An Israeli security source said late Friday, amid Iran’s ongoing retaliatory attack against the country, that the U.S. is actively taking part in intercepting the Iranian munitions.
Five to seven Iranian missiles landed in the Tel Aviv area late Friday as Iran began its retaliatory attack against Israel, sending dozens of ballistic missiles. The Times of Israel – “Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Tuesday that if the recently implemented ceasefire with Hezbollah collapses, the state of Lebanon will no longer be exempt from blame for attacks, and Israel’s military responses will not distinguish between the terror group and the country where it is based.
Katz’s remarks came a day after the ceasefire, reached last week after 14 months of conflict initiated by Hezbollah, was rattled by a Hezbollah mortar attack on Israeli territory and retaliatory IDF strikes on southern Lebanon…
‘We will work with all our might to enforce all the understandings of the ceasefire agreement, and we show maximum response and zero tolerance,’ Katz said during a visit to the northern border areas whose 60,000 residents were evacuated last October when Hezbollah began cross-border fire in support of Hamas amid the Palestinian terror group’s war with Israel.
‘Yesterday was the first test, [Hezbollah] shooting at Mount Dov. We reacted strongly and this is exactly what we will do, and we will not allow Hezbollah to return to the old methods they had, such as the tent that was set up and not attacked,’ he said, referring to a Hezbollah structure that was placed along the so-called Blue Line that demarcates between the Israel and Lebanon.
Katz said that Lebanon must ‘authorize the Lebanese army to enforce their part, to keep Hezbollah away beyond the Litani [River] and to dismantle all the infrastructure.’

Hezbollah was not a signatory to the just announced “ceasefire” between Israel and Lebanon. A “ceasefire” that does not directly include the enemy you’re fighting against is unilateral, and a “ceasefire” that is unilateral is not a ceasefire. It is politics. To what end remains to be seen. Perhaps any significant violation will be blamed on Iran, giving Israel the pretext to respond against Iran in a much more forceful manner. Whatever the plans are behind the scenes, considering the fact that an actual 2006 ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah turned out to be nothing but an abject failure, does anyone truly believe that a “ceasefire” which omits Hezbollah will result in a peaceful northern Israel border this time around? Lebanon Ceasefire Takes Effect – “The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon went into effect at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, hours after the Israeli Cabinet on Tuesday evening approved the ceasefire deal, which was brokered by the US, by a majority of 10 to 1.

Rumors Of War: Unusual Earthquake Just Detected In Iran Suggests Possible Nuke Test Ahead Of Israeli Retaliatory Strike
Iran recently warned that any Israeli retaliation following the largest ballistic missile barrage in history against the Jewish state would result in an “unconventional response” from the Islamic Republic. Was this just grandiose rhetoric from an emotionally unhinged Ayatollah still reeling from recent losses? Or should Iran’s threats be taken more seriously? Either way, a cornered beast is a dangerous beast. Furthermore, the fact that Iranian officials are known to have attended nuclear tests in North Korea and hundreds of North Korean nuclear experts were known to have worked at multiple locations across Iran for many years forces me to speculate that Iran may have already acquired a small number of “devices.” And if that’s even remotely true, then one of whatever-it-is they have in their possession may have just been detonated either in the hope of deterring any imminent Israeli strikes, or in preparation of a response to one.
If a time were to ever come when it was possible for all flesh to be extinguished from the face of the earth, that time is here. Fortunately, we know that it will not be permitted to get that far. And we also know that those who seek the “unconventional” destruction of Israel will themselves suffer an “unconventional” destruction of their own. Shortly thereafter, Arabic media such as Al-Jazeera and MTV Lebanon claimed that IDF tanks had entered multiple villages in southern Lebanon.
‘This is what they have informed us that they are currently conducting, which are limited operations targeting Hezbollah infrastructure near the border,’ US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said to the press on Monday, according to AFP.
The IDF has yet to announce or confirm that any such ground invasion, the first IDF ground operation in Lebanon since the Second Lebanon War in 2006, has been launched.

“SAN DIEGO — A terrorist organization whose home base is in the Middle East has established another home base across the border in Mexico.
‘They are recognized by many experts as the ‘A’ team of Muslim terrorist organizations,’ a former U.S. intelligence agent told 10News.
The former agent, referring to Shi’a Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah, added, ‘They certainly have had successes in big-ticket bombings.’
