Lubero District: ‘Caliphate Soldiers’ Slaughter Dozens Of Christians In Single Attack– “Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP) has reported the killing of around 30 Christians in a single attack in north-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Mukondo: Islamists Raid Village, Slit Dozens Of Throats, Burn Down Houses In Horrific New Massacre – “ISIS fanatics are believed to have slit the throats of 19 people before burning their houses down in the latest tragic massacre to hit Congo. The attack, believed to have been carried out by the Allied Democratic Forces, an Islamist militant group based in the region, took place over the weekend in the village of Mukondo in North Kivu province. The assailants wore uniforms resembling those of the Congolese army, which allowed them to enter the village without arousing suspicion. According to Alain Kiwewa, military administrator of the region, they then slit the throats of dozens and burned down houses and shops, leading to a ‘a massive displacement of the local population’. Ntoyo: At Least 64 Slaughtered After ISIS Militants Attack Christian Funeral – “At least 64 people, some who were attending funeral services… were killed in an attack by Islamic extremists… The attack was attributed to the group Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), which is affiliated with ISIS. Ntoyo is located in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the North Kivu province… ADF militants attacked the funeral with machetes, killing dozens. Lufodu Village: Scores Dead And Missing In Overnight Raid By ISIS Terrorists – “The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) launched a deadly raid early last week on the village of Lufodu… killing 20 people… the victims had been camping in their fields as they farmed when the rebels struck. ‘They massacred eighteen people on the spot and two others later succumbed to their injuries… These were ordinary farmers who had gone to guard their crops overnight. By Yigal Carmon, MEMRI – “At a pro-Palestine rally in Istanbul on October 28, 2023, two weeks after Hamas’ October 7 attack, in the context of discussing Israel, President Erdoğan quoted a popular song whose lyrics he has used in the past to presage Turkish military operations in Iraq and Syria, saying: ‘We may come suddenly one night.'[4] A few weeks later, on November 15, he said: ‘Oh Israel; you have an atom bomb, a nuclear bomb – and you are threatening [others] with it. We know this. And now the moment of your death is coming. Have as many nuclear bombs as you want. Have whatever you want. You’re a goner.'[5] On July 28, 2024, referring to Turkish military operations in other countries, President Erdoğan said: ‘Just as we entered [Nagorno] Karabakh, and just as we entered Libya, we will do something similar to [Israel]. There is no [reason] not to.'[6]

… On December 30, 2024, in the weeks following the takeover of Damascus, Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, leader of the Ülkü Ocakları (‘Idealist Hearths’) also known as the Bozkurtlar (‘Grey Wolves’), an organization that has for years supported the Turkish military on the battlefields of Syria and Azerbaijan,[8] said: ‘We all saw the reflection in Syria of our leader’s words ‘we may come suddenly one night.’ We all saw together in Syria what could happen in one night. And so, Turkey is no longer the old Turkey… After Damascus is stabilized and assured, inshallah, we will all see that the conquest of Jerusalem is near.'[9] …

In the meantime, Erdoğan is preparing the Turkish public with justifications for such an attack. On July 30, 2024, amid Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, he said: ‘Who can guarantee that those who today have their eye on Lebanon will not tomorrow extend their filthy hands elsewhere?'[10] On October 1, he warned that Israeli policies threaten Turkey specifically: ‘Israel’s aggression also includes Turkey.'[11] On June 18, 2025, he connected this aggressive stance to Ottoman history by saying: ‘We are following very closely Israel’s terror attacks on Iran… The victorious army of the Ottoman State had a principle: ‘If you desire peace, be prepared for war.”[12] On June 24, he said: ‘Global actors must take effective measures to end Israel’s madness.'[13] In the same month he sought to discourage other countries from supplying Israel, saying: ‘Those countries that are giving Israel arms and munitions should give up being a partner in this crime.'[14] On July 4, he said: ‘Israel’s policies threaten the tranquility and stability of our region.'[15] His government accuses Israel of genocide in Gaza,[16] has called a raid on a flotilla ‘piracy,'[17] and on August 8, Turkish Communications Minister Burhanettin Duran said: ‘The conscience of the world is strong enough to stop and defeat Israel.'[18]

Erdoğan is not content with rhetoric but is taking concrete action against Israel. Turkey was Israel’s fifth-largest supplier in 2024 until in May of that year it ended all exports to and imports from the country.[19] In August 2025, Turkey banned Israeli vessels from its ports, forbade Turkish ships from entering Israeli ports, and restricted its airspace to Israeli aircraft.[20] His government has allowed Iranian guns and money to move through Istanbul to the Houthis in Yemen.[21] It is taking steps to prepare for war with Israel: Following the 12-day war between Israel and Iran in June of this year, the Turkish intelligence agency MİT released a 58-page report that, among other things, recommends the strengthening of Turkish air defense, the further development of the country’s domestic arms industry, and the construction of shelters in major Turkish cities.[22] Based on these recommendations, planning has begun for the construction of long-term shelters in all of Turkey’s 81 provinces.[23] The country also unveiled over the summer powerful new Gazap (‘Wrath’) and Hayalet (‘Ghost’) bunker-busters that it has developed and manufactured.[24]…

Turkish media, which Erdoğan’s government tightly controls,[25] also signal the government’s increasingly hostile position toward Israel by discussing concrete military considerations. GZT.com, which describes itself as Turkey’s largest digital media brand and on whose program Erdoğan himself has appeared,[26] released on June 24, 2025, a video titled ‘Israel’s Soft Underbelly: What Regions, If Struck, Will Cause Israel To Falter?’ The video lists targets in Israel – the Urim, Tel Nof, and Netafim bases – allegedly housing the construction of the Arrow missile defense system, Unit 8200, tank and artillery munitions depots, and ‘critical elements’ like F-15s, special operations teams, and long-range drones. It specifically lists the Sdot Micha, whose existence is not formally acknowledged, as supposedly the site where nuclear warheads are placed on Eriha missiles, saying that ‘If [Sdot Micha] were struck, Israel’s deterrence could be shaken.’ [27] …

Ibrahim Karagül is a Turkish journalist regularly described as pro-government who, from 2012 through the end of 2020, was editor-in-chief of the pro-government Yeni Şafak daily and can be seen in many photos with Erdoğan, including those taken inside Erdoğan’s private plane. Karagül’s rhetoric on Israel over the past year has been startling.

On January 13, 2025, he wrote: ‘We must sever the hand of Israel, which extends toward our borders… Israel should be afraid.'[28] On April 7: ‘The Turkey-Israel War is now unavoidable… [Israel] will kneel before Turkey… Israel has become an existential threat for Turkey… Within one to three years there will be such a war in this region.”[29] On April 23: ‘The Western power that gave Israel immunity has dispersed… Turkey is the owner and heir of Israel and will claim its right to that land… Let Israel do what it will; let it plan what agitations it will, it cannot neither stop nor alter the direction of this great change of history… These vain flailings will strike the wall of Turkey and disperse. Turkey will be on all of Israel’s borders, and if necessary it will imprison it in its home… Israel’s most correct preference may be to kneel in front of Turkey and seek refuge in it. The Jerusalem Post – “The IDF began ‘a series of strikes’ against Hamas targets in southern Gaza in response to the terror group violating the ceasefire agreement on Sunday, the military announced.

The military condemned Hamas’s ‘blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement,’ which occurred when the terror group fired an anti-tank missile and opened fire on Israeli soldiers.

Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Office announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed Israel’s armed forces to respond with force against Gazan terror targets during a consultation with Defense Minister Israel Katz and the heads of Israel’s security establishment.

As a result of Israeli air strikes in Gaza, 11 people were killed and others were wounded, Hamas’s armed wing, the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, later claimed.

‘We have to pay attention to Iranian entrenchment in Sudan. (The Iranians) are working hard to build a base there. Recent reports indicate they are selling drones to the Sudanese army to strengthen their foothold,’ he said.

‘Sudan has been a crucial waypoint for Iran to smuggle arms to Hamas,’ Citronowicz added. ‘Iran’s activity in Africa, especially the eastern region, is significant. Sudan is key if they want to rearm Hamas again.’

Khartoum began to expel Hamas-linked operatives following the ouster of longtime Islamist President Omar al-Bashir in 2019, as new authorities mended ties with the West and inked a normalization accord with Israel.

Sudan’s ongoing civil war has reshaped its political landscape, unleashing deadly chaos and barely governed swathes of contested lands in which some Islamist groups have thrived.

Last year, Israel reportedly considered exiling the assassinated Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar from Gaza to Sudan before he was ultimately killed in a drone attack.

All Remaining Living Hostages Return To Israel As Trump Declares “The End Of An Age Of Terror And Death”

We can all breathe a collective sigh of thankful relief with the return of all 20 living hostages from Hamas captivity. As much as I support President Trump and wish to share in his optimism, however, declaring that “the age of terror and death” has ended is, frankly, naive and delusional. The age of terror and death is far from over and what was signed today is not a miraculous “peace deal” but a myopic pipe dream. It pains me to sound like a killjoy, but we need to face a very sobering reality, not be divorced from it. According to the surrounding Muslim nations, there can be no “peace” until Israel is destroyed. As long as this Islamic hatred of Israel continues to ferment and terror continues to flourish across the surrounding nations and beyond, there will be no peace. Middle East Media Research Institute – “In August 22- 29, 2025, a high-level Islamic conference was held in Istanbul under the title ‘Gaza: An Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility.’ Sponsored by Turkey and Qatar and attended by 150 senior Muslim clerics from 50 countries, the conference was aimed at expressing unequivocal support for the Hamas terrorist organization and opposition to its disarmament, and at mobilizing the Islamic nation to wage jihad against Israel, in all its forms.

The conference was sponsored by a Turkish government body, the Presidency of Religious Affairs, and initiated by the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS). The latter organization is funded and backed by Qatar and Turkey and functions as their arm for the dissemination of extremist Islamist ideology that incites jihad and terrorism against Israel and the West. At the close of the conference, Turkish President Recep Erdogan met with a delegation of conference participants and expressed his support for the event and for its decisions.

In addition to expressing firm support for Hamas and its struggle against Israel, and opposition to disarming it, the closing statement of the conference set out a military, political, economic and legal roadmap for support for Hamas and the struggle against Israel, while blatantly challenging the foreign and domestic policy of several Arab countries. It called to mobilize the Islamic nation for jihad and to breach the sea, air, and land blockade on the Gaza Strip ‘by every means,’ albeit without specifying what these means might be…

In the statement, the conference organizers attributed immense importance to the event, describing it as a turning point and ‘the beginning of the end of the Zionist occupation project.’ This echoes the official Qatari-Turkish stance that endorses the position of Hamas, which persists in its jihad against Israel and refuses to surrender its weapons…

… The conference was led by Ali Al-Qaradaghi, chairman of the IUMS, which is based in Qatar and receives both Qatari and Turkish funding to disseminate extremist Islamist and anti-Western ideology and a discourse of hatred and incitement to jihad, terrorism and anti-Semitism. Al-Qaradaghi, known for his extremist positions, recently stated that Islamic countries must wage jihad to save the people of Gaza, and called on Jordan and Egypt to open their borders and allow their residents to march into Israel…

The closing statement of the conference was read out by IUMS chairman Ali Al-Qaradaghi at a gathering held by some of the participants at the Aya Sophia in Istanbul, a former Byzantine church that was recently converted into a mosque.

The statement begins by asserting the necessity to wage jihad: ‘The Islamic nation must be generally prepared [itself] with knowledge, military force, reverence for Allah, and jihad for the sake of Allah in all its forms. Allah said: ‘And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy…’ (Quran 8:60). He also said: ‘O believers! Shall I show you a bargain that will deliver you from a painful punishment? [It is to] have faith in Allah and His Messenger, and wage jihad in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if only you knew.’ (Quran 61:10-11) …’

The statement goes on to say that ‘the issue of Gaza is no longer a local issue. It is a religious and humanitarian responsibility of the Islamic nation and the entire world…'” Read more.

“Allah Will Destroy Israel For His Holy Name”: Turkey Calls Upon The Muslim World To Unite Against “Zionist Israel” – “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was recorded in a mosque marking the end of the month of Ramadan, wishing for the end of ‘Zionist Israel,’ against the backdrop of tensions between Ankara and Jerusalem. ‘We see what is happening in Palestine. Allah will destroy Zionist Israel for His holy name. We must see what is happening there and therefore we must unite and be strong and be brothers here, Allah will always strengthen our unity,’ said Erdogan. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said: ‘Erdoğan the tyrant exposed his anti-Semitic face. Erdoğan is a danger to the region, and to his own people, as has just been proven in recent days.'” Read more.
