By Enrique Romero, El Independiente del Sureste (Mexico) via The Muslim Issue – “A man deranged, apparently a religious fanatic and follower of Islam, coldly slaughtered his elderly parents in the colony Pakalkin of this city, after he received [Allah’s] command to kill them, which made him wildly attack them with a knife.

The couple had just arrived from San Cristobal to visit their son who lives in this city of Palenque.

The bloody events took place after 9:00 pm yesterday, in a house that is located on the street Bonampak, Kin Pakal colony, when neighbors called the emergency number 066 to report the assault, after witnessing how the demoniac subject grabbed the back of the elderly woman while she was trying to escape to the street and then cut her throat with a knife. He then took her limp body and drag it to the house, where he left it by the body of the stepfather…

Several municipal police patrol arrived on the scene and surrounded the house while trying to convince the subject to surrender.

After several minutes a male person, who identified with the name of Gilberto Garcia Chavez, 43 years old, left the house wearing bermuda shorts and bloodstained shirt to be delivered to the municipal police.

They subjected him and put him under guard, and later entered the room located behind a home where they found two elderly people lying on the floor in a pool of blood with stab wounds in different parts of the body and a throat slit where life eluded them.

In the fourth of the murderer was found a copy of the Koran, the holy book of Islam where the prophet Muhammad proclaimed that Allah is God and Mohammed is his prophet. Apparently his parents did not belong to that religion, and that had put them in the crosshairs of the fanatic as ‘infidels’ and therefore worthy of death.

The prosecutor in turn, accompanied by experts from the District Attorney moved to the site to attest to the facts and carry out the removal of the bodies, of those respondents living names Naomi Chavez Garcia, 63 years old and Jacinto Aurelio Vargas, 65, native of Acapulco, Guerrero, to be transferred to the plates of Semefo to practice them the autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The suspect was handed over to the police officers of the State Specialized (PEE) to be transferred to the regional headquarters where he argued that the main reason which brutally murdered was because [Allah] asked him, since the opposite would be the soul that was to be sacrificed.” Read more.

I commend this group for making a stand. But something is woefully wrong in the Islamic community when a city that is home to hundreds of thousands of Muslims can only manage to draw 24 of them to protest against Islamic terrorism. So what’s wrong? This is what’s wrong …

By Robert Spencer, Jihad Watch – “One of the cornerstones of the argument over the last few days for keeping me out of the U.K. is the false claim that I ‘demonize all Muslims’ in my critique of jihad and Islamic supremacism. In reality, I point out that Islamic supremacists claim to represent the authentic interpretation of the Qur’an and Islam, that they make recruits among peaceful Muslims with this claim, that most reputedly ‘moderate’ organizations in the U.S. are tied to the Muslim Brotherhood (as has been abundantly established by the Justice Department), and that genuinely peaceful and non-supremacist Muslims have not effectively countered the Islamic supremacist appeal among Muslims.

All these facts are established anew by the tiny turnout at the small number of Muslim anti-terror demonstrations that have taken place. Several years ago a group called the Free Muslims Coalition held what it called a ‘Free Muslims March Against Terror,’ intending to ‘send a message to the terrorists and extremists that their days are numbered … and to send a message to the people of the Middle East, the Muslim world and all people who seek freedom, democracy and peaceful coexistence that we support them.’ In the run-up to the event it got enthusiastic national and international publicity, but it ended up drawing about twenty-five people. And that is about as many as this demo in Toronto drew. Now the group appears to be defunct; its website hasn’t been updated since December 2011.

“Unacceptable!” they reply.

Their voices carry across the grassy Legislature grounds that are, with the exception of a few bike cops and pedestrians, deserted. A stack of unused signs, their slogans reading “Hate is not my religion” and “Love it or leave my Canada,” lean up against a nearby pole.

Mighty but small, it was not quite the turnout the newly formed Progressive Muslims Institute Canada had in mind for their first rally, held last week. As one of the organizers mused with a chuckle, there were more white faces than brown in the crowd of roughly two dozen. Read more…

Muslim apologists claim that those who call Islam a violent religion take the Qur’an and Hadith out of context. But the Qur’an and Hadith say otherwise …

By Mark Durie, Gatestone Institute – “Recently, the journalist Paul Sheehan, reflecting on the Woolwich beheading of Drummer Lee Rigby, invited consideration of the view of Muslim violence in authoritative Islamic texts. In the Sydney Morning Herald of May 27, 2013, Sheehan observed that the Koran and the teachings of Muhammad seem to be a factor behind Muslim violence, and offered these critical observations:

• Many violent attacks on civilians are done in the name of Islam.
• The existence of violent Islamic sectarian conflict and the repression of religious dissent in Muslim nations give the lie to the ‘absurd claim’ that Islam is ‘the religion of peace.’
• Many verses in the Koran call for violence against unbelievers, and these are invoked by Muslims who murder others: ‘So many Muslims have been encouraged to murder civilians by such exhortations that the rate of violent incidents perpetrated in the name of Islam is staggering, a toll that shows no sign of subsiding.’

A rejoinder was published the next day by Associate Professor Mohamad Abdalla, founding director of the Islamic Research Unit at Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. Abdalla rejected the proposition that Islam supports killing innocent people: ‘A contextual reading of the Koran or Hadith leads to one conclusion only: there is no justification for killing of innocent people…’

Sheehan, while affirming that ‘Most Muslims are peaceful,’ did not say that Islam is the only factor behind Muslim violence, and he did not claim that the killers’ interpretations of religious texts were the only valid interpretation. He also nowhere used the label ‘innocent’ to characterize victims of Muslim violence; and he did not claim that Islam supports killing ‘innocent’ people. His point was simply that, according to some Muslims, violent verses in the Koran contribute to Muslims behaving violently.

Why did Abdalla introduce the word ‘innocent,’ and do his arguments have credibility?

Abdalla’s key point is that seemingly violent texts from Islam’s canon have to be read ‘in context.’ He explains that to put the Koran ‘in context,’ one must at least consider the following five factors:

• the context in which verses were ‘revealed’ to Muhammad;
• the principle of ‘abrogation’;
• other passages which address the same subject;
• the life of Muhammad, and
• the way the verse has been applied [by Muslim scholars].

Abdalla claims that Sheehan is not competent to pass judgement on the Koran because he lacks such knowledge. He also states, but offers no evidence to support the allegation, that taking ‘context’ into account will result in a more moderate interpretation of these sacred scriptures.

Taking context into account, however, can actually make a ‘peaceful’ verse quite nasty, and a violent verse even worse. There is nothing about ‘context’ that makes it a magic wand to render peaceful and harmless every text over which it is waved. Context is neither a silver bullet against violent texts, nor is it a disinfectant for theological unpleasantness.

It also needs to be understood that radical jihadis themselves use a contextual model to interpret the Koran: they do not simply rely on context-free interpretations or on proof-texts — quotes taken out of context to support an argument. The Bin Ladins of the world — and theologians such as Sayyid Qutb who paved the way for them — have been more than familiar with interpretive tools such as the ‘context’ of revelation, ‘abrogation,’ or the life of Muhammad. And according to Mr. Abdelbadie, the way the girl was dressed apparently overpowered his Islamic will. In other words, it’s the child’s fault …

He is currently studying Neurobiology at the University of Washington. In his free time, he volunteers with CAIR-Washington, promotes interfaith unity as Vice-President of Bridges (the University of Washington’s Interfaith Council), and walks the streets looking for little girls to ply with drugs and take back to his apartment. The only silver lining to this dark cloud of perversion is Abdelbadie’s unnamed friend, who called police after realizing that a sex-crime had just been committed. (If this friend happens to be Muslim, I tip my hat to him, for living a far better life than some of his Muslim brothers across the Atlantic have been living.)

Of course, perverts can come from all sorts of backgrounds. The point here, however, is that Muslim preachers keep telling us that Islam is the solution to Western immorality. With so many recent cases of Muslim pedophiles targeting little (non-Muslim) girls, I’d say that Muslim preachers have lost the right to tell us what Islam can do for the West. When a religion glorifies a man who had sex with a nine-year-old girl, allows its adherents to rape female captives, and calls anyone who rejects the religion ‘the worst of creatures’ (Qur’an 98:6), it will never benefit societies with large populations of unbelievers…

Washington—A University of Washington student accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl he picked up in the University District has been charged with child rape.

Currently free after posting bond, UW Senior Omar Abdelbadie is alleged to have plied the girl with marijuana, brought her back to his apartment and had sex with her hours after they met. Abdelbadie, a 22-year-old originally from Bellevue, was described by prosecutors as a threat to community safety, despite his lack of a criminal history.

“The defendant is a danger to children given the circumstances of this crime where he met a 12 year old girl on the street, exposed her to marijuana, and took her to his home, where they had sexual intercourse,” Senior Deputy Prosecutor Carol Spoor said in court papers…

According to charging papers, Abdelbadie told police he met the girl walking near University Avenue and claimed she was dressed “provocatively.”

Perhaps he was merely seeking “honest wedlock” in his own perverted way. After all, Mohammed could “marry” and molest a child, and this “highly respected” follower of the prophet does have “an excellent example to follow” himself …

Qur’an Sura 4:24a, “And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess. It is a decree of Allah for you. Lawful unto you are all beyond those mentioned, so that ye seek them with your wealth in honest wedlock …”

Qur’an Sura 33:21, “Indeed in Allah’s Messenger (Mohammad) you have an excellent example to follow for him who hopes in (meeting with) Allah and the Last Day…”

Lancashire Telegraph – “A 40-YEAR-OLD religious teacher has appeared in court charged with indecently assaulting a girl under the age of 13.

Suleman Maknojioa faces five allegations that he intentionally sexually touched the girl, who was receiving private tuition from him.

Blackburn magistrates were told the assaults were alleged to have taken place in front of two other children, who were also being taught by Maknojioa.

Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said that on the day he was arrested, Maknojioa, a highly-respected Hafiz, was due to teach 30 children at a Blackburn mosque.

Maknojioa, of Billinge Street, Blackburn, pleaded not guilty to all five charges, and was directed to stand trial at Preston Crown Court, where he is due to appear on July 10.

He was remanded on bail with the conditions that he does not have any unsupervised contact with, or teach any child under the age of 16.

Maknojioa was also told to surrender his passport, and told he must not contact witnesses.
