The hooded Islamic fundamentalist calls out to the ‘disbelievers who dominate our lives and lands’.

It is a well-rehearsed argument that for years now has featured in jihadist propaganda the globe over.

But never before has a terror video been so directly aimed at potential recruits in Britain.

The hour-long tape was released last month by the al Qaida-linked Somali jihadi group al-Shabaab, which boasts about its British martyrs.

The masked narrator lists British towns and cities where he claims recruits have come from – and top of the list is Birmingham.

He also issues a chilling message to followers about bombs and other weapons – suggesting that if would-be terrorists cannot gain access to explosives they should improvise.

‘A simple knife from your local B&Q will do the job,’ he adds.

The subversive message is seen as so threatening that the content of much of the video cannot be reported because of legal reporting restrictions and laws forbidding the incitement of terrorism.

The SABC has apologised on behalf of it’s journalist who blamed Islam and ‘generalised any religion when terrorism is involved’. The journalist was severely disciplined. The SABC has put a ban on referring to the religion of militants when a terrorism attack is reported and ordered that the name of the alleged organization rather be cited.

The apology was accepted but the complainant and AL JAMA-AH wants the Press ombudsman ruling overturned that if the words are banned from being used like in the TV broadcast it will be an attack on Press freedom. The complainants feel that the Press Ombudsman, Mr Retief, is with respect not carrying out his mandate. His ruling will further incite further violence as the media continues to have a free hand.

Deen TV Vice President and TV talk show Host, Faizal Sayed, added that, ‘The matter is a delicate matter but one that must be clearly defined to ensure no further related problems in the future’. He added that ‘The media is there to ensure that the authenticity of a report is delivered to the public without it being tainted with the personal notions of the reporter, especially as South African media, who hail from a county which was ravaged in a bitter oppressive past, being labelled all kinds of term without justification, and only for the world to realise later that a fair level of propagation has gone into that. The Local – “A former German footballer who represented his country seven times at youth level has been killed after joining Islamist rebels in Syria.

Burak Karan, 26, played in the youth teams with Germany’s current crop of stars including Sami Khedira and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

But in 2008 at the age of 20 he turned away from sport towards Islam, Focus magazine reported on Monday.

He travelled to Syria to join Islamist rebels fighting Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad where, his brother confirmed to Bild newspaper, he was killed by a bomb.

His 23-year-old wife and two children aged three and 10 months went with him to Syria, where they are believed still to be.

A video has appeared on YouTube portraying him as a engaged rebel soldier and claiming to be him, but his brother said that he was keen to dismiss this.

‘It is in Arabic. Burak wanted to learn to speak the language perfectly but he couldn’t,’ he told the Bild newspaper on Monday.

‘He didn’t want to fight,’ he said. Regarding pictures of Karan holding a gun he said: ‘He was only armed to protect his vehicles.’

‘Burak said to me that money and a career were not important to him,’ Mustafa said. He added that his brother would often search the internet for videos of war zones. ‘He was confused, and filled with sadness for the victims,’ he said.

The federal prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into whether Karan, from Wuppertal in North Rhine-Westphalia, was helping to support an overseas terror network.

According to website transfermarket.de Karan played five times for the national U16 side and twice for the U17 team. On Monday, the website had changed its site, with ‘career ended’ written on the 26-year-old’s profile.” Source – The Local.

The Times of Israel – “Israel is working on coordinating plans for a possible military strike with Saudi Arabia, with Riyadh prepared to provide tactical support to Jerusalem, a British newspaper reported early Sunday.

The two countries have both united in worry that the West may come to terms with Iran, easing sanctions and allowing the Islamic Republic to continue its nuclear program.

According to the Sunday Times, Riyadh has agreed to let Israel use its airspace in a military strike on Iran and cooperate over the use of rescue helicopters, tanker planes and drones.

‘The Saudis are furious and are willing to give Israel all the help it needs,’an unnamed diplomatic source told the paper.

The report comes as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the midst of a blitz to lobby against a deal and cobble together an international alliance opposed to an agreement that allows Iran to continue enriching uranium.

On Sunday, Israel will welcome French president Francois Hollande, who a week earlier put the kibosh on a deal between six world powers and Iran that would ease sanctions in return for initial steps toward curbing enrichment.

Netanyahu on Friday urged France to remain firm in its pressure on Iran ahead of a new round of talks on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program in Geneva, kicking off Wednesday.

After meeting Hollande, Netanyahu will head to Moscow on Wednesday to meet with President Vladimir Putin and lobby against the deal.

Iran’s bid for the bomb ‘threatens directly the future of the Jewish state,’ Netanyahu told CNN recently, in a short preview clip of an interview broadcast on Saturday. As the prime minister of Israel, he stressed, he had to care for ‘the survival of my country.’

CNN reported that Netanyahu also said in the interview that he would do whatever it was necessary to do in order to protect Israel. The full interview will air Sunday morning.

Should a deal be reached, according to the diplomatic source, a military option would be back on the table.” Read more.

By Elad Benari, INN – “Jihadist rebels in Syria had to ask for ‘understanding and forgiveness’ after they beheaded the wrong man, the British Telegraph reports.

In a public appearance filmed and posted online, members of the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), one brandishing a knife, held up a bearded head before a crowd in Aleppo.

The jihadists triumphantly described the execution of what they said was a member of an Iraqi Shiite militia fighting for President Bashar Al-Assad.

As it turned out, reported the Telegraph, the head belonged to a member of Ahrar al-Sham, which is a Sunni jihadist rebel group that often fights alongside ISIS, though it does not share its Al-Qaeda ideology.

After inquiries, an ISIS spokesman admitted the beheaded man was Mohammed Fares, an Ahrar commander reported missing some days ago.

The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, an organization which monitors deaths in the Syrian conflict, said that ISIS rebels misunderstood comments Fares had made, resulting in his beheading.

Other reports indicate that in the fog of battle, Fares – who was wounded in fighting around Aleppo – thought he had been captured by a Shiite militia, and offered up Shiite prayers in an attempt to hide his Sunni identity. Sunni Islamist fighters overheard his prayers, assumed he was a Shiite, and beheaded him.” Read more.

By Amil Imani, Islam Watch – “From Peshawar Pakistan to Nairobi Kenya, from Damascus Syria to Benghazi Libya, Muslims are on a killing rampage. The civilized world is shocked and distressed. Some mutation seems to take place in the humanness of the person the minute he announces his subservience to Islam by reciting the Shahada: ‘I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.’ The individual becomes intolerant, violent and the shedding of blood becomes central to his life.

The Greek had their gods, so did the idolater Arabs before Muhammad appeared on the scene. Muhammad chose a minor idol as god and the only god and elected the name of Allah for him. According to Muhammad, Allah is not only the god; he is the all-everything god, embodying all imaginable attributes that were previously monopolies of different gods of the polytheists.

What in fact stands out as Allah’s dominating attribute, is his intolerant and violent nature. He is nothing like the all-merciful the Quran claims. But he certainly is the most wrathful. Since commissioning Muhammad as his emissary and giving him the manual of mayhem called the Quran, the world has never seen a day of peace. Apparently that’s just the way Allah likes it.

‘The religion of peace,’ is in fact the religion of blood.

Distressed by the Muslims’ trouble-making and killing sprees, civilized nations are bending over backward in the hope of placating them and helping them join the family of humanity by admitting hordes of immigrants and affording them all manner of hospitality and assistance. All seems to no avail. Many of the new arrivals, deeply infected by the Islamic ethos, find it impossible to assimilate in the host countries. Instead, they strive to impose their defunct order that is the cause of their backwardness and inhumanity on the host people.

The non-Muslim world is at the end of its wits. No accommodation or kindness seems to stem the tide of Islamic violence. Countless numbers of proposals have been advanced in dealing with Islamic mayhem. Some feel that, in general, Muslims are law-abiding citizens of their adopted countries and it is a minority that is responsible for acts of atrocities. Thinking along these lines has prompted people to say that the solution to Islamic violence rests with Islamic leaders. That is, Islamic leaders should speak up and condemn jihad and jihadists.

To begin with, renouncing jihad violates the repeated commands of the Quran and the Hadith. No Islamic leader would dare to attempt that abrogation.” Read more.

IDF Blog – “When Hamas spokesperson Fawzy Barhoom heard that an Israeli 19-year-old soldier had been murdered, he publicly lauded the terrorist who committed the attack, and encouraged other young Palestinians to carry out similar attacks.

A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and killed an IDF soldier at the Central Bus Station in the northern city of Afula Wednesday. The soldier was Pvt. Eden Atias, from the Israeli city of Nazareth Illit.

‘Congratulations to the Palestinian West Bank hero who killed an Israeli soldier in Afula this morning,’ Hamas spokesman Fawzy Barhoom wrote on his Facebook page.

‘This is a heroic act of resistance showing that all methods of oppression and terror have not and will not succeed in stopping our people from carrying out jihad and resistance. We call on our people and the Palestinian youth to take part in the movement of the resistance, no matter the sacrifice.’

Of course, it doesn’t matter what happens anyway, because according to the “Religion of Peace” and its immutable teachings, there will be war for the cause of “Allah.” How is any of this any different from any other day? …

AFP – “Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah warned in a rare public appearance Wednesday that failure to strike a deal with ally Iran over its nuclear programme would spell ‘war in the region.’

Nasrallah, who normally appears via video link for fear of assassination by arch enemy Israel, spoke in Hezbollah’s southern Beirut stronghold to mark the Shiite Muslim Ashura holiday.

World powers failed to reach an agreement with Iran over the weekend to curb its controversial nuclear programme in exchange for some relief from crippling Western sanctions despite marathon high-profile talks in Geneva.

The West and Israel have long suspected Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapons capability alongside its civilian programme, allegations fiercely denied by Tehran.

‘What is the alternative to a deal with Iran and the countries of the world,’ he asked. ‘The alternative is war in the region.’

And he pointed the finger at Israel, accusing it of being in league with Arab countries.

‘Israel does not want any accord that would avert war in the region. It is regrettable that some Arab countries take the Israeli side in its murderous choices.'” Read more.
