The Jerusalem Post – “Turkey’s full suspension of economic and trade relations with Israel, coupled with the closure of its airspace, marks an unprecedented escalation that could have far-reaching consequences, Dr. Hay Eytan Cohen-Yanarocak of Tel Aviv University warned in an interview with Maariv.

‘A country will completely cut its economic and trade relations with another and closes its airspace to its planes, only during wartime,’ Cohen-Yanarocak said. ‘This move is unprecedented, removes mutual dependency, and could lead to strategic escalation.’

The rupture followed Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan’s announcement earlier this week. According to Cohen-Yanarocak, the deterioration had been building for months. ‘It didn’t surprise me. I’ve been waiting a long time for these gradual steps,’ he said, pointing to earlier maritime sanctions. ‘The moment Israel declared its intention to expand the military operation in Gaza, they made the decision that very same day to impose maritime sanctions.’

Israeli forces exposing surveillance devices that had reportedly been sold to Damascus by Turkey gave Ankara the trigger it needed. ‘You could say it was expected to happen, but they were waiting for a specific incident in order to play this card,’ he noted…

The break also reflects President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s wider ambitions. ‘Erdogan wants to restore past glory, to once again make Turkey the strongest Muslim state,’ Cohen-Yanarocak explained. ‘And when there is some Muslim entity, such as Gaza, that is in serious trouble, the Turkish leader sees himself as the leader of all Sunni Muslims.’ …

The chances of mending ties soon are slim. ‘As long as we don’t see an end to the war, I don’t think it’s possible to put the genie back in the bottle,’ Cohen-Yanarocak said. ‘On paper, it can be done, but there’s a political price.’

With Turkey ‘reaping major political capital from the war in Gaza,’ he added, reversing course will be increasingly difficult. What began as a temporary protest, he concluded, has now become ‘a structural change in relations, with consequences that will extend far beyond the end of the current war.'” Read more.

Iran International – “Senior Iranian officials are using the recent Israeli attacks on Doha to justify calls for the formation of a unified military front among Muslim nations as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) gathers for an emergency summit in Qatar on Monday.

Mohsen Rezaei, a former chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and now a member of the Expediency Council, warned that Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iraq could face future Israeli attacks if the OIC fails to act decisively.

‘The only solution is forming a military coalition,’ he said in remarks carried by Iranian media.

Reinforcing that call, Jalal Razavi-Mehr, a Shia cleric who heads the Assembly of Seminary Students’ Representatives in Qom, called for the creation of a joint Islamic army.

‘This army should be composed of the defensive and military forces of Islamic countries, operating under a single command, with a shared defensive and, if necessary, offensive doctrine,’ he said.” Read more.

It Pays To Slay: UK & France Threaten To Recognize “Palestinian” State (And May Have Just Killed All Remaining Hostages In Gaza)

Even in Europe there exists state sponsors of terror. The UK and France are both now threatening to recognize a “Palestinian” State in September, an insidious and foolish move that serves absolutely NOTHING but to convince Hamas and like-minded Islamic terrorists all around the world that it PAYS to SLAY then PLAY the victim. By telling Israel to make peace with Hamas in Gaza or else, any incentive that Hamas had in signing a ceasefire with Israel and to release any remaining hostages is now shredded into oblivion, thanks to the myopic idiocy on full display from the UK and France. Behind all the death and destruction, Hamas views any inkling of international support from the West for a “Palestinian” State as an absolute win and the longer “Palestinian civilians” continue to die, the better it is for Hamas and “Palestinian” statehood. Why make peace now?

A part me says that in the Divine middle knowledge of an all-knowing God, the Lord foresaw these nations spitting in the apple of His eye and the punishment of seeking to divide HIS LAND is already in process with the scourge of an Islamist invasion that is now plaguing their own.

Israel’s response should be swift and complete. Gaza, Judea & Samaria legally belongs to Israel and the Jewish State should fully, and officially, now annex all of it. Every square inch …

UK’s Starmer Threatens To Recognize Palestinian State In September – “British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer told the UK Cabinet that the UK will recognize a Palestinian state in September, unless the Israeli government takes ‘substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza,’ Starmer’s office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Israel must also make clear that there will be no annexation in the West Bank, Starmer threatened.

The timing of the recognition will be before the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the announcement added…

The Israeli Foreign Ministry responded to Starmer’s statements.

‘Israel rejects the statement by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom,’ the ministry stated on X/Twitter.

Trump hinted at imminent targeted killings: ‘Hamas never really wanted a deal. I think they’re about to be hunted down.’

Trump also dismissed French President Macron’s call for a Palestinian state, calling it ‘irrelevant.’

Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu wrote in English: ‘Special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, was right. Hamas is the obstacle to the release of the hostages.’

He added: ‘Together with our American allies, we are currently considering alternative options to bring our hostages home, end Hamas’s reign of terror, and secure peace for Israel and our region.’

Dire Consequences: Israeli MK Says After US “Midnight Hammer” Hits Iran Nuke Sites, Trump’s Push For “Ceasefire” With Genocidal Regime Will “Lead Us To Another War” Within Three Years

The Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities have been “completely and totally obliterated” according to US President Trump. Truthful hyperbole or just plain… hyperbole? I’m inclined to believe the former, but the jury is still out. That being said, when an historic and golden opportunity to remove a genocidal death cult — one responsible for regional and global terrorism and still in possession of at least 400kg (880lbs) of enriched uranium — is squandered in favor of a so-called “ceasefire” and allowed to remain in power after a mortal headwound, the “Midnight Hammer” has failed to secure the last nail in the Islamic Republic’s coffin. It seems the golden opportunity has quickly morphed into fool’s gold.

This “ceasefire” with Iran is not permanent. Like all “hudnas” before it, it is temporary. “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” were never mere slogans extolled and confined to Friday prayers in Tehran. They were official government policy, and they remain so. Sure, bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities are a bold and necessary move, but it is nowhere near enough. Not even close. The Iranian regime that was literally hell bent on Israel’s annihilation on October 7th 2023 is still literally hell bent on Israel’s annihilation on June 24th 2025. The beast’s thirst for blood has never been satiated. Indeed, as long as Israel exists it cannot be. But now their thirst is coupled with unfathomable vengeance. Unfortunately, President Trump would rather be perceived as the President who was only willing to “end” the Iranian quest for nuclear weapons cleanly and swiftly, not the President willing to roll up his sleeves and end the regime in pursuit of them. And a footnote to it all will be the abandoning of the pro-Western population across Iran. Any magic that a glimpse of freedom had produced at the start of Operation Rising Lion was only an illusion. The lion, it seems, has been declawed.

As disappointing as this may seem on the surface, we should not lose heart. God’s purpose, and His promise, will prevail regardless of who is in power in Iran. As I mentioned at the onset of Operation Rising Lion, Iran will in some way take part in the upcoming war prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39. The writing is already on the wall. Though Iran will not take the lead, they — as well as other Islamic nations and fighters — will play a pivotal role in the clouds of war that are rising on the horizon. We are now in the end game …

Liberman: Ceasefire With Iran Will Lead To Renewed War In Two Years – “Yisrael Beytenu Chairman MK Avigdor Liberman warned Tuesday that the diplomatic approach to ending the conflict with Iran announced by US President Donald Trump could have dire consequences for Israel and the region.

In a statement published on social media, Liberman pointed to what he described as ‘extraordinary military achievements’ by the IDF and the Mossad throughout the war, but lamented what he sees as a strategic failure in its conclusion. ‘The final chord is particularly bitter and jarring,’ he wrote, referring to the developing push for negotiations instead of total Iranian capitulation.

‘Instead of unconditional surrender, the world is entering into a difficult and exhausting negotiation process,’ Liberman said, arguing that the Iranian regime has shown no willingness to abandon its nuclear ambitions, ballistic missile development, or its extensive support for terrorism in the Middle East and beyond.

Liberman recalled that he had warned at the outset of the war about the risks of leaving the Iranian regime weakened but intact. ‘There is nothing more dangerous than leaving a wounded lion,’ he wrote.

Iran’s top military brass and multiple nuclear scientists are eliminated. For now, however, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei still stands. The end of the Iranian regime’s Islamic death cult requires the end of the Ayatollah, either from external or internal forces. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump says “we are hoping to get back to the negotiating table” with Iran. I find this statement to be quite unbelievable. It gives the Iranian regime a lifeline when all it needs now is a decisive blow. Today is the day for Trump to show real LEADERSHIP AGAINST IRAN alongside Israel and he would be wise to quit channeling the spirit of Neville Chamberlain in pushing for a meaningless agreement that will only serve to leave Israel open to a Second Holocaust. Don’t just talk tough. BE TOUGH. Iran has one goal when it comes to Israel, and it does NOT include abandoning its pursuit of nuclear weapons. None whatsoever, regardless of what is written on a piece of paper. Donald Trump and the West would be wise to understand this. Israel certainly does. The United States has a golden opportunity to change the status quo. Do NOT maintain it. A great America needs a strong America … and Israel …

Israel National News – “Defense Minister Israel Katz was updated Friday morning on the latest situational assessment, which indicated that most of the senior command of the Revolutionary Guards’ Air Force was eliminated while gathered at an underground command post. Among those killed was the commander of Iran’s Air Force.

Earlier reports confirmed the elimination of three senior Iranian military officials in the strike: Revolutionary Guards Commander Hossein Salami, Iranian Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, and Deputy Chief of Staff and Head of the Emergency Command Hatem Alam Ali Rashid.

Iran has reportedly already appointed a replacement for the Chief of Staff — Habibollah Sayyari.

The New York Times reported that another casualty was Ali Shamkhani, senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. According to the report, he was critically wounded in the strike and later died.

Also eliminated was Fereydoon Abbasi, former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization. Abbasi, a nuclear physicist, had previously survived an assassination attempt attributed to Israel 15 years ago. Another casualty was Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, president of Islamic Azad University. Both were very senior figures in Iran’s nuclear program.” Read more.

Israel Trying To Persuade US To Join In Continuing Strikes On Iran – “Israel is attempting to persuade the US administration to join its continued operations against Iranian nuclear sites and military targets… Early Friday morning, the Israel Air Force conducted multiple waves of strikes on Iran, including the Natanz nuclear facility, killing high-value targets such as the chiefs of the IRGC and the Iranian military, and nuclear scientists at the forefront of Iran’s nuclear weapons program. These strikes, named Operation Rising Lion, are still ongoing, with security officials estimating them to continue for days or weeks. The strikes were in ‘full coordination’ with the US, as Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced shortly after the strikes began, but conducted without US assets or support.” Read more.

American Naiveté: Trump Says Houthis “Capitulate” After Israeli-US Aerial Onslaught Against Houthi Infrastructure, “We Will Honor That … We Will Stop The Bombings”

After being pounded for weeks and suffering significant losses over the last 48 hours of Yemen’s Hodeidah Port, the Sana’a International Airport and other significant Houthi targets, the Iranian terrorist proxy is reeling. According to US President Donald Trump, the Houthis have now “capitulated” and have indicated they will no longer attack vessels in the Red Sea. Of course not. Their ability has been gradually, and significantly, degraded. In the world of religiously-fueled Islamic terror, this “capitulation” is known as a “hudna.” But let’s not be naive into conflating “capitulation” with genuine surrender. Genuine “surrender” involves the laying down of arms. A “hudna”, however, is a temporary cessation of hostilities where terrorists will use the time to acquire more. After all, under the Islamic Republic of Iran’s own doctrine — and by extension all of their terrorist proxies — surrender to the enemy is expressly forbidden and any “capitulation” will only prove to be nothing but a deceptive illusion of relative calm where a “ceasefire” is agreed upon to only then be exploited by terrorists to regroup and rearm for the next round of economic, and international, terrorism. And back to square one we will be.

Hamas has insisted on sticking to the original terms of the deal, which was supposed to enter its second phase at the beginning of the month. The Times of Israel – “US President Donald Trump on Wednesday issued a new ultimatum to Hamas, demanding that the terror group immediately release all remaining hostages or be destroyed.

‘Shalom Hamas means Hello and Goodbye – You can choose,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social. ‘Release all of the hostages now — not later — and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you.’

The Jerusalem Post – “If Hamas does not release the hostages by Saturday at noon, the hostage-ceasefire deal will end, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday.

Netanyahu detailed Israel’s next steps following the conclusion of the political and security cabinet meeting, which convened Tuesday early afternoon to discuss Hamas’s suspension of the hostages’ release.

‘If Hamas does not return our hostages by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will resume intense fighting until Hamas is decisively defeated,’ Netanyahu said, adding the decision had been reached unanimously by cabinet members…

‘In light of Hamas’s announcement of its decision to violate the agreement and not release our hostages, I instructed the IDF last night to amass forces inside and around the Gaza Strip,’ Netanyahu stated, adding, ‘This operation is underway as we speak and will be completed as soon as possible.’

Shortly after Netanyahu’s remarks, the military said additional troops, including reservists, were being deployed to the Southern Command.

Surrender? Israel Capitulates To Hamas Demands In Exchange For Israeli Hostages … Thoughts

I’m admittedly a little late to comment, but I’ve been somewhat conflicted. I loathe the thought that Israel may fully withdraw from Gaza and potentially end Operation Swords of Iron against Hamas just as the terrorist organization was suffering what appeared to be a mortal head wound and on the cusp of destruction. On the surface, Israel signing this “ceasefire” looked more like a surrender to Islamic terror. Hamas, their Iranian overlords and all other like-minded followers of Islam’s false prophet began to proclaim victory over Israel before the ink even dried, which only serves to embolden the predatory beast and those who marvel after it. After all, if unrelenting bombings by air and attacks on the ground from the most powerful military in the Middle East for over a year has still been unable to completely destroy this beastly terror, what can?

Revelation 13:4, “… and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?'”

Though I have prayed for as many Israeli hostages as possible to return home alive, I did not expect it to be at the expense of Israel’s security. I wanted to see the IDF find, rescue and bring more hostages home. But that has been few and far in between. “Blessed are the peacemakers” we often say. And working towards a lasting peace is a blessing indeed. As long as any remnants of Hamas remain in Gaza, however, Israel will have no real security. And without security Israel will have no real peace.

It’s a bad deal. There’s no doubt about it. Some hate it and reject it outright. Others hate it and reluctantly support it. I’m still not sure where I stand since it was essentially the same deal presented to Israel a year ago before they invaded Rafah, a deal that was flatly rejected by Netanyahu at the time, and rightly so. The situation on the ground, however, has since shifted. Hamas top dog Ismail Haniyeh has been eliminated. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is erased from the land of the living. Mohammed Deif became one with a Gazan crater. Scores of Hamas operatives have likewise gone on to visit the deepest blackness for eternity. It’s a different Gaza today, both literally and figuratively, than it was a year ago.

Be that as it may, for the sake of any living hostages still being held captive by Hamas today, Israel needed to do something. Time was running out. If there was any good time to make a bad deal, perhaps that time was now. But whether this so-called “ceasefire” continues through to its second and third phase is yet to be seen. If Israel has proven anything to Hamas and all like-minded malignant monsters seeking to “free Palestine” from the river to the sea, however, it’s that there is no place Israel is unwilling to go to mete out justice. And if Hamas and their ilk have proven anything to us, it’s that the days of this “ceasefire” are surely numbered.
