A hero need not be defined by a few words when a photo like this speaks a thousand. Despite losing limbs, they still stand strong. May God bless Jeff Bauman and all victims of the Boston bombings …

By now you know this guy, Jeff Bauman. He’s the 27-year-old Boston bombing victim, who lost both legs in the blast, woke up in his hospital bed and IDed the suspects. That right there makes him a hero.

This takes it to the next level…

Here he is delivering an 18th birthday present to fellow Boston bombing victim and amputee, Sydney Corcoran.

This took place at Boston Medical Center, where they’re both recovering.

Happy birthday Sydney – and God bless Jeff Bauman. The world could use a few more people with that kind of heart and resilient spirit.

    is this the same man who was filmed with bleeding legs? the fake photo of a ma with bleeding legs torn off was actually a amputee and if he really had his legs blown of there would be blood every where and there was not. most surly if someong has a limb blown off they are not sitting up .

      katy please do some research before making such a comment. by the time the photo youre speaking of was taken he had already lost lots of blood. he was also given tourniquets to stop the bleeding. if blood is what you need to convince you, then this picture of him should be all the proof you need (caution): http://i.imgur.com/g5h5bMD.jpg
