Breitbart had gone to CAIR’s Pulse press conference to ask what steps Islamic groups are taking to distance American Muslims from orthodox Islamic scripture which frequently and clearly urge the expulsion, humiliation and the murder of homosexuals.

The press conference was to be held Friday at 5 pm by the Council for American-Islamic Relations at their Capitol Hill headquarters.

CAIR has been declared a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates and was named by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas-funding operation.

But before the event began, CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told the Breitbart reporter to leave. When the Breitbart reporter asked for an explanation, Hooper told an aide to ‘Call the police.’

‘We have a person in our building that we asked to leave, and they’re not leaving,’ the deputy said into his phone.

Breitbart respects property rights, and left without bother.

The ejection is not a surprise. This is the second time this reporter has been kept out of a CAIR press conference, and the second time he has been told to leave CAIR’s headquarters.

Breitbart has frequently noted that the CAIR group is so closely entwined with Islamists and with jihadis that court documents and news reports show that at least five of its people — either board members, employees or former employees — have been jailed or repatriated for various financial and terror-related offenses.” Read more.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer asked Gov. Rick Scott to declare a state of emergency following the attack.

The gunman was identified as Omar Mateen, Rep. Alan Grayson said during a Sunday morning press conference. Mateen was a U.S. citizen, Grayson said, though that was ‘not true of other family members of his.’ Mateen, 29, lived in Fort Pierce, Fla. He was born in the U.S. to parents of Afghan origin and was a Muslim, Fox News confirmed.

Authorities were going through Mateen’s belongings on Sunday morning trying to identify a motive for the attack, Grayson said.

‘More likely than not, that it was an ideologically motivated attack,’ Grayson said, though he said it was unclear if Mateen was linked to any terror groups.

‘It’s not coincidence the attack took place where it did and when it did,’ Grayson said.

Orlando Regional Medical Center called in six trauma surgeons, including a pediatric surgeon, as victims poured in, Dr. Michael Cheatham said. Many of the wounded were ‘critically ill’ due to their injuries, Cheatham said, and the hospital was trying to reach out to their families.

The shooting in Orlando at Pulse, which bills itself as ‘the hottest gay bar’ in the city and was packed with more than 300 people for ‘Latin Night,’ was reported minutes after 2 a.m. Sunday. In addition to those killed inside the club, at least 53 people were taken to area hospitals. Capt. Ahmad Othman, who works in Brooklyn’s 73rd Precinct, has been placed on desk duty while the investigation continues.

Othman’s not alone — sources said other captains are under scrutiny as well. The NYPD is already investigating the results of the 2015 lieutenant’s test.

Othman, 36, was one of 14 captains promoted on June 26, 2015, in a ceremony at police headquarters.

One of his fellow promotees that day was Scott Forster, the captain now infamous for failing to show at the hospital where two shot and wounded officers were taken on Feb. 20.

Othman has enjoyed a relatively fast rise in the NYPD, having joined the department in 2005, working out of the 120th Precinct in Staten Island.

When he was promoted a decade later, the NYPD’s Muslim Officers Society tweeted, ‘Congratulations to Ahmad Othman on his promotion to Captain and being the first Palestinian Muslim Captain in NYPD.’

The Daily News reported Thursday that nine sergeants are suing the city alleging the results of the 2015 lieutenant’s test were tainted by cheating.

The lawsuit alleges that cops missed the initial test date on purpose to take a makeup test the following week in order to get the answers. The passage rate in the makeup test was far higher than on the initial test date.

Othman, who took the test a day late, is suspected of something similar.” Read more.

Associated Press – “The Islamic State group has trained at least 400 fighters to target Europe in deadly waves of attacks, deploying interlocking terror cells like the ones that struck Brussels and Paris with orders to choose the time, place and method for maximum carnage, officials have told The Associated Press.

The network of agile and semiautonomous cells shows the reach of the extremist group in Europe even as it loses ground in Syria and Iraq. The officials, including European and Iraqi intelligence officials and a French lawmaker who follows the jihadi networks, described camps in Syria, Iraq and possibly the former Soviet bloc where attackers are trained to attack the West. Before being killed in a police raid, the ringleader of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks claimed he had entered Europe in a multinational group of 90 fighters, who scattered ‘more or less everywhere.’

But the biggest break yet in the Paris attacks investigation — the arrest on Friday of fugitive Salah Abdeslam— did not thwart the multipronged attack just four days later on the Belgian capital’s airport and metro that left 31 people dead and an estimated 270 wounded. Three suicide bombers also died.

Just as in Paris, Belgian authorities were searching for at least one fugitive in Tuesday’s attacks — this time for a man wearing a white jacket who was seen on airport security footage with the two suicide attackers. The fear is that the man, whose identity Belgian officials say is not known, will find Abdeslam’s path instructive.

After fleeing Paris immediately after the November attacks, Abdeslam forged a new network back in his childhood neighborhood of Molenbeek, long known as a haven for jihadis, and renewed plotting, according to Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.

‘Not only did he drop out of sight, but he did so to organize another attack, with accomplices everywhere. With suicide belts. Two attacks organized just like in Paris. And his arrest, since they knew he was going to talk, it was a response: ‘So what if he was arrested? We’ll show you that it doesn’t change a thing,” said French Senator Nathalie Goulet, co-head of a commission tracking jihadi networks.

ISIS celebrates Brussels massacre by handing out candy to children

IndiaToday – “After claiming the responsibility of the attacks in Brussels that killed more than 30 people, ISIS has threatened to bring ‘dark days’ in the countries trying to bring down the militant organisation.

In a statement ISIS said a ‘secret cell of soldiers’ had launched the attack. The statement was published in Arabic and French, and an English translation was provided by the SITE Intelligence Group.

‘We vow to bring dark days to the crusader nations that have allied themselves against the Islamic State, in response to their aggression against our state,’ the statement read.

The terrorist organisation said, ‘what awaits you will be even harsher, even more bitter, by the permission of Allah’. It also released photos showing the fighters in Syria giving candies to children to celebrate the Brussels attacks, reports The Independent.

Belgium’s Interior Minister Jan Jambon revealed that authorities knew about some kind of an extremist act being prepared in Europe but were unaware and surprised by the scale of it.

During a house search in the Brussels neighborhood of Schaerbeek a nail bomb was found. Investigators also found chemical products and an Islamic State flag. The search began after a tip from the driver who claims to have ‘unwittingly dropped the bombers to the airport’.” Source – IndiaToday.

Or than to those who sit in prison. Not content with becoming low-grade Muslims, they’re making the best possible use of their time today by ensuring they’ll be ready tomorrow to “fight with their goods and persons” immediately upon release …

By Charlie Peat, Daily Express – “JIHADIS are being trained up inside some of the most secure British prisons in preparation to join barbaric Islamic State, it has been claimed.

Extremists are carrying out mock beheadings and taught how to slit the throat of a bound captive, according to prison sources.

The shocking revelations claim that would-be terrorists are being given lessons in how to carry out mass killings during supposed ‘evening classes’ – the Daily Star Sunday has reported.

Held in cells – fanatics inside category A prisons such as Belmarsh, Whitemoor and Long Lartin – are using diagrams and models to teach jihadi recruits how to construct a booby trap, make the poison Ricin and create explosives from just garden fertiliser.

The government believes around 1,000 prisoners are at risk of being radicalised.

English jails currently hold 131 Islamist inmates convicted of terrorist offences.

One senior prison source said: ‘We have caught terrorist prisoners showing other inmates how to carry out an execution. When we ask what they are doing, the inmates claim they are messing around – but it’s clear that they are involved in something far more sinister.

‘There are now so many hardened terrorists in top-security prisons in England that in some cases they are ‘running’ wings.’

Our insider added: ‘The terrorists recruit and radicalise young Muslim men and tell them that the only people who will give them a chance in the future are radical Islamists.

‘We have seen them reenacting beheadings and found diagrams of IEDs. Prisons are now the main recruiting grounds for terrorist groups.'” Read more.
