By Soeren Kern, Gatestone Institute – “Protests over an American-made anti-Islamic YouTube film, Innocence of Muslims, have spread to Europe. Muslim rioters have clashed with police in several European cities, and more demonstrations are being planned. The protests are part of widespread anger across the Muslim world about the amateur film, which ridicules Islam and depicts the Muslim Prophet Mohammed as a fraud, a madman and a sexual deviant.

Muslims in many European countries are calling on governments to outlaw the controversial film. They are also pressing elected officials to enact anti-blasphemy laws that would criminalize the criticism of Islam. As most European countries lack American-like First Amendment protections, the momentum is building for the imposition of legal curbs on free speech when such speech is perceived to be offensive to Islam.

In Belgium, police using pepper spray and batons arrested more than 200 Muslims in the northern city of Antwerp after clashes at a demonstration against the film. The protest in the Borgerhout district of the city was organized by an Islamic fundamentalist group called Sharia4Belgium. The protest was organized via a text message which read: ‘We are ready to work with our souls and hearts to fight for our beloved prophet, even if death comes to meet us. Whoever has love for the Prophet must be present.’ In Brussels, police arrested more than 30 individuals who participated in two separate protests — one in the Sint-Joost-ten-Node district, and another one in downtown Brussels near the American embassy.

In Britain, some 300 Muslims protested in central London outside the American Embassy. The crowd included many radical Muslims associated with the hardline group, Hizb ut-Tahrir; they shouted slogans and held placards, saying, ‘America — Get Out of Muslim Lands.’ The gathering, which consisted mostly of men but also some women and children, listened to speakers who condemned the film, U.S. foreign policy and the ‘oppression’ of Muslims.

In France, police in Paris arrested 152 Muslims for taking part in an unauthorized, impromptu protest on September 15 at the Place de la Concorde near the American Embassy; there were a number of clashes, with four police officers hurt.

French Interior Minister Manuel Valls said he would prevent any further anti-American demonstrations sparked by the anti-Islam film. ‘I have issued instructions so that this does not happen again,’ Valls told France 2 television. ‘These protests are forbidden. Any incitement to hatred must be fought with the greatest firmness.’ Valls also said that among the roughly 250 protesters, there were some groups that ‘advocate radical Islam.’

AFP – “WASHINGTON: A Salafist cleric in Egypt is calling for the deaths of all those involved in the making of an anti-Muslim film that has outraged the Islamic world, SITE Intelligence Group said on Monday.

In a statement, the terrorism monitoring service said Ahmad Fouad Ashoush issued his fatwa, or religious edict, against the cast and crew of ‘Innocence of Muslims’ via jihadist internet forums over the weekend.

‘Those bastards who did this film are belligerent disbelievers,’ Ashoush said, according to SITE’s translation of the lengthy Arabic statement.

‘I issue a fatwa and call on the Muslim youth in America and Europe to do this duty, which is to kill the director, the producer and the actors and everyone who helped and promoted the film,’ he said.

‘So, hurry, hurry, O Muslim youth in America and Europe, and teach those filthy lowly ones a lesson that all the monkeys and pigs in America and Europe will understand. May Allah guide you and grant you success.’

In an allusion to police crackdowns on protests against the film, the cleric also denounced an unspecified ‘hypocritical group … busy breaking demonstrations’ and apologizing to Washington for the unrest.” Read more.

Hezbollah Warns Of ‘Very Dangerous’ Global Repercussions, Anti-Mohammed Filmmaker and Family Go Into Hiding – “Hizbollah warned of ‘very dangerous’ global repercussions if an anti-Islam film is released in its entirety, as a fatwa was issued against the film’s producer who has gone into hiding with his family… An eruption of Muslim anger over a trailer of the American-made film that appeared on the internet has spread across the world, taking hold Monday in Afghanistan, Indonesia, the West Bank, the Philippines and Yemen.” Read more.

Flashback: Egypt: Rising Islamic Leader Declares ‘We Will Launch a Campaign of Islamic Conquest Throughout the World’, ‘Exterminate’ Christians Who Get In the Way of Sharia – “A rising leader in the radical Islamic movement in Egypt that has become a major political player since the demise of Hosni Mubarak’s regime says Christian churches may need to be blown up and Christians exterminated to allow the advance of Islamic law, or Shariah. Revelation 6:8, “And I looked, and behold a ‘chlōros [green]’ horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the ‘thērion [brutal, savage men]’ of the earth.”

I’ve said it before, but in light of recent events it needs to be said again. In Revelation 6:8 John describes the “fourth horseman” as being “chlōros”, literally translated as “green”. Green is the official color of Islam. He is described as having power over the fourth part of the earth. Islam today has dominion over a fourth part of the earth. He has the power to “kill with sword.” Islam is spread through Jihad, the “Sword of Islam.”  He also kills with hunger/famine. When Islamists rise up, deprivation often follows. He kills with “death”, and the love of death in suicide operations for the cause of “Allah” permeates Islamic culture, so much that Islamists openly declare to “love death more than you love life.” Lastly, he is described as killing with “the beasts of the earth.” The Greek word “thērion” here is, I believe, being used metaphorically to refer to “savage”, “brutal” and “bestial” men — a perfect description of what we’re witnessing today in the radical world of Islam’s death seekers …

It’s mobs of violent savages ransacking embassies while their suited brethren use it to explain to our decadent leaders that the only way we will have peace is if we let them decide what sections of the Bill of Rights we get to keep.

Forget the UN, the Post-American order isn’t a blue flag, it’s a black flag with Mohammed on it. There are far more people in the world who believe in a world order based on the violent ravings of a 7th Century madman than the number of people who believe in a world order based on 19th Century European wishful thinking. And it helps that the supporters of 7th Century violence over 19th Century internationalism are far more willing to use murderous violence to get their way.

The burning embassies and authorities scurrying to intimidate the Mohammed filmmaker into making some kind of apology or going to jail, as their British predecessors bullied Salman Rushdie into doing, reveal the naked order of the new world. It isn’t a place of treaties or laws, but of naked force and we will not be the ones doing the forcing.

In the new world order we will cower behind our televisions while the global mob, composed of whoever has the most surviving kids living on international handouts, will tell us what laws they want us to live under. And those will not be tolerant laws, they will not protect women or gays, let alone minority religions, they will be the laws of the violent majority, not that of the Christians or Buddhists, or the tinier numbers of Jews or Atheists, they will be the laws of Islam, because Muslims are willing to do what they aren’t, go out into the streets and kill to establish those laws.

Let us dispense with any pretense that if we do criminalize defamation of religion or prosecute Mohammed cartoons as a hate crime, that this will be because we are tolerant or respect religion. It will be because we are afraid of Muslims and we are right to be afraid of Muslims because our leaders are gutless cowards who have no idea how to deal with anyone whose greatest fear in life isn’t being called a racist on the evening news.

And let us dispense with the pretense that the growing internationalism is humane, rational or orderly. It is nothing of the sort, it is a mob of savages that kills to convey its demands to the officials who pretend to be running a humane and rational world order and uses them as its mouthpiece. When our enlightened leaders lecture us on offending Muslims, they are acting as the interpreters for bearded thugs who believe that Jinns are around every corner, that angels are afraid of cats and that women are inferior creatures because Mohammed went down to hell and found it full of women.” Read more.

Forghani has also previously penned articles that laid out the legal and religious justification for the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of its people, as well as the right of Islamic Iran to obtain the nuclear bomb.

Forghani said that former U.S. National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, in his recent article ‘Changes in the Gulf,’ stated that the U.S. should pursue a broad strategy of engagement, containment and deterrence toward Iran. Such a strategy, Forghani argued, shows that the ’84-year-old Brzezinski has lost his reasoning’ and ignores Iran’s strategy of confrontation.

The Islamic government has pursued confrontation on political, military, economic and cultural fronts with America, Forghani said and referred to a statement by Khamenei, whom he refers to as Imam: ‘As long as the United States refuses to end its evil behaviors, negotiations and establishing relations with it is a dead end.’

Therefore, engagement, containment and deterrence by America, Forghani said, ‘are indeed vain dreams of insane Americans.’
