“TRIPOLI, Lebanon (Reuters) – One demonstrator was killed and two others were wounded in clashes with security forces in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli on Friday in protests over a film insulting the Muslim Prophet Mohammad and against the pope’s visit to Lebanon.
A security source said the man was killed as protesters tried to storm a government building. Earlier, a U.S. fast food restaurant was set alight. Twelve members of the security forces were wounded by stones thrown by protesters, the source said.
The U.S.-made film has sparked violent protests in Libya, where the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans were killed, and in Egypt, Yemen and Sudan and there are fears the demonstrations could spread to other Muslim countries.” Read more.

It’s a low-budget, amateurish film, but I found it funny and truthful about Islam (certainly more truthful than anything our pathetic joke of a president or our neutered, lapdog press have to say on the subject). And it took tremendous courage for the filmmaker to make this irreverent statement so publicly and post it on Youtube for the world (including the Muslim world) to see. Unfortunately, as the Ayatollah Khomeini once said, “There are no jokes in Islam.” And so our poor ambasssador was possibly raped and definitely murdered, and then dragged through the streets by a mob of savages. Because Islam is the “religion of peace.”

It is a very cheap and poorly made “film” with otherwise little educational value that isn’t worth wasting one’s time to view. Even if it more accurately exposes Mohammed’s true nature than what Islamists want to portray (and it certainly does), it has definitely served to exposed the true nature of Islam itself in the actions and reactions we’re now witnessing throughout the Muslim world, one which strives to mimic their “perfect example for mankind.” In other words, you’ll learn more about Islam and the teachings of Mohammed simply by watching the news today for ten minutes.

Thank you, the muslim reaction does say more about Islam and the demon god that they serve. Where I live I had never seen a muslim. However, I’ve noticed quite a few of them lately. My dentist is a muslim, and now I have next door neighbors that are muslims. They aren’t very sociable. They’re polite and that’s about it.
The lady next door always wears a hijab. There is a certain sadness about her. I pray for her on occasion. I should do it a lot more often. I don’t hate muslims, I feel sorry for them, although, I do hate Islam.

AMEN! I think that America is about to sprial into chaos. When and if this happens, we will really learn what it means to walk by faith, and not by sight. Our commission, to share the gospel hasn’t changed. I’m just not sure how to approach a muslim. I should probably shake them down first, just to make sure that they arn’t hidding cutlery, then I’ll share the gospel.

Denise, Jesus said “In those days they will deliver you up to death for My name’s sake.” That is just for being called a christian. The only place Christians are regularly being slaughtered is the holy land by Muslims. If Jesus was talking about Muslims, our Muslim brothers should reconsider their position because it does not end well for them. That’s how I would approach them. As well as the Gog Magog war (Ezekiel 38 & 39) which is upon us. Time is very very short. I suspect the Danial 9:27 (the 7 year peace treaty) will be the conclusion to the Gog Magog war. that starts the 7 year count down. We won’t know the “day or the hour” but we will know when it’s close “even at the door.”

How are “christians” supposed to spread the gospel or the good news Jesus talked about when they dont even know what it is? How can they talk to others about Jesus when they dont even know who he is? They all think Jesus is God Almighty himself. The actual good news that Jesus told to spread was that his Father has set up a new heavenly kingdom and anointed his son Jesus as King, and this Kingdom is the only hope for mankind on earth. This Kingdom is going to put an end to every governmental system on this earth and reign in true peace and security. We are to live on earth, not go to heaven (only a small select few go to heaven and rule with Christ. He said this is his “little flock”) God created this Earth for mankind to live on forever in perfect health and harmony with God never to die. The film is an excuse – it is to test to our Foreign policy, expose the weakness in leadership – which they have succeeded at and we will still aid them financially even after this. To all, especially Joel, I would say look deeper. These people are deeply frustrated with their own lives. Many spend more than 50% of their income on food. Because of the crop loses this summer due to drought the world-wide prices of grains rose by 10% in the recent month.
“When people lose everything and have nothing left to lose, they lose it!”

As Obummer created an American vacuum in the Middle East with his apologies, appeasement, and withdrawal, the vacuum was filled with Russia, Iran, Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Syria, and Islamist terrorists. It is refreshing that we had a leader in Romney who stepped forward to condemn these attacks when Obummer was apologizing, playing golf, appearing on the Dave Letterman show, and fund raising. It’s amazing, that, when one looks at a map of where these “events” are occurring, it is so wide spread and uniformly consistent that one is truly tasked to see them as isolated expressions of rage/discontent. How unusual that suddenly the “attack of the day” is to storm embassies. No buses blown up, no churches burned, no tankers blown up in the Straits of Hormuz, Suez canal is still open, no tourists kidnapped and beheaded…. how can this be?
Oh, yeah, it’s because somebody in the U.S. made a cheap movie they didn’t like. Yeah, RIGHT! And the 9/11 thing just Happened to be when they all saw the trailer….. dubbed into Arabic. Hate to say this, but 50% of Muslims are illiterate. They can’t read their own language. No organization here, right? Nobody behind that curtain…..

Supposedly, it’s all about the high cost of food, one might expect to see some grocery stores ran-sacked, I haven’t heard of even one. But, it’s probably just the bigot in me surfaceing again.

is probably the very reason that G-d assigned the languages to the different nations at the Tower of Babel that Aribic would be the language of Islam and the Koran. Google Allah, in Arabic and it is the exact representation of the serpent. G-d forced Satan to sign his name so that it could be recognized by everyone, no matter what language he or she spoke. Even if a person could not read or write they could recognize the universal symbol for Satan, so that everyone would be without excuse.

Since when does it take courage to make a crappy, bigoted film? All it takes is 5 bucks, a Betamax and some idiot actors. This situation would never have happened if Americans and others as well were informed about Muslims and Islam, Christians were (and in some places still are) as bigoted as some Muslims toward outsiders. Informed people realize that these are the fringe groups (think Westboro Baptist Church), not the majority. However, if we treat the majority the same way we treat the fringe groups, the majority inevitably joins with the fringe.
Despite have free speech rights in the U.S., I’m sick of seeing people use it to spew hatred and nonsensical lies. However, no matter of insult justifies the murder of a government official, especially since the film was only made in the U.S. and the Hilary Clinton already condemned it. The solution is to realize that Islamists are very sensitive about attacks against their religion and not provoke anything. Wake up people!

so where is this film that the world is condeming? this is becoming crazy. i don’t
know anyone that knows what is going on and yet the wh and state depart is
out there apologizing for (what?). the world has critisized the west and christianity
forever and no uprisings. what motivates the muslim nation? they can’t seem to
live with anyone else. so why are they being allowed into the us? to cause grief?
