Yellow Rain Falls In Tokyo? Pollen Excuse Exact Same As Chernobyl Yellow Rain Lie
“While the Japanese government continues to say that the yellow rain seen in Japan was simply ‘pollen,’ many have been reminded of a very similar occurrence after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
Almost on que, the Japan Meteorological Agency has confirmed the rain to be pollen after receiving hundreds of calls from concerned citizens.
The ‘’yellow rain’ seen Wednesday in the Kanto region surrounding Tokyo was caused by pollen, not radioactive materials as many residents had worried, the Japan Meteorological Agency said Thursday, reported the Japan Times.
That’s right, according to so called experts, enough pollen to cause hundreds to report their findings, rained down on Tokyo at the same time as a devastating nuclear disaster has released high levels of radiation at least 20km from the nuclear plant.
This explanation has reminded many of the yellow rain that hit after the Chernobyl disaster.
Similar to the explanation in Japan, government officials claimed that the yellow radioactive rain that fell in Gomel, Belarus was merely pollen and nothing to worry about. We now know that was a bold faced lie.
Women and children actually played in the puddles of yellow rain after the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl.” Read more at The Intel Hub.
Japan Extending Evacuation Zone Around Fukushima Nuclear Plant
“By HIROKO TABUCHI, KEITH BRADSHER and DAVID JOLLY – TOKYO — Japanese officials began encouraging people to evacuate a larger swath of territory around the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant on Friday as new signs emerged that parts of the crippled facility are so damaged and contaminated that it will be hard to bring the plant under control soon.
The authorities said that they would now assist people who want to leave the area from 12 to 19 miles outside the plant and that they were now encouraging ‘voluntary evacuation’ from the area. Those people had been advised March 15 to remain indoors, while those within a 12-mile radius of the plant had been ordered to evacuate.
The United States has recommended that its citizens stay at least 50 miles away.” Read more.
Japan Official: Fukushima Reactor No. 3 with MOX Fuel May Be Breached and Leaking Radioactive Material
Read here about the type of fuel that is being used in reactor No. 3.
By the CNN Wire Staff – “Tokyo (CNN) — Authorities in Japan raised the prospect Friday of a likely breach in the all-important containment vessel of the No. 3 reactor at the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, a potentially ominous development in the race to prevent a large-scale release of radiation.
Contaminated water likely seeped through the containment vessel protecting from the reactor’s core, said Hidehiko Nishiyama of the Japan nuclear and industrial safety agency.
Three men working inside the No. 3 reactor stepped into water this week that had 10,000 times the amount of radiation typical for that locale, Nishiyama said. That water likely indicates ‘some sort of leakage’ from the reactor core, signaling a possible break of the containment vessel that houses the core.” Read more.
Radiation Is Extending Beyond Safety Zone, Report Says
“By JURO OSAWA – TOKYO—Levels of radioactivity from Japan’s damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear complex are above government limits for infants in some areas outside the plant’s 12-mile evacuation zone, according to the latest estimate to fuel an international debate over how close civilians should be allowed to the plant.
The new estimate, by a state-funded monitoring body, came as fears over Tokyo’s tap water eased. Tests Thursday showed radioactive material in a major plant supplying water to the capital has fallen beneath the level the government says could pose long-term health risks to infants. Elevated levels at the plant Tuesday and Wednesday sparked official warnings and bottled-water sales.
Japan’s Nuclear Safety Technology Center, a government monitoring group, released the estimate late Wednesday of the cumulative exposure to radiation in zones surrounding the Fukushima Daiichi complex. The estimate covered the 12 days since Japan’s March 11 earthquake and tsunami spurred fires, explosions and spikes in radioactivity levels at the complex.” Read more.
NBC Reports on New Oil Spill in Gulf, Fisherman Says He Was In It for 10 Hours
“Brian Williams: And now let’s bring it back here at the scene of last years’s huge environmental disaster in this country, well, it’s back in the news tonight — fresh signs of oil in the waters off Louisiana. The first reports started to surface along with a sheen on the water over the weekend, now there’s more evidence and a bigger response, and a search for the culprit …”
Black Smoke Coming from Fukushima Reactor No. 3 with Deadly MOX Fuel, Tokyo Fears Contamination
A neutron beam was observed at least 13 times, and now word that black smoke was coming out of Fukushima reactor no. 3 today. This is the reactor filled with MOX fuel. That means plutonium. It doesn’t look like this problem is going away any time soon.
“High levels of radiation have reached Tokyo following the accident at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant. People in the capital have been told not to drink tap water. The country’s struggle to resolve its nuclear crisis has again been stalled, with workers at the Fukushima plant evacuated after black smoke emerged from one of its reactors. RT’s Igor Ogorodnev is in the Japanese capital for us.”
CAUGHT ON TAPE: Former SEIU Official Reveals Secret Plan To Destroy JP Morgan, Crash The Stock Market, And Redistribute Wealth In America
Listen to the full uncut audio and read the transcript here. Now that this has become public the American government needs to investigate and prosecute these people immediately to the fullest extent of the law. But then again, given some of Obama’s past comments and associations, I wouldn’t be surprised if even he and his administration wanted them to succeed.
“A former official of one of the country’s most-powerful unions, SEIU, has a secret plan to ‘destabilize’ the country.
The plan is designed to destroy JP Morgan, nuke the stock market, and weaken Wall Street’s grip on power, thus creating the conditions necessary for a redistribution of wealth and a change in government.
The former SEIU official, Stephen Lerner, spoke in a closed session at a Pace University forum last weekend.
The Blaze procured what appears to be a tape of Lerner’s remarks. Many Americans will undoubtely sympathize with and support them. Still, the ‘destabilization’ plan is startling in its specificity, especially coming so close on the heels of the financial crisis.
Lerner said that unions and community organizations are, for all intents and purposes, dead. The only way to achieve their goals, therefore–the redistribution of wealth and the return of ‘$17 trillion’ stolen from the middle class by Wall Street–is to ‘destabilize the country.’
Lerner’s plan is to organize a mass, coordinated ‘strike’ on mortgage, student loan, and local government debt payments–thus bringing the banks to the edge of insolvency and forcing them to renegotiate the terms of the loans. This destabilization and turmoil, Lerner hopes, will also crash the stock market, isolating the banking class and allowing for a transfer of power.” Read more.
Radiation Levels Rise in Tokyo Tap Water as New Evacuations Ordered at Nuke Plant
“A spike in radiation levels in Tokyo tap water spurred new fears about food safety Wednesday as rising black smoke forced another evacuation of workers trying to stabilize Japan’s radiation-leaking nuclear plant.
Radiation has seeped into vegetables, raw milk, the water supply and seawater since a magnitude-9 quake and killer tsunami crippled the Fukushima Dai-ichi power plant nearly two weeks ago. Broccoli was added to a list of tainted vegetables, and U.S. and Hong Kong officials announced a block on Japanese dairy and some produce from the region.
The crisis is emerging as the world’s most expensive natural disaster on record, likely to cost up to $309 billion, according to a new government estimate. The death toll continued to rise, with more than 9,400 bodies counted and more than 15,600 people listed as missing.” Read more.
Colorado Farmland Goes Dry as Suburbs Secure Water Supplies
“Colorado farmers still own more than 80 percent of water flowing in the state, but control is rapidly passing from them as growing suburbs move to secure supplies for the future.
The scramble is intensifying as aging farmers offer their valuable water rights to thirsty cities, drying up ag land so quickly that state overseers are worried about the life span of Colorado’s agricultural economy.
‘The status quo has been going to agriculture (interests) and buying and drying. That’s not good,’ said John Stulp, a cattle rancher and former state agriculture commissioner who is Gov. John Hickenlooper’s special policy adviser on water. ‘We need to do it in a smarter way.’
Since 1987, Colorado farmers and ranchers have sold at least 191,000 acre-feet of water to suburbs, according to a review of water transactional data. (That’s enough water to fill Chatfield Reservoir nine times— and enough to sustain 382,000 families of four for a year.)” Read more.
High Radiation Levels Fuels Fears Over Japanese Fish
“High radiation levels have been found in the sea off Japan’s earthquake-stricken nuclear power plant, fuelling fears about the impact on the nation’s fishing industry.
Operator Tokyo Electric Power said unusual amounts of five kinds of radioactive material had been found in water samples near the Fukushima Daiichi plant. One of the substances, Iodine-131, was found at nearly 127 times the permitted level.
Officials said there was no immediate threat to human health from the apparent contamination of the water by radiation leaking from the power station, which had its cooling systems knocked out by an earthquake and tsunami on March 11.
But the discovery is a blow to the fishing industry, heightening concerns about the implications of the atomic crisis for food safety.” Read more.
Fresh Oil Continues to Wash Ashore in the Louisiana Bayou
“Fresh Louisiana crude washed into the beaches and dock areas near Grand Isle over the weekend, creating a sickening sight for the residents of this oil battered region. The reddish brown crude and oily sheen lapped onto the sandy and rocky shores, while some people flocked to Grand Isle’s famous white beaches for spring break unaware of the oily assault nearby.
Grand Isle Mayor David Camardelle said the oil had had hit Elmers island and Lafourch beaches near the main beach area of Grand Isle. He said the oil appeared to be about two miles offshore over the weekend but then started coming ashore to the west of the island. “It reminded me of the first time we saw oil last summer, a brown reddish sheen.”
The Coast Guard says it is mobilizing workers to lay fresh boom in environmentally sensitive areas and arranging for additional cleanup crews to help as oil comes ashore.
The Coast Guard has confirmed that oil slicks have impacted Louisiana shore around the beach resort of Grand Isle and further to the west. The Wall Street Journal is reporting today that oil continues to wash ashore in the Grand Isle area and impact the coastline. Here’s how the paper describes it:” Read more.
US Military Considering Mandatory Evacuations in Yokosuka as Radiation Levels Rise
“The U.S. military is considering the mandatory evacuation of thousands of American troops and their families in Japan out of concern over rising radiation levels, a senior defense official tells CNN.
The official, who did not want to be on the record talking about ongoing deliberations, says there are no discussions to evacuate all U.S. troops across the country. The talks have focused exclusively on U.S. troops in Yokosuka, just south of Tokyo, the official said. Yokosuka is home to America’s largest naval base in Japan. The military is monitoring radiation levels on a constant basis.
As of Monday, the U.S. Navy had no more warships in port at the base. The aircraft carrier USS George Washington, which had been undergoing maintenance in Yokosuka, left port Monday in order to get away from the plume of radioactive particles that could blow over the base. Because it left port with a much smaller than normal crew, the George Washington will not take part in the Japanese relief effort.
The official said the talks originated with Pacific Command, the military authority that directly oversees U.S. troops in the region, but ‘discussions have since taken place here in Washington as well.” Read more.
