Japan: Study Says Nuclear Fuel at Fukushima Reactor Possibly Melted Twice

“TOKYO (Kyodo) — Fuel inside one of the reactors at the crippled nuclear complex in Fukushima Prefecture, which was believed to have been kept cool at the bottom of the pressure vessel after its core suffered a meltdown, has possibly breached the vessel after melting again at the bottom of the vessel, an expert’s study showed Monday.

The study by Fumiya Tanabe, an expert in nuclear safety, said most of the fuel at the No. 3 reactor may have fallen into the containment vessel underneath, and if so, the current method used to cool the reactor would need reviewing, which could force the plant operator to revise its schedule to contain the five-month-old disaster.

The plant operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co. earlier said the Nos. 1 to 3 reactors’ cores are assumed to have suffered meltdowns, although the melted fuel is believed to be kept cool and solidified at the bottom of each reactor pressure vessel after water was injected into the vessel as an emergency measure.

After analyzing data made public by the operator, known as TEPCO, Tanabe argues that it became difficult to inject coolant water into the reactor’s pressure vessel after pressure rose inside it from the early hours of March 21.” Read more.

Flashback: Fukushima Nuclear Reactor No. 3 Using Controversial, and Dangerous, MOX Fuel – “Of particular interest here is the fact that MOX is a highly controversial fuel. In a 1997 letter written to then President Bill Clinton, 171 organizations joined together requesting that the President prohibit the use of MOX plutonium fuel in commercial nuclear reactors. Not only was this type of fuel ‘experimental’ at the time the letter was written, it was also more easily utilized into weapons-grade material and ‘increased reactor hazards’ due to technical issues inherent with this type of fuel. ‘Plutonium in the system makes more — and more dangerous — types of radioactivity. This affects the discharges to air and water, and all waste types. Plutonium also affects the fission process itself, making it more difficult to control and leaving an even narrower margin for human error, as well as affecting the physical integrity of the reactor itself.'” Read more.

The Jihad Against the Armenian, Assyrian, and Greek Christians

And let’s not forget the jihad against history itself …

By Janet Levy – “In Germany, where Holocaust denial is punishable by up to five years in prison, Stuttgart University recently capitulated to pressure from resident Turkish Muslims and canceled an event entitled, ‘Persecution, Expulsion and Annihilation of Christians in the Ottoman Empire 1912-1922.’ Ironically, this occurred in a country that was forced to confront its own genocidal past, educate its population and pay restitution to victims. University officials explained that they wanted to ‘remain neutral’ on the subject of the nearly 100-year-old, well-documented Turkish massacre of more than two million Christians. Citing neutrality in the face of crimes against humanity is deeply troubling, particularly in light of Germany’s Holocaust past and the missed opportunity the event represented to educate students about genocide and potentially prevent its recurrence.

Equally troubling is Turkey’s continued denial and banning of information about these crimes, not only within its own borders, but, as exemplified in Germany, within other countries as well. In contrast to Germany where laws since the end of World War II seek to prevent a Holocaust from ever happening again, the Turkish government under Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code, passed in 2005, makes it a crime punishable by up to two years imprisonment to insult the Turkish state. This provision prevents any public commemoration or consideration of the Turkish Muslim atrocities committed against Ottoman Christians.

This silencing and strong-arming of other nations by a country that is majority Muslim represents Islamization embedded within a national policy of Turkification. Turkey’s past aggression, labeled the ‘Armenian Genocide,’ follows the Islamization pattern that exists today: annihilation of all non-Muslims, no matter their religion, ethnicity or national origin. It was a jihad against Anatolian Christians. Further, Turkey destroyed genocide documentation, many of its killers went unpunished, restitution was never paid to victims and the perpetrators are eponymously commemorated in the naming of landmarks, cities and streets. Tragically, Hitler was inspired by the Turkish extermination of Armenian Christians and justified his ‘Final Solution’ with a statement that ‘no one remembers the Armenian Genocide.’

In fact, the world does remember but is held at bay because of continued denial of historical truths, insistence on the Islamic point of view and political pressure to silence others with opposing views, prevalent throughout the Muslim world today on other fronts and continuing today in the jihad against the Anatolian Christians.” Read more.

We have records of Mohammed’s last jihad against the Christians north of Arabia. After he died, Umar, the second caliph, took Mohammed’s jihad against the Christians and developed it into a war that conquered half of the Christian world. But this conquest was only the beginning of the political transformation. Sharia law was put into place and the Christian Kafirs became dhimmis. But Umar was not able to conquer Anatolia, the site known today as Turkey. For centuries, Islam attacked Anatolia and finally took Constantinople, now known as Istanbul, Turkey.

A dhimmi had to step aside for the Muslim, offer him his seat, could not carry a weapon and defer to a Muslim in every way. In all matters of society the dhimmi had to yield to the Muslim. Over the centuries, the degradation, lack of rights and the dhimmi tax caused the Christian to convert. It is the Sharia that destroys the dhimmis.

Nigeria: Islamists in Northern Nigeria Killing Christians to Eliminate Christianity in the Northern States

A ‘committee’ is needed to ‘investigate’ Boko Haram and to look into the ‘reasons for the violence’?  Well, investigative committee, here are just a few of many that they see every day within the pages of their Qur’an:

 Surah 5:51, “O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

Surah 3:151, “We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve…”

Surah 4:89, “Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.”

Surah 9:14, “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace …”

Surah 8:12b, “… terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.”

By Michael Ireland – “WASHINGTON, DC (ANS) — Members of a radical Islamic group, Boko Haram, have killed at least ten Christians in Maiduguri, Nigeria over the past two months in what one Christian leader is calling a ‘silent killing’ of Christians.

In an interview with International Christian Concern (ICC – http://www.persecution.org ), an anonymous local church leader explained, ‘Boko Haram is seeking to eliminate Christianity because they want Islamic (Sharia) law. They don’t want to see anything Christian in the northern states [of Nigeria]. That is why churches are being persecuted and Muslims who don’t follow the [hardline teachings of] Boko Haram are also persecuted.’

ICC says Boko Haram is close to achieving its goal of eliminating Christianity from Maiduguri.

In its latest report on the situation, ICC said: ‘Most of the Christians have fled the city in fear of further attacks by the Islamists. Of the churches that remain, some have felt compelled to suspend their services to protect their congregations.’

ICC explained that the Nigerian government, which has also been attacked by Boko Haram, deployed security forces to quell the violence, but came under sharp criticism from human rights groups for excessive use of force and the indiscriminate killing of civilians. The government of Nigeria has now established a committee to investigate the members of Boko Haram and look into the reasons for the violence.” Read more.

Egypt: Pastor Beaten and One Christian Murdered After Muslims Attack Christian Village, Loot and Torch Homes

“(AINA) — Muslims attacked Christians in the village of Nazlet Faragallah, in the southern Egyptian Minya province, on Sunday evening. The attack continued until the early hours of Monday morning, August 8. One Copt was murdered and homes were looted and torched when Muslims from Nazlet Faragallah together with Muslims from four neighboring villages started their violence at approximately 8 PM, after breaking their Ramadan fast.

According to eyewitnesses, thousands of Muslims entered the village from all sides, firing automatic weapons (mostly in the air), looting and throwing Molotov Cocktails at several homes. ‘They even destroyed our irrigation pumps,’ said one witness.

The first attack was on the house of Father Youanes, pastor of St. George Church, which lies at the head of the village. He was beaten and his home was looted and torched.

Maher Nassif Tobias (50), an employee at the local council, was murdered in his home. He was found by his son. His house was completely looted, including his livestock.

Security forces arrived 4 hours after the attack began and there were too few of them. ‘They only had batons in their hands, and were unable to control the situation,’ said a Coptic village resident. ‘Our village is surrounded by corn fields. The Muslims came into the village to loot and quickly disappeared in the fields, the police could not follow them. They were coming from all directions at the same time.’

Nazlet Faragallah has 8000 inhabitants, 80% are Copts and 20% Muslims.” Read more.

20 Signs That The Fabric Of American Society Is Coming Apart At The Seams

“There is wild disagreement about what is causing it, but what most people can agree on is that there is something fundamentally wrong with America. The fabric of American society just does not seem to be as strong as it used to. In fact, many would argue that society is coming apart at the seams. Corruption and decay seem to be everywhere. I spend a lot of time in my other articles blaming a lot of this corruption and decay on politicians, bureaucrats and business leaders, but the reality is that they are only part of the story. The truth is that those who are leading us are a reflection of what we have become as a nation. If you got rid of all of our corrupt leaders that would not suddenly “fix” this country. Millions of ordinary Americans have become deeply corrupt as well. The kinds of things that you are about to read about below were very rare in past generations. Society is falling apart all around us and we haven’t even seen the complete collapse of the U.S. economy yet.

A lot of people like to blame the increasingly bizarre behavior of the American people on the economy, but the reality is that things are not nearly as bad as they are eventually going to be. Yes, the U.S. ‘Misery Index’ recently hit a 28 year high. Tens of millions of American families are deeply suffering. Unemployment is rampant and unprecedented numbers of Americans have been getting kicked out of their homes.

But that is nothing compared to what is coming.

So what is America going to look like when true economic suffering comes along?

That is something to think about.

A lot of the items in the list below may seem easy to dismiss as “isolated incidents”. But when you start examining patterns of behavior over an extended period of time, certain trends begin to emerge. America is become a very cruel place. The love of most people seems to be growing cold. What some people are willing to do for a little bit of money or just because someone has ‘pissed them off’ is absolutely stunning. The America of today is fundamentally different from the America of past generations.

Japan: Rice Growing in a Rice Paddy With 35,000 Becquerels/kg of Radioactive Cesium?

“No wonder the first trading of rice futures in Osaka fetched 40% premium over the exchange-suggested contract price.

If this number is correct, the harvest season in Japan will be indeed ‘chaos’.

Said 35,000 becquerels/kg [of radioactive cesium, most likely] has been found in the soil of a rice paddy planted with rice, and asked if the government does any thorough check. Hosono [minister in charge of the nuclear accident] consulted with his staff for a very long time, and said they will confirm the number. Stop claiming food is safe, ministry told – “Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto has committed an about-face on policy by telling his ministry to refrain from vouching for the safety of Japanese food. The ministry stance changed after radiation-tainted beef was found to have been sold to consumers nationwide, sources said. Pennsylvania: Philadelphia Mayor Talks Tough to Black Teenagers After ‘Flash Mob’ Attacks, Implements 9 PM Curfew

“PHILADELPHIA — Mayor Michael A. Nutter, telling marauding black youths ‘you have damaged your own race,’ imposed a tougher curfew Monday in response to the latest ‘flash mob’ — spontaneous groups of teens who attack people at random on the streets of the city’s tourist and fashionable shopping districts.

‘Take those God-darn hoodies down, especially in the summer,’ Mr. Nutter, the city’s second black mayor, said in an angry lecture aimed at black teens. ‘Pull your pants up and buy a belt ‘cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt.’

‘If you walk into somebody’s office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won’t hire you? They don’t hire you ‘cause you look like you’re crazy,’ the mayor said. ‘You have damaged your own race.’

Mr. Nutter announced that he was beefing up police patrols in certain neighborhoods, enlisting volunteers to monitor the streets and moving up the weekend curfew for minors to 9 p.m.

Parents will face increased fines for each time their child is caught violating the curfew.

The head of Philadelphia’s chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, J. Whyatt Mondesire, said it ‘took courage’ for Mr. Nutter to deliver the message.” Read more.

Update August 8, 2011: Hawaii DOH Refuses to Comply with Subpoena, Federal Judge Tells Hawaii Officials to Explain Obama’s Birth Records – “California attorney Orly Taitz today secured an order from United States District Court Magistrate Judge Richard L. Puglisi demanding representatives of the Hawaii Department of Health appear in federal court Sept. 14 to show why Taitz should be prevented from seeing whatever original 1961 documents the agency has on record regarding Barack Obama’s birth.

Taitz returned to federal court in Honolulu today after Hawaii DOH officials presented her with a letter refusing to comply with her subpoena on grounds that Hawaii privacy laws prevented officials from releasing Obama birth records to the public.

‘It’s ridiculous,’ Taitz told WND.

She had argued previously – without getting a response from the state – that Obama had waived all privacy rights by releasing his long-form birth certificate to the American public at a White House press conference April 27.

The ExParte Emergency Motion for Order to Show Cause and to Compel Attendance for Production of Documents that Taitz filed with the federal magistrate asked the court to demand Hawaii DOH head Loretta Fuddy appear in court to explain why she would not comply with the subpoena.

‘Getting a federal judge to demand Fuddy’s attendance at a show-cause hearing is a victory,’ Taitz said. ‘I will return to Hawaii on Sept. 14 and I expect then to be able to force the Hawaii DOH to turn over the relevant records as demanded by the subpoena.'” Read more.

Subpoena to be Delivered, Obama Birth Certificate to be Examined in Hawaii on August 8th, 2011 – “Computer scanning expert Doug Vogt and typesetting expert Paul Irey say they will accompany attorney Orly Taitz when she presents to the Hawaii Department of Health a subpoena that should allow her to examine Barack Obama’s original 1961 typewritten birth certificate.

Vogt and Irey both told WND they are making travel plans to join Taitz in Honolulu when she goes to the state agency at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, to present the subpoena in person.

‘We will plan to hold a press conference late in the day of Aug. 8,’ Vogt said, ‘and if the document we see varies from the birth certificate documents the White House released, we plan to file criminal charges in Hawaii immediately.’

Vogt shared with WND a copy of a letter he has written to Hawaii Attorney General David Louie, putting Louie on notice regarding the reasons he believes the birth certificate released by the White House is fraudulent.

WND previously reported on Vogt’s decision to file a 22-page criminal complaint with the FBI.

Irey says it won’t take long to evaluate the original birth record, if it exists.

‘Over the years of my career, I’ve seen everything that can be put on paper,’ he said. ‘Now that I’m thoroughly familiar with what the White House released, I will be able to tell you within a few minutes, if what the Hawaii DOH has matches what the White House has released, or not.

‘I will expect to see the same differences in typeface that are on the White House version, otherwise I will know immediately that what the Hawaii DOH is showing us is a forgery.'” Read more.

According to the report, dozens of streets in the London boroughs of Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets and Newham have been hit with these signs. India: Muslim Extremists in India Attack Christians, Threaten Christian Woman Who Converted from Islam to Christianity

“NEW DELHI – Four months after a recent convert to Christianity from Islam in eastern India’s West Bengal state was stripped and beaten, about 50 Muslim extremists yesterday disrupted a prayer meeting held in her home, threatening to burn it down if she did not return to Islam, area Christians said.

The extremists warned Selina Bibi of Motijil village in Murshidabad district that if she did not return to Islam, then she must either leave the area or see her house burned down. At her baptism at Believers Church four kilometers from her home on March 29, a large crowd of Muslim extremists disrupted the service, said a pastor identified only as Bashir.

‘I pleaded with them to let me at least finish the worship service before they attack us,’ he told Compass.

When word of her conversion to Christianity reached her village, another extremist group from Motijil led by Jamal Shaike disrupted the service. Shaike and the others verbally abused the Christians, and he ordered his son who was present at the service to leave immediately, Bashir said.

The pastor said that on April 5, two Muslim women along with members of the extremist group summoned Selina Bibi to one of their homes and forcefully stripped her naked.

‘The radicals believe that when any person from the Muslim community becomes Christian, they get Christian marks on their body,’ Bashir said. ‘When the radicals could not find such marks, they started beating her up.'” Read more.

India: Group of Muslim Men Try to Enforce Sharia Law on Women Shopping Alone and Without a Veil

No need to worry.  It was ‘almost’ another one of these 17,500+ misunderstandings only …

“Bhopal: A group of Muslim youths made an unsuccessful bid to enforce ‘Shariat’ on women shopping alone in the markets of Bhopal, leading to a brawl with shopkeepers on Sunday.

The youth were trying to put into practice the preachings of the City Qazi, who had advised women against shopping alone or without purdah (veil).

Inspired by the sermon, some youth went on a rampage, asking women to go home. When the women refused to accept their firman, the youth attacked shop keepers with scissors and looted their shops.

The incident took place at Chowk Bazzar here on Sunday. The police, however, registered a case of loot against 12 unidentified persons in Kotwali police station based on a complaint lodged by a shop keeper.

The frenzied action from the youths, according to community members, was the outcome of a ‘misunderstanding.'” Read more.
