Hollywood’s Islam-Free Terrorism, ‘America Is Paralyzed By Navel-Gazing, Hand-Wringing, Moral Confusion’
Although I’ve enjoyed some of the films referred to below, the author does make a valid point. Creating a world where terrorism exists apart from Islam is like making an omlette without the egg. Yes, you can do it, but it’ll never be real …
By Mark Tapson, Frontpage Mag – “The Los Angeles Times reported Friday that terrorism is making a comeback in Hollywood films after a dozen post-9/11 years in which they shied away from dealing with a topic that studios deemed too sensitive. The report credits this new trend to filmmakers attempting to bring to their fictional films some ‘real-world relevance.’ There’s just one problem: Hollywood’s terrorism is still devoid of real-world terrorists.
The Times article points out that the filmmakers of several of the summer’s blockbusters feel safe again to depict acts of terrorism: ‘collapsing skyscrapers, spaceships flying into densely populated cities and bombers run amok… With the terror attacks more than a decade in the past, they say they no longer have to worry about alienating audiences.’
First of all, terror attacks are not ‘more than a decade in the past.’ Sure, they aren’t on the scale of 9/11, but America has continued to endure attempted and successful terror attacks since then, all the way up to the recent Boston bombing. As for alienating audiences, did it ever occur to those filmmakers that movies in which America proudly and unapologetically kicked Islamic terrorist butt might provide audiences with that tremendous collective catharsis that Aristotle noted was the aim of good drama? That movies which affirmed our freedoms and our superior cultural values – that’s right, I said superior –might have united, inspired and empowered those audiences? That such movies might have sent a message to the world that we are unbowed by barbarism?
Instead, when Hollywood did address the clash of civilizations in those post-9/11 years, it pumped out movies disapproving of the CIA and/or the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Every one of them reeked with the message of moral equivalence that we’re no better than the terrorists. Every one depicted our soldiers as PTSD-ravaged. Every one condemned our presence in Iraq as a Bush lie. And every one of those films about our clash of civilizations bombed, if you’ll pardon the pun, including Syriana, The Green Zone, Stop-Loss, In the Valley of Elah, Redacted, Brothers, Lions for Lambs,Rendition, The Kingdom, Body of Lies, and more. Why did they bomb? Because Americans don’t want to see movies loaded with those defeatist, self-flagellating messages. So Hollywood ended up alienating those audiences anyway.
‘[Y]ou write about the times you live in,’ said James Vanderbilt, screenwriter of White House Down, about an aspiring Secret Service agent protecting the president when the White House is taken over by – wait for it – domestic terrorists. ‘I was always fascinated with the idea of how you could take over the country — who would be able to do that,’ said Vanderbilt.
I have a suggestion: if he wants to write about the times we live in, why not address credible, real-world enemies like Iran, Hezbollah, or al Qaeda and ‘its affiliates’ (as President Obama calls them)? If he wants to imagine who could take over the White House, how about the Muslim Brotherhood, who traffic in and out of the White House now like it’s Grand Central Station? But he won’t because the truth is, too many in Hollywood are multiculturalist cowards who have already chosen to submit to Islam.
The latest Star Trek sequel is ‘about terrorism,’ says the actor who plays Capt. Kirk, ‘about issues we as human beings in 2013 deal with every day, about the exploitation of fear to take advantage of a population, about physical violence and destruction but also psychological manipulation.’ And yet the actor doesn’t explicitly make the obvious connection to those threats from Islamic fundamentalists. (In fact, nowhere in the Times article do the words ‘Islam’ and ‘Muslim’ appear in any form.)
Nor does Shane Black, director and co-writer of Iron Man 3, whose ‘ultimate terrorist’ called ‘The Mandarin’ ‘has this driving hatred for America which fuels his rhetoric with which he recruits these legions of followers.’ Sounds like a clear stand-in for bin Laden or any number of Islamic terrorist leaders. And yet Black takes the safe route and makes his ultimate villain a vague fantasy figure.

Saudi Arabia: Women Banned From ‘Women In Society’ Conference
It would have been an un-Islamic waste of time to allow women to attend and permit them to speak their deficient minds …
Hadith, Bukhari 6:301, “[Muhammad] said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’ They replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence.’”
Qur’an Sura 4:34a, “Men have authority over women because [Allah] has made the one superior to the other …”
Hadith, Sahih AlBukhari 5196, “[Muhammad said] When I stood on the door of hell, I saw most of its inhabitants were women”
By SARA MALM, Mail Online – “This image show attendees at a conference in Saudi Arabia on the topic ‘women in society’ – and not a single one is female.
The conference, reportedly held at the University of Qassim last year, was attended by representatives from 15 nations, apparently all men.
The seats in the hall are filled with men in traditional Arab dress apart from one wearing a blue chequered shirt.
The photograph was published in a Saudi newspaper last year, and has since been making the rounds on social networks.
Twitter users have branded the image ‘absurd’, ‘the height of misogyny’ and ‘astonishing’ as the internet responded to what is only the latest proof of the gender gap in the Middle-Eastern nation.
Segregation between men and women in the oil rich country is widespread due to the ultra-conservative Wahhabi sharia law.
Restrictions mean they are not allowed to drive, they must use separate entrances at banks and offices, and a plan to build a city for female workers only has been announced.
They also need permission from a male relative or their husband to work, travel, study or marry and a woman’s testimony counts for less than that of a man in a court of law.” Read more.

Egyptian Against Egyptian: At Least 10 Killed as MILLIONS Across Country Demand President Morsi Step Down
The opposition is ready to show the Islamists that they mean business. But so do the Islamists. If neither side gives in, this will not end well any time soon …
Isaiah 19:2, “I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; Everyone will fight against his brother, And everyone against his neighbor, City against city, kingdom against kingdom …”
By HAMZA HENDAWI and MAGGIE MICHAEL and SARAH EL DEEB, The Times of Israel – “CAIRO (AP) — Millions of Egyptians thronged the streets of Cairo and cities around the country Sunday and marched on the presidential palace, filling a broad avenue for blocks, in an attempt to force out the Islamist president with the most massive protests Egypt has seen in 2½ years of turmoil.
In a sign of the explosive volatility of the country’s divisions, a hard core of young opponents broke away from the rallies and attacked the main headquarters of President Mohammed Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood, pelting it with stones and firebombs until a raging fire erupted in the walled villa. During clashes, Brotherhood supporters opened fire on the attackers, and activists said three protesters were killed.
Several news reports put the number of protesters in Cairo’s Tahrir square with over a million, with large numbers in other Egyptian cities. Demonstrators say they are angered over the country’s flailing economy and Islamist domination in the halls of power.
Fears were widespread that the two sides could be heading to a violent collision in coming days. Morsi made clear through a spokesman that he would not step down and his Islamist supporters vowed not to allow protesters to remove one of their own, brought to office in a legitimate vote. Thousands of Islamists massed not far from the presidential palace in support of Morsi, some of them prepared for a fight with makeshift armor and sticks.
At least five anti-Morsi protesters were killed Sunday in clashes and shootings in southern Egypt.
The protesters aimed to show by sheer numbers that the country has irrevocably turned against Morsi, a year to the day after he was inaugurated as Egypt’s first freely elected president. But throughout the day and even up to midnight at the main rallying sites, fears of rampant violence did not materialize.
Instead the mood was largely festive as protesters at giant anti-Morsi rallies in Cairo’s central Tahrir Square and outside the Ittihadiya palace spilled into side streets and across boulevards, waving flags, blowing whistles and chanting.
Fireworks went off overhead. Men and women, some with small children on their shoulders, beat drums, danced and sang, ‘By hook or by crook, we will bring Morsi down.’ Residents in nearby homes showered water on marchers below — some carrying tents in preparation to camp outside the palace — to cool them in the summer heat, and blew whistles and waved flags in support.
‘[Then-president Hosni] Mubarak took only 18 days although he had behind him the security, intelligence and a large sector of Egyptians,’ said Amr Tawfeeq, an oil company employee marching toward Ittihadiya with a Christian friend. Morsi ‘won’t take long. We want him out and we are ready to pay the price.'” Read more.
France: Butcher Terrorized And Driven Out By Muslims Because He Sold Pork
Maybe the Anti-Crest found pork in his toothpaste …
By Claire Staes, Le Mensuel de Rennes via Islam verses Europe – “Intimidations, proselytism, drug trafficking… For several months, shopkeepers and locals in the Italie shopping centre, in Rennes, have been complaining about pressures and they talk about a deteriorating climate. In the crosshairs: a handful of troublemakers.
In the Italie shopping centre, in the Blosne district of Rennes, the butcher-processor has finally closed its doors at the end of April. ‘Worn out by the pressure,’ the shopkeeper sold his premises. At the beginning of June, in renovated premises, a halal butcher will move in, the second in this site which has fifteen shops.
In eleven years of operation, the butcher has had his window smashed a dozen times. Why? ‘Because I had the misfortune to sell pork!’, assures Jérôme. A few years ago, a message of about fifty centimetres was engraved by knife on to a wooden door in the back of his shop: ‘Death to the pigs, we will bleed you.’
‘As in previous cases, I filed a complaint at the police station. As in the previous cases, the police refused to come here to take note of it. I am bitter.’ According to the man in his forties, the intimidations even went as far as physical threats. ‘Three years ago, one evening, a dozen thugs came into my shop. They told me that if I cooked galettes-saucisses [tn: sausage pastries, a delicacy associated with Rennes] outside, as has been the tradition since forever, it would end very badly. Right away, I stopped making galettes-saucisses on Friday, a day of prayer for Muslims. I made them on Saturday in the early morning, when the troublemakers in this district are still asleep.’
Shocked by what they consider ‘racist’ acts, the inhabitants have circulated a petition to denounce these actions and show their solidarity with the butcher. Several hundred signatures were collected. ‘Nothing changed,’ Jérôme admits publicly. ‘I tried to resist, but I’ve given up. Today, I’m abandoning the ship. However, my business is doing well.’
In the district, the butcher’s misfortunes are known to everyone. All the more so as they do not appear to be isolated. Abdalah, owner of the neighbouring halal grocer’s shop, set up in the Italie only a few months ago. The young men recounts how, several times, people demanded that he stop selling alcohol. ‘I changed the place of my bottles, but I held firm. It passed. Today, there’s no hostility.’ A chemist who has been here for nine years, Anne explains: ‘There is no crime problem here. It’s quite calm. But there is a problem of intolerance, something we didn’t see before.'” Source – Islam verses Europe.
Flashback: France: Two Muslim Men Attack 23-Year-Old Man … For Eating A Ham Sandwich – “A few years ago, Muslim cabbies at the Minneapolis airport began to refuse to carry passengers who were carrying alcohol. It became a big controversy, as some counter-jihad activists began asking whether the cab drivers would soon begin enforcing other Sharia rules upon their non-Muslim customers. Would they, for example, refuse to carry a passenger who had a ham sandwich? Such concerns were dismissed at the time as hysterical exaggerations of what was presented as a completely innocuous attempt by the cab drivers to exercise their religious freedom. But now, with this incident, we see the next step that we predicted all those years ago: the violent enforcement of Sharia provisions on non-Muslims — in what still is, for the moment, a non-Muslim country.” Read more.

Christian Properties Desecrated, Churches Demolished: Christianity In Peril In Turkish Cyprus
Just one of the many reasons why Turkey was added to the list of worst religious freedom offenders in the world …
By Michael Curtis, American Thinker – “Violence against Christians has become all too frequent in recent years, with attacks on them in a wide variety of countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Repression and intolerance have been displayed against the Christian community in Nigeria; against the Coptic Christians in Alexandria, Egypt ; by bombing in a chapel in Sulu, Philippines; by bomb arracks against Assyrian Christians in Iraq; by discrimination against them in the Islamic Republic of Iraq; by prosecution under the blasphemy laws in Pakistan and elsewhere.
It was the interruption and disruption by force of the celebration of Christian Mass in the villages of Rizokarpaso and Ayia Triada in northern Cyprus that led the European Parliament in a resolution on January 19, 2011 to comment on the situation of Christians in the context of freedom of religion. Since the ‘Arab Spring,’ thousands of Christians have fled the countries of the Middle East except Israel. Christian communities have existed for two thousand years in the Middle East, though they are now declining as a result of low birth rates and emigration caused by discrimination and persecution in most of the Arab and Muslim countries in the area. The case of northern Cyprus is a recent example of that discrimination and intolerance towards a Christian community.
The disruption of the Christian liturgy in the two villages was, as admitted by the World Council of Churches at the time, a flagrant violation of fundamental freedoms and human rights, the freedom of religion and belief, as guaranteed in Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and in other international declarations, including the 1981 United Nations Declaration on the Elimination of all Forms of Intolerance and Discrimination based on Religion and Belief.
The area of Cyprus had been ruled administratively as a protectorate by Britain from 1878 until August 1960, when it become an independent country. An international treaty guaranteed the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Cyprus. But political crises and violence between the Greek and Turkish communities continued. As a result, the U.N. Security Council set up in March 1964 the U.N. Peacekeeping Force (UNFICYP), originally to prevent further fighting between the two communities. In the absence of a political solution of the Cyprus problem, the force, now consisting of 925 uniformed personnel, and 140 international and local staff, has remained in existence to supervise ceasefire lines, maintain a buffer zone between the two sides, and undertake humanitarian activities.
Despite the presence of UNFICYP in 1974, the Turkish army invaded the island, ostensibly to restore ‘constitutional order,’ after the Greek military had attempted a coup to unite Cyprus with Greece. Though there was a de facto ceasefire in August 1974, the Turkish aggression remained. The Turks never withdrew and occupied about a third of the island. In November 1983, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was established under the leadership of Rauf Denktash, who remained president until 2005. It had a population of 180,000, of whom about 100,000 came as colonialists from Anatolia, the Turkish mainland. The U.N. condemned the Republic as ‘legally invalid’ and called on states not to recognize it. None has done so except Turkey. The town of Nicosia is still divided, with a ‘Green Line,’ into two parts, each being the capital of one of the two regimes. It is the only divided capital in the world.
With the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the 200,000 Greek Christian Cypriots in the north escaped or were Read more…
Pakistan: One Year Later, Taliban ‘Ban’ Leaves Over 150,000 Children At Risk From Polio
For peaceful purposes …
Matthew 24:7, “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places” (HNV).
By Zulfiqar Ali, The Express Tribune – “On June 15, 2012, Taliban commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur ‘banned’ anti-polio drives in North Waziristan. Following his decision, the Mullah Nazir Group also banned anti-polio vaccination in South Waziristan on June 25, 2012. One year on, more than 150,000 tribal children below the age of five have been deprived of immunisation against the preventable disease.
At present, no meaningful negotiations on the topic are being conducted with the Taliban either via tribal jirgas or government channels.
Earlier, the political administrations of both North and South Waziristan initiated a dialogue with the Taliban to restart the anti-polio drives through a jirga, but failed to convince them to allow the resumption of vaccinations. The jirga itself is under the influence of the Taliban, and lacks the moral backbone to stand against their position. The North Waziristan Grand Jirga, for example, endorsed Bahadur’s ban on polio vaccines on July 17, 2012.
While commenting on this endorsement, Khadim Hussain, an expert on the war on terror, told The Express Tribune the jirga cannot speak its mind and make independent decisions. ‘It (the jirga) does not represent collective interest because it is under the influence of Taliban commanders.’
On December 17, 2012, on instructions issued by the FATA Secretariat, the North and South Waziristan political administrations issued conditions which required tribesmen to hold valid documents to get their children vaccinated. But, due to strong resistance from the tribesmen, the political administrations lifted these conditions.
Ihsan Dawar, a journalist from North Waziristan, said the political administration issued these conditions without a viable anti-polio campaign. He added placing these conditions was also a disadvantage for the political administrations.
Despite the ‘ban’ on polio vaccinations, the government set up immunisation centres in Agency Headquarters Hospital Miranshah, Mir Ali Hospital in North Waziristan and Agency Headquarters Hospital Wana, South Waziristan. However, residents, in fear of Taliban retribution, do not dare to take their children to these vaccination centres.” Read more.

Unsealed: A Closer Look At Revelation 6 And ‘The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse’ – “Because of ‘Sharia lawlessness’ the ‘Religion of Peace’ is typified by widespread destruction and disparity, and any number of recent headlines bear this out all too well. In Mali, 4.6 million people are threatened with starvation following Islamist advances in the north. Starvation threatens more than 7 million citizens in Afghanistan as over 90% of the country’s agriculture is destroyed by drought. In Somalia, Islamist militants deprive 1.3 million people of food, clean water and health care after banning humanitarian aid. In Chad, children starve to death as Islamic ‘doctors’ with ‘healing gifts from Allah’ throw common sense to the wind. Iran: Female Swimmer’s Time Goes Unrecorded Because Her Head-To-Toe Bathing Suit Was ‘Too Revealing’

A Kingdom Divided: Sunni-Shiite War Spills Over Onto The Streets Of Australia, ‘It’s Very Frightening, What Is Happening’
Prophecy unfolds as the Day of the Lord approaches …
Zechariah 14:13, “And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.”
Daniel 2:41, “Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.”

By Rachel Olding, The Sydney Morning Herald – “It was not so much a death threat as a declaration of war.
‘You wanna go to war, you f—in’ Shia dogs?’ the phone message says. ‘We’re taking all of you to war, in Sydney and overseas!’
It was 8pm and Jamal Daoud, an aspiring politician from Auburn was having dinner with his wife and children. An outspoken critic of the Free Syrian Army, Daoud is accustomed to abuse but this call was more frightening than most.

The Syrian conflict, which pits the Sunni-dominated rebellion against the Alawite regime of President Bashar al-Assad, has split the Middle East in two; the Sunni regimes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar and large Sunni population in Lebanon on one side, Iran, the Lebanese militia Hezbollah and the broader Shiite Muslim population, of which the Alawites are an offshoot, on the other.
In Sydney, it is splitting suburbs along the same sectarian lines.

Pakistan: Christian Woman On Death Row For ‘Blaspheming’ Mohammed Forced To Remain In Prison For At Least 2 More Years
Hebrews 13:3, “Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.”
By Rana Tanveer, The Tribune – “Aasia Bibi, the Christian woman on death row whose blasphemy conviction was decried as unjust by slain former governor Salmaan Taseer, faces a wait of at least another two years behind bars before her appeal is likely to come up before the Lahore High Court.
Bibi, 45, has been jailed since June 19, 2009, when her neighbours in a village near Nankana Sahib accused her of making derogatory remarks about the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). An additional district and sessions judge convicted and sentenced her to death in November 2010, pending confirmation of the decision by the LHC.
The case attracted the attention of then Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer, who visited Bibi in jail and denounced her conviction as well as the blasphemy law. A couple of months later, Taseer – and any hope Aasia Bibi had of a quick release was killed in a hail of bullets fired by his own bodyguard.
Some two-and-a-half years later, Bibi is waiting for a date to be fixed for the hearing of her appeal. The court has a large backlog of cases and is currently hearing appeals filed at the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009. Appeals filed at the end of 2010 are due to come up in 2015…
Aslam Pervez Sahotra, the chairman of the Human Liberation Commission Pakistan, a group that lobbies for greater awareness of human rights, said that he had sent a request to the chief justice of Pakistan that Bibi’s appeal be heard as soon as possible, but had received no response.
He said that Aasia Bibi faced threats from fellow inmates and her jailers at Sheikhupura Jail. She was reported to have been badly beaten by a jail staffer in October 2011. ‘For her safety, and because of the many lacunae in her conviction, her appeal should be heard immediately. Few details are available on this matter, but it seems other staffers did little to stop the violation of jail rules that occurred. The abuse or manhandling of a detainee is, of course, prohibited. The guilty warden has since been suspended — but even this action seems to have come rather late in the day, and perhaps many people will support what the warden did (just like how many support what Mumtaz Qadri has done). The lack of accomplishments from “Islamic civilization” is not because those who adhere to Islam and its laws are intellectually deficient. Rather, they are “intellectually deficient” because they adhere to Islam and its laws. And therein lies the impetus to change the times from those that are historically accurate, to those that are anything but …
Daniel 7:25a, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws …”

By Ali Hassan, Annaqued via No Compulsion – “I can say with confidence that the only civilization attributed to religion is the so-called ‘Islamic civilization’. Other civilizations do not base themselves on religion. We do not hear about the ‘Christian civilization’, the ‘Jewish civilization’ or the ‘Buddhist civilization’.
When I was a student in the Arab schools, I studied a curriculum module or unit called ‘Islamic civilization’ which was taught by a Salafist Imam. His whole curriculum was a biography of the Salafists ‘Ahlu Sunna’ group; a group that wants to follow the works of Muhammad’s times and the early Muslims. All we studied was ‘so and so said…‘ and ‘the Shari’a tells us to do such and such…’ the whole curricuum was designed for ‘Islamic brainwashing’. The instructor Imam never gave a smile in his lectures and taught topics that had no relation to civilization. For me, this class was ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back’ and that led me to go and finish my studies in the lands of the heathens.
The class that I took with this Imam was no more than an insult to my intellect. The course was filled with mumbo jumbo about Islam along with some inherited beliefs about the Jews and the Christians.
Who is the genius who came up with the term ‘Islamic civilization’?
But wait for a minute …!
Those who coined the term ‘Islamic civilization’ speak about (at most) the seven centuries before the Ottoman empire appeared on the world stage. We can’t speak about the ‘Turkish times’ since that is the Turkish time and not the time of the Islamic civilization. I am talking about the seven centuries where the lands Muslims ruled were in their ‘golden age’.
Now, greater civilizations of the past left us witnesses to their accomplishments. The Romans did. So did the Greeks, the Mayas and the Chinese. The great Egyptian civilization of old left us the Pyramids – one of their witnesses to their accomplishments.
Where is the evidence for the Muslims civilization? Is it the Ummayyad Mosque in Damascus? This was no more than a Christian church that the Muslims took over and converted to a mosque, just to annoy the Christians and make their life as uncomfortable as possible.
The old civilizations had their greatest accomplishments in the proximity of their origins. For Muslims this is the Mecca and Medina areas. But there are no accomplishments there. All there is is a pre-Islamic black stone enclosed within a mud cube. There is nothing worth mentioning in Mecca or Medina. Even in other areas Muslims accomplished nothing. In the example of Spain, Muslims took over buildings by force from the original natives, and stayed there, unwelcome, until the natives had enough power to get rid of the Muslims. Had not the Muslims been kicked out of Spain, we would have today Kandahar instead of Marbella and Waziristan rather than Mallorca and Mogadesho instead of Barcelona.
