President Obama Bows Before Saudi King

The Jerusalem Post – “Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on Saturday called on the UN to adopt a resolution condemning blasphemy, AFP reported.

‘I demand a UN resolution that condemns any country or group that insults religions and prophets,’ he reportedly said. ‘It is our duty and that of every Muslim to protect Islam and defend the prophets.’

The Saudi King is the latest Islamic leader to call for a ban on blasphemy following the release last month of the US-made Innocence of Muslims film, which triggered a wave of deadly anti-American violence across the Islamic world.

By Gil Ronen, INN – “Egyptian jurists and politicians have issued calls to ‘liberate’ the Al Aqsa mosque on the Temple Mount, and to restore Egypt’s leading role in the Arab world.

Participants in a news conference in Cairo on October 25 said that the ‘liberation’ of Jerusalem by Muslims will be accomplished ‘without a doubt’ by the present generation, which brought about the change in Arab regimes, and that the peace treaty with Israel was just an act of deception that led to the ‘loss of the homeland.’

Ambassador Abdullah al-Ashal, a former aide to the foreign minister, took part in the news conference held by the Diplomatic Committee of the Egyptian Bar Association. He said that ‘talk of peace with the Zionists must not be believed,’ and that ‘no ties between Egypt and Israel are taking place under the present government,’ because ‘the Palestinian question is a national one for Egypt.’

Bar Association Council member Mamdouh Ismail said that recent Islamist revolutions herald the beginning of the process that will lead to the liberation of Al Aqsa and Jerusalem. He said that it is obvious that weakness and fear have overcome Israel since the ‘stabilization’ of the Arab regimes in the region. The loss of Jerusalem to Israel, he said, was the result of the weakness of the Arab regimes and their collaboration with the West.” Source – INN.

By Gil Ronen, INN – “Sudan’s Information Minister, Ahmed Bilal Osman, has warned that his country would take ‘resolute steps’ against Israeli interests following the bombing of an ammunitions factory in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum.

Osman told the BBC that his country now sees Israeli interests as legitimate targets for attack. He said that Sudan possesses proof that Israel is behind the attack on the Yarmouk weapons factory, and said that experts who combed the location of the blast sound evidence that Israeli arms were used to destroy it.

Australia’s ABC News quoted the minister as saying: ‘We have to reply because this is too much. This is the fourth time they have done this.’ Osman was referring to an incident in May, in which one person was killed after a car exploded in the eastern city of Port Sudan, as well as a similar blast last year that was blamed on an Israeli missile strike, and a fourth incident in eastern Sudan in 2009, when a convoy was bombed.

‘Definitely we are not going to attack Israel there,’ he added, ‘but we have the means, we have the means of how we can reply. They killed our people, these things are not cheap… and we know how to retaliate.’

Sudan has filed a complaint to the United Nations following the latest attack.” Source – INN.

Ethiopia And Sudan In Bible Prophecy – “The Hebrew word translated as Ethiopia is ‘Cush.’ Cush was the son of Ham and grandson of Noah. Many of Cush’s descendants settled in the region of southern Egypt, from Aswan to the place where the Nile River meets the Blue and White Nile rivers. The confusion comes from the historical name swap between Ethiopia and Abyssinia. The region the Bible refers to as Cush became known as Nubia, which the Greeks called Aithiopia. But today this region is southern Egypt and Northern Sudan. On the other hand, the ancient region of Abyssinia was much more southeast. This is where modern Ethiopia is now located. In others words, ancient Abyssinia is modern Ethiopia and ancient Aithiopia is modern-day North Sudan. Because of this confusion, many students of prophecy are awaiting the Christian majority nation of Ethiopia to join with the Islamic alliance described in Ezekiel 38 and 39. But a correct understanding of the name Cush points us to North Sudan, not Ethiopia.” Read more.
