This is the second time this week we’ve witnessed a powerful 7.0+ magnitude earthquake …

The Australian – “A LARGE earthquake, initially reported as 7.2, has been recorded in the islands north of Japan.

The USGS report placed the quake at a depth of 10km in the Kuril Islands, 258km east-north-east of Kuril’sk.

The initial report of 7.0 has since been revised upwards to 7.2.

The quake was felt in Hokkaido and much of the northern island of Japan. It was also reportedly felt in Tokyo.

No reports of injuries or tsunami have yet been made.

The Tsunami Information centre in the Hawaiian Islands reports that, based on past history of earthquakes in that area, a major tsunami is not likely.” Read more.

Muslim Persecution Of Christians: February, 2013

04/18/2013 Leave a comment

Matthew 10:22, “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”

By Raymond Ibrahim, Gatestone Institute – “Reports of Christian persecution by Muslims around the world during the month of February include (but are not limited to) the following accounts. They are listed by form of persecution, and in country alphabetical order, not necessarily according to severity:

Church Attacks

Egypt: Once again, soon after Friday prayers, a throng of Muslims in Fayoum province destroyed a Coptic church. The reason cited this time was that the church is ‘an unlawful neighbor to the Muslims who live adjacent to it and must therefore be moved.’ According to AINA, ‘The mob climbed to the church dome and started demolishing it and setting it on fire. The dome collapsed into the burning church and caused great damage. Muslims used bricks from the dome and the holy cross and hurled it at the altar inside the church, causing part of it to be demolished; all the icons of saints were destroyed. Muslims tried to assault Father Domadios and threw stones at him, but he was saved by a Muslim family who brought him away from the village in their car.’ Local Christian families were reported as staying indoors for fear of being assaulted by the Muslims. And, once again, although state security was present throughout this entire proceeding, it did nothing to prevent it. None of the perpetrators was arrested. Two days later, hundreds of Copts demonstrated, demanding a halt to the ongoing attacks on their churches. In response, the church was attacked again, by Muslims hurling more Molotov cocktails and stones while shouting ‘We do not want the church.’ Some Muslims climbed atop the church again to destroy completely the remains of the wooden dome.

Indonesia: Four churches were firebombed with Molotov cocktails in the world’s most populous Muslim nation. Two were attacked on a Sunday morning in South Sulawesi. Another two churches were attacked a few days later. All the churches suffered various degrees of fire damage. According to Barnabas Fund, the same region was earlier ‘ravaged in a bloody anti-Christian campaign by Islamic extremists between 1997 and 2001. Hundreds of churches and thousands of homes were destroyed; according to some estimates 30,000 Christians were killed and about half a million driven out in what amounted to ethnic cleansing…. The beheading of three girls as they made their way [to] their Christian school in Central Sulawesi in 2005 was among the most egregious.’ Elsewhere, in the village of Mekargalih, some 50 members of the Islamic Defenders Front descended upon a Pentecostal church, scaling its gates, vandalizing the building, and assaulting the church’s minister, including strangling him with his own necktie. The reason cited for this assault was that the church was operating without a permit. Two days later, the only person arrested and currently serving a three month prison sentence, was the minister, for continuing to hold services without a valid permit. The church, which has been running for 26 years, has made repeated attempts, at significant financial cost, to obtain the required permit but has been obstructed by local authorities. This was the third violent attack against the church by the Islamic party in the last two years. According to the minister’s wife, who has also been threatened and harassed, this latest attack has ‘traumatized’ the 400-strong congregation; many Christians are now too afraid to attend services.

Libya: A Coptic Christian church located in Benghazi, Libya, was attacked by armed Muslim militants. Initial reports indicate that at least one priest, Fr. Paul Isaac, was injured, as well as his assistant. This was the second church to be attacked in two months. Earlier, on Sunday, December 30, an explosion had rocked a Coptic Christian church near the western city of Misrata, where a group of U.S. backed rebels hold a major checkpoint. The explosion killed two people and wounded two others, all Egyptians.

ZanzibarArsonists set the Evangelical Church of Siloam aflame on the island, populated 99% by Muslims. The church was under construction following a previous attack in January 2012. The current attack follows a string of other attacks on church leaders and Christian property across the country. Two days earlier, a Catholic priest was shot dead on his way to church for Sunday worship. Two Muslim youths at the church entrance shot him in the head. A message signed by ‘Muslim Renewal’ later appeared saying, ‘We thank our young men, trained in Somalia, for killing an infidel. Many more will die. We will burn homes and churches. We have not finished: at Easter, be prepared for disaster.’ A few days before the slaying of the Catholic priest, an Assemblies of God pastor was beheaded by Muslims on the Read more…

Celebrating Death: Palestinians Cheered Boston Bombings, Handed Out Candy And Sweets

Yet the West will continue to support these Beasts of the Earth

Only One Religion Celebrates Death And Destruction

Only One Religion Celebrates Death And Destruction

By Ari Lieberman, INN – “On April 16, some Palestinian Arabs in Gaza cheered. They reportedly danced in the streets and handed out candy and sweets to motorists and pedestrians alike. They were not celebrating the inauguration of a new school or the completion of a hospital. Instead, they were celebrating death.

On April 16, some of the Palestinian Arabs of Gaza celebrated the Boston marathon atrocity. While our first responders were picking up severed limbs and tending to the wounded, these Palestinian Arabs, members of Hamas and Hizbullah, reveled in Boston’s misery.

That reaction to the horrific events in Boston was unsurprising. After the 9-11 attacks that killed 3,000 people, the Palestinian Arab response was quite similar. Old women were seen shrieking in jubilation while children passed out sweets and men cheered approvingly.

These are Israel’s so-called ‘peace partners.’ These are the people who are demanding that Israel relinquish all the land liberated during the Six-Day War of 1967. And these are the people who want to establish a twenty-third dysfunctional Arab state called ‘Palestine’ alongside Israel’s most vulnerable and populated areas.

April 17, 2013 marks the seventh anniversary of the Rosh Ha’ir suicide bombing in Tel-Aviv that claimed the lives of 11 civilians including Florida resident, 16-year-old Daniel Wultz. Then as now, civilians were targeted and murdered simply because they were there. Then as now, those who prepared the bombs made sure to pack them with an assortment of shrapnel to inflict maximum bloodletting.

And then as now, some Palestinian Arabs cheered as they witnessed mothers looking for their missing children and men unable to get up off the floor because of severed limbs. An Islamist jihadist culture – a culture that revels in death and destruction – encourages this type of aberrant reaction to the sufferings of others.

The Boston massacre and Rosh Ha’ir Arab homicide attack underscore the fact that the Read more…

Bashar Al-Assad Says West Will Pay For Backing Al Qaeda In Syria

04/18/2013 1 comment

Hey, he’s alive after all …

By Mariam Karouny and Dominic Evans, Reuters – “President Bashar Assad accused the West on Wednesday of supporting al Qaeda militants in Syria’s civil war and warned they would turn against their backers and strike ‘in the heart of Europe and the United States.’

Assad also launched his strongest criticism yet of neighboring Jordan for allowing thousands of fighters to cross the border to join a conflict he insisted his forces would win and save Syria from destruction.

‘We have no choice but victory. If we don’t win, Syria will be finished and I don’t think this is a choice for any citizen in Syria,’ the defiant president said in a television interview.

Assad’s forces have been fighting back across the country against rebels who have taken control of much of rural Syria and seized a provincial capital in March for the first time in two years of fighting.

The conflict started with mainly peaceful demonstrations but descended into a civil war in which the United Nations says at least 70,000 people have been killed. Islamist militants have emerged as the most potent of the anti-Assad rebels.” Read more.

Flashback: Syrian Rebels Pledge Their Allegiance To Al-Qaeda’s “Teach-Your-Children-To-Love-Death” Al-Zawahiri – “The leader of the al-Nusra Front, a jihadist group fighting in Syria, has pledged allegiance to the leader of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani said the group’s behaviour in Syria would not change as a result. Al-Nusra claims to have carried out many suicide bombings and guerrilla attacks against state targets. On Tuesday, al-Qaeda in Iraq announced a merger with al-Nusra, but Mr Jawlani said he had not been consulted on this. Al-Nusra has been designated as a terrorist organisation by the US.” Read more.

Flashback: Al-Qaeda Leader Zawahiri Urges Establishment of Islamic State in Syria to Help Return of Caliphate – “Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri has urged rebels to fight to establish an Islamic state in Syria, in an online audio message Sunday in which he also warned France against its military intervention in Mali. ‘Let your fight be in the name of Allah and with the aim of establishing Allah’s sharia (law) as the ruling system,’ he said in his first message posted on the Internet since last November. ‘Do all that you can so that your holy war yields a jihadist Islamic state,’ said Zawahiri, adding that such a state would help to re-establish the Islamic ‘caliphate’ system of rule.” Read more.

Flashback: Syrian Rebels: After Assad ‘We Have A Big Fight Against The Jews Ahead Of Us’ – “The results of Saudi Arabia’s tireless efforts were on display in Al-Midan, a suburb in southern Damascus where I recently interviewed rebel fighters. Mateen, a fighter who claimed to have traveled from Afghanistan, shared his ideas for Syria’s future after ridding it of the Assad dynasty. ‘We have to build a society of respect and brotherhood in accordance with the Prophet’s commandments … we have a big fight against the Jews ahead of us. We will take that up, God willing.’” Read more.

Egyptian Cleric: “Trust Me, Very Soon We Will See The Flag Of ‘There Is No God But Allah’ Flying Over The White House”

04/18/2013 1 comment

It may not be physically visible, but the flag is already there …

Egyptian Cleric Abu Islam, 3/28/2013: “We have four large Islamic groups: The Muslim Brotherhood, the Salafis, the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, and Al-Gama’s Al-Islamiyya. These are four significant powers. Is there anyone more qualified to lead the country than the Muslim Brotherhood? Then let the Muslim Brotherhood assume this responsibility. Who should be in charge of religious affairs in Egypt? The Salafis. Is any group more qualified than the Salafis to regulate theology? I choose the Salafis to run Al-Azhar and the Ministry of Religious Endowments. We are left with the army and the police. Which is the best to run the police? The Muslim Brotherhood? No. The Salifis? No. Al-Gama’s Al-Islamiyya is the best for the job. This leaves the army for the Egyptian Islamic Jihad. This is how disagreements can turn into pluralism, and I pray to Allah that this will be accepted by all, and the various powers of the Islamic nation will come together… Let’s give Islam a chance for once… Trust me, very soon we will see the flag of ‘There is no god but Allah’ flying over the White House. They are already holding (Muslim) prayers in the White House.”

‘Very Unusual’: Is Barack Obama Attempting To Cover Up A Possible Saudi Connection To The Boston Bombing?

04/18/2013 2 comments

Update: The Blaze is now reporting that “Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano had a fiery exchange with Rep. Jeff Duncan during a House hearing Thursday morning over reports that Al Alharbi is being considered for deportation. Napolitano refused to entertain a question regarding if it would be ‘negligence’ to deport someone who just days ago was a person of interest. ‘I’m not going to answer that question,’ she shot back after being pressed by Duncan and denying any knowledge of such a plan.” In addition, the government “is now considering not deporting Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi. ‘Just got a note from one of our investigative reporters that she has been told that there is now discussion that they may not allow this man to be deported'” …

By Paul Joseph Watson, Infowars – “The Saudi ‘person of interest’ suspected of being involved in the Boston Marathon bombings is being deported from the United States next week on ‘national security grounds,’ according to a terrorism expert, who notes that the move is ‘very unusual,’ especially given an unscheduled meeting yesterday between President Obama and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal.

The attempt to cover up a possible Saudi connection to the Boston attack could explain why authorities are scrambling to get their official narrative straight after photos emerged yesterday on the Internet showing numerous suspects carrying large backpacks, some of them middle eastern in appearance and two of the individuals having been almost certainly identified as employees of private military/security firm Craft International.

The FBI had set a press conference for 5pm EST yesterday afternoon but the event was cancelled hours after the photos were seen by millions of people online. The federal agency blamed the media for erroneous reporting, stating, ‘these stories often have unintended consequences.’

CNN also had to backtrack after they announced that a suspect had been arrested, a report that was subsequently denied by authorities. Reports of a ‘dark skinned man’ being arrested were later mothballed.

According to terrorism expert Steve Emerson, 20-year-old Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi national first suspected of being involved in Monday’s twin bomb attack, is being hastily deported. Alharbi was put under armed guard in hospital after the bombing, was visited by Saudi diplomat Azzam bin Abdel Karim, and later had his apartment raided by federal and state law enforcement agents.

‘I just learned from my own sources that he is now going to be deported on national security grounds next Tuesday, which is very unusual,’ Emerson told Fox News last night.

The news follows an unscheduled meeting between President Obama and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal at the White House yesterday afternoon. ‘The meeting was not on Obama’s public schedule,’ reports Reuters.

‘That’s very interesting because this is the way things are done with Saudi Arabia. You don’t arrest their citizens. You deport them, because they don’t want them to be embarrassed and that’s the way we appease them,’ Emerson told host Sean Hannity.

A scheduled 10 a.m. photo op between John Kerry and the Saudi Foreign Minister was also abruptly cancelled on Tuesday morning because Read more…
