FOX News – “Turkey’s rhetoric and positions on the Israel-Hamas war have paved the way for closer ties with Iran, which both nations will explore as they seek to resolve long-standing issues.

‘Compartmentalization has long been the name of the game for the Iran-Turkey relationship under the Islamic Republic and AKP, respectively,’ Behnam Ben Taleblu, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital. Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan is the chairman of the AKP political party.

‘While traditionally the two non-Arab Muslim Middle Eastern powers have competed as to who can champion the Palestinian street, the post-Arab Spring Middle Eastern order has led to more opportunities for a NATO member and the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism to channel their political ire and more at Israel,’ Taleblu said.

Turkey has found itself at odds with its NATO allies, most of whom have backed Israel’s right to defend itself following the Hamas terrorist attack on Oct. 7, while Turkey has echoed the stances of other Middle Eastern nations in questioning Israel and defending the Palestinians.

Turkish President Erdogan: “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers …”

Express – “Turkey’s President Erdogan is set to launch a ‘global initiative’ to end the fighting in the Gaza Strip as his country prepares to officially proclaim Israel a war criminal, according to the pro-government newspaper Hurriyet.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan previously threw his weight behind Hamas claiming the group was ‘not a terrorist organization, but a group of freedom and mujahideen [warriors] who are striving to protect their lands and their citizens’…

The EU – which Turkey aspires to join – has said it is in ‘complete disagreement’ with Erdogan’s stance on Hamas. The US, EU and UK consider the group a terrorist organisation.

The European Commission report released Wednesday outlined ‘serious deficiencies’ in Turkey’s democratic institutions as well as ‘deterioration of human and fundamental rights’ in the country.” Read more.

Within the strong delusion of the Islamic mindset, “peace and safety” will be in sight when the world’s “mujahideen” and the military might of a vast coalition of Muslim nations surround Israel, believing they’re now on the cusp of witnessing her imminent destruction. But there’s just one MAJOR problem …
