‘Only’ 73% of Palestinians Want Jews Annihilated (as Per Islam’s Canonical Hadith)

This 73% is not relegated to only young active male jihadists, either.  And I would venture to guess that the number of Palestinian Muslims who want to see the Jews annihilated would be even higher if we were to factor out the number of Palestinian Christians who may have been included in this survey …

By Andrew G. Bostom – “Data have just been released from a survey completed this week which confirm the implacable, murderous irredentism of Israel’s Palestinian Muslim ‘peace partners.’

American pollster Stanley Greenberg performed what is described as an ‘intensive, face-to-face survey in Arabic of 1,010 Palestinian adults in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.’

Here are the salient, pathognomonic findings:

First, a mere 73% of the Palestinians surveyed agree with the annihilationist dictates of this canonical hadith (the words and deeds of Islam’s prophet Muhammad which have a weight often equal to the Koran), quoted in the Hamas Covenant.

As characterized in the hadith, Muslim eschatology — end of times theology — highlights the Jews’ supreme hostility to Islam. Jews are described as adherents of the Dajjâl — the Muslim equivalent of the Anti-Christ — or according to another tradition, the Dajjâl is himself Jewish. At his appearance, other traditions maintain that the Dajjâl will be accompanied by 70,000 Jews from Isfahan, or Jerusalem, wrapped in their robes, and armed with polished sabers, their heads covered with a sort of veil. When the Dajjâl is defeated, his Jewish companions will be slaughtered — everything will deliver them up except for the so-called gharkad tree, as per the canonical hadith (Sahih Muslim, Book 41, Number 6985) included in the 1988 Hamas Covenant (in article 7). The hadith– which ¾ of those surveyed agree should be acted upon — is cited in the Covenant as a sacralized, obligatory call for a Muslim genocide of the Jews:” Read more.

By Buck Sexton – “‘Muslims Against Crusades’ (MAC), an Islamic group based in the United Kingdom, plans to wage a propaganda campaign to make a portion of London accept Sharia law. They are calling it the ‘Islamic Emirates Project,’ and it is designed to create beachheads for sharia across the UK.

The MAC group is specifically encouraging Muslims, who comprise 15% of Waltham Forest in northeast London, to enforce Islamic legal codes banning alcohol, gambling, drugs, smoking, pornography, prostitution and music concerts in their borough. MAC released a statement this week that said:

‘As part of our Islamic Emirate Project, Waltham Forest is to be the first borough to be targeted for an intense shari’a led campaign, introducing the prospect of Islamic law for the Muslim community to abide by.’

The MAC intends to convince Muslims in Waltham to self-enforce Sharia at first, and later to set up an ‘emirate’- an Islamic statelet with Sharia law replacing British legal codes.” Read more.

Churches in Nigeria Shuttered, Reduced with Uptick in Islamic Terrorism

“Christians in northern Nigeria’s Borno state, already forced to abandon worship services due to attacks by Islamic sect Boko Haram, are bracing for a massive assault to commemorate the death of the extremists group’s leader at the end of the month.

Christians are streaming out of Maiduguri, about 540 miles northeast of the Nigerian capital of Abuja, where some of the worst-hit churches are located. Churches are shutting down as many of their members have lost their lives in attacks that have not ceased even after security agencies were enlisted to confront the assailants.

Compass witnessed most church buildings were shuttered and guarded by soldiers and police in the Maiduguri areas of Wulari-Jerusalem, Railway Station, Bulunkutu, Damboa Road, and Bayan NNPC. Some churches bold enough to open were compelled to reschedule their worship services in order to outmaneuver militants who knew that most services start at 10 a.m.

‘As you can see, the town is unsafe, and it is just appropriate for any church leader to be reasonable and safe,’ a pastor with The Apostolic Church who declined to give his name for fear of attack told Compass. ‘We took the decision to hold a one-and-a-half-hour service earlier than our usual time so that our people can return home in time because of the threat.'” Read more.

North Korea: Refugees Flee Worst Famine in a Decade, 6 Million People at Risk and the ‘Dear Leader’ Does Nothing

‘Some people are having to eat manure when they cannot get rice or corn,’ said one refugee, 68-year-old Kim Yeong.

The United Nations World Food Program says North Korea faces its worst food shortage in a decade, with 6 million people at risk and the regime is unwilling to spend its dwindling hard currency reserves on buying food for its population of 24 million.

Heavy rain from July 12 to 15 destroyed or submerged more than 20,000 hectares of farmland across the country, the state-run Korean Central News Agency said.

But the world has been slow to react for fear of propping up the increasingly belligerent regime of Kim Jong-il, which is vigorously pursuing a nuclear weapons program and threatening its South Korean neighbour.” Read more.

On Tuesday, he was arraigned on Tuesday on a charge of first-degree murder for the brutal killing of Margaret Sheppard Webb of Dearbornistan in 2004. The case had been a cold case until recently. Webb’s body was found with severe head trauma and a burned torso. Yup, more ‘Religion of Peace’ ‘peacefulness.’

This isn’t the first time for Othman. A Michigan Court of Appeals docket shows that criminal cases were brought against Othman in both 1998 and 2007 and that he was convicted in both cases, serving time in prison as recently as November 2007. The State of Michigan Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) shows that Othman has been convicted of crimes in four separate incidents from 1995 to 2005, including criminal sexual conduct, obtaining money under false pretenses, and drunk driving. 84 Additional Meat Cows That Ate Radioactive Hay Already Shipped to 5 Prefectures

84 more meat cows from Fukushima that ate highly radioactive hay were discovered by Fukushima Prefecture, as the prefectural government started to test rice hay fed to the cows.

Fukushima Prefecture announced on July 16 that 84 additional meat cows that had been fed the potentially radioactive rice hay were shipped inside Fukushima, and to Tokyo, Saitama, Yamagata, and Miyagi Prefectures.” Read more.

Somali Terror Group Linked to Al Qaeda ‘Recruited 21 Men in Minnesota’

This is 21 men from one city/state.  How many more are out there that haven’t been found yet, and how many of them are not training to fight abroad in a foreign land, but rather within our own ‘back yards‘?

“A Somali terror group has allegedly recruited more than 20 young men from Minnesota to fight against the Ethopian army.

Details of how a carefully-organised Islamist cell raised money, created fake itineraries and held secret meetings have emerged ahead of the trial of one suspected leader.

Omer Abdi Mohamed, 26, is one of 18 men charged with recruiting young Somalis from Minneapolis to join terror group al-Shabab, which has links to Al Qaeda.

Since 2007, at least 21 men have left Minnesota for Somalia, where they arrived at safehouses and were given AK-47s and weapons training, court documents claim, before fighting Ethiopian troops.

Back in Minnesota, members of the cell raised money for their trip by duping the Somali community into thinking the cash was to give aid to their home country.” Read more.

Powerful Typhoon Ma-On Takes Aim at Japan, ‘May Become a Super Typhoon’

Landfall in southern Japan is a distinct possibility as early as Monday night local time and recent data is even more threatening.

Winds in Ma-On strengthened from 105 mph to 135 mph on Friday before weakening slightly. The storm has since re-strengthened slightly today and further intensification is expected as it passes across the extremely warm waters of the Philippine Sea.

Ma-On will reach its peak intensity later this weekend, and it may become a super typhoon with sustained winds near 150 mph range.” Read more.

Illinois: Several Thousand Fish Found Dead in the Sangamon River

“DECATUR — Several thousand fish have died just below the dam between Lake Decatur and the Sangamon River and most appear to be a variety that local officials hope will never make it into the lake — Asian carp.

The Herald & Review newspaper in Decatur reports that the city said Tuesday that it’s consulting with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources on possible ways to keep the invasive fish from damaging sport-fish populations in the lake. No one is sure why the fish have died.

Asian carp have long been in the Sangamon River but have never been seen so close to the lake.” Read more.

Mississippi: Scores of Fish Found Dead in Crossgates Lake in Brandon

“BRANDON — Scores of dead fish floated in Crossgates Lake Friday, permeating the air with the stench of decay in an almost identical scenario as one that played out last summer.

‘I don’t know what’s going on with that lake,’ said Dennis Riecke, fisheries coordinator with the state Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. ‘They have fish kills there just about every year.’

A fish kill refers to large quantities of fish dying for any number of reasons, including low water levels and decreased oxygen levels in the water.

‘Crossgates Lake appears to have experienced a ‘turn over’ following heavy rains on Tuesday night,’ said Robbie Wilbur, spokesman for Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. ‘Many lakes, especially in the South, stratify into layers during the summer months. When this happens, the top layer is made up of warm oxygenated water, and the lower layer is cool water, often with little or no oxygen.'” Read more.

Japan: Radioactive Straw Fed to Cattle was Produced 75 KMs from Fukushima Nuclear Plant, Well Outside of Exclusion Zone

“Revelations that radiation-contaminated rice straw used as feed for beef cattle was produced far away from the crippled Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant have sent shockwaves through the livestock farming community in Fukushima Prefecture.

Consumers have also been filled with a sense of growing distrust in the government over delays in responding to the problem of radiation-tainted beef.

Forty-two beef cows that ate rice straw contaminated with radioactive cesium were found to have been shipped from a livestock farm in the Fukushima Prefecture town of Asakawa from April 8. The rice straw had been supplied by a farmer in Shirakawa, about 75 kilometers away from the tsunami-hit nuclear power station.

‘It’s unbelievable that this (contamination) occurred in an area so far away from the nuclear plant,’ said a 34-year-old man who has run a livestock farm in Minamisoma, Fukushima Prefecture, for nearly 10 years.

On July 8 the government asked livestock farmers in the city to refrain from shipping beef.

‘Fukushima-produced beef cows will no longer sell unless we switch to feed produced outside the prefecture and suspend shipments of beef cows until the safety of all feed produced in the prefecture is confirmed,’ the Minamisoma farmer said.

Officials with the local governments of areas to which the cows had been shipped were busy confirming meat distribution routes until late on July 14.” Read more.
