The Tower – “Hussein Sheikholeslam, a senior adviser to Iran’s Speaker of Parliament, told the Hamas-affiliated newspaper al-Resalah that Tehran ‘reject[s] the existence of any Israeli on this earth,’ a position he says Iran relayed to the P5+1 powers during the nuclear negotiations, The Times of Israel reported Wednesday. According to Sheikholeslam, Iran ‘will do everything to renew’ its support for Hamas, which Tehran lessened in retaliation to the Sunni group’s opposition to the regime of Bashar al-Assad after the outbreak of the Syrian civil war.

Sheikholeslam’s comments are the latest in a series of threats issued against Israel by Iran since the Islamic Republic signed a nuclear agreement with the P5+1 powers last month.

A video posted on a website linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), titled ‘Preparation of the complete destruction of Israel by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Islamic Revolution in Iran,’ called for Israel’s ‘erasure from the annals of history,’ according to another report in The Times of Israel on Wednesday. The clip depicts an invasion of Jerusalem by an Islamic army that includes Hamas and Hezbollah among its ranks.

Earlier this week, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on his English-language Twitter account that Iran will ‘take all possible means to support anyone who fights Israel, is against the Zionist regime and supports resistance.’

Khamenei has often taken to Twitter to issue threats against Israel and the United States. Last month, the Supreme Leader tweeted a graphic depicting President Barack Obama with a gun to his head and deriding the ‘aggressive and criminal U.S.’ This past November, also on Twitter, Khamenei called for arming Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, and shared his nine-point plan for the ‘elimination of Israel.’

In a speech delivered only four days after Iran signed the nuclear accord with the P5+1 powers and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), Khamenei emphasized Iran’s ongoing hostility towards Israel and the United States, saying, ‘The slogans of the Iranian nation on Al-Qods Day show what its position is. The slogans ‘Death to Israel’ and ‘Death to America’ have resounded throughout the country, and are not limited to Tehran and the other large cities. Its supporters have found Mohammed’s name on the planet Pluto and are demanding that the frozen world on the fringes of the solar system be renamed ‘The Moon of Mohammed’.

Considering that Pluto was the Roman god of the underworld (not to be confused with the Disney dog), naming the abyssal dwarf planet after Mohammed might almost be appropriate. Christians identified Pluto with Satan. Pluto is cold rather than hot, but like the Islamic State, it’s nowhere you want to be.

But at some point we’ll no doubt have to rename Pluto, Mohammed. It will fulfill NASA’s new Prime Directive, given to it by Obama, of enhancing Muslim self-esteem. Pluto will become part of the Dar-al-Islam, off limits to any infidel robot spacecraft that might taint its holy frozen surface.

And to do otherwise would be Islamophobic.

Meanwhile back here on earth, Israeli police arrested a fourth person for calling Mohammed a pig. While we don’t have the full story yet, Avia Morris, the first person arrested described being taunted with cries of ‘Allahu Akbar’  and ‘Kill the Jews’ along with signs of support for ISIS. But it only became a legal matter when the twenty-year-old woman retorted, ‘Mohammed is a pig.’

Calling for the death of infidels isn’t a crime. Insulting Mohammed is.

Avia got off lucky. When a young woman named Tatiana Soskin drew Mohammed as a pig scrawling in a Koran, the Clinton administration was more outraged by this than by the World Trade Center bombing.

Its spokesman said that it gave ‘great thought to this… at the very highest levels of our government.’

It denounced the ‘outrageous, crude and sick portrayal of the Prophet Mohammed’ and claimed, ‘This woman is either sick or she is evil… she deserves to be put on trial for these outrageous attacks on Islam.’

That rant didn’t come from some storefront Mullah or Bin Laden clutching his assault rifle in a cave on an Al Jazeera video. It came from the twisted mind of a sick and evil appeasement administration.

Sick and evil might have been a better description of Mohammed’s practice of sex slavery than of a young woman who drew a cartoon of a rapist as a pig. When the Caliph of the Islamic State was revealed to have taken American hostage Kayla Mueller as his slave, he was following the law of Mohammed.

As ISIS put it, ‘Enslaving the families of the kuffar (non-Muslims) and taking their women as concubines is a firmly established aspect of the Shariah (Islamic law) that if one were to deny or mock, he would be denying or mocking the verses of the Koran and the narrations of the Prophet.’

Was Mohammed a pig? He raped a little girl, forced his son to divorce his slave wife so he could have her, and took a number of captured non-Muslim women as slaves the same way the ISIS Caliph did. Their numbers included a number of captured Jewish women, Safiyah and Rayhana, as well as Arab women such as Juwayriyah. Rape and sexual slavery was a way of life for Mohammed and his men.

By any civilized standard, Mohammed was a pig and worse. And yet instead of calling out those who praise a rapist and a pedophile, we lock up the young women who dare call out his piggishness.

There is no reason to be surprised that these piggish habits should also be a way of life for his followers.” Read more.

FOX News – “ISIS militants have beheaded an 82-year-old archaeologist who had been in charge of overseeing the ancient site at Palmyra in Syria, a government official said Tuesday.

Syrian state antiquities chief Maamoun Abdulkarim told Reuters that the family of Khaled Asaad had informed Abdulkarim that Asaad had been beheaded earlier in the day and his body hanged from a column in the town’s main square.

Asaad’s death was also reported by the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Observatory, which has a network of activists on the ground in Syria, said dozens of people gathered to witness the killing.

Abdulkarim said that Asaad had been held and interrogated by members of the terror group for over a month before his death. The official said that Asaad’s captors had been looking for information about where the town’s treasures had been hidden to save them from ISIS, but they had no success getting the information from the scholar.

ISIS seized Palmyra, whose Roman-era ruins attracted thousands of tourists prior to Syria’s civil war, from government forces in May. In the days and weeks before the city fell, Syrian officials said they had moved hundreds of statues out of concern that they would be destroyed by ISIS fighters.

‘Just imagine that such a scholar who gave such memorable services to the place and to history would be beheaded … and his corpse still hanging from one of the ancient columns in the center of a square in Palmyra,’ Abdulkarim said. ‘The continued presence of these criminals in this city is a curse and bad omen on (Palmyra) and every column and every archaeological piece in it.'” Read more.

By Sharona Schwartz, The Blaze – “A new video out of Iran presents the imagined scenario of Jerusalem being conquered by a military alliance of the country’s Revolutionary Guard forces and Hezbollah and Hamas terrorists, a Jewish news site reported Tuesday.

Quoting the Middle East terrorism research organization the Investigative Project, the Algemeiner reported that the video was released two weeks after the Iran nuclear deal was announced.

The video showed the fighters preparing for battle with their gear, headbands, shoes and weapons, then descending on Jerusalem.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly pointed to Iran’s continued sponsorship of international terrorist groups including Hezbollah and to its dedication to destroying Israel as two reasons he believes the deal is dangerous for Israel.

The Algemeiner detailed the lineup of fighters portrayed in the video which, according to the Investigative Project, was produced by the Islamic Revolution Design House: ‘One dons the IRGC [Revolutionary Guards] insignia on his left arm, another the emblem of the Iran-backed Iraqi Shia Badr Organization. Yet a third dons a headband bearing the Lebanese Hezbollah logo, and a fourth is seen clad in Hamas’ characteristic balaclava and the Qassam Brigades green headband.’

The animated video shows the soldiers approaching Jerusalem, with the iconic yellow dome of the Dome of the Rock situated on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism and third-holiest site in Islam.

Later in the video, a wider shot is presented, showing dozens of fighters on a hilltop across from the holy city.

At the end, Persian script appears saying ‘Israel must be obliterated,’ or literally, ‘erased from the annals of history … and the youth will definitely see that day when it comes,’ the Algemeiner noted.” Read more.

Report: Hamas Agrees To Multi-Year “Cease-Fire” With Israel

I wish it were peace, but it isn’t. Peace with Israel is expressly forbidden in Hamas’ own charter and would be an affront to the very teachings of Islam. If reports of a cease-fire are true, Hamas would simply be agreeing to a “hudna” — a temporary truce with zero potential for true peace — that merely maintains a certain duration of relative calm in order to allow the terror organization to regroup and rearm for the next war with Israel. Again. And, no, it’s not a seven-year “peace treaty” that many of our hyper-futurist brothers and sisters believe will one day happen (which in all likelihood will never come to fruition). Regardless, if news coming out of Israel has anything to do with signing treaties or red heifers, it’ll get many dispensational prophecy forums buzzing …

The sources, speaking to WND from the Gaza Strip, said Israel gave support to Egypt to accept a Hamas delegation for further talks on the proposed long-term cease-fire.

After discussions in Egypt, the Hamas delegation, headed by Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, will travel to Qatar and Turkey for more input on the deal, which is being brokered by former Quartet envoy and ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The Hamas sources said the current version of the truce, as accepted in theory by Hamas’s politburo, includes a Hamas pledge to stop all rocket fire from Gaza and to cease digging tunnels into Israel.

Hamas also agreed not to operate within 30 meters of the Israeli border, the sources said.

In return, the Hamas sources said, Israel agreed to allow thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to enter the Jewish state for work, a detail that cannot be confirmed with Israeli diplomatic sources.

The Hamas sources said Israel will allow for a larger ‘fishing zone’ off the Gaza coast along with a corridor to connect the Gaza coastline to international waters. Israel, however, would still monitor and inspect ships in the area.

A spokesman for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had no comment on the truce talks or the Hamas claims.

‘Even if her wish was to have contact with (the accused), the Crown would be strongly opposed to any variation of the bail,’ Crown attorney Vuk Mitrovic told court Wednesday.

In the presence of police, the accused ‘was undeterred in committing an assault on his wife,’ Mitrovic said. ‘The attitude he demonstrated … should cause the court grave concern about the safety and protection of the public.’

The accused, who is not being identified to protect the identity of the alleged victim, was arrested June 24 after police responded to a 911 call from his family’s Lorne Avenue apartment.

The man has filed a motion to remove a bail condition prohibiting him from living with his wife and nine children pending resolution of his charges.

‘I have been away from my home and my family (for over a month),’ the man told court through an interpreter. ‘This is a problem according to my faith to be away from my family.’

Court was told the family fled their native Iraq for Syria before arriving in Winnipeg last February. The family suffered persecution from terrorist groups including al-Qaida. While in Syria, one of the man’s children was kidnapped and held for ransom…

‘Christians have become a form [of] currency in this tragedy,’ explained John Newton, spokesman for Aid to the Church in Need, to the Christian Post. ‘I know of one priest who was kidnapped for two months… they asked for a ransom of $120,000, which the family managed to raise and deliver… But hours later, the priest was killed and his body cut up, with pieces of him sent in a box to the family.’

Newton said it is hard for his charity and the others to keep track of the kidnapped priests. Militants kidnapped archbishops throughout 2013 as they tried to rescue two other kidnapped priests.

‘No one knows who took the archbishops, nor what their fate was, but the two priests they were trying to free have since been executed,’ said Newton.

ISIS kidnapped at least eight clergymen in the past year. They captured Father Tony Boutros in July. Militants kidnapped Father Jacques Mourad at the Mar Elyan Monastery, 62 miles from Palmyra, in May.

In July, Pope Francis pleaded with ISIS to release Father Paolo Dall’Oglio. Militants kidnapped him in Syria on July 29, 2013.

‘In a few days, we will mark the second anniversary since, in Syria, Father Paolo Dall’Oglio was kidnapped,’ the pope said. ‘I make a heartfelt and urgent appeal for the freedom of this esteemed religious man.’

Father Douglas Bazi described his experience to the BBC for their ‘Kill the Christians’ documentary. Terrorists ‘struck his back, broke one of his legs, shot him, punched his teeth out, and deprived him of water for four days until a ransom was paid.’ However, it did not keep him down, and he remained in Iraq. He opened the Mar Elias Centre in north Iraq where he now ‘cares for around 135 Christian families.’

‘We are Christian, so we are used to having our luggage always prepared. We always have to run away, escape from place to place,’ he said.

Mosul, Iraq, housed one of the largest Christian communities in the world. But due to ISIS, Iraq’s second largest city is without Christians for the first time in 2,000 years. ISIS told Christians to convert to Islam, pay a protection tax, or die. Witnesses described how the terrorists slaughtered the males in front of everyone while they kidnapped the females for sex slavery. Andrew White, the vicar of the only Anglican Church in Iraq, told BBC Radio 4 that Christianity is coming to an end in the Middle Eastern country.

‘Things are so desperate, our people are disappearing,’ he said, adding:

We have had people massacred, their heads chopped off. The Christians are in grave danger. There are literally Christians living in the desert and on the street. They have nowhere to go. Are we seeing the end of Christianity? We are committed come what may, we will keep going to the end, but it looks as though the end could be very near.

In the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa on 28 July, making an American president’s first speech to the African Union, Obama said ‘Many of these groups claim the banner of religion, but hundreds of millions of African Muslims know that Islam means peace.’

For millions of Muslims, that may be true. For one Muslim cleric, it was not. This is his story.

Tofik grew up in Islamic schools and became an imam in his East African village. Several deeply personal revelations brought him to Christianity, at the risk of his life. In the Horn of Africa as in some other Islamic societies, a former Muslim who becomes Christian is at great risk. Tofik trained to become an imam for 24 years at an Islamic madrasa school in Africa.

‘In school I only learned about Islam,’ he said. ‘Parts of our teaching were about destroying Christianity. So we did what we learned, by attacking Christians once we finished our training.’

He said he was taught that Christians are bad people, and that he and the other students were encouraged to steal from and kill non-Muslims.

‘Our teachers would tell us every time there was a new church in town and we were told to go and attack the people and destroy the church. So that’s what we did,’ Tofik said…

Why did he become Christian? ‘There was an incident in 2002 where I had a vision from the Lord early in the morning around 3 a.m.,’ he said. ‘In the vision I saw Jesus very clearly telling me to follow him.’

‘My wife asked me what happened in my dream, because I woke up very startled, and when I explained it to her she was scared and said, ‘We are going to be infidels, so we need to pray.’’

He told her which Quranic verses Jesus told him to read in his dream, and said they all specifically instruct the reader to follow and believe in Jesus.

Going back to sleep, Tofik said he immediately he had another vision of Jesus.

Speaking to TheBlaze using smartphone messenger application Kik, a representative for the Islamic State Hacking Division said the group is constantly spying on U.S. servicemen. The organization on Tuesday published personal information purporting to belong to U.S. military and government online.

‘Just like they spy on muslims, we are spying on them, watching their employees, watching their soldiers, recording their movements and taking their location information and passing it on to the soldiers of the islamic state,’ the anonymous male member told TheBlaze.

‘they have no security just like their employees and military personnel have no OpSec,’ he continued, ‘they are people who like to brag and boast and this is to our advantage.’

‘the brothers don’t need to attack them in military bases or secured buildings,’ the hacking group member added. ‘they can now turn up in their houses. in their homes. this is war, what did you expect? u think u can bomb the islamic state and we don’t do nothing back? soon, very soon you will see.’

Homeland Insecurity: The FBI’s arrest of a group of New Jersey and New York Muslims trying to organize a “small army” for the Islamic State leaves little doubt we are facing a full-blown Islamic insurgency inside our borders.

According to a just-released federal criminal complaint, five young Muslim men tied to IS were busted conspiring to recruit a small army for the terror group in New Jersey and New York.

The busts bring to 70 the number of IS-inspired terrorists arrested in this country in homeland plots.

Meantime, the FBI reports that all 56 of its field offices have active investigations against other IS suspects.

It’s now clear we’re besieged by a Fifth Column. Yet the White House fatuously insists these are unrelated, unconnected, isolated, one-off “lone wolf” incidents.

Federal agents don’t see it that way. They see all these “lone wolves” running in the same religious pack.

On Monday, agents charged Nader Saadeh, a 20-year-old Jordanian immigrant from Rutherford, N.J., with providing material support to IS. Saadeh’s 23-year-old brother, Alaa, along with at least three other Muslims were also arrested in connection with the IS cell.

The complaint says the devout Muslims “discussed building a small army” to attack non-Muslims. In a recorded conversation, one suspect fretted about NSA surveillance and suggested they leave America, to which another suspect stated: “Why? We already infiltrated.”

“Saadeh sent electronic messages expressing his hatred for the United States and desire to form a small army that would include their friends,” the Justice Department said in a statement. “Saadeh posted on his Facebook page images of ISIL’s flag and the flag of the Islamic caliphate.”

The FBI added Saadeh posted anti-American messages online and repeatedly downloaded IS videos and praised the terror group’s atrocities, including beheadings, burnings and the murder of French cartoonists.

He agreed offending the Muslim prophet Muhammad is “reason to encourage Muslims to kill whoever does that.” Some of the IS suspects arrested earlier allegedly were scouting New York landmarks as possible terror targets, including the George Washington Bridge.

Perhaps most chilling, the radicalization of the Saadeh boys appears to have had the blessing of their Jordanian father, who had been deported from the U.S. along with Saadeh’s mother after “sustaining criminal convictions.” The FBI says the father advised one of his sons to “delete everything off his phone” to avoid federal authorities detecting their plans.

The 16-page complaint notes that agents and informants observed “changes in Saadeh’s appearance and behavior” that coincided with his pledging allegiance to the Islamic State. From late 2014 through April of this year, it says he:

• “Frequently researched Islamic writings and often studied the Quran.”

• “Grew out his beard and dyed it red,” mimicking Muhammad.

• “Began to fast, and stopped drinking, smoking and eating foods that were not permissible under Islamic law.”

• “Began praying five times a day.”

• “Wore traditional Muslim attire in place of the Western clothing he had previously worn.”

• Became “offended and agitated by any conversation or mention of any religion other than Islam.”

• “Converted (others) to Islam.”

These details provide valuable investigative clues for local authorities trying to ferret out other radicalized jihadists in the Muslim community.

Saadeh’s increased piety fits a pattern among IS and other terrorist recruits. The Boston marathon bombers and the Chattanooga shooter underwent the same transformation. The more religious indoctrination they absorbed, the more radical they became.

The FBI complaint contradicts White House claims the terrorists aren’t motivated by religion.

It also suggests that rooting out this problem will require putting more mosques under surveillance.

Because the preteen girl practiced a religion other than Islam, the Quran not only gave him the right to rape her — it condoned and encouraged it, he insisted.

He bound her hands and gagged her. Then he knelt beside the bed and prostrated himself in prayer before getting on top of her.

When it was over, he knelt to pray again, bookending the rape with acts of religious devotion.

‘I kept telling him it hurts — please stop,’ said the girl, whose body is so small an adult could circle her waist with two hands. ‘He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God,’ she said in an interview alongside her family in a refugee camp here, to which she escaped after 11 months of captivity.

The systematic rape of women and girls from the Yazidi religious minority has become deeply enmeshed in the organization and the radical theology of the Islamic State in the year since the group announced it was reviving slavery as an institution. Interviews with 21 women and girls who recently escaped the Islamic State, as well as an examination of the group’s official communications, illuminate how the practice has been enshrined in the group’s core tenets.

The trade in Yazidi women and girls has created a persistent infrastructure, with a network of warehouses where the victims are held, viewing rooms where they are inspected and marketed, and a dedicated fleet of buses used to transport them.

A total of 5,270 Yazidis were abducted last year, and at least 3,144 are still being held, according to community leaders. To handle them, the Islamic State has developed a detailed bureaucracy of sex slavery, including sales contracts notarized by the ISIS-run Islamic courts. And the practice has become an established recruiting tool to lure men from deeply conservative Muslim societies, where casual sex is taboo and dating is forbidden.

A growing body of internal policy memos and theological discussions has established guidelines for slavery, including a lengthy how-to manual issued by the Islamic State Research and Fatwa Department just last month. Repeatedly, the ISIS leadership has emphasized a narrow and selective reading of the Quran and other religious rulings to not only justify violence, but also to elevate and celebrate each sexual assault as spiritually beneficial, even virtuous.

‘Every time that he came to rape me, he would pray,’ said F, a 15-year-old girl who was captured on the shoulder of Mount Sinjar one year ago and was sold to an Iraqi fighter in his 20s. Like some others interviewed by The New York Times, she wanted to be identified only by her first initial because of the shame associated with rape.

‘He kept telling me this is ibadah,’ she said, using a term from Islamic scripture meaning worship.

‘He said that raping me is his prayer to God. I said to him, ‘What you’re doing to me is wrong, and it will not bring you closer to God.’ And he said, ‘No, it’s allowed. It’s halal,’’ said the teenager, who escaped in April with the help of smugglers after being enslaved for nearly nine months.” Read more.
