they are assessing many pieces of data. Among them: Are international negotiations, economic sanctions, and covert attacks slowing down Iran’s efforts to enrich enough uranium to build the Bomb, or not? What are Israel’s options to deny them the Bomb, other than full-scale, all-out war? Will the U.S. stand with Israel — or abandon Israel — if Netanyahu orders a preemptive strike?

In this context, two pieces of data should be carefully considered:

1. ‘Iran is believed to be further increasing its uranium enrichment capacity at its Fordow plant buried deep underground, Western diplomats say, in another sign of Tehran defying international demands to curb its disputed nuclear programme,’ Reuters reported Thursday.

2. ‘In recent months, Iranian regime spokesmen have conducted a campaign of statements regarding Iran’s intent to enrich uranium for use in nuclear-fueled ships and submarines – the latter a patently military use of nuclear power,’ reported the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) last month. ‘Regime officials, regime dailies, and websites close to the regime issued no fewer than 12 such statements, in which they declared Iran’s intent to enrich uranium for nuclear fuel to power both surface sea craft and submarines. It should be noted that while nuclear fuel for surface craft entails uranium enrichment of 50-60%, nuclear-powered submarines require enrichment of 90%, which is the same level needed for the production of a nuclear bomb. From its inception, this campaign of statements was meant as a counterargument to heightened Western sanctions. The regime said that in the face of sanctions restricting its use of oil, Tehran had no choice but to develop an alternative source of energy to fuel commercial transport, in order to maintain its ties with the world. However, in what would seem a strategic error, regime spokesmen in their statements conflated nuclear fuel for surface vessels for use in trade, with nuclear fuel for submarines which are categorically designated for military use, not civilian use. For this reason, after realizing that these statements had exposed Tehran’s intentions to attain the 90% enrichment needed for a nuclear bomb, the Iranian regime has over the past month issued no further declarations regarding nuclear submarines. Moreover, several regime spokesmen backed down from the declarations, stating that Iran has no need at this stage for uranium enriched beyond 20%, and that the country is nonetheless capable of higher enrichment.'”

Fox News – “Federal authorities arrested a Bangladeshi national Wednesday morning for allegedly plotting to blow up a Federal Reserve building in New York City’s lower Manhattan, mere blocks away from the site of the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001.

The 21-year-old suspect, Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis, attempted to detonate what he thought was a 1,000-pound bomb in front of the Fed building on Liberty Street, but the device was a fake supplied to him by undercover FBI agents who had been tracking his activity, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force said Wednesday afternoon.

The supposed explosives posed no threat to the public, the FBI said.

A criminal complaint accuses Nafis of having overseas connections to Al Qaeda and travelling to the U.S. in January to recruit individuals to form a terrorist cell and conduct an attack on American soil. But one of Nafis’ potential recruits was an FBI source, who alerted authorities, the FBI said.

A federal law enforcement official told Fox News that there was no evidence Nafis was directed by Al Qaeda to carry out this attack, though he appears to have thought he was working for the terrorist group.

At one point, according to criminal complaint, Nafis told undercover agents: ‘I don’t want something that’s like, small. I just want something big. Something very big … that will shake the whole country, that will make America, not one step ahead, change of policy, and make one step ahead, for the Muslims … that will make us one step closer to run the whole world.’

A U.S. official told Fox News that President Obama was Nafis’ first target, but the criminal complaint only refers to ‘a high-ranking official.’ The complaint also mentions the New York Stock Exchange as a proposed target.

The FBI cites a written statement obtained from Nafis in which he said he wanted to ‘destroy America’ and determined that the best way to achieve that goal was to target the economy. He also referenced quotes from ‘our beloved Sheikh Osama bin Laden.'” Read more.

Don’t expect to see Muslim teachers loyal to an Islamic ideology — the very ideology that inspired Hitler and the “Final Solution” — teaching students the truth any time soon about what happened to the Jewish people during WWII. Because to present the Holocaust to young Muslim students as an atrocity and crime against humanity that should have never happened would be counterproductive to the teachings of the Qur’an and the Islamist agenda, one they believe to be divinely appointed by Allah himself to finish what Hitler started …

By Elhanan Miller, Times of Israel – “Rumors of a UN decision to re-introduce Holocaust studies in schools run by UNRWA — the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees — have raised the ire of Jordanian teachers, who say they will refuse to teach history that ‘harms the Palestinian cause.’

In a statement issued Monday, the Executive Committee of UNRWA teachers in Jordan responded to rumors that Holocaust studies would be reintroduced this year to the enrichment curriculum on conflict resolution, which is taught in schools operated by the UN agency in Palestinian refugee camps.

‘We condemn this decision, which equates the butcher and the victim,’ read the teachers’ statement, demanding instead to introduce classes on the Palestinian ‘right of return’ to Israel and the history of the 1948 war with Israel.

Some 2 million Palestinian refugees are registered with UNRWA’s Jordan offices. The UN agency operates 172 schools in 10 refugee camps across the kingdom, serving a total of over 122,000 students.

Last year, the association of UNRWA employees endorsed a decision to ban the introduction of Holocaust studies in UNRWA schools, Jordanian daily Al-Ghad reported Tuesday, a decision the teachers said was still binding.

‘We shall monitor the curriculum being taught under the title ‘concepts of human rights’ [which is] aimed at reducing [Palestinian] students’ awareness of the right of return,’ read the statement.

‘Teaching UNRWA students about the so-called ‘Holocaust’ as part of human rights harms the Palestinian cause… and changes the students’ views regarding their main enemy, namely the Israeli occupation.'” Read more.

Al-Dawla, an aide to President Mohammed Morsi, issued the call during a speech he delivered Monday at a conference on ‘Camp David and its Impact on Egypt’s National Security.’ The presidential adviser said that in its current form, the historic treaty maintains the national security of the ‘Zionist enemy’ more than it helps Egypt’s national security.

The Cairo government aide claimed that amending the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel is important to help restore Egyptian control over the lawless Sinai Peninsula, where terrorists have established training and operational bases from which to carry out attacks against Israel — and sometimes against Egyptian and Jordanian citizens and interests as well. The Egyptian natural gas pipeline has been attacked and natural gas supplies to both Jordan and Israel were disrupted due to terrorist sabotage from the Sinai no less than 15 times in a little over a year.

Al-Dawla was quoted last month by the independent Dostor daily newspaper as saying he was soon present Morsi with a proposal to amend the 1979 treaty, based on ‘popular demand and a strategic and security need.’…

By Al-Masry Al-Youm, Egypt Independent – “Jama’a al-Islamiya hinted Friday that it may be willing to resort to violence in order to see Sharia adopted in the latest draft of the constitution from the Constituent Assembly.

The group called on Egyptians to collect funds for what it described as a battle against ‘secularists and liberals.’

Jama’a al-Islamiya leader Mohamed Salah is a member of the Jurisprudence Commission for Rights and Reform, which is comprised of a number of Islamist figures, including Khairat al-Shater, deputy supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Salah said during a conference in the Ain Shams neighborhood that Egyptians should ‘support Islamic Sharia in the Egyptian constitution,’ and that ‘Jama’a al-Islamiya will fight for the application of God’s law, even if that requires bloodshed.’

He called on Islamist movements to organize mass demonstrations to ‘trap secularists inside the place where the Constituent Assembly holds its meetings, so that everyone knows that the people want an Islamist [state].’

He also demanded that President Mohamed Morsy issue a decree to ‘defeat the schemes of liberals to reject the law of God.’

He stressed that the referendum on the constitution in its current form is forbidden by Islam, calling on the Egyptian people to ‘[wage] jihad and fight in support of Sharia.'” Read more.

Gulf Times – “Al Quds (Jerusalem) and its holy mosque are being desecrated and violated daily by the Israeli Jews, so Muslims and Arabs should hurry to its support, Islamic scholar Dr Sheikh Yousuf al-Qaradawi urged yesterday.

In his Friday sermon at Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque, he recalled that ‘when a Jew burned a small portion of a pulpit of Al Aqsa mosque back in 1969, all Muslims and Arabs of the world hurried to create what came to be known as the Organisation of the Islamic Conference to deal with the issue’.

‘However, now many excavations are being undertaken by Israel under the holy mosque and attacks have become a regular occurrence and yet Muslims are unaware of what is going on,’ Qaradawi exclaimed.

He urged all Muslims and Arabs to unite and adopt the cause of Al Quds and Al Aqsa. He also called on ‘all honourable and free people’ in the world to support such a cause…

Qaradawi praised the stand of Turkey when it ordered on Thursday a Syria-bound aircraft coming from Russia to be grounded and searched. He noted that Turkey had found weapons and military experts on the plane.

‘Russia has become the first enemy of Islam and Muslims because it has stood against the Syrian people; more than 30,000 Syrians have been killed by the weapons supplied by Russia,’ Qaradawi said.” Read more.

WND – “A man whose sources inside Iran have revealed the existence of a special underground operation where scientists are working on nuclear bomb components says the world needs to be watching closely, because Iranians believe war is near.

The comments come from Reza Kahlili, a pseudonym for a former CIA operative in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and author of the award-winning book ‘A Time to Betray.’ He currently serves on the Task Force on National and Homeland Security and the advisory board of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran.

He recently revealed in an exclusive WND report that a source said Iran would agree to a temporary halt to uranium enrichment before next month’s U.S. election in a move to save Barack Obama’s presidency.

The source, who remains unamed for security reasons, said a three-person delegation of the Obama administration, led by a woman, engaged in secret negotiations with a representative of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The delegation urged the Iranian leader to announce a halt to enrichment, even if temporary, before the Nov. 6 election, promising removal of some sanctions.

The source said the delegation warned that a Mitt Romney presidency would change the U.S. relationship with Iran regarding its nuclear program.

The U.S. representatives reminded the Iranians that President Obama has stood in front of Israel, preventing the Jewish state from attacking Iran over its illicit nuclear arms policy.

In a subsequent exclusive WND report, Kahlili revealed that his sources had confirmed that Iranian scientists are nearing completion of a nuclear warhead, having already successfully tested an implosion system and neutron detonator at a secret site while enriching uranium to weapons grade.
