The world bore witness to the miraculous rebirth of Israel and the regathering of the Jewish people from the four corners of the earth to their ancestral home, to a land they would finally restore and dwell in safely in the aftermath of WWII and the genocide of over 60% of all Jews in Europe. But since its revival, Israel has had to contend with hostile neighbors in order to maintain the security of its people. Today, as we approach the end of this age, a new threat looms on the horizon in the form of one whom the prophet Ezekiel called “Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal” (Ezekiel 38:2). Students of Biblical eschatology recognize this as modern day Turkey. As the stage sets for its coming fulfillment, Turkey is already issuing threats and “making preparations.” But as the leader of Turkey vows to end the Jewish state, he has no idea whatsoever that the only end he foresees is not Israel’s, but his own …

Ezekiel 38:8,18,22, 39:4, “In the latter years you [the leader of modern day Turkey] will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely … on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord GOD, my wrath will be roused in my anger… With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur… You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured…”

FOX News – “Turkey’s rhetoric and positions on the Israel-Hamas war have paved the way for closer ties with Iran, which both nations will explore as they seek to resolve long-standing issues.

‘Compartmentalization has long been the name of the game for the Iran-Turkey relationship under the Islamic Republic and AKP, respectively,’ Behnam Ben Taleblu, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital. Turkey has found itself at odds with its NATO allies, most of whom have backed Israel’s right to defend itself following the Hamas terrorist attack on Oct. 7, while Turkey has echoed the stances of other Middle Eastern nations in questioning Israel and defending the Palestinians.
