Why Do Non-Muslims Convert To Islam?

The answer can be summed up in one word: deception. Islam calls it “taqiyya” …

According To Biblical Scripture, This Is The “Prophet” Of Islam

Dr. Mordechai Kedar, INN – “One of the things that worries the West is the fact that hundreds and maybe even thousands of young Europeans are converting to Islam, and some of them are joining terror groups and ISIS and returning to promote Jihad against the society in which they were born, raised and educated. The security problem posed by these young people is a serious one, because if they hide their cultural identity, it is extremely difficult for Western security forces to identify them and their evil intentions. This article will attempt to clarify the reasons that impel these young people to convert to Islam and join terrorist organizations.

The sources for this article are recordings made by the converts themselves, and the words they used, written here, are for the most part unedited direct quotations.

Many of the converts are convinced that Islam is a religion of peace, love, affection and friendship, based on the generous hospitality and warm welcome they receive from the Moslem friends in their new social milieu. In many instances, a young person born into an individualistic, cold and alienating society finds that Muslim society provides  – at college, university or  community center – a warm embrace, a good word, encouragement and help, things that are lacking in the society from which he stems. The phenomenon is most striking in the case of those who grew up in dysfunctional families or divorced homes, whose parents are alcoholics, drug addicts, violent and abusive, or parents who take advantage of their offspring and did not give their children a suitable emotional framework and model for building a normative, productive life.

The convert sees his step as a mature one based on the right of an individual to determine his own religious and cultural identity, even if the family and society he is abandoning disagree. Sometimes converting to Islam is a form of parental rebellion. Often, the convert is spurned by his family and surrounding society for his decision, but the hostility felt towards Islam by his former environment actually results in his having more confidence in the need for his conversion. Anything said against conversion to Islam is interpreted as unjustified racism and baseless Islamophobia.

The Islamic convert is told by Muslims that Islam respects the prophets of its mother religions, Judaism and Christianity, is in favor of faith in He Who dwells on High, believes in the Day of Judgment, in reward and punishment, good deeds and avoiding evil. He is convinced that Islam is a legitimate religion as valid as Judaism and Christianity, so if his parents are Jewish or Christian, why can’t he become Muslim? He sees a good many positive and productive Muslims who benefit their society and its economy, who have integrated into the environment in which he was raised, so why not emulate them? Most Muslims are not terrorists, so neither he nor anyone should find his joining them in the least problematic.

Report: 200,000 Christians “At Risk Of Slaughter” As Islamists Prepare Massive Assault In Nigeria

Nigerian Bulletin – “US intelligence officers say that the Boko Haram sect looks to be planning an attack on Maiduguri, a city with 2 million people in North-East Nigeria. This, it says, could mean 200,000 Christians could be at ‘risk of slaughter.’

J. Peter Pham said: ‘An attack on Madiguri is very likely,’ and he and a couple of experts believe that the terrorists have put ‘sleeper cells’ among refugees who have fled areas where the group attacked.

FOX News – “One person was killed, and two others injured, in a shooting near a Copenhagen synagogue early Sunday, just hours after a gunman with an automatic rifle opened fire on a cafe hosting a free speech event organized by a controversial Swedish artist who has faced threats for his caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.

Police said it wasn’t immediately clear if the incident was linked to the earlier shooting that killed one person and wounded two police officers.

In the latest shooting, Copenhagen police say one person was shot in the head while two police officers were shot in the arms and legs. The suspect fled on foot.

Police said the suspect in the earlier shooting at the Krudttoenden cafe drove away in a dark Volkswagen Polo after he sprayed the cafe with some 30 bullets. A 40-year-old Danish man attending the event was killed and three police officers were slightly wounded. Denmark’s security service declared the shooting an apparent terror attack.” Read more.

New York Times: The Islamic State Is Sprouting Limbs Beyond Its Base

Intelligence officials estimate that the group’s fighters number 20,000 to 31,500 in Syria and Iraq. There are less formal pledges of support from ‘probably at least a couple hundred extremists’ in countries such as Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Yemen, according to an American counterterrorism official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss confidential information about the group.

Lt. Gen. Vincent R. Stewart, the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, said in an assessment this month that the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, was ‘beginning to assemble a growing international footprint.’ …

Any authorization to use American military force against the Islamic State could arguably also cover interventions in Egypt and Libya, where active militant organizations have pledged allegiance to the group and have received its public acknowledgment as ‘provinces’ of the putative caliphate.

Although there is little or no public evidence that the Islamic State’s leaders in Syria and Iraq have practical control over its North African provinces, its influence is already apparent in their operations and is destabilizing the countries around them. In Egypt, the Sinai-based extremist group Ansar Beit al-Maqdis sent emissaries to the Islamic State in Syria last year to seek financial support, weapons and tactical advice, as well as the publicity and recruiting advantages that might come with the Islamic State name, according to Western officials briefed on classified intelligence reports.

Denmark: One Dead After Muslim Gunman Sprays Hail Of Bullets At Free-Speech Event

By Jan M. Olsen, Associated Press – “A gunman fired on a cafe in Copenhagen as it hosted a free speech event Saturday, killing one man, Danish police said. The event was organized by Swedish artist Lars Vilks, who has faced numerous threats for caricaturing the Prophet Muhammad.

Danish police said the gunman shot through the windows of the Krudttoenden cafe, which the TV2 news channel said were riddled with some 30 bullet holes. Helle Merete Brix, one of the event’s organizers, told The Associated Press that Vilks was at the meeting but was not hit.

‘I saw a masked man running past,’ Brix said. ‘I clearly consider this as an attack on Lars Vilks.’

Police were looking for the perpetrators, who they said drove away in a dark Volkswagen Polo after the shooting, which took place shortly before 4 p.m. (1500 GMT, 10 a.m. EST).

Police spokesman Henrik Blandebjerg said three police colleagues at the event were also shot.

Brix said she was ushered away with Vilks by one of the Danish police guards that he gets whenever he is in Denmark.

ISIS Defends Burning Jordanian Pilot Alive, Says “Prophet” Mohammed Would Have Done Same Thing

Inquisitr – “ISIS, the terror group known for issuing horrific videos of its members committing atrocities and sickening war crimes against defenseless prisoners, defended itself against the widespread anger that resulted from its latest video, in which a captured Jordanian pilot was shown being burned alive by ISIS executioners — then buried under a pile of rubble by a bulldozer.

The video released on to the internet February 3 depicted 26-year-old pilot Moaz al-Kasabeh imprisoned in a cage, where he was doused in gasoline and set on fire by his ISIS captors. The video produced immediate revulsion not only in the West — which has seen several of its own ISIS captives murdered in videotaped beheadings — but in the Muslim world as well, with even the government of Iran issuing a statement condemning the murder as ‘inhumane and un-Islamic.’

Another terrorist group, the Lebanese-based Hezbollah, condemned the death-by-burning of al-Kasabeh as ‘the most gruesome’ atrocity yet comitted by ISIS, while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan — who has been accused of covertly supporting ISIS by allowing the terror group’s recruits to cross Turkish borders into Syria — also expressed disgust with the videotaped murder.

‘I curse and damn the burning of the Jordanian pilot,’ Erdogan said.

Perhaps in response to what may have been an unexpectedly strong condemnation from other Muslims, ISIS used the latest issue of its propaganda magazine Dabiq to defend the burning of a living human being.

The article went on to attempt to justify the burning of al-Kasabeh in religious terms, saying that the ISIS killers ‘followed the footsteps of Allah’s Messenger … in his harshness towards the disbelievers.’

ANSAmed – “Twenty-one Egyptian Christians kidnapped by Isis in Libya around New Year’s are feared dead, after Twitter accounts linked to the Libyan branch of the so-called ‘Islamic State’ announced they had been slaughtered. There is no official confirmation yet but Egyptian media believe the news to be reliable and two pictures released by the same Twitter sources show what they describe as ‘the Islamic State carrying out the execution of Coptic prisoners in the province of Tripoli’. In the first picture five men wearing the notorious orange jumpsuit are kneeling while hooded hangmen armed with knives stand behind them. The caption, written in English, describes them as ‘the humiliated followers of the Coptic church’. In another picture more men wearing the orange jumpsuit appear in a line with their executioners under a message in English that reads ‘revenge for the Muslim women persecuted by Coptic crusaders in Egypt’. These pictures along with others were published by Dabiq, Isis’ online magazine in English, together with an announcement of the kidnapping but not of the execution. The abduction, already described by several sources as having taken place around New Year’s, was claimed on January 12 and there remains a faint hope that the news of the execution on Twitter is a fake stretching of the images released. The Egyptian government which set up a special crisis unit to follow the kidnapping did not confirm the death of the Copts.

Intense contacts ‘have been established with Libyan counterparts to clarify the situation and assess the truthfulness’ of the information provided reads a statement by the presidency. In the aftermath of the fall of Muammar Gheddafi, Libya has plunged into chaos with two governments claiming power with two armies and distinct militias. Within this framework the Islamic State managed to create a caliphate in the city of Derna and to extend its realm of action more or less as far as Tripoli and Bengasi. The Christian minority in Libya is increasingly at risk especially in the east of Libya where radical Islamists have grown more powerful and acts of intimidation and violence against Copts have risen. The new issue of ISIS’ magazine released today takes issue with Western leaders who assert that Islam is a religion of peace.

In the Dabiq magazine article, the writer said the wrongful “slogan” is also being used by “apologetic ‘du’āt’ [beggars] when flirting with the West.”

“They have repeated this slogan so much to the extent that some of them alleged that Islam calls to permanent peace with kufr and the kāfirīn. How far is their claim from the truth, for Allah has revealed Islam to be the religion of the sword, and the evidence for this is so profuse that only a zindīq (heretic) would argue otherwise,” the magazine states….

After a page worth of quotes from the Quran that “revealed the sword against the apostates,” the article asks, “So how can the zanādiqah (heretics) or even those who blindly follow them – Bush, Obama, and Kerry – obstinately claim that ‘Islam is a religion of peace,’ meaning pacifism?”…

It quotes more of the Quran, concluding “it is clear then that salām (peace) is not the basis of the word Islam, although it shares the same consonant root (s-l-m) and is one of the outcomes of the religion’s sword, as the sword will continue to be drawn, raised, and swung until ‘Īsā (Jesus – ‘alayhis-salām) kills the Dajjāl (the Antichrist) and abolishes the jizyah. Thereafter, kufr and its tyranny will be destroyed; Islam and its justice will prevail on the entire Earth.”

“…There will always be a party of Muslims fighting parties of kāfirīn until there is no more fitnah and the religion is completely for Allah alone.”

These people may have been beheaded for fighting against this militia, and hence in the militia’s eyes making themselves into heretics or apostates — unbelievers.

‘Libya; sources, 40 severed heads found in Bengasi,’ ANSAmed, February 11, 2015:

(ANSAmed) – IL CAIRO, 11 FEB – Forty severed heads were found in a training camp that the Libyan regular army took back from islamists militias, Libyan sources and media said Wednesday. The hospital of Bengasi received “forty human heads with no bodies”, said medical sources who did not further speculate on the finding made by Libyan special forces on patrol in the area.

Egyptian agency Mena quoted a Bengasi medical centre press office source as saying that the heads were recovered “in a training camp in the area of Bou Atny” taken back from the “Shura”, the coalitian of islamist militias active in the second Libyan city. Although the agency does not specify it, the “training camp” is presumably a different place from the strategic “base” Libyan special forces regained control of according to an Arab newspaper. The Libyan regular army and islamist militias with ties to Isis have been fighting for the control of Bengasi. Rebel forces lost the port and some of their strongholds and have retreated to a few pockets of resistance according to information provided by the army.

By Jared Owens and Dan Box, The Australian – “A VIDEO seized from the home of two Sydney men arrested this week shows a self-described ‘soldier of the caliphate’ brandishing a knife and pledging to begin ‘stabbing the kidneys and striking the necks’ of Islamic State’s enemies, Tony Abbott has told parliament.

Omar Al-Kutobi, 24, and Mohammad Kiad, 25, were allegedly about to kill or harm a member of the public with a knife as part of a terrorist attack but were arrested at a property in Sydney’s west on Tuesday afternoon.

The Prime Minister this afternoon gave a graphic description of the video, which he was shown at a counter-terrorism briefing in Canberra this morning.

‘Kneeling before the death cult flag with a knife in his hand and a machete before him one of those arrested said this: ‘I swear to all mighty Allah, we will carry out the first operation for the soldiers of the caliphate in Australia’,’ Mr Abbott told parliament.

‘He went on to say, Madam Speaker: ‘I swear to all mighty Allah, blond people, there is no room for blame between you and us. We only are you, stabbing the kidneys and striking the necks’.’ …

Earlier today, Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said one of the men suspected of planning a terror plot to kill a member of the public might have flown to Australia with false documentation.

The men were allegedly about to kill or harm a member of the public with a knife as part of a terrorist attack but were arrested on Tuesday afternoon at a property in Sydney’s west.

Police have alleged a machete, a hunting knife and an Islamic State flag were seized from a small, converted garage that the men shared in Fairfield in Sydney’s west.

Mr Dutton has now asked for an urgent review following suggestions one of the suspects used false documentation to enter Australia. He said there were about 50,000 people who also arrived on boats around that time, hampering intelligence agencies’ ability to check every person thoroughly.

‘It is a difficult situation, particularly that period of time, for the intelligence agencies,’ Mr Dutton said.” Read more.
