All Remaining Living Hostages Return To Israel As Trump Declares “The End Of An Age Of Terror And Death”

We can all breathe a collective sigh of thankful relief with the return of all 20 living hostages from Hamas captivity. As much as I support President Trump and wish to share in his optimism, however, declaring that “the age of terror and death” has ended is, frankly, naive and delusional. The age of terror and death is far from over and what was signed today is not a miraculous “peace deal” but a myopic pipe dream. It pains me to sound like a killjoy, but we need to face a very sobering reality, not be divorced from it. According to the surrounding Muslim nations, there can be no “peace” until Israel is destroyed. As long as this Islamic hatred of Israel continues to ferment and terror continues to flourish across the surrounding nations and beyond, there will be no peace. Only the end of Islam and its wicked lawlessness can truly bring peace. And its end will only come when the Messiah — the Prince of Peace Himself — returns to destroy it …

The Times of Israel – “Israel joined the families in celebration on Monday as Hamas released the 20 remaining living hostages under the Gaza ceasefire deal brokered by US President Donald Trump, who came to Israel to mark the event.

Hamas is yet to release the remains of 28 dead hostages, despite being required to do so under the deal that would bring some closure to the national trauma that began when the terror group took 251 hostages back to Gaza after massacring some 1,200 people on October 7, 2023.

Middle East Media Research Institute – “In August 22- 29, 2025, a high-level Islamic conference was held in Istanbul under the title ‘Gaza: An Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility.’ Sponsored by Turkey and Qatar and attended by 150 senior Muslim clerics from 50 countries, the conference was aimed at expressing unequivocal support for the Hamas terrorist organization and opposition to its disarmament, and at mobilizing the Islamic nation to wage jihad against Israel, in all its forms.

The conference was sponsored by a Turkish government body, the Presidency of Religious Affairs, and initiated by the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS). The latter organization is funded and backed by Qatar and Turkey and functions as their arm for the dissemination of extremist Islamist ideology that incites jihad and terrorism against Israel and the West. At the close of the conference, Turkish President Recep Erdogan met with a delegation of conference participants and expressed his support for the event and for its decisions.

In addition to expressing firm support for Hamas and its struggle against Israel, and opposition to disarming it, the closing statement of the conference set out a military, political, economic and legal roadmap for support for Hamas and the struggle against Israel, while blatantly challenging the foreign and domestic policy of several Arab countries. It called to mobilize the Islamic nation for jihad and to breach the sea, air, and land blockade on the Gaza Strip ‘by every means,’ albeit without specifying what these means might be…

In the statement, the conference organizers attributed immense importance to the event, describing it as a turning point and ‘the beginning of the end of the Zionist occupation project.’ This echoes the official Qatari-Turkish stance that endorses the position of Hamas, which persists in its jihad against Israel and refuses to surrender its weapons…

… The conference was led by Ali Al-Qaradaghi, chairman of the IUMS, which is based in Qatar and receives both Qatari and Turkish funding to disseminate extremist Islamist and anti-Western ideology and a discourse of hatred and incitement to jihad, terrorism and anti-Semitism. Al-Qaradaghi, known for his extremist positions, recently stated that Islamic countries must wage jihad to save the people of Gaza, and called on Jordan and Egypt to open their borders and allow their residents to march into Israel…

The closing statement of the conference was read out by IUMS chairman Ali Al-Qaradaghi at a gathering held by some of the participants at the Aya Sophia in Istanbul, a former Byzantine church that was recently converted into a mosque.

The statement begins by asserting the necessity to wage jihad: ‘The Islamic nation must be generally prepared [itself] with knowledge, military force, reverence for Allah, and jihad for the sake of Allah in all its forms. Allah said: ‘And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy…’ (Quran 8:60). He also said: ‘O believers! Shall I show you a bargain that will deliver you from a painful punishment? [It is to] have faith in Allah and His Messenger, and wage jihad in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if only you knew.’ (Quran 61:10-11) …’

Israel And Hamas Reach Agreement On Phase One Of Trump “Peace Deal” To Release Hostages By End Of Weekend

If there are no last-minute snags, this should finally bring the remaining hostages home, though there’s the potential that some who are deceased may not be recovered for some time. That being said, let’s not be fools. This is only a PAUSE, not a PEACE. Genuine peace with the “Zionist enemy” is something that is anathema to the modus operandi and the mission of a Jew-hating, genocidal Islamist death cult like Hamas. Even if they put on the appearance of doing so, Hamas will never really disarm. They will never relinquish power. They will never renounce terrorism. They will never fully retreat into exile. It’s just not in the blood of those who are perpetually blood drunk by divine dictate.

Backed into a corner, giving up hostages was a relatively easy compromise to make. If Hamas refused then Israel’s onslaught would have been unrelenting and Hamas would have likely lost many of the hostages, either by being inadvertently killed during combat or by rescue. And fewer hostages means far fewer terrorists released from Israeli prisons in any exchange. It was really the only choice Hamas could make, one that was made easier now that their largest supporters in the Islamic world — Turkey and Qatar (both now suddenly on the receiving end with the promise of significant military upgrades and security guarantees from the US, respectively) — were now exerting significant pressure on Hamas to accept. Especially if, behind the scenes, Hamas had been made aware of other plans being plotted for a future surprise assault against the “Zionist” enemy.

The Jerusalem Post – “Negotiators in Egypt reached a deal to free the remaining hostages in Gaza and eventually end the Israel-Hamas War, US President Donald Trump announced early Thursday morning.

‘I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan,’ Trump wrote.

‘This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.’

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he will bring the cabinet for a vote on the deal Thursday.

Israeli soldiers who served in Gaza reported seeing those same images in homes around Gaza after the Islamic Jihadist group had spent a generation riling up the Muslim population to launch a holy war to conquer Jerusalem.

And it’s not just Hamas.

Arafat had constantly proclaimed his vision of “millions of martyrs marching to Jerusalem.” That line is still broadcast by Palestinian Authority media which declares it to be their great mission.

Muslims in Gaza are not dying to create a state that polls show most of them don’t believe will ever exist. They’re killing and dying in a religious Jihad to take over Jerusalem.

Every effort to create a ‘Palestinian’ state failed because a state was never the real goal, but a means to the real end, the capture of Jerusalem and its holy sites. The idea that the panoply of fake nationalism, flags, ministries, and an anthem, are just a false front for a religious crusade may be incomprehensible to secularized western nations, but Islam is religious, not nationalistic.

Sounds like Hamas is trying to pull a fast one. With widespread Western and Arab support of Trump’s “peace deal” Hamas knows they’re cornered. As expected, however, the Islamic terrorist organization is working overtime to appear as though they’ve responded positively to the proposal … while demanding to “enter into negotiations to discuss the details.” It’s a ruse. At best, Hamas has only partially agreed to the peace plan. Anything short of the release of all living and deceased hostages would result in an immediate and unfettered IDF offensive against all remaining Hamas holdouts throughout Gaza City and beyond. And they know it. How quickly all hostages can be released — assuming Hamas knows where all are — is still to be determined, but the issue with the hostages is something Hamas is willing to compromise on. Beyond the hostages, however, the real crux of the “peace deal” involves the status of Hamas itself as a fighting and politically influential force. Disarm? Give up power? Renounce terrorism? A statement from Hamas said, ‘After thorough review, the following response was conveyed to the mediators: Hamas appreciates the Arab, Islamic, and international efforts, as well as those of US President Donald Trump, calling for an end to the war in the Gaza Strip, a prisoner exchange, the immediate entry of humanitarian aid, the rejection of the occupation of the Gaza Strip, and the displacement of our Palestinian people from it.’

Hamas continued, ‘In this context, and to achieve a cessation of hostilities and a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the movement announces its agreement to release all Israeli hostages, both living and deceased, in accordance with the exchange formula included in President Trump’s proposal, provided that the necessary conditions on the ground are met. In this regard, the movement confirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss the details.’

The organization also said it ‘reaffirms its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to an independent Palestinian body (technocrats) based on Palestinian national consensus and supported by Arab and Islamic backing.’

‘The other issues raised in President Trump’s proposal regarding the future of the Gaza Strip and the authentic rights of the Palestinian people are tied to a comprehensive national stance, based on relevant international laws and resolutions, and will be addressed within a comprehensive Palestinian national framework in which Hamas will participate and bear full responsibility,’ the organization said.

Tasnim News Agency – “Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh and his Turkish counterpart Yasar Guler met in Ankara, where they discussed expanding military cooperation and signaled intentions to build a stronger regional security partnership.

General Nasirzadeh, who has traveled to Ankara at the official invitation of Turkish Chief of General Staff General Yasar Guler, held talks with senior Turkish officials, saying the visit provided a platform for direct discussions on bilateral defense cooperation and wider regional issues.

Highlighting cultural and religious ties, Nasirzadeh said Iran and Turkey share broad common ground, adding that differences are minor compared with shared interests.

He said strengthening defense ties with neighboring countries is a priority for Tehran.

He described Turkey as a key Muslim nation with political, economic and military influence, adding that stronger military cooperation could help address challenges facing the Islamic world and the region.

Referring to recent regional tensions, Nasirzadeh condemned Israeli regime for its criminal aggressions across Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and even Qatar.

But the bigger secret is this: Turkey hosts American nuclear weapons at Incirlik Air Base. For decades, those warheads have been the insurance policy that keeps Ankara untouchable. No one in Washington dares talk about it, but it is why Turkey is treated as indispensable, even when it plays footsie with Moscow and Hamas.

And make no mistake — Ankara is not hiding its loyalties. Erdoğan has rolled out the red carpet for Hamas leadership, posing for cameras while denouncing Israel. He blasts the Jewish State in every speech, then cashes in NATO chips with Washington the next day. The message is clear: you can host terrorists on Saturday and still sign weapons deals with the Americans on Monday.

For Israel, this is not ‘strategic diplomacy.’ It is a betrayal. A U.S.-Turkey reset risks laundering Erdoğan’s Hamas ties under the cover of NATO. Washington tells itself that keeping Turkey close will moderate it, but the evidence screams the opposite. Erdoğan pockets the jets, the nukes, the leverage — and Hamas gets legitimacy from a NATO capital.

Destined For Failure: Hamas Refuses To Disarm As Trump Announces “Eternal” Peace Deal To End War In Gaza

Call me a pessimist, but let’s be real. Every single “peace deal” between religiously-driven Jew-hating jihadist death cults — whether Hamas or the Palestinian Authority — and Israel have been abject failures. Israeli PM Netanyahu knows this plan will prove to be no different yet has endorsed it. Why? Because it allows Israel to exist and forces Hamas into a corner. But since the existence of Israel is antithetical to Islam and Hamas’ stated goal to destroy Israel, Hamas leadership is refusing to disarm. To disarm would be akin to surrendering to the “Zionist enemy” — like spitting in the face of “Allah” and the “divine” commandments of their “prophet” who instructs all followers to kill every last Jew on earth to usher in an Islamic “judgment day.” Even if Hamas is eventually pressured to “accept” this deal and agreed to disarm on paper, it would most certainly be yet another deceptive ruse.

Any “peace” plan that ends terrorism against the “Zionist occupiers” and ensures its security also directly contradicts the modus operandi that Muslims are required to imitate. The “prophet” Mohammed’s path to victory is necessitated by Islam, not only to be victorious against the enemies of Islam but also as the only guarantee that ensures an eternal reward in paradise, namely, the “divine” call for jihad, for terror, and for martyrdom in the cause of “Allah.”

Working towards real peace is always an honorable goal. Unfortunately, just as genuine peace with Jews and the existence of a Jewish state on the coast of the Mediterranean with Jerusalem as its capital was anathema to the dictates and vision of Islam yesterday, today is no different. The only ones who do not understand this are those who do not understand Islam. Those who understand, however, know that this “eternal” peace deal is destined to fail …

The Jerusalem Post – “US President Donald Trump stated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to his 21-point plan to create peace in Gaza following a meeting in the White House on Monday.

Trump said that the US would be involved in Israel’s security after the ceasefire agreement.

Trump said that if his deal were accepted by Hamas, all of the hostages, living and dead, would be released almost immediately.

He added that he intends to end the war itself, and that he was ‘hearing that Hamas wants to get this done.’

He also stated that during his meeting with Netanyahu, the Israeli PM clearly stated his opposition to a Palestinian state.

He also slammed other countries that had ‘foolishly’ recognized a Palestinian state.

Trump said that if Hamas rejects the deal that Israel has agreed to, he would give Israel the backing to destroy Hamas.

‘And if Hamas rejects the deal, which is always possible, they’re the only one left. Everyone else has accepted it, but I have a feeling that we’re going to have a positive answer,’ he said. ‘But if not, as you know, Bibi, you have our full backing to do what you would.’

In addition, he said Israel and others were ‘beyond very close’ to reaching an agreement on ending the war in Gaza.

There are unconfirmed reports that many of them are being transferred, carrying weapons, to al-Mawasi, a designated humanitarian zone, and Deir al-Balah, a central Gazan area. Ofer urged Israeli officials not to think only in the short term. ‘Hamas has said it clearly,’ he stated. ‘It understands that formally, it will not remain in power in Gaza. In the short term, Hamas will agree to expert committees.
