UN: When Palestinian Men Beat Their Wives, It’s Israel’s Fault

Those useless United Nitwits are at it again. According to the teachings of Islam, when the “prophet” himself wasn’t ignoring the abuse of women he was openly endorsing it and even blaming women themselves for their maltreatment. According to the UN, however, the abuse of women is Israel’s fault when it happens in “Palestine.” But let’s think about this for a moment. Drawing such an ill-conceived conclusion out to its logical end only winds up placing the blame not upon the violent proclivities of Muslim men all over the world, but upon everybody else they deem as “oppressive” to their Islamic way of life. And when there is no impetus to accept responsibility for one’s action, why change? …

Qur’an Sura 38:44, “And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath …”

Hadith, Abu Dawud 2142, “The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife.”

Qur’an Sura 4:34a, “Men have authority over women because [Allah] has made the one superior to the other… Good women are obedient… As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them…”

UN Watch – “In her recent report to the U.N. Human Rights Council, High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay revives the bizarre charge, made by one of her colleagues in 2005, that when Palestinian men beat their wives, it’s Israel’s fault:

Violence against women

Women in the Occupied Palestinian Territory face multiple layers of violence and discrimination. The analysis made by the Special Rapporteur on violence against women in 2005 remains valid. She found that the combination of decades of Israeli occupation, the use of force against Palestinians by Israel, the different forms of resistance used by Palestinians against such use of force and the patriarchy prevailing in Palestinian society expose women to a continuum of violence in all spheres of life.

The 2005 analysis invoked by Pillay was published in a report by Yakin Ertürk, then the UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women.

Why do Palestinian men beat their wives? The report tells us:

Women with husbands explained that the dire economic situation and the pressures of the occupation have made men more violent because they have lost their ability to provide and protect — two essential elements of manhood in a traditional patriarchal society. As men become stripped of their manhood, women become the shock absorbers of the crises as targets of domestic violence.

In other words: it’s Israel’s fault.

This dangerous theme of moral displacement pervades the report:

Security measures are directed at the entire Palestinian population; in this regard, women are subjected to violence emanating from these measures in similar ways to other members of the society. However, owing to the diverse ways in which occupation and patriarchy intersect, the direct and indirect impact of security measures tends to have specific and compounded consequences for women. In order to demonstrate this, I focus on four measures employed by the Israeli authorities…

By Navi Pillay regurgitating Erturk’s 2005 canard, the UN is once again telling Palestinian men that they have no moral agency, and bear little or no responsibility for their inhumane actions against women.

What the UN is doing, once again, is to displace moral responsibility and prime agency. Palestinian men are not primarily to blame for their violence against women, says the UN. Israel is.” Source – UN Watch.

Flashback: Arab Lecturer Admission On Palestinian TV: Part Of Our Identity Is To ‘Attack’, ‘Beat’ And ‘Kill Women’ – “Part of our identity is to kill women, for example, to kill women, to beat women … Part of our identity is to attack women — we must acknowledge it. Every society has its defects and its charms. Palestinian identity has its charms, but there are things that we have adopted from Arab culture for centuries that harm the individual and the woman. For example, in recent months, look how many women were killed in Lod, in Ramle, and in Acre, and so on. That’s part of our identity.” Watch video.

nanda, “Israel has been legendary for killing their own prophets”

Hi nanda. The writer of the Qur’an was apparently somewhat confused in this regard. In Suras 2:61 and 3:181 the “prophet” of Islam says that Jews killed all the prophets sent to them. Yet in Suras 2:87 and 5:70 he says they only killed some of them, all the while failing to name a single one. Can you name one of the prophets they killed?

nanda, “now they want to frame Islam, what’s stopping them?”

By “frame” you mean to incriminate through the use of false evidence, information, etc. If that is the case, then Islam is framing itself. “Christian” archaeology undermines the Qur’an. “Jewish” archaeology undermines the Qur’an. Even “Islamic” archaeology undermines the Qur’an. But when it comes to an ideology whose foundations are grounded in lies and deception, the only facts that need apply are those that can be distorted to undermine the Truth.

First, there is no writer of Qur’an. Al-Qur’an was transcribed by men but the words belong to Allah.

Second, what good is naming all the prophets? Will it turn you into believer? No, you will argue even more. Even they had sent a poisoned food to our Prophet that the pain of that poison did not heal until the last of his days. The enemies of Islam are the bad guys among Arabs, Persians, Romans (and evil Israelis who will accompany The Anti-Christ Dajjal later) because they will not be happy until every Muslim becomes like them.

Thirdly, you ask me to read news that are specifically constructed to make Islam look bad? Altering meanings, spreading terrors, inflicting confusions? Qur’an has both understandable meanings (the verses about the practice of Islam) and mysterious meanings (verses about the creation of universe, unmentioned dates and locations of ancient cursed cities, and supernatural events) because it is beyond humans’ understanding. Allah’s knowledge includes past, present and future, detailed and universal.

Fourth, the core of Islam teachings is to worship The One and Only God, Allah and to recognize that everything happened, is happening and will happen since the creatin of Adam until the day of judgement in the afterlife have been written by Allah in The Book of Fate and will not be changed. Hard to accept, huh? This is what makes people turn away from Islam, they can’t accept the sour truth. Even I still can’t sometimes.

Fifth, Everybody can claim themselves as a Muslim and create destruction everywhere but not everybody is Muslim by heart. The real Muslims stay at homes and mosques to pray to God day and night and avoid any kind of conflict with both believers and non-believers. You see groups of Muslims in media and you’re not comfortable with what’s being reported, probably you’re seeing a fake Muslim. You’re free to hate them.

But if you keep on spreading lies about the verses of Qur’an, your enemy is God, and I separate myself from what you’re doing.

nanda, “there is no writer of Qur’an. Al-Qur’an was transcribed by men but the words belong to Allah.”

Hi nanda, if the words of the Qur’an belong to “Allah” then from a Muslim perspective such a claim would necessitate that the Qur’an be divine in origin, which would then require that any and all its claims be free from error, be they historical or scientific. In truly examining the words of the Qur’an, however, we find that there are many historical and scientific errors as well as contradictions in the Qur’an. Why? Let’s look at some of the scientific errors, for example. Science has shown us that the sun does not set in a spring of murky water. The Qur’an says otherwise (Sura 18:86). Science has confirmed that the earth is spherical. The Qur’an says otherwise (Sura 2:22, 15:19, 50:7, 78:6-7, 88:20). Science discovered that the stars are not close to us. The Qur’an says otherwise (Sura 37:6). Science discovered that the moon does not emit light but rather reflects it. The Qur’an says otherwise (Sura 71:16). Science discovered that the earth did not exist before the creation of the universe. The Qur’an says otherwise (Sura 2:29). Science discovered that male sperm comes from the testicles, not from between the backbone and the ribs. The Qur’an says otherwise (Sura 86:6-7). Science discovered that flesh is formed before bones. The Qur’an, yet again, says otherwise (Sura 23:14). We can go on and on, but these blatant errors alone — embarrassing errors that Muslims are forced to somehow reinterpret, rationalize and otherwise explain away — all beg the question: What else is the “holy” Qur’an wrong about?

nanda, “what good is naming all the prophets? Will it turn you into believer? No, you will argue even more. Even they had sent a poisoned food to our Prophet that the pain of that poison did not heal until the last of his days.”

Mohammed had revealed in Qur’an Sura 69:44-46 that if he were a false prophet and fabricated revelation he would have had his aorta severed/cut off. When he was poisoned, Muslim sources record Mohammed as saying that his aorta was being severed/cut off. Of all the different ways to die, he died in the exact way he said a false prophet would die. It doesn’t bode well for the “prophet” of Islam, nanda.

nanda, “Allah’s knowledge includes past, present and future, detailed and universal.”

Then how could Allah have made so many historical errors? For example, the Qur’an mentions Jesus’ mother Mary as being the sister of Moses and Aaron and the daughter of Imran. “The Qur’an has confused Jesus’ mother with Aaron’s sister because both of them carry the same name, though there are several centuries between them. The Qur’an indicates that Mary (Christ’s mother) had a brother whose name was Aaron (chapter 19:28) and a father whose name is Imran (chapter 66:12). Their mother was called ‘the wife of Imran’ (chapter 3:35) which eliminates any doubt that it confuses Mary, mother of Jesus, with Mary, sister of Aaron.

Muslim scholars acknowledge what happened and they are confused and fail in their desperate attempts to justify this grave error. Their contradictory interpretations fail to help them to find a solution to this dilemma.” Read more here.

nanda, “the core of Islam teachings is to worship The One and Only God, Allah and to recognize that everything happened, is happening and will happen since the creatin of Adam until the day of judgement in the afterlife have been written by Allah in The Book of Fate and will not be changed. Hard to accept, huh?”

Where is this “Book of Fate”? We have a book that is already written that describes everything that has happened and that will happen from the creation of Adam until the Day of Judgment. It’s called the Bible.

nanda, “Everybody can claim themselves as a Muslim and create destruction everywhere but not everybody is Muslim by heart. The real Muslims stay at homes and mosques to pray to God day and night and avoid any kind of conflict with both believers and non-believers.”

Not according to the teachings of the Qur’an. Sura 4:95 explicitly states that, “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-”

This passage not only criticizes “peaceful” Muslims who do not join in the violence, but also demolishes the modern myth that “Jihad” doesn’t mean holy war in the Qur’an, but rather a spiritual struggle. Not only is the Arabic word used in this passage, but it is clearly not referring to anything spiritual, since the physically disabled are given exemption. (The Hadith reveals the context of the passage to be in response to a blind man’s protest that he is unable to engage in Jihad).

Here are some other verses from the Qur’an for your consideration:

Qur’an Sura 4:76,“Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…”

Qur’an Sura 2:244, “Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.”

Qur’an Sura 2:216, “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”

Qur’an Sura 3:151, “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”. This speaks directly of killing Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be ‘joining companions to Allah’).

Qur’an Sura 4:74, “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.”

Qur’an Sura 4:89, “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Qur’an Sura 4:104, “And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain…” Pursuing an injured enemy is not an act of self-defense.

Qur’an Sura 5:33, “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”

Qur’an Sura 8:12, “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”

Qur’an Sura 8:15, “O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless maneuvering for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey’s end.”

Qur’an Sura 8:39, “And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah”

Qur’an Sura 8:57, “If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”

Qur’an Sura 8:59-60, “And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah’s Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”

Qur’an Sura 9:5, “So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them.”

Qur’an Sura 9:14, “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace…”

Qur’an Sura 9:20, “Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah’s way are of much greater worth in Allah’s sight. These are they who are triumphant.” The “striving” spoken of here is Jihad.

Qur’an Sura 9:29, “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

Qur’an Sura 9:30, “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”

Qur’an Sura 9:38-39, “O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place.” This is a warning to those who refuse to fight, that they will be punished with Hell.

Qur’an Sura 9:41, “Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew.”

Qur’an Sura 9:73, “O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.”

Qur’an Sura 9:88, “But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper.”

Qur’an Sura 9:111, “Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur’an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.”

Qur’an Sura 9:123, “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.”

Qur’an Sura 21:44, “We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?”

Qur’an Sura 25:52, “Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur’an).” “Strive against” is Jihad, obviously not in the personal context. It’s also significant to point out that this is a Meccan verse.

Qur’an Sura 47:4, “So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners,”

Qur’an Sura 47:35, “Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you,”

Qur’an Sura 48:17, “There is no blame for the blind, nor is there blame for the lame, nor is there blame for the sick (that they go not forth to war). And whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; and whoso turneth back, him will He punish with a painful doom.”

Qur’an Sura 48:29, “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves”

Qur’an Sura 61:4, “Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way”

Qur’an Sura 61:10-12, “O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty?- That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew! He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity.” This verse was given in battle. It uses the Arabic word, Jihad.

Qur’an Sura 66:9, “O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless journey’s end.” The root word of “Jihad” is used again here. The context is clearly holy war, and the scope of violence is broadened to include “hypocrites,” those who call themselves Muslims but do not act as such.

nanda, “But if you keep on spreading lies about the verses of Qur’an, your enemy is God, and I separate myself from what you’re doing.”

As we can see above, the Qur’an speaks for itself. I don’t need to lie about it.

Nanda, before I end my reply, I would sincerely encourage you to consider the following. Whether one is Christian or Muslim, we agree that we have all sinned and that the end result of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2) and, since God is the Giver and Sustainer of life (Genesis 2:7), separation from Him means that eternal death in the Lake of Fire will inevitably follow (Revelation 21:8). But because of His love for you and I the God of Heaven came down to us (John 3:16), was born in the flesh (John 1:14), lived a sinless life (1 Peter 2:22; Hebrews 9:14), and willingly died in our place upon a Cross so that we could live with Him forever (Philippians 2:5-8; Revelation 22:12). He bore our sins upon Himself, and instead of us dying He died in our place. All you have to do is simply believe in your heart from this day forward the very thing that the teachings of Islam tell you to completely deny: The death and resurrection of the only begotten Son of the Living God (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

1 John 1:7b, “… the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

There is only one true Jesus, and as Christians we believe that it is the One that the “People of the Book” believed in many centuries before Mohammed, and still believe in to this very day. He is our Messiah. He is our Deliverer. He is our Salvation. And He can be yours, too. Any teachings that claim to be the “truth” or another “revelation” or a new “gospel” that denies or opposes the Scriptures that “the people of the Book” had already been given — the true Word of God whom the Lord has protected from corruption (Isaiah 59:21) throughout the ages — is to be rejected. Islam teaches another “Jesus.” Islam teaches another “revelation.” Islam teaches another “gospel.” Islam is to therefore be rejected.

Please think about this very carefully. In light of the fact that even Mohammed himself did not know for certain what would happen to him in the afterlife, why should any Christian who knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are guaranteed eternal life through faith in the Jesus of the Bible give up the Christian faith of Jesus for the Islamic faith of Mohammed which we know will guarantee us nothing? You, too, can have the same guarantee that we as Christians share. All you have to do is believe in and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Today is your day to believe. Tomorrow may be too late. Would you be willing to pray with an open heart and ask God to guide you to His truth, even if that truth is found in the Jesus of the Bible, and not in Islam?

Hullo~ I want to apologize about that one point I said about poison and meat and our prophet feeling the pain until the last of his days, apparently it was from a fake hadith found in the English translation. Ho ho, my bad.

Any who~ I just came back here to say that ^^ It’s been fun being in this site cause whatever I say won’t change your belief and whatever you say won’t change my belief. It’s kind of refreshing and calming :)

So, well done and have a nice day for today.
