“(ANSAmed) – AMMAN, JUNE 1 – Jordan’s Islamists movement on Wednesday organized the biggest protest against Syrian regime since the popular pursing started in the neighbouring country.

Hundreds of members and senior leaders flocked near the embassy compound in the posh area of Abdoun and held placards describing president Bashar al Assad of being a butcher.

Jameel Abu Baker, spokesman of the Muslim Brotherhood said the protest was part of an Arab awakening against tyrant regimes.

“What is happening in Syria is a true carnage. This random killing should stop,” Abu Baker told ANSA during the protest…

Salem Falahat, former president of the Muslim Brotherhood called on Syrian army to shoot at Israel, rather than their own people.

‘The enemy of the Arabs is Israel. They should point their guns at them, not against armless civilians,’ he said.” Read more.

“CARACAS, Venezuela — President Hugo Chavez mocked U.S. concerns about Venezuela’s ties with Iran on Tuesday, joking that while his adversaries worry about Iranian-made missiles lining his country’s coast his government is actually erecting windmills there.

The socialist leader at first said missiles could be launched at Washington and other U.S. cities, then held up a photograph of windmills along the South American country’s coast, saying ‘here they are.’

‘They are pointing directly at Washington,’ Chavez joked during a meeting with top government officials that was broadcast on state television.

Chavez — an outspoken critic of Washington’s foreign policy — has previously poked fun at fears over Venezuela’s increasingly close relationship with Iran, saying that in a joint bicycle factory the two countries are building the ‘atomic bicycle.'” Read more.

And don’t forget, Iran — a country ruled by a religious death cult which longs for the apocalypse — is a state sponsor of terrorism that is working with North Korea on ballistic missile technology, that continues to actively pursue and advance its nuclear program, and is right now building rocket bases in Venezuela to be used against its enemies.  But there’s no need to worry.  After all, Obama believes that diplomacy will convince the Iranians to one day hold hands and sing Kumbaya …

“A senior Iranian cleric, who is considered President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s spiritual mentor, urged followers to continue suicide attacks against Israelis, including children.

Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah, considered one of the Islamic Republic’s most radical clerics, issued a religious edict on his website whereby suicide attacks are not only legitimate but are a must for every Muslim.” Source.

Less than two weeks ago he declared his support for ‘political and economic reform in the Middle East,’ warmly endorsing the ‘Arab Spring’ uprisings there. Then Sunday, Muslim Brotherhood Sheikh Hazem Abu Ismail announced his candidacy for the presidency of Egypt, promising to transform Egypt into an Islamic state and go to war with Israel. Reform that would indeed be, but not the kind any American president should be applauding.

Maybe Obama is still listening to his ruinously incompetent Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, who at the height of the Egyptian uprising characterized the Muslim Brotherhood as ‘largely secular.’ Secular they’re not, but they’re certainly influential, and Obama knows it: he specifically requested that Muslim Brotherhood representatives attend his speech in Cairo in June 2009. Speaking in a mosque on Saturday, Abu Ismail said that he was confident of victory — precisely because, unlike the other candidates, he presented a clear call to institute Islamic law in Egypt. ‘Mohamed ElBaradei, Amr Moussa, and Hamdeen Sabahi, the liberal candidates, will be unable to present a clear vision.'” Read more.

The solution? Go on jihadist raids a few times a year, and bring back prisoners, including women and children, which can be sold in the market like groceries to bring in extra income when times are tough. We are in the era of jihad. The era of jihad has come over us, and jihad in the path of Allah is a pleasure. It is a real pleasure. The companions (of the Prophet) used to compete to (perform jihad). The poverty that we’re in—is it not due to our abandonment of jihad? But if we could conduct one, two, or three jihadist operations every year, many people throughout the earth would become Muslims. And whoever rejected this da’wa, or stood in our way, we would fight against him and take him prisoner, and confiscate his wealth, his children, and his women—all of this means money. Every mujahid who returned from jihad, his pockets would be full. He would return with 3 or 4 slaves, 3 or 4 women, and 3 or 4 children. Multiply each head by 300 dirhams, or 300 dinar, and you have a good amount of profit. If he were to go to the West and work on a commercial deal, he would not make that much money. Whenever things became difficult (financially), he could take the head (i.e. the prisoner) and sell it, and ease his (financial) crisis. He would sell it like groceries. “DOHA – An Arab League committee decided on Saturday to seek full UN membership for a Palestinian state in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, with east Jerusalem as its capital, it said in a statement.

The Arab League’s peace process follow-up committee said it would request membership for the state of Palestine at the UN General Assembly’s meeting in New York in September.

Earlier, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said there were ‘no shared foundations’ for peace talks with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and seeking UN recognition of Palestinian statehood was his only option.” Read more.

“Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has warned against plots hatched by the United States to save Israel, urging world nations to remain vigilant.

‘The US seeks to save the Zionist regime (Israel) with deceit. Everybody should know that the survival of the Zionist regime and its existence even in one span of the Palestinian soil is like preserving a cancerous tumor in the body of regional nations, and [is] a permanent threat against them,’ said President Ahmadinejad in the Iranian city of Qom on Thursday.

He added that the Iranian people and world nations are awakened and demand justice, freedom and the complete elimination of Israel, IRNA reported.

The Iranian chief executive pointed to new plots of the US against the Palestinian people and its support for Israel and said, ‘Nations should choose officials who explicitly express their opposition to the presence of the US and Zionists in the region.’

President Ahmadinejad warned regional countries against an escalation of the situation in the region, stressing, ‘They should be cautious not to jump out of the frying-pan into the fire.'” Read more.

Hey, Mr. Special US Mideast envoy man, describe something that would be very harmful to Israel, and you can rest assured there will be a concerted push from the Ummah to see it happen …

“Special U.S. Mideast envoy George Mitchell told Charlie Rose in a PBS interview on Thursday that U.S. President Barack Obama is trying to head off a ‘train wreck’ at the United Nations this September, when the Palestinians plan on bringing the issue of an independent state to the General Assembly.

‘The United Nations does not have the authority to recognize states,’ Mitchell said. Recognition of a state, especially if passed by an overwhelming margin at the UN, would be ‘very harmful for Israel, for the United States, and not good for the peace process.’

The United States has consistently expressed the opinion that bringing the issue of a Palestinian state to the UN is harmful to the peace process with Israel. Despite this, several countries, have already granted recognition to an independent Palestinian state of their own accord.

In a recent meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned against unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state, saying ‘We do not think that unilateral steps are helpful.'” Read more.
