People Were ‘Weeping and Screaming’: Muslims Attack Village in Upper Egypt and Kill Christian Farmer While Son Watched

“ISTANBUL, August 10 (CDN) — A Coptic Christian was killed and several others were injured in Upper Egypt after Muslims on Sunday (Aug. 7) attacked a predominantly Christian village following an argument between a Muslim and Christian.

The attack at Nazlet Faragallah village in Minya, 218 kilometers (136 miles) south of Cairo, lasted until Monday morning (Aug. 8), Christians said. The attackers raided an unknown number of homes owned by Christian villagers and set eight on fire, area residents said.

The assailants killed Maher Nassif, 46, a civil servant and livestock farmer, when he tried to defend his home. The men burst into Nassif’s house, shot him in the head and slit his throat while his teenage son watched from under a bed where he was hiding, Christian villagers said. The men looted the home and stole Nassif’s livestock as his son escaped into the night, according to villagers who spoke with the boy.

One villager, Melad Thabet, a 25-year-old teacher, said he spent the night of the attack listening to gunfire and the sound of people ‘weeping and screaming in the village.’

‘Any [Christian-owned] house close to a Muslim house was looted and attacked,’ Thabet told Compass. ‘And if someone had stood up to them, they would have killed them as they did with Maher.'” Read more.

Businesses and Consumers Should Brace for Years of Global Economic Uncertainty and Turmoil

The outgoing boss of the nation’s biggest bank also issued a parting shot at credit rating agencies, saying they ‘haven’t covered themselves in glory’ in the lead-up to the global financial crisis.

The comments came as CBA delivered a 12 per cent increase in full-year cash profit to a record $6.84 billion but Mr Norris said financial volatility could again push up borrowing costs.

‘I don’t think the global financial crisis is actually finished,’ Mr Norris said yesterday. ‘For Europe in particular, this is going to be a many-year workout, so we shouldn’t be surprised that as we [head] down the next few years there might be all sorts of volatile situations as has occurred over the last week or so or the last several months.'” Read more.

Israel: IDF Concerned UN Vote on Palestinian State May Lead to Tensions with Syria

By Anshel Pfeffer – “The Israel Defense Forces is readying for possible engagement with the Syrian military in September, should the latter involve itself in new attempts by Palestinians in Syria to storm the border with the Golan Heights in connection with a UN vote on recognizing a Palestinian state.

The IDF acknowledges it may be necessary to deal with Syrian military intervention in such a scenario, which could occur if Syria tried to deflect world attention from the ongoing demonstrations in that country – and their bloody suppression – by creating an incident on the border.

If such a mass infiltration results in the IDF having to shoot at the protesters, the Syrian army may send units to ‘defend Syrian citizens.’

Thus, for the first time since the Yom Kippur War, there could be a military confrontation, with the IDF being compelled to send forces to confront Syrian battalions.

Until now, the IDF assessment had been that Syrian President Bashar Assad was interested in maintaining quiet along the border.

But Assad’s domestic troubles, coupled with evidence that he had previously – in May and in June – encouraged hundreds of Palestinians to storm the border, has changed that assessment.” Read more.

No Joke: Iran Calls on the British Police to ‘Exercise Restraint’ Against Violent Protesters

The epitome of hypocrisy.  British police largely stood back initially, unable to quell the rioting, yet Iran urges ‘restraint’ and seeks ‘independent human rights organizations to investigate the killing in order to protect the civil rights and civil liberties’ of victims, notwithstanding the bloody fact that Iran — who killed scores of its own people in an effort to crush the 2009 ‘Green Revolution‘ — to this day has said nothing against Syria that is currently killing hundreds, even thousands, of protesters demanding Assad’s removal and their own civil rights.  Instead, the Iranians are bent on keeping their ally Assad in power and are even assisting his murderous killing spree against the people of Syria …

“Iran has called on the British police to exercise restraint against people protesting over the killing of a Black man in London.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast urged the British government to order the police to stop their violent confrontation with the people, IRNA reported in the early hours of Tuesday.

Mehmanparast asked the British government to start dialogue with the protesters and to listen to their demands in order to calm the situation down.

The Iranian official also asked independent human rights organizations to investigate the killing in order to protect the civil rights and civil liberties.

The unrest began on Saturday when a few hundred people gathered outside a police station in Tottenham to protest against the fatal shooting of Mark Duggan on Thursday.

The protesters also set a bus and buildings on fire on High Road and broke many shop windows.

Turmoil is now threatening to sweep across all of Britain as the unfolding mayhem and looting has also raged the central city of Birmingham, the western city of Bristol, the northwestern city of Liverpool, and south London neighborhood of Brixton.

Police said they have arrested more than 200 people since the unrest began.” Source.

UN Report: ‘Iran caught 10 times trying to send arms to terrorists’ – Iran has been caught red-handed in 10 different attempts in recent years to transfer weaponry to terrorists throughout the Middle East, including a recent case, in April, when a shipment of advanced missiles was caught en-route to Taliban forces in Afghanistan, according to a United Nations report obtained Thursday by The Jerusalem Post. The report was submitted three weeks ago to the Security Council by a UN group of experts that monitors compliance with UN sanctions imposed on Iran. The report was leaked to the Internet and obtained by a number of leading Israeli defense analysts.” Read more.

Update August 10, 2011: London riots spread to Midlands and north-west on fourth night of trouble – “Officers were fighting disturbances in Manchester and Birmingham involving hundreds of youths who set fire to shops and smashed store windows… In Birmingham, police clashed with up to 200 looters who attacked shops inside New Street station, closing off much of the city centre. Masked youths roamed the streets smashing windows and setting fire to cars. In Manchester, hundreds of masked and hooded youths gathered in Piccadilly Gardens and threw bricks at officers. A Miss Selfridge clothes shop was set alight while looters broke into a Foot Locker sports store in the Arndale Centre. Some reports said rioters were being allowed to ransack properties without police intervening. Residents claimed gangs were highly organised, with leaders warning them when to move on to avoid officers.” Read more.

Britain Burning: Police Station Firebombed as Police, Civilian Patrols Show Numbers – “The violence and arson attacks that have rattled north London since the weekend have now moved across all parts of the capital and are spreading on a smaller scale to other British cities, the first time the recent unrest has flared outside the U.K.’s capital.

The wave of rioting now entering its third day was sparked by the shooting death of 29-year-old Mark Duggan in the Tottenham section of North London on Thursday. Police have said the man had shot at them first. Angry protesters demonstrated against the fatal shooting in the multi-ethnic neighborhood on Saturday, and the march soon degenerated into chaos.

After spreading across London Monday, violence soon ignited in the British cities of Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool.

As buildings, vehicles and garbage dumps were being set ablaze, many sections of London have descended into chaos — an unsettling sight less than a year before the 2012 Olympics take over the capital. Police warn they could use plastic bullets to quell riots tonight as Cameron orders 16,000 officers to regain control of the capital – “Police today admitted they were prepared to use plastic bullets against rioters if a fourth night of lawlessness sees gangs of youths marauding across London and looting businesses. With an ‘unprecedented’ 16,000 police officers due on the streets of London tonight, answers were today being demanded over the failure of police to bring last night’s riots under control. Just hours after David Cameron warned rioters they would face the ‘full force of the law’ shops were boarding up their windows across the capital amid fears of more violence across the capital. Businesses, pubs, schools and even medical centres were sending staff home early.” Read more.

Forced to strip naked in the street: Shocking scenes as rioters steal clothes and rifle through bags as people make their way home – “This is the shocking moment a young man is apparently forced to hand over all of his clothes after appearing to be stripped naked during lawless riots overnight. Internet rumours last night claimed that on top of the widespread destruction across London and Birmingham, people were having their clothes removed by looters as police attempted to contain the criminality. Reports on Twitter claimed some people were being stripped, while another shocking video shows a bleeding teenager being robbed in broad daylight by lawless thugs who pretend to help him to his feet.” Read more.

The annihilation of native Arabic culture is Sunna, the perfect example for all times and all Muslims. Said another way, the political theory of Islam is annihilation of Kafir civilization. How well did this political theory work out in history? Is this theory of annihilation at work today?

We have records of Mohammed’s last jihad against the Christians north of Arabia. After he died, Umar, the second caliph, took Mohammed’s jihad against the Christians and developed it into a war that conquered half of the Christian world. But this conquest was only the beginning of the political transformation. Sharia law was put into place and the Christian Kafirs became dhimmis. But Umar was not able to conquer Anatolia, the site known today as Turkey. For centuries, Islam attacked Anatolia and finally took Constantinople, now known as Istanbul, Turkey.

This demographic growth chart of Islam has many things to teach us. The first is that the process of annihilation took centuries. Some people think that when Islam invaded, the Kafirs had the choice of conversion or death. No, absolutely not. Sharia law was put into place and the Christian dhimmis continued to have their “protected” status as People of the Book who lived under the Sharia law. The dhimmi paid heavy taxes, could not testify in court, hold a position of authority over Muslims and was humiliated by social rules. A dhimmi had to step aside for the Muslim, offer him his seat, could not carry a weapon and defer to a Muslim in every way. In all matters of society the dhimmi had to yield to the Muslim. Over the centuries, the degradation, lack of rights and the dhimmi tax caused the Christian to convert. It is the Sharia that destroys the dhimmis.

Notice where the curve is headed—100% Islam, just like Arabia. Today, Turkey is 99.7% Muslim. The Christian and Greek civilization of Anatolia is gone. It is annihilated.” Read more.

Nigeria: Islamists in Northern Nigeria Killing Christians to Eliminate Christianity in the Northern States

A ‘committee’ is needed to ‘investigate’ Boko Haram and to look into the ‘reasons for the violence’?  Well, investigative committee, here are just a few of many that they see every day within the pages of their Qur’an:

 Surah 5:51, “O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

Surah 3:151, “We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve…”

Surah 4:89, “Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.”

Surah 9:14, “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace …”

Surah 8:12b, “… terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.”

By Michael Ireland – “WASHINGTON, DC (ANS) — Members of a radical Islamic group, Boko Haram, have killed at least ten Christians in Maiduguri, Nigeria over the past two months in what one Christian leader is calling a ‘silent killing’ of Christians.

In an interview with International Christian Concern (ICC – http://www.persecution.org ), an anonymous local church leader explained, ‘Boko Haram is seeking to eliminate Christianity because they want Islamic (Sharia) law. They don’t want to see anything Christian in the northern states [of Nigeria]. That is why churches are being persecuted and Muslims who don’t follow the [hardline teachings of] Boko Haram are also persecuted.’

ICC says Boko Haram is close to achieving its goal of eliminating Christianity from Maiduguri.

In its latest report on the situation, ICC said: ‘Most of the Christians have fled the city in fear of further attacks by the Islamists. Of the churches that remain, some have felt compelled to suspend their services to protect their congregations.’

ICC explained that the Nigerian government, which has also been attacked by Boko Haram, deployed security forces to quell the violence, but came under sharp criticism from human rights groups for excessive use of force and the indiscriminate killing of civilians. The government of Nigeria has now established a committee to investigate the members of Boko Haram and look into the reasons for the violence.” Read more.

Egypt: Pastor Beaten and One Christian Murdered After Muslims Attack Christian Village, Loot and Torch Homes

“(AINA) — Muslims attacked Christians in the village of Nazlet Faragallah, in the southern Egyptian Minya province, on Sunday evening. The attack continued until the early hours of Monday morning, August 8. One Copt was murdered and homes were looted and torched when Muslims from Nazlet Faragallah together with Muslims from four neighboring villages started their violence at approximately 8 PM, after breaking their Ramadan fast.

According to eyewitnesses, thousands of Muslims entered the village from all sides, firing automatic weapons (mostly in the air), looting and throwing Molotov Cocktails at several homes. ‘They even destroyed our irrigation pumps,’ said one witness.

The first attack was on the house of Father Youanes, pastor of St. George Church, which lies at the head of the village. He was beaten and his home was looted and torched.

Maher Nassif Tobias (50), an employee at the local council, was murdered in his home. He was found by his son. His house was completely looted, including his livestock.

Security forces arrived 4 hours after the attack began and there were too few of them. ‘They only had batons in their hands, and were unable to control the situation,’ said a Coptic village resident. ‘Our village is surrounded by corn fields. The Muslims came into the village to loot and quickly disappeared in the fields, the police could not follow them. They were coming from all directions at the same time.’

Nazlet Faragallah has 8000 inhabitants, 80% are Copts and 20% Muslims.” Read more.

Pennsylvania: Philadelphia Mayor Talks Tough to Black Teenagers After ‘Flash Mob’ Attacks, Implements 9 PM Curfew

“PHILADELPHIA — Mayor Michael A. Nutter, telling marauding black youths ‘you have damaged your own race,’ imposed a tougher curfew Monday in response to the latest ‘flash mob’ — spontaneous groups of teens who attack people at random on the streets of the city’s tourist and fashionable shopping districts.

‘Take those God-darn hoodies down, especially in the summer,’ Mr. Nutter, the city’s second black mayor, said in an angry lecture aimed at black teens. ‘Pull your pants up and buy a belt ‘cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt.’

‘If you walk into somebody’s office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won’t hire you? They don’t hire you ‘cause you look like you’re crazy,’ the mayor said. ‘You have damaged your own race.’

Mr. Nutter announced that he was beefing up police patrols in certain neighborhoods, enlisting volunteers to monitor the streets and moving up the weekend curfew for minors to 9 p.m.

Parents will face increased fines for each time their child is caught violating the curfew.

The head of Philadelphia’s chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, J. Whyatt Mondesire, said it ‘took courage’ for Mr. Nutter to deliver the message.” Read more.

UK: Islamists Continue to Set Up ‘Sharia Neighborhoods’ in London, Plans to Flood Muslim and Non-Muslim Communities

And still the government has failed to round up, jail, and deport all those responsible for treason. They say they’ll use the ‘full extent’ of their powers to prosecute any offenders, but when those powers are neutered by political correctness and couched under a veil of so-called ‘human rights’, the only government message that these Islamists are effectively hearing is this: You’re making a difference.  You can’t be stopped.  Seize the moment before the infidels come to their senses, and the world will be yours for the taking …

The Daily Mail reported that some communities have been bombarded with bright yellow posters which read: ‘You are entering a Sharia-controlled zone – Islamic rules enforced.’ The messages were found on bus stops and street lamps, said the report, and have already been seen across certain boroughs in London. They order that ‘no gambling’, ‘no music or concerts’, ‘no drugs or smoking’ and ‘no alcohol’ should be seen in the Sharia-controlled zone. According to the report, dozens of streets in the London boroughs of Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets and Newham have been hit with these signs. Hate preacher Anjem Choudary is reportedly behind the scheme, and he has said he plans to flood specific Muslim and non-Muslim communities around the UK and ‘put the seeds down for an Islamic Emirate in the long term.'” Read more.

India: Muslim Extremists in India Attack Christians, Threaten Christian Woman Who Converted from Islam to Christianity

“NEW DELHI – Four months after a recent convert to Christianity from Islam in eastern India’s West Bengal state was stripped and beaten, about 50 Muslim extremists yesterday disrupted a prayer meeting held in her home, threatening to burn it down if she did not return to Islam, area Christians said.

The extremists warned Selina Bibi of Motijil village in Murshidabad district that if she did not return to Islam, then she must either leave the area or see her house burned down. At her baptism at Believers Church four kilometers from her home on March 29, a large crowd of Muslim extremists disrupted the service, said a pastor identified only as Bashir.

‘I pleaded with them to let me at least finish the worship service before they attack us,’ he told Compass.

When word of her conversion to Christianity reached her village, another extremist group from Motijil led by Jamal Shaike disrupted the service. Shaike and the others verbally abused the Christians, and he ordered his son who was present at the service to leave immediately, Bashir said.

The pastor said that on April 5, two Muslim women along with members of the extremist group summoned Selina Bibi to one of their homes and forcefully stripped her naked.

‘The radicals believe that when any person from the Muslim community becomes Christian, they get Christian marks on their body,’ Bashir said. ‘When the radicals could not find such marks, they started beating her up.'” Read more.

Iran Planning to Retaliate Against the US for Sabotage Against Its Nuclear Program, ‘Will Be Taught the Mother of All Lessons’

By Reza Kahlili – “Iran is planning to retaliate against the United States for the sabotage against its nuclear program, according to an editorial in the Kayhan newspaper, the mouthpiece of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The U.S. has all of its infrastructure connected to the Internet, the editorial says, and as a result, “it is constantly worried about an unknown player, who they will never be able to identify … sitting in some corner of the world who would launch an attack on a sector of (the Americans’) foundations. They will be taught the mother of all lessons.”

Specifically, Iran is looking into launching a cyber attack against U.S. electrical grid systems.

Iranian officials are furious over the July 23 assassination of nuclear scientist Dariush Rezai-Nejad, who was working on electric detonators for the Iranian nuclear program, which can be used on missiles or nuclear bombs. He was the third Iranian nuclear scientist assassinated since 2009.

The frustration over acts of sabotage started with the computer virus Stuxnet in which 1,000 of Iran’s centrifuges at the Natanzs nuclear facility were destroyed and had to be replaced. The virus also attacked the Bushehr nuclear power plant, which has resulted in repeated delays in it joining the country’s power grid.

The July 29 Kayhan editorial threatening America with retaliation said that during the last month, the United States has published two strategy documents regarding cyberspace, both of which emphasize the ever-evolving nature of Internet communications.” Read more.
