Somalia: Christian Assassinated In Mogadishu For Spreading The ‘Wrong Religion’

11/15/2013 1 comment

Many people who defend Islam as a “Religion of Peace” often quote a portion of Sura 5:32, claiming that “whoever kills a soul … it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.” In and of itself, the quoted portion appears to be saying that it is wrong to ever kill someone. But when the verse is read in full it makes two vital exceptions: Unless someone is killed for revenge, or unless they are killed for spreading “corruption” in the land. Since the teachings and beliefs of Jews, Christians and all non-Muslims in general are considered “corrupt” in Islam, the fact of the matter is that even the most “peaceful” verse in the Qur’an is itself yet another verse among many that devout Muslims use to justify the slaughter of non-Muslims …

Qur’an Sura 5:32, “Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors”.

Morning Star News – “Gunmen who said they intended to kill a Christian in Mogadishu, Somalia for spreading his faith shot him to death last month, the victim’s neighbor said.

Two men armed with pistols shot Abdikhani Hassan seven times as he approached his home after closing his pharmacy in Kharkinley District on Oct. 20, his Muslim neighbor told a Morning Star News source. Hassan is survived by his wife, who is pregnant, and five children ranging in age from 3 to 12.

Before killing Hassan, one of the assailants told the neighbor, ‘We have information that Hassan is spreading wrong religion to our people, and we are looking for him,’ the neighbor said.

‘I got so frightened as the two young men left,’ said the neighbor, whose identity is withheld for security reasons.

The unidentified attackers did not rob Hassan of anything.

Islamic extremists from the Al Shabaab rebel group have killed several Christians in the past few years, and although the group no longer controls Mogadishu, a few rebels hiding their militant identity remain in the  capital, a source said.

‘The men who murdered Abdikhani are suspected to be Al Shabaab militia, and the government is carrying out an investigation looking for the two killers,’ he said.

Al Shabaab, the Somali cell of Al Qaeda, has vowed to rid Somalia of its Christians, who meet secretly in the country where apostasy, or leaving Islam, is punishable by death.” Read more.

Egypt: Muslim Gangs Terrorize Christians In Minya Village, ‘We’ve Come For The Coptic Dogs’

11/15/2013 Leave a comment

Qur’an Sura 9:29, “[Mohammed said] Fight those who believe not in Allah … (even if they are) of the People of the Book [Christians], until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

By Nader Shukry, Watani International – “The Copts in the Minya village of Manshat al-Mughlaqa in Mallawi, some 250km south of Cairo, are living in terror at the hands of a local criminal who goes by the name Saddam Hussein.

Hussein is the brother of another notorious villain whose ruthless ferocity earned him the dreaded name of Holako, and who was killed a year ago in a shooting when he attempted to kidnap a Coptic woman from her home.

Saddam, who in the lifetime of his brother acted as his right hand, continues along the same path, terrorising the Copts in the villages of the district. Together with his criminal gang, they descend on the villages and target the Copts, many of whom are the wealthier members of the community. They force them to pay tribute money at the peril of their lives and the lives of their children. In case the Copts are landowners, their fields and cattle are promptly set on fire if they refuse to pay up.

Eyewitnesses complained to Watani that they feel unprotected; the police, they said, know about Saddam’s gang but do nothing.

When the Muslim villagers attempted to face the gang they were told to stand by; ‘We didn’t come for you,’ one of the gangsters said, ‘We’ve come for the Coptic dogs.'” Read more.

Flashback: The Nonstop Kidnapping And Plundering Of Egypt’s Christians Continues Unabated – “The kidnapping and plundering of Egypt’s Christian Copts continues unabated. As recently revealed on CTV, in a village called Maghlaga, in the district of Malawi—where Muslim Brotherhood supporters earlier ransacked and plundered a museum housing Egyptian antiquities—a Muslim gang leader known as ‘Saddam’ has been going to every one of the approximately 80 Coptic households in the village demanding jizya/extortion money from them. One inhabitant of the village confirmed that Muslim Brotherhood members are behind Saddam, specifically informing him how much money each household can be squeezed of, so that most households are paying anywhere from 20,000-100,000 Egyptian pounds (from 3-15 thousand U.S. dollars).” Read more.

‘Global Crisis’: Christians In Islamic Nations Face Extinction, ‘Mass Exodus On A Biblical Scale’ Taking Place

11/15/2013 2 comments

Revelation 6:8, “And I looked, and behold a [chlōros – green] horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts [thērion – savage, brutal, bestial men] of the earth…”

By Matthew Holehouse, The Telegraph – “Christianity is in danger of becoming extinct in its ancient homelands because of a rising tide of sectarian attacks, a senior minister will warn on Friday.

Violence against Christian worshippers and other religious minorities by fanatics has become a ‘global crisis’ and is the gravest challenge facing the world this century, Baroness Warsi will say.

‘A mass exodus is taking place, on a Biblical scale. In some places, there is a real danger that Christianity will become extinct,’ she will say at a speech at Georgetown University in Washington.

In the new year, Lady Warsi, the Minister for Faith who sits in the Cabinet, will host an international summit to draw up a plan to end the violence against Christians – particularly in the countries where the faith was born.

Writing for Telegraph.co.uk, Lady Warsi highlights the bombing of All Saints Church in Pakistan, killing 85 congregants, in September and the gun attack on a Coptic wedding party in Egypt as the latest outrages by militants who have turned ‘religion upon religion, sect upon sect’.

‘There are parts of the world today where to be a Christian is to put your life in danger,’ she writes. ‘From continent to continent, Christians are facing discrimination, ostracism, torture, even murder, simply for the faith they follow.

‘Christian populations are plummeting and the religion is being driven out of some of its historic heartlands. In Iraq, the Christian community has fallen from 1.2m in 1990 to 200,000 today. In Syria, the horrific bloodshed has masked the haemorrhaging of its Christian population,’ she says.

Terrorists are subjecting Christians in the Middle East to ‘collective punishment’ for American foreign policy. Worshippers are now regarded as newcomers and agents of the West, despite having lived there for centuries.

The attacks come against a diverse background of political upheaval, local turf wars and social unrest – but they share the common trait of Christians becoming a ‘scapegoat’ for extremists who are insecure in their own religious identity, she will say.

It is the same mindset that motivated the Nazis to persecute the Jews and the Communists to suppress the Russian church, she says.

Lady Warsi is the first senior British politician to draw attention to the plight of Christians in the Arab world, and will call on other Muslims to defend Christians, citing the example of Christians who defended praying Muslims in Tahrir Square during the Egyptian uprising.

‘A bomb going off in a Pakistani church shouldn’t just reverberate through Christian communities; it should stir the world,’ she says.” Read more.

Unsealed: A Closer Look At Revelation 6 And ‘The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse’ – “In an April, 2012 op-ed for Arutz Sheva, Italian journalist Giulio Meotti surmised that ‘the drive for Islamic purity is going to banish all traces of pre-Islamic pasts. When the Islamists will have prevailed, the Middle East will be completely green, the colour of Islam’ [5]. In Revelation 6:8, John describes the ‘fourth horseman’ as being ‘chlōros‘, which translates literally as ‘green’… Green is the official color of Islam, and this green ‘fourth horseman’ is described as having power over the fourth part of the earth. It is no coincidence that today Islam now has dominion over a fourth part of the earth. The ‘fourth horseman’ has the power to ‘kill with sword.’ Islam is spread through Jihad, the ‘Sword of Islam.’ The ‘fourth horseman’ also kills with hunger/famine. Where Islam rises, deprivation and Sharia lawlessness quickly follows, so much so that they would even prefer to see children starve to death than to see them receive life-saving aid from the ‘Christian West.’ The ‘fourth horseman’ kills with ‘death’, and the love of death and martyrdom for the cause of ‘Allah’ permeates Islamic culture to the point where Islamists will even openly declare that they ‘love death more than you love life.’ Lastly, the ‘fourth horseman’ is described as killing with ‘the beasts of the earth.’ The Greek word for beasts is ‘thērion‘ and is very likely being used metaphorically to refer to ‘savage’, ‘brutal’ and ‘bestial’ men — a perfect description of what we are witnessing today in the radical world of Islam’s death seekers.” Read more.

A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and killed an IDF soldier at the Central Bus Station in the northern city of Afula Wednesday. The soldier was Pvt. Eden Atias, from the Israeli city of Nazareth Illit.

‘Congratulations to the Palestinian West Bank hero who killed an Israeli soldier in Afula this morning,’ Hamas spokesman Fawzy Barhoom wrote on his Facebook page.

‘This is a heroic act of resistance showing that all methods of oppression and terror have not and will not succeed in stopping our people from carrying out jihad and resistance. The Religion Of Never-Ending Threats: Hezbollah Chief Warns Of ‘War’ If No Iran Nuke Deal Is Reached

So, if the infidel West uses military force to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, there will be war. If they fail to reach a deal that allows Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, there will be war. If every last Jew in Israel refuses to drop dead, there will be war. Of course, it doesn’t matter what happens anyway, because according to the “Religion of Peace” and its immutable teachings, there will be war for the cause of “Allah.” How is any of this any different from any other day? …

Ecclesiastes 1:9b, “… there is nothing new under the sun.”

Daniel 9:26b, “The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.”

AFP – “Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah warned in a rare public appearance Wednesday that failure to strike a deal with ally Iran over its nuclear programme would spell ‘war in the region.’

Nasrallah, who normally appears via video link for fear of assassination by arch enemy Israel, spoke in Hezbollah’s southern Beirut stronghold to mark the Shiite Muslim Ashura holiday.

World powers failed to reach an agreement with Iran over the weekend to curb its controversial nuclear programme in exchange for some relief from crippling Western sanctions despite marathon high-profile talks in Geneva.

The West and Israel have long suspected Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapons capability alongside its civilian programme, allegations fiercely denied by Tehran.

‘What is the alternative to a deal with Iran and the countries of the world,’ he asked. ‘The alternative is war in the region.’

And he pointed the finger at Israel, accusing it of being in league with Arab countries.

‘Israel does not want any accord that would avert war in the region. It is regrettable that some Arab countries take the Israeli side in its murderous choices.'” Read more.

My divorce was finalized in less than three months and I was ordered to pay my ex-wife a monthly pension equivalent to 400% of my income at the time.

My family and my country had left me! I then proceeded to go into exile in France.

Sudan: Muslim Man Converts To Christianity, Relatives Burn Down His House

11/13/2013 6 comments

For peaceful purposes …

Luke 21:16, “You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.”

Christian Post – “In Sudan the atmosphere for Christians is becoming increasingly dangerous. Since the secession of South Sudan, the government in Khartoum has made it clear that the country is a Muslim state that will be governed by strict Islamic law (Sharia). The government of President Oman Hassan al-Bashir has made it clear that there is no room for Christians. However, contrary to the desire of the government and society at large, there are Christians in Sudan who are holding on to Christ at great cost.

Moses (not his real name), 31, was born to a successful Muslim businessman in Sudan. As a young man, he helped his father run the business. Sadly, the father died when he was 16 years old. Moses’ mother remarried after a short time. An uncle took in the young Moses. But he was not an honest man. He grabbed all of Moses’ father’s property. When Moses protested, the uncle sent him to a state-run school for ‘problematic’ young people. Moses faced disciplining and Islamic instruction. He endured regular beatings and hard labor. After some time Moses escaped. He found refuge for a few years in a separate town where he made ends meet by doing menial jobs. Then he returned to Khartoum to live with his brother. But that did not last. When Moses and his brother had a disagreement about their late father’s property, Moses moved out.

One day in 2011, Moses walked past a church and noticed the cross. He unexpectedly felt ‘something stirring in him.’ He entered the building on an impulse and was met by a church elder. They had a brief discussion about the Christian faith. This one conversation led to a number of follow-up meetings. After two years of discussion, Moses accepted Christ. The regular discussions turned into discipleship sessions.

Soon after this, Moses married a Muslim woman, Aida. She regularly joined Moses for church services at the local church and Moses sincerely hoped she would follow him to Christ. But it did not happen. At first, the couple did not tell any of their families about Moses’ Christian faith. They thought it best to keep it a secret. But in April, Aida told her mother. Aida’s mother was furious. She spread the word. When she told her sons, they immediately went to Moses’ house and burned it to the ground. Moses lost everything in the fire …” Read more.

Terrifying: Kidnappings Of Christians Surge In Egypt

Romans 8:35-39, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [Shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Revelation 22:20b, “… Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

By Kristen Chick, CSM – “Hany Sedhom’s story begins the way dozens of others begin: it was dark, and he was driving home to a village on the outskirts of this sleepy city in late September.

Suddenly a car and motorcycle emerged out of the night, blocking the road. The men quickly got out and pointed automatic rifles at his head. Mr. Sedhom considered stepping on the gas and trying to escape, but he quickly abandoned the thought when the men fired at his car. They dragged him out of the vehicle, striking his head with a rifle butt and slashing his face with a knife before tying his hands, blindfolding him, and driving off into the desert with him.

Over the next 48 hours, Mr. Sedhom was beaten, taunted, and threatened with death. He was given no food, and only filthy water to drink.

He was finally released after his wife paid a ransom of 300,000 Egyptian pounds (about $43,500) – but not before his kidnappers threw him into a pit, pressed a gun to his head, and told him it was all over.

Sedhom’s terrifying ordeal has become familiar for Christians throughout southern Egypt. More than 100 people have been kidnapped for ransom in this marginalized region in the last two and a half years, nearly all of them Christians, according to activists and church officials. And there has been a sharp increase in kidnappings in the months since Aug. 14, when hundreds were killed as police broke up two sit-ins supporting ousted president Mohamed Morsi.

Although more than 80 people have been kidnapped in Minya Province alone, the rest of the country knows little about the burgeoning scourge of opportunistic violence. And victims, activists, and church officials say the police have largely ignored the problem, rarely taking steps to stop the kidnappers or bring them to justice.

A group of kidnap victims and a Coptic Orthodox Church official say they’ve waited long enough. In late October they planned a protest in front of the governor’s office, and decided to begin publicizing the problem. When local officials found out, they invited the group to meetings with the governor and security chief in Minya. Group members are wary of broken promises, but they say the official acknowledgement of the problem is an important first step.

‘If the police tried, this could be stopped,’ says Sedhom. ”If’ is the key word here.'” Read more.

‘Monumental’: Islamist Super-Bloc Begins Forming In The Middle East

11/12/2013 3 comments

Tip of the hat to Joels Trumpet for the link. Although a strategic alliance between the Shias (Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon) and the Sunnis (Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt-Gaza) will never fully erase the division that exists between both branches of Islam, their collaboration will certainly be enough to instill fear in the hearts of Egypt’s military rulers whom Turkey views as “the enemy”, the House of Saud in Saudi Arabia whom Iran views as the “enemy of Islam” and Israel, of course, who is viewed as the enemy of them all. These are sobering times for all students of Bible prophecy. As events therefore continue to unfold, “let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober” …

Revelation 17:13, 17, “These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast… For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.”

2 Thessalonians 2:8, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.”

By Ryan Mauro, The Clarion Project – “A monumental strategic shift is taking place in the Middle East as an Islamist super-bloc is forming. Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood are making up with Iran and Hezbollah. Egypt and the Gulf states are forming their own alliance. The U.S. outreach to Iran and the Brotherhood has left it missing from the equation.

The Syrian civil war has pitted the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood and Turkey against Iran, Hezbollah, Iraq and the Syrian regime since 2011. Now, with a bloody stalemate resulting in consequences each side fears, the two sides are looking for ways to make amends.

Turkey has been trying to move its relationship with Iran past the ancient Ottoman-Persian rivalry for years. The Erdogan government gave secret U.S. intelligence to Iran and in early 2012, informed Iran about ten of its nationals meeting with Israeli intelligence inside Turkey.

One of the architects of the Turkish-Iranian relationship is Turkish intelligence chief Hakan Fidan, who the Israeli Defense Minister described as a ‘friend of Iran.’ Some Israeli officials privately refer to him as the ‘station chief in Ankara’ for Iranian intelligence.

These statements about Fidan’s role is not hype. The recent U.S. ambassador to Turkey and Iraq, James Jeffrey, put it this way: ‘Hakan Fidan is the face of the new Middle East.’

Until recently, the bitter civil war in Syria blunted Fidan’s aspirations. Turkey’s ideological ally, the Muslim Brotherhood, is trying to overthrow Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, Iran’s most valuable ally. But now both sides are exhausted. The war is costly, bloody and no one is gaining anything by its continuance.

Turkey sees Al-Qaeda affiliates taking control of the Syrian rebel cause and Kurdish militias gaining control near the border. The cost of overthrowing Assad would be exorbitant. Al-Qaeda and the Kurds would be even stronger and sectarian warfare will exasperate the refugee crisis.

Assad’s Iranian and Russians backers want him (or at least his regime) to remain in power for strategic reasons, but both have to realize that his forces are overstretched and cannot hope to reclaim the entirety of the country.

High-level Turkish and Iranian officials are meeting with the expressed purpose of ending the sectarian conflict. An unnamed senior Turkey official told Reuters, ‘Both Iran and Turkey are at a point where they think they can work together on Syria.’

Turkey has become the ‘regional hub for the Muslim Brotherhood’s international organization.’ It also hosts a Hamas command post.  If Turkey is reaching out to Iran, it must be assumed that the Brotherhood is doing the same.” Read more.

American Thinker: Can Israel Survive Obama?

11/12/2013 8 comments

Israel will still stand firm in the aftermath of Obama’s foolish judgments. But the same cannot be said for Obama after the righteous judgment of a holy God …

Ecclesiastes 12:14, “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.”

Obama to Israel: I've Got Your Back

Obama to Israel: I’ve Got Your Back

By Noah Beck, American Thinker – “Those who hoped that Obama’s Middle East policies wouldn’t get any worse have awakened to a nasty surprise: the Obama administration is actively making it harder for Israel to neutralize Iran’s nukes, and more likely that Iran will develop a nuclear arsenal.

About a year ago, the New York Times reported that ‘intense, secret exchanges between American and Iranian officials [dating] almost to the beginning of President Obama’s term’ resulted in an agreement to conduct one-on-one negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. In those secret talks, did Obama long ago concede to Iran a nuclear capability? If so, then the current Geneva negotiations merely provide the international imprimatur for what Iran and the US have already privately agreed. That might explain why France (of all countries) had to reject a Geneva deal that would have left Iran with a nuclear breakout capability.

An investigation by the Daily Beast also reveals that the ‘Obama administration began softening sanctions on Iran after the election of Iran’s new president last June, months before the current round of nuclear talks in Geneva…’ The report notes that Treasury Department notices show ‘that the U.S. government has all but stopped the financial blacklisting of entities and people that help Iran evade international sanctions since the election of its president, Hassan Rouhani, in June.’

Obama’s desperately eager posture towards the smiling Mullahs has doomed any negotiation to failure by signaling that the U.S. fears confrontation more than anything else. Obama’s pathetic approach to the world’s most pressing national security threat also makes U.S. military action virtually impossible from a public relations and diplomatic standpoint because it promotes the naive idea that more diplomacy will resolve what a decade of talking hasn’t. And as long as the Iranians are ‘talking,’ world opinion will also oppose an Israeli military strike, so naturally Iran will find ways to keep talking until it’s too late for Israel to act.” Read more.

Muslim Persecution Of Christians: August 2013, ‘Their Goal Was To Erase All The Traces Of A Christian Presence’

11/12/2013 2 comments

Matthew 10:22, “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”

By Raymond Ibrahim, Gatestone Institute – “The attacks on Egypt’s Coptic Christians and their churches that began in July on the heels of the popular June 30 Revolution — which saw the ousting of President Morsi and prompted the Muslim Brotherhood to scapegoat and incite violence against the Copts — became even more brutal in mid-August after security forces cleared out Brotherhood ‘sit in’ camps, where people were being tortured, raped, and murdered. Among other things, over 80 Christian churches were attacked and often torched. (Click here for a brief video of one of these many churches set aflame.)

Upper Egypt, especially Minya, which has a large Christian minority, was hit especially hard, with at least 20 attacks on churches, Christian schools and orphanages. ‘The Islamists,’ one resident said, ‘burnt and destroyed everything. Their goal was to erase all the traces of a Christian presence; even the orphanages were looted and destroyed.’ After storming the Prince Tadros el-Shatbi Church, Morsi supporters turned their attention to two homes for disadvantaged children located near the parish church; there, they stole church offerings, clothes, and children’s games before torching the entire building in a fire that lasted over five hours.

The attacks were not limited to inanimate objects. According to the BBC, 10-year-old Jessi Boulus, an only child, was walking home from her Bible class in a working-class area of the capital when a gunman killed her with a single shot to the chest. Her mother, Phoebe, devastated, believes Jessi was targeted purely because she was Christian.

The attacks on Egypt’s Christians were so fierce that, at one point, when they started to run out of food, they were afraid to come out of their homes for fear of being killed by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Many churches canceled services. Even at the Virgin Mary monastery, which was also torched, one priest said, ‘We did not hold prayers in the monastery on Sunday for the first time in 1,600 years.’

Although some in the West assert that the Christian minority needs to fight fire with fire, when one 60-year-old Copt tried to do just that, firing a gun in the air to scare away an invading Islamic mob, ‘It proved a fatal error,’ the Sunday Times reported: ‘They took offence at the fact that a Christian fired in the air against them, and they stormed his home and shot him to death before taking his body away and hacking it into parts.’

Scenes reminiscent of the original Islamic conquest of Seventh Century Egypt replayed themselves: an Evangelical church in the village of Bedin was not only attacked but converted into a mosque. Similarly, as reported by the AP, ‘After torching a Franciscan school, Islamists paraded three nuns on the streets like ‘prisoners of war’ before

While “Allah” and his “prophet” are themselves responsible for the never-ending death and destruction running rampant all throughout the Muslim world, the Muslim world blames Israel as the sole source of all the ills that plague them, a claim often echoed my Islamic clerics and leaders worldwide. They have deceived themselves into believing that in order for there to be peace anywhere upon the earth Israel must first be destroyed. And “peace and safety” is what they expect to finally achieve when they gather together to come up against Jerusalem, anticipating that Israel will finally be a nation no more. But it is not Israel that will suffer utter destruction. It will be them …

1 Thessalonians 5:2-6, “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when THEY shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon THEM, as travail upon a woman with child; and THEY shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.”

Joel 3:11-12, “Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, O LORD, Your mighty ones. Let the nations be aroused And come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations.”

Joel 3:11-12, “Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, O LORD, Your mighty ones. Let the nations be aroused And come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations.”

By Jerrold L. Sobel, Frontpage Mag – “As we approach the 4th month and 14th meeting between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA), the latest round of U.S. pressured negotiations seem hopelessly deadlocked.  What else is new?

Secretary of State Kerry arrived in Jerusalem this week to try and resuscitate the perpetually moribund peace talks between Israel and the PLO.  According to an article in the Jerusalem Post, Israeli officials claim both sides are cognizant a gap between them is so great that only an interim deal can be made in the 9-month time frame mandated by the Obama Administration.

Not wasting a moment, PLO secretary general, Yasser Abed Rabbo, immediately quashed the report and rejected it out of hand, stating it was ‘baseless.’….’The Palestinian leadership rejects any interim agreements…. We also reject the idea of establishing a Palestinian state with temporary borders.’ As if not emphatic enough, he went on to describe the Israeli position as:  ‘the worst in 20 years.’

PA Foreign Minister Riad Malki concurred, reaffirming as non-negotiable the demand for a two-state solution based upon the pre-1967 lines ‘where Palestine and Israel would live next to each other in security and peace.’  Wouldn’t that be nice?

In accordance, PLO Executive Committee member Wasel Abu Yusef  further dispelled the aura of secret negotiations by stating, if they didn’t get their way, ‘The Palestinians won’t be able to continue with them.  All indications show that the talks are headed toward failure.’  For reasons other than his, I couldn’t agree with him more.

Lost in all the hyperbole of deceptive surface issues such as ‘settlements,’ Jerusalem, the right of return, pre-67 borders, and the creation of a Palestinian state itself, is a failure to recognize these issues are outward symptoms of the struggle, not its essence.  The foundation, the least common denominator of this enmity is the expansionist nature of Islam, a political movement ensconced in a religion.” Read more.

Unsealed: A Closer Look At Revelation 6 And ‘The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse’ – “As long as Islam has existed, it has never known peace… And the persecution of Jews and Christians, and the atmosphere of Islamic wars upon the earth, continues to this very day. Even now, Islamists boldly declare that if non-Muslims do not accept Islam ‘they will never know peace.’ … Iran prepares for a nuclear Armageddon and threatens to turn Jerusalem into a mass graveyard, calling for the death of all Jews worldwide and the annihilation of the state of Israel. Hamas and Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood seek to join the fray…” Read more.

Flashback: Pakistani Cleric: World Peace Will Be Established Only When All The Jews Are Wiped From The Earth – “Pakistani cleric Pirzada Muhammad Raza Saqib Mustafai argued that world peace will be established only when all the Jews are wiped out from the earth. In the video entitled ‘Yahodi Islam Kay Aur Aman Kay Asal Dushman Hain’ (Jews Are the Real Enemy of Islam and Peace), Muhammad Raza Saqib Mustafai states: ‘And all the troubles that exist around the world are because of the Jews. When the Jews are wiped out, then the world would be purified and the sun of peace would begin to rise on the entire world.’” Read more.

Flashback: Hamas MP: ‘The Jews Are Behind Each And Every Catastrophe On The Face Of The Earth’ – “The Jews are behind each and every catastrophe on the face of the Earth. This is not open to debate. This is not a temporal thing, but goes back to days of yore. They concocted so many conspiracies and betrayed rulers and nations so many times that the people harbor hatred towards them. Throughout history — from Nebuchadnezzar until modern times… They slayed the prophets, and so on.  Any catastrophe on the face of this Earth — the Jews must be behind it.” Read more.
