JPost – “Hezbollah could attack Europe at any time and with little to no warning, US State Department’s counter-terrorism coordinator Daniel Benjamin said Friday according to AFP, shortly after the US Treasury announced a fresh round of economic sanctions against the Lebanon-based terrorist group.

‘Our assessment is that Hezbollah and Iran will both continue to maintain a heightened level of terrorist activity and operations in the near future,’ Benjamin said at a conference call with reporters. ‘Hezbollah maintains a presence in Europe and its recent activities demonstrate that it is not constrained by concerns about collateral damage or political fallout that could result from conducting operations there… We assess that Hezbollah could attack in Europe or elsewhere at any time with little or no warning.’ …

Benjamin warned that Hezbollah could become increasingly violent as international sanctions threaten Syria and Iran, its patron-states. ‘Hezbollah believes there have been sustained Israeli and western campaigns against the group and its primary backers Iran and Syria over the past several years and this perception is unlikely to change. Both remain determined to exact revenge against Israel and to respond forcefully to the Western-led pressure against Iran and Syria,’ he said.

Though dispelling fears that Hezbollah could be active in the United States, Benjamin said that the group has ‘stepped up terrorist campaign around the world.’

‘It’s a very ambitious group with global reach,’ he said.” Read more.

Flashback: A Significant Number Of Hezbollah Sympathizers And Terror Cells Are At Work In The US – “A preliminary report issued by the U. S. House Committee on Homeland Security estimates that there could be ‘hundreds, maybe even thousands’ of Hezbollah agents operating in the United States and specifically in New York City. The report issued following last month’s hearings says that the exact number of operatives is hard to determine. ‘Pinning down a reliable estimate of the number of Hezbollah operatives who now reside inside the U.S. is difficult because of their operational security expertise,’ the report states.” Read more.

By Erick Stakelbeck – “… ‘So you believe America, Great Britain, all of Europe, will be Islamic states living under sharia?’ CBN News’ Stakelbeck asked Choudary.

‘I am convinced,’ he replied. ‘I am 100 percent certain that the sharia will be implemented in America and in Britain one day. The question is, ‘when?’ and how it will come to fruition.’

He’s unapologetic about what a society ruled by sharia would mean.

‘If people are afraid of having their hands cut, don’t steal,’ Choudary said. ‘If you don’t want to be stoned to death, don’t commit adultery. It seems to me that people want all of the vices and they want to get away with it as well. But it doesn’t work like that.’

Choudary’s vision is catching on among some Western Muslims. The group Sharia4UK has spawned at least two offshoots: Sharia4Holland and Sharia4Belgium.

There’s also Sharia4America, which Choudary said is active on U.S. soil, mainly in New York City.

‘The seeds for the call for sharia in America have been there for many decades,’ he told CBN News. ‘We have the Sharia4America project, where we present what we consider to be an alternative to democracy and freedom and the kind of life that people lead in America.’

Sharia4America is not alone. Its pro-sharia, pro-caliphate message has been echoed in recent years by a Chicago-area group called Hizb Ut-Tahrir America.

‘Ultimately, the Americans are going to be defeated,’ Choudary predicted. ‘They’re going to be defeated back home and they will be defeated militarily. And they will not get the resources. They will go from the recession and the depression into, if you like, a complete downfall.'” Read more.

Saadudin Ibrahim: “… Their plan is to turn Egypt into an Islamic emirate, which would be the seed of an Islamic caliphate, which would first encompass the Muslim world, and later the world in its entirety. Of course, in 2012, this sounds like sheer fantasy, but all the major enterprises in history began as an idea. Some of ideas died while still in the cradle, while others developed. Therefore, we should not underestimate this idea, which is harbored by the Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Egypt… The most important statement confirming this was made by Mahdi Akef, the former Muslim Brotherhood General Guide, who said: ‘To hell with Egypt.’ … The concept of a nation state is absent from the Brotherhood’s plans. They speak of a comprehensive, religious, Islamic state…”

Interviewer: “Which Islamist movement is the most dangerous to Egypt – the Muslim Brotherhood, the Salafis, the Jihadists, or others?”

Saadudin Ibrahim: “The Muslim Brotherhood… The Salafis, with their simplistic and naïve ideology, speak their minds. Therefore, we know what they are up to and how to contain it, if it’s dangerous. The Brotherhood, on the other hand, is an organization about whose leadership we know very little. We know that there is the General Guide Office, and that they conduct secretive meetings, from which no protocols are issued for public review. Such a political party does not exist in democratic countries. A politburo may have existed in Communist or totalitarian countries, in the Communist or Nazi parties…”

Hizbullah MP, Retired General Walid Sakariya: “My analysis is the following: If Iran becomes a nuclear state, the entire equation in the Middle East will change. In such a case, Syria would have to be steadfast – even if a war of attrition is waged against it – in order to accomplish this goal, because this (nuclear) weapon is meant for Syria, too, not just for Iran. The viewers should not interpret this as if Syria is serving an Iranian agenda. This nuclear weapon is meant to create a balance of terror with Israel, to finish off the Zionist enterprise, and to end all Israeli aggression against the Arab nation.”

INN – “Columnist Colbert King issued a strong warning against Iranian anti-Semitism this week in a column for the Washington Post. King, a Pulitzer prize-winning columnist, termed Iranian hatred ‘the most virulent form of state-sponsored anti-Semitism since Nazi Germany.’

Iran ‘is more than a threat to a piece of geography called Israel,’ he said. It is ‘the greatest threat to Jews to emerge in the past 70 years.’

King quoted multiple statements from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accusing ‘Zionists’ of ‘ruling the major world affairs’ to support his argument that ‘the Iranian government is as anti-Semitic as the Third Reich.’ He also noted Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi’s claims that ‘Zionists’ and the Talmud are behind the global drug trade.

The focus must not be solely on Iran’s nuclear program, he argued, but on the regime’s threat to Jews worldwide. ‘The fingerprints of Iran were found in attacks on Jews in Bulgaria, India, Thailand and Georgia,’ he stated. ‘Contending that Iran’s threat is mainly to Israel is to ignore reality, unpleasant and challenging though it may be.’

King challenged the international community to stand up against Iranian leaders’ overt anti-Semitism. ‘It is almost beyond belief that the rest of the world would hear such an outrage and look the other way,’ he argued.

Ahmadinejad recently called for Israel’s destruction again, telling ambassadors from Islamic countries that the ‘annihilation of the Zionist regime‘ would be the ‘key to solving the world problems.’ He also accused United States presidential candidates of ‘kissing the feet of the Zionist.'” Source – INN.

By Reza Kahlili – “Should any of the Iranians taken hostage by rebels in Syria be harmed, America should expect Iran’s intelligence agents to respond in kind, the Islamic regime has warned.

Forty-eight Iranians were seized Saturday in Damascus by rebels seeking to overthrow Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime. Iran claims they are pilgrims, but Abdel Nasser Shemir, a rebel commander, in an interview with the news organization Al Arabiya, charged they were members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards whose confiscated documents proved as much.

‘They are 48, in addition to an Afghani interpreter,’ Shemir said, alleging that the captives were members of a 150-strong group sent by Iran for ‘reconnaissance on the ground.’

Iran quickly blamed America, Saudi Arabia and Qatar for the kidnapping.

Hours after the abduction, Ali Larijani, the speaker of the Iranian Parliament, said that, ‘America and certain countries of the region are responsible for these crimes, and they will receive the appropriate response at the right time.’

A media outlet called ‘The Youth Reporter’s Club,’ which is run by the Revolutionary Guards intelligence unit, also blamed America for the abduction, stating that America, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are involved in the events in Syria and that Iran is ready to ‘change the proxy war into a direct confrontation on an immediate basis.'” Read more.

Tensions Rise Over Iranian Hostages – “A band of 48 Iranians being held hostage by Syria’s rebel army journeyed from Tehran on a trip organized by a travel agency owned by the elite troops who support and protect the Iranian regime, people familiar with the trip said. That connection—denied by Iran, a staunch supporter of the Assad government—suggests the hostages have strong ties to Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard Corps, as the rebels claim… ‘Everyone on this trip was either a Guard or a Basij militia. This wasn’t a regular tour group,’ said an employee of the tour agency that organized the trip, reached by telephone.” Read more.
