There Is No Peace, Says The Lord, For The Wicked

We have now all witnessed but a glimpse of the abhorrent atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th 2023 against innocent Israeli men, women and little children. Though we have only witnessed but a fraction of this barbaric and vile inhumanity, God has seen it all.

In light of these brutal and sickening attacks, a few things need to be said to all those defending the so-called Palestinians’ right to so-called “self-defense.” The following is a quick history lesson for anyone who has been brainwashed into defending these evil cowards.

First, archaeological records prove time and again that Israel existed thousands of years ago in the land of Judea and Samaria, and in Jerusalem, not “Palestinians.” It is, therefore, the “Palestinians” who fight to occupy land that doesn’t belong to them. Can anyone name just one famous “Palestinian” from the 19th century or earlier? Of course not. Why? Because “Palestinians” are an invented people that NEVER existed prior to 1967. According to a 1977 admission by Palestinian Liberation Organization Executive Committee Member Zuheir Mohsen:

“The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem …”

Furthermore, when Jordan attacked Israel in 1967, Israel captured the West Bank from JORDAN and captured Gaza and the Sinai from EGYPT during the same war. There’s a reason why the West Bank — which is on the eastern mountains of Israel — is called the “West Bank.” Just look at the Jordanian flag, and then look at the “Palestinian” flag. Behold, pure creative genius:

Palestinian Flag vs Jordanian Flag

If all of that weren’t enough, the Geneva Convention and UN Resolutions 242 and 338 reflect a very important fact that many “Palestinian” defenders conveniently ignore, which were much in the minds of governments of the day when the resolutions were adopted: The Six-Day War of June 1967 was, for Israel, a lawful exercise of the inherent right of self-defense recognized in Article 51 of the UN Charter. As a result, Israel’s occupation of territory beyond the Armistice Lines was a result of aggression by its neighbors.

In light of this little bit of history, please allow me to ask the following….Have you ever wondered why the “Palestinians” have no history, why they have no “Palestinian” language, no “Palestinian” culture, no “Palestinian” heritage and no “Palestinian” archaeology? The answer should be quite clear by now. The “Palestinians” have nothing to do with the land. It historically belongs to ISRAEL. It legally belongs to Israel.

As for any false claims of “genocide” against the so-called “Palestinians”, the fact of the matter is that it is HAMAS, under the demonic auspices of Islam, that calls for the genocide of Jews. Israel has NEVER called for the genocide of “Palestinians” in any way, shape or form:

It is therefore no wonder why the “Palestinians” call for the genocide of Jews: “Members of the Hamas terrorist group that controls Gaza have threatened Israel with genocide… the comments were made last week as Hamas marked the first anniversary of the IDF’s counter-terrorism Operation Pillar of Defense which took place in November of 2012… The victory speeches given by officials in Hamas repeatedly highlighted the group’s commitment to the liberation of all ‘Palestinian territory’, denying the right of the ‘Zionists’ to settle in the land of Israel and a declaration of the intent to perform genocide against Jews when the balance of power is reversed. This message was expressed in a speech on November 13, 2013 given by Khalil Al-Hayya, a senior Hamas figure who is a Hamas parliamentarian …” (https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/174338).

Or how about this “Palestinian Authority” official who once publicly called for the genocide of Jews as a religious Islamic goal? If they say these sort of things in public, what are they saying in private?

And as for war crimes, I can point to numerous instances where “Palestinian” terrorists and like-minded groups have intentionally misinformed, outright lied and even murdered as many innocent civilian men, women and children as possible numerous times before this latest morbid example. Can anyone point to instances where Israel has intentionally misled, lied and murdered innocent civilians? The “Palestinians” are guilty of war crimes time and time again, yet Israel continues to go out of its way to avoid civilian casualties as much as possible.

Mark my words. The demon-inspired atrocities of October 7th 2023 marks the beginning of the end, and a Day of Reckoning is Coming.

There’s a lot of silly religious fear-mongering going on about Israel’s new war being a sign of the end times. However, the bible’s end times came and went nearly two thousand years ago. It wasn’t the end of the planet and universe. It was Jesus’ return seen thru the violent, fiery end of the old covenant religious system and temple community.

The author of a Hebrews knew he was in the last days when he said….

    Heb 1:2 Has in THESE LAST DAYS spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world;

The author of Hebrews knew the end was not in the future, but in his present day.

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but NOW once IN THE END OF THE WORLD [age] has he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Jesus knew the last days were in that generation when he said…

Mat 24:34 Truly, I say to YOU (1st century disciples), THIS GENERATION will not pass away until all these things take place.

Peter knew it when he said…

“The END OF ALL THINGS IS AT HAND”(1 Peter 4:7)

John knew it when approximately 7 million hours ago, he said…

“Children, IT IS THE LAST HOUR.” (1 John 2:18)

Paul knew it when he told his Corinthian audience…

“Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, ON WHOM THE END OF THE AGES HAS COME.” (1 Cor 10:11)

Peter knew it when he said to his first century audience of descendants of the tribes of Israel…

“Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in THESE LAST TIMES for you,” (1 Peter 1:20)

Bad things may happen and difficult times may come, but they won’t be related to the bible story. We should be prepared for those times in rational ways. Trying to read current events into a redemptive narrative and eschaton that ended nearly two thousand years ago isn’t rational. It’s what religion does.

In light of the full counsel of Biblical Scripture, I have a slightly different take on what is meant by “last days” than what you suggest. (cf. Acts 2:17, 2 Timothy 3:1, Hebrews 1:2, James 5:3, 2 Peter 3:3). Using the Biblical model of Creation’s week we know that there were ~ 4,000 years from the Creation until Christ. These are the first “four days” of the “week.” Since the time of Christ, the next 2,000 years are days “five and six” and these final two days are what I view to be the “last days” of God’s timeline for humanity before the Day of the Lord. We are now nearing the end of the two last days of the “creation week” model and are approaching the “third day” after Christ’s first coming, the time when God is about to complete the work He had planned since the beginning of time, the “Sabbath Rest” of the Millennial Kingdom … day “seven.”

2 Peter 3:8, “… beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

In this light, it need not be that the author of Hebrews believed that his generation would see the end in their lifetimes. The writers of the New Testament simply understood, particularly in light of the “thousand years as one day” principle established in the Old Testament, that in God’s plan of Creation the Lord was to accomplish His work in the first “six days” (6,000 years) and now, with Christ’s first coming, they’ve begun the two “last days” of the creation week (days 5 and 6) which would be followed by one day of rest (1,000 years), and then by a new Heaven and New Earth.

Anonymous, “Jesus knew the last days were in that generation …”

Jesus was not referring to “this generation” in the sense that we often think of when we use the word “generation” in our modern English vernacular to refer to a narrow specific timeframe or lifespan (eg. 40 or 80 years). Rather, in the context of Matthew 23, Jesus used the word “genea” (G1074) metaphorically in reference to a spiritually blind, perverse and adulterous nation (cf. Matt 11:16, 12:39-42, 16:4, 17:17). Remember, Jesus was now telling them the parable of the Fig Tree (His disciples knew He was then referring to the nation of Israel) when He said that “this generation” would not pass away until all these things are fulfilled. And when it comes to Israel, Jesus is the Stone that the builders rejected (cf. Matt 21:42) and this generation — the spiritual blindness that led to them rejecting their Messiah — will continue until all those things that Christ prophesied to happen have been fulfilled. And indeed, this has remained true for nearly 2,000 years, just like Jesus said it would. The religious leaders of Israel still reject Him to this day. But a Day is coming when all these things come to pass and He will be rejected no more …

Matthew 23:29-39, “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees … indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’”

Zechariah 14:4, “And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.”

Zechariah 10:12b, “… then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.”

Romans 11:26, “And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob …”

Micah 5:5a, “This One will be our peace …”

The end did not come 2000 odd years ago, we are still here in greater abundance. The Olivet prophecy seems more apposite to now than then. Two thirds of the worlds population will die according to this prophecy, did that happen two thousand years ago. As the Lord said you can see the stars etc in the heavens yet cannot read what is before you!
There will be war and rumours of war, these troubles will be like no other troubles before it, there will be earthquakes, does that look like two thousand years ago or now?
Further, Jesus said, no man knows the time not even me! So these apostles did then?
