Washington Free Beacon – “A teacher with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reportedly held an Israeli hostage taken captive by Hamas on Oct. 7 in an attic.

The teacher, a father of 10 children, kept the hostage for almost 50 days, barely provided food, and neglected the hostage’s medical needs, Israeli Channel 13’s Almog Boker reported Wednesday. A Gazan doctor also held another hostage, according to Boker.

A spokeswoman for the UNRWA acknowledged the allegations but declined to comment.

There have been multiple reports of Gazan civilian involvement in Hamas’s military operations. One Israeli hostage, 25-year-old Roni Krivoi, broke free from his Hamas captors for four days before Gazan civilians recaptured him and brought him back to the terrorists.

The Washington Free Beacon reported last month that a number of civilians followed Hamas terrorists into Israel to join in the attacks.

This is also not the first time UNRWA has come under fire for its employees’ alleged support for Hamas. Earlier this month, the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education reported that 13 UNRWA employees, 7 of them teachers, celebrated Hamas’s Oct. 7 attacks, an allegation the agency denied.” Source.

There were numerous civilians under Nazi Germany who saved thousands of Jews during WWII. They’re honored as Righteous Among The Nations today. But if the media asked for a single Palestinian civilian who tried to save even one Jew on October 7th to please stand up, they’d quickly discover a civilian population seemingly too busy prostrating toward their stone idol in Mecca to care. Sure, the IDF-blackened eyes of Hamas are still able to keep watch, but let’s remember that Gaza is home to a population that is 99% Muslim, every one of whom is inculcated into a religious system where Jews must be slaughtered, not saved, where Jewish communities must be pillaged and plundered, not protected. As it stands, saving Jewish lives is anathema to Islamic jurisprudence and an affront to the “prophet” of Islam, whom they must follow lest they suffer eternal damnation. And Gazans are reminded of this daily by their own media, evidenced by the fact that an overwhelming majority of Palestinians polled recently support the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th. This — and the fact that one hostage known to have escaped temporarily was subsequently handed back over to Hamas by Palestinian civilians — tells us everything we need to know about the poisonous predispositions that Islam has produced, not just within Hamas and the Gazan civilian population, but within Islamic society as a whole …

The Algemeiner – “Families of hostages seized by the Hamas terror group on Oct. 7 experienced a mix of relief and anxiety at a rally marking ’50 days of hell’ on Saturday night as they grappled with the bittersweet reality of the release of some hostages while many others remained in captivity, amid multiple delays on the part of Hamas.

Speakers at the rally, which drew some 100,000 people to the renamed Hostage Square outside the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, called to ‘bring home all of them now.’

As of Sunday night, a total of 40 Israeli hostages were released with Hamas indicating that it was interested in extending the ceasefire. Terrorists led by Hamas abducted over 240 people during their Oct. 7 massacre across southern Israel.

Thirteen hostages, mostly from Kibbutz Be’eri, were released on Saturday some six hours after the 4 pm deadline after Hamas accused Israel of short-changing on the promised delivery of fuel and humanitarian aid — a claim that was denied by the International Committee of the Red Cross — and releasing the wrong Palestinian security prisoners in exchange.

Be’eri resident Nir Shani, whose son, Amit, turned 16 in captivity, was not surprised by the delay.

‘It’s not unexpected, sadly. It would’ve been weird if it would have gone smoothly as planned. It was obviously going to happen,’ Shani told The Algemeiner.

Shani further said he wasn’t surprised by the Oct. 7 massacre perpetrated by Hamas.

‘They did exactly what they said they would do if they got the chance. We’ve seen it before,’ he said, pointing to terror attacks against Jews even before the founding of the state.

Shani’s views stand in sharp contrast with those of other members of his kibbutz, who maintain that a peaceful resolution to the conflict — likely in the form of two states — is still possible.

He also refused to extend clemency to the Palestinian population in Gaza as being innocent.

‘I don’t make a distinction between them and Hamas. We’ve all heard about the righteous among the nations in the Holocaust. Tell me of one Palestinian who tried to save one Jew after Oct. 7,’ he said.” Read more.

Breitbart – “The aunt of an Israeli child hostage recently freed by Hamas as part of a deal with Israel told French television that the terrorists had beaten the children, forced them to watch videos of atrocities at gunpoint, and threatened them with guns when they cried.

Deborah Cohen, the aunt of Eitan Yahalomi, 12, who is a dual French-Israeli citizen, told French TV outlet BFMTV on Tuesday (translated from French): ‘Eitan apparently saw horrors over there [in Gaza]. … Hamas forced Eitan to watch a horror film [of October 7], that no one could [bear to] watch … Every time that a child cried over there, they threatened [the child] with a gun to be quiet.’ She added that child hostages had been beaten when they arrived in Gaza after being kidnapped by Hamas.

Eitan Yahalomi was abducted during the October 7 terror attack from Kibbutz Nir Oz, along with his father Ohad, who remains a hostage. Nir Oz was one of the hardest hit communities in the attack, with a quarter of the population murdered or kidnapped as hostages. All of the eleven Israeli hostages released in the fourth and final planned release Monday were women and children who were separated from their husbands and fathers, who are still being held as hostages in Gaza by the terrorist organization.” Read more.

For the last 18 years there hasn’t been a single Israeli living in Gaza. The government of Israel PM Ariel Sharon unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in August of 2005 (even though Israel has a legal right to ALL of Gaza that was captured from Egypt in 1967 according to Article 51 of the UN Charter). Despite these inconvenient facts, Israel’s “partners in peace” are defending Gaza’s brutal terrorizing of entire communities and the slaughtering of defenseless little children as “self-defense.” Because, you know, those Jews are “occupying” Palestinian land. Hamas militants hell-bent on fiery destruction may have been able to paraglide their way over the borders on October 7th, but their sophistry isn’t gonna fly when they stand before Almighty God staring into the abyss of everlasting hellfire …

Palestinian Media Watch – “One of the Palestinian female terrorist prisoners who has been released in exchange for 26 Israeli hostages who had been held captive by Hamas in Gaza since they were brutally taken from their homes on Oct. 7, is hoping for more kidnappings ‘to empty the prisons.’

Welcomed by a crowd of cheering Palestinians after her release, terrorist Hanan Barghouti praised Hamas – ‘the resistance’ – for her freedom, thereby blessing their terror attack on Israel on Oct. 7 and the taking of over 200 hostages. She implicitly called for more kidnappings when she expressed hope that ‘the resistance will release all the female prisoners, and will empty the prisons’ …” Read more.

Evidently, blood-thirsty terrorists now want more “food trucks” in northern Gaza for their hungry stomachs for peaceful civilian purposes. Hamas has been losing the physical war badly, now they’re engaging in psychological warfare. Naturally, they blame Israel of course (after having already violated the truce themselves 15 minutes into it with rockets fired toward Israel). Even after Israel had already allowed 200 trucks into the strip as required by the deal, Hamas is busy scrambling to find more fake excuses to distract, delay and deceive. Perhaps they’re trying to give Israel an excuse to attack them again so that they can claim to the world that Israel were the ones who broke the agreement. Stay tuned …

Update 1: Ceasefire may be on the brink of collapse. Israeli officials now say that if the second group of hostages are not freed by midnight Israel time the IDF will resume ground operations in Gaza.

Update 2: Deal back on. “Israeli sources said the release of 13 more Israeli hostages will be completed on Saturday after Palestinian terror group Hamas delayed the deal, calling for Israel to allow more food trucks into the Northern Gaza Strip, according to Israeli media. There is immense pressure behind the scenes on Hamas coming from Qatar, urging them to adhere to the planned ceasefire, according to N12.” Read more.

Nordic Monitor – “The Turkish government’s Religious Affairs Directorate, or Diyanet, a multi-billion dollar organization with nearly 150,000 personnel overseeing approximately 90,000 mosques in Turkey and abroad, has aligned itself with Hamas amid the conflict in Gaza.

After multiple public and private meetings with Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and Hamas clerics since October 7, when Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigade fighters launched a surprise attack on Israeli targets, the Diyanet appears to have adopted a policy that reflects an anti-Israel religious edict (fatwa) issued by top MB clerics and their Palestinian affiliates.

The resolution adopted at the end of the 43rd Consultative Meeting of Provincial Muftis (İl Müftüleri İstişare Toplantısı) on November 16 was the culmination of efforts spearheaded by the Diyanet. Essentially echoing the talking points of the Muslim Brotherhood network, it emphasized that the Diyanet had mobilized all its resources and personnel to aid Palestinians. The resolution further called for a halt to all direct or indirect assistance to Israel.

The resolution asserted, ‘Gaza, Jerusalem and Palestine are matters of faith and dignity for Muslims,’ highlighting that ‘remaining indifferent to the atrocities and genocide committed by Zionists in Gaza, providing direct or indirect support to the oppressors, is a significant moral burden and an unforgivable crime against humanity.’

During a speech delivered at the meeting, Diyanet President Ali Erbaş, appointed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, issued a religious edict stating that it was forbidden for Muslims to support any country that stands by Israel. ‘Remaining indifferent to oppression and injustice, staying silent in the face of tyrants and traitors, is directly or indirectly supporting oppressors, occupiers, terrorists and killers. Supporting those who support them is also forbidden.’

The Diyanet, initially established by the Turkish state to counteract radicalism, has undergone a fundamental transformation during Erdogan’s 22-year rule, evolving into a significant instrument for propagating political Islam, reminiscent of the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood, both within Turkey and internationally…

The Diyanet’s alignment with Hamas and support for Palestinian militants in their attacks on Israeli civilians and military targets is no exception to the policy pursued by the Erdogan government.

In the November 16 meeting, the top government imam also revealed that the religious directorate had made a decision to boycott companies supporting Israel and called on the Turkish people to participate in this boycott…” Read more

Jihad Watch – “On Tuesday, Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown announced that he has temporarily suspended Zainab Chuadry’s membership from the new Commission on Hate Crimes Response and Prevention.

WMAR-2 News reached out last week with the screenshots in this article to the OAG press office for a comment. A spokesperson for the office told us that email was what made them aware of the “personal social media posts by a member of the Commission.”

The Commission is brand new and has only held its first meeting in mid-September.

Chaudry was representing the Council on American-Islamic Relations, an important voice for Muslim Marylanders in the effort to fight hate crimes.

Following the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack in Southern Israel, Chaudry publicly posted the following to her personal Facebook account, which we have taken screenshots of.

The precise number of people killed in the initial attack that prompted this war, is unknown, but CNN has the numbers as more than 1,200. More than 200 people were taken by Hamas, according to CNN.

Israel’s response to the attack was a bombardment of air strikes in the Gaza strip, and later a ground invasion, which as of November 21 has killed at least 4,100 children and more than 12,000 people including adults, per CNN.
