Israel: Muslim Man From Turkey Beheads Woman In South Tel Aviv

By BEN HARTMAN, The Jerusalem Post – “A financial dispute between two lovers was the motive behind the murder and decapitation and dismemberment of a Romanian foreign worker found stuffed inside a suitcase in south Tel Aviv on Saturday.

The alleged murderer, Turkish citizen Ayden Demiran, 50, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon a few hours before he was set to board a flight to Turkey, police said. Head of the special investigative unit, Officer Sharon Malkah, said police arrested Demiran in the village of Kfar Qassem in the Triangle, where he was known to stay when he wasn’t in Tel Aviv. Under questioning, he reportedly confessed to the crime and was taken by officers to perform a re-enactment of the crime. Demiran has been living in Israel for at least 18 months, where he was employed as a construction worker, Malkah said.

At the moment they have not determined if he acted alone, but that contrary to reports in the Romanian media, only one arrest has been made.

The woman, 45-year-old Ilona Denise of Romania, worked in Israel as a care-taker in recent years, first in Haifa and then later in Tel Aviv. Police said. She is from the town of Valea lui Mihai in Bihor County in western Transylvania, where her daughter Erika is a Hungarian language teacher, according to a Romanian journalist who spoke to the Jerusalem Post on Wednesday. Denise initially came to Israel with a legal work permit in 2004, but the visa had expired at some point before her murder, complicating her ability to find a permanent place of employment.

Her body was identified already on Saturday, due to ‘forensic evidence found at scene’ police said – most likely DNA. Police and IDF canine units were also able to find other body parts stashed near the suitcase. Tel Aviv police then contacted Interpol and the Romanian Police who tracked down the woman’s family in Romania. Denise’s daughter was able to give police her phone number in Israel, which helped them track down Demiran.

Denise’s head has still not been found, but police said that Demiran gave them information that could potentially indicate where the missing head is located.

Police added that they still are not exactly sure how Demiran removed the head or the other appendages, but that he did strangle Denise to death in their apartment on Hashita Street in Hatikva. After which he stuffed the body in a suitcase and dragged it to Hahagana Street, scattering other body parts in dumpsters along the way.” Read more.

Iran: Christian Man Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison For Preaching The Gospel

BosNewsLife – “An Iranian Christian convert has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment on what his supporters say are false charges linked to his evangelical church activities, local activist said Tuesday, August 6.

Mohammad-Hadi (Mostafa) Bordbar, a 27-year-old resident of the city of Rasht, was ‘tried by Judge Pir-Abbasi on the morning of June 9, 2013 in branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran,’ amid a wider government crackdown on spreading Christianity in Iran said Mohabat News, an agency of Iranian Christian and activists.

Bordbar, who has been detained since December 27, 2012, received a five-year jail sentence for ‘membership of an anti-security organization’ and an additional five years for ‘gathering with the intent to commit crimes against Iranian national security,’ according to published court documents.

The court reportedly said that Bordbar was involved in ‘Christian evangelical activities’ and ‘Zionism’ aimed at undermining the Islamic leadership of the country through establishing ‘evangelical ministries and organizations and holding underground worship meetings.’

It cited Mostafa Bordbar’s baptism at the home of a pastor, his continued involvement in house churches in the capital Tehran and the areas of Gilan, Karaj and Esfahan as well as related evangelism work as further evidence that he violated the laws of this strict Islamic nation...

He allegedly admitted having distributed 12,000 pieces of Christian literature and dubbing five movies related to Christian evangelism for Christian TV channels.

Iranian officials claimed to have discovered some 6,000 Christian books and compact discs at his home in Rasht. Bordbar confessed that he hid Gospels” for fear of them being burned by Islamic authorities, the court reportedly said.

The court’s judgment came after Bordbar and about 50 other Farsi-speaking Christian converts were detained by security agents in a house in northern Tehran during a worship service celebrating the birth of Jesus, Christians said.” Read more.

A Storm Is Coming: NASA Says Sun’s Poles Set To Flip In 3 To 4 Months, Could Lead To Climate Changes, Other Disruptions

By Victoria Woollaston, Daily Mail – “The sun’s magnetic field is expected to flip in the next three to four months and it could lead to changes in our climate, storms and disruption to satellites.

This solar event only happens once every 11 years and signals what physicists call the Solar Maximum – a time when the Sun’s solar activity is at its highest.

During this peak in activity the outbursts of solar energy can increase the amount of cosmic and UV rays coming towards Earth and this can interfere with radio communications, cause solar bursts of light – known as flares – and can affect the planet’s temperature.

Physicists from Stanford University believe the Sun’s magnetic fields will flip before the end of the year, reversing their polarity. This will cause an increase in solar energy and could lead to changes in climate and satellite disruption. The reversal happens once every 11 years or so.

‘This change will have ripple effects throughout the solar system.’

The sun’s magnetic field reverses around every 11 years at the peak of each solar cycle.

The last peak, or Solar Maximum, was in 2000 and Nasa initially predicted the next flip would take place between 2011 and 2012.

Physicists also warned at the time that the next Solar Maximum could be the strongest yet.

Scientists at Stanford’s Wilcox Solar Observatory have been studying the sun’s magnetic field since 1976, during which time they have witnessed three reversals.

In 1859 a solar storm known as the 1859 Solar Superstorm, or Carrington Event after Richard C Carrington who recorded the event, saw numerous solar flares appear all over Earth.

It was so strong that the Northern Lights – a natural light display that appears predominantly in that Arctic and Antarctic regions and is caused by the collision of energetic charged particles in the magnetosphere and solar wind – were said to be have been visible as far south as Rome.” Read more.

Huffington Post: Christianity Has A Concept Of Jihad Just Like Islam’s

That must explain why so many peace-loving Christians all over the Judeo-Christian world are oppressing, rioting, shooting, stabbing, raping, beheading, detonating and plotting violent jihad for “peaceful purposes” and the cause of YHWH. Politicians and anti-Muslim activists frequently take to audiences and websites to criticize the term “jihad” as a form of Islamic supremacism, oppression, and violence. Muslim extremists, on the other hand, argue that “jihad” refers to a “holy war” against non-Muslims. Viewing the term “jihad” though these frameworks alone, however, would be playing into the hands of extremists who forego the other elements encompassed by the term “jihad.”

Considine begins by employing a staple of Islamic supremacist and Leftist rhetoric: that only ‘anti-Muslim activists’ (note the pejorative term again, as if opposing jihad violence and Islamic supremacism were somehow actually hateful toward a group of people, which makes as much sense as calling foes of the Nazis ‘anti-German’) and ‘Muslim extremists’ think jihad has to do with warfare against unbelievers. This idea can only be sustained by ignoring the fact that jihad warfare against unbelievers is taught by all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

Shafi’i school: A Shafi’i manual of Islamic law that was certified in 1991 by the clerics at Al-Azhar University, one of the leading authorities in the Islamic world, as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy, stipulates about jihad that ‘the caliph makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians…until they become Muslim or pay the non-Muslim poll tax.’ It adds a comment by Sheikh Nuh ‘Ali Salman, a Jordanian expert on Islamic jurisprudence: the caliph wages this war only ‘provided that he has first invited [Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians] to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya)…while remaining in their ancestral religions.’ (‘Umdat al-Salik, o9.8).

Of course, there is no caliph today, and hence the oft-repeated claim that Osama et al are waging jihad illegitimately, as no state authority has authorized their jihad. But they explain their actions in terms of defensive jihad, which needs no state authority to call it, and becomes ‘obligatory for everyone’ (‘Umdat al-Salik, o9.3) if a Muslim land is attacked. The end of the defensive jihad, however, is not peaceful coexistence with non-Muslims as equals: ‘Umdat al-Salik specifies that the warfare against non-Muslims must continue until ‘the final descent of Jesus.’ After that, ‘nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent’ (o9.8).

Hanafi school: A Hanafi manual of Islamic law repeats the same injunctions. It insists that people must be called to embrace Islam before being fought, ‘because the Prophet so instructed his commanders, directing them to call the infidels to the faith.’ It emphasizes that jihad must not be waged for economic gain, but solely for religious reasons: from the call to Islam ‘the people will hence perceive that they are attacked for the sake of religion, and not for the sake of taking their property, or making slaves of their children, and on this consideration it is possible that they may be induced to agree to the call, in order to save themselves from the troubles of war.’

By Brendan Kirby, AL.com – “MOBILE, Alabama – A Syracuse, New York, native pleaded guilty Tuesday to a terrorism charge, admitting that he moved here and discussed carrying out violent acts in the United States before settling on a plot to join a jihadist movement overseas.

Mohammad Abdul Rahman Abukhdair, 25, had been scheduled to go on trial later this year. On the day of his pretrial conference Tuesday, the defendant switched his plea to guilty.

Federal prosecutors have agreed to recommend a 15-year prison sentence for the charge of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists. They will ask U.S. District Judge Kristi DuBose to dismiss a passport fraud charge.

The plea comes four months after co-defendant Randy ‘Rasheed’ Wilson, pleaded guilty in the case. Both men now will be sentenced in December.

Although the defendants ultimately agreed to fight for Islam in Africa, court records indicate that Abukhdair initially favored terrorism at home. At one point, during a conversation about AQI – al-Qaida in Iraq – Abuhkdair suggested he and Wilson would be AQUSA – al-Qaida in the United States.

‘I don’t know if you guys understand the greatness of a jihad operation in the United States, man,’ he told Wilson and an undercover FBI agent in February of last year, according to a partial transcript of the conversation.

Abukhdair told the agent that an Egyptian sheik was wrong to suggest that he give up jihad for a more peaceful form of proselytizing known as ‘dawah.’ The goal of Islam, the defendant said, was to take over the world, and the means of achieving that goal was the sword of jihad.

The recorded conversations indicate that Abukhdair suggested taking hostages and demanding the release of Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, the so-called ‘Blind Sheik’ implicated in a 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center; and Aafia Siddiqui, a scientist serving an 86-year prison sentence for assault with intent to murder investigators who were interrogating her in 2008.

‘We just shoot it out with police,’ Abukhdair said on Feb. 3 of last year, according to his plea document.

And if U.S. officials did not comply with their demands, the defendant said, ‘Well, at the very least, we kill them all.'” Read more.
