Report: Syria Green-Lights ‘Operations’ Against Israel On The Golan Heights, Threatens Missile Attacks

By Avi Issacharoff, The Tower – “Two mortar shells struck Israel’s Golan Heights on Monday in the early evening local time. Though the IDF described the mortars as accidental spillover from fighting across the border in Syria, they are bound to deepen fears of escalating violence in the region.

On Friday and Sunday Israel reportedly struck Iranian and Hezbollah assets based in Syria. The Israelis have subsequently made extensive efforts to dampen tensions – IAF jets had conducted the air strikes from Lebanese air space, staying out of Syria – but nonetheless Damascus has been signaling that it may escalate the situation.

Most pointedly, Syrian state TV announced today that President Bashar al-Assad was activating Palestinian groups to retaliate against Israel.

Al-Ikhbariya announced that the government had given a green light to Palestinian groups to conduct ‘operations’ against Israeli targets on the Golan Heights. Hezbollah-linked media, meanwhile, reported that Lebanon and Syria had established ‘popular committees’ ready to fight Israel in the region.

The Kuwaiti daily newspaper Al Rai, quoting sources close to Assad, reported that the Syrian leader had used Russian backchannels to tell the Israelis that Damascus would react if Israel struck Syria again. Syria, they said, would consider any such act a declaration of war and would contemplate firing surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles at Israel.

Syrian sources told a range of media outlets that Damascus had deployed missile batteries aimed at Israel that could respond to any further Israeli actions.” Read more.

Turkey: 62% Of Turkish Men Support Wife Beating, Murder Rate Of Women Increases 1400% Since Election Of Islamist AKP Party

This couldn’t possibly have anything to do with that religion again, could it? To the Islamist mind, a woman’s uncovered head is sinful. But beating and even killing a woman for “disobedience”? Why, that’s just splendid. As Turkey’s government pushes Islam down the collective throats of each and every citizen, the mistreatment of women is something that Muslim men are now finding much easier to swallow …

Daniel 11:37a, “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women …”

Qur’an Sura 38:44, “And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath …”

By Daniel Greenfield, Frontpage Mag – “In entirely unrelated news, Turkey’s murder rate for women increased 1400% as the Islamist AKP party solidified its group on the formerly secular nation.

Islam has a notoriously progressive attitude toward women with Mohammed declaring that most of those in hell are women. And as Turkey has drifted closer to Islam, the treatment of women has grown uglier.

A survey of 3500 Turkish men conducted by the University of Kirikkale and the organisation ‘Happy Children’ prove what is anyway a truism in Turkey: of course most Turkish men consider violence against women to be completely normal, sensible and practical.

28 per cent of those polled thought violence against spouses to be indispensable: it was needed to discipline them. 34 per cent were more moderate and thought violence against spouses was only ‘necessary’ ‘occasionally’.

Wife-beating is part of Islamic law with specific instructions how and when to do it. There are Muslim wife beating manuals and clerics constantly lecturing on the right way to beat your wife. And all of it is there in the Koran and the Hadiths.

Abu Dawud (2142) – “The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife.”

Bukhari (72:715) – A woman came to Muhammad and Read more…

UN Report: An Astounding 99.3% Of Egyptian Women Have Experienced Harassment (And It’s Getting Worse)

This couldn’t possibly have anything to do with the religion that treats women as hell-bound, sin-inducing, intellectually deficient, inferior, little-more-than-a-man’s-possession and deserving-of-a-good-beat-down-when-disobedient, could it? …

Daniel 11:37a, “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women …”

The worst sin and distraction from virtue that I have left for man is woman” – Prophet of Islam, Mohammed, Sahih AlBukhari, 5096

“When I stood on the door of hell, I saw most of its inhabitants were women” – Prophet of Islam, Mohammed, Sahih AlBukhari, 5196

Qur’an Sura 4:34, “Men have authority over women because [Allah] has made the one superior to the other… Good women are obedient… As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them…”

ByAleem Maqbool, BBC News – “A recent UN survey suggested an astounding 99.3% of Egyptian women had experienced harassment of one form or another. Sixty percent of those asked said they had been touched inappropriately.

Of course, the problems started within Egyptian society long before the 2011 revolution that ousted Hosni Mubarak, but they do appear to be worsening.

And just when the issue of sexual harassment needs decisive action, Egypt’s Information Minister Salah Abdul Maksoud has caused outrage by making remarks to a female reporter that appear highly derogatory, though the minister himself is unrepentant.

‘In the news conference, I asked him: ‘Where is media freedom?” says the journalist involved, Nada Mohamed.

‘He said to me: ‘Come here and I’ll show you.’ Then he laughed,’ she says. ‘This was clear harassment. I was shocked.’

As it happens, Ms Mohamed’s parents both accompanied her to the news conference.

‘We went with Nada because things are so bad these days with security for girls, I don’t want to leave her alone,’ says her father, Mohamed. ‘I call her 10 times a day if I am not with her, I am so worried.’

‘Then the minister said what he did and I was so angry, but it was not the place to start shouting. But I am happy other people have responded.'” Read more.

Flashback: Muslim Brotherhood ‘Paying Gangs To Go Out And Rape Women And Beat Men Protesting’ Against Morsi – “Egypt’s ruling party is paying gangs of thugs to sexually assault women protesting in Cairo’s Tahrir Square against President Mohamed Morsi, activists said. They also said the Muslim Brotherhood is paying gangs to beat up men who are taking part in the latest round of protests, which followed a decree by President Morsi to give himself sweeping new powers.” Read more.

Flashback: Egypt: Girls Sexually Harassed ’7 Times Every 200 Meters’, Well Over Two-Thirds Of All Women Harassed Daily – “As the new school year begins next week in Egypt, school girls and their families are preparing to face yet another year of sexual harassment, this time waiting for the children outside their schools. Egyptian mothers worry about their young daughters, who are subjected to sexual harassment outside their gated schools and daughters only pray to go home safely after the day has ended. The phenomena of men waiting outside girls only schools to sneak a view, harass and self-expose themselves has made even school a difficult trip to take on a daily basis.” Read more.

Flashback: Grand Mufti Of Saudi Arabia Calls For ‘Destruction Of All Churches In Region’ – “According to several Arabic news sources, last Monday, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, declared that it is ‘necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.’ The Grand Mufti made his assertion in response to a question posed by a delegation from Kuwait, regarding the position of a Kuwaiti parliament member who recently called for the ‘removal’ of churches (he later ‘clarified’ by saying he merely meant that no churches should be built in Kuwait). The Kuwaiti delegation wanted to confirm Sharia’s position on churches. Accordingly, the Grand Mufti ‘stressed that Kuwait was a part of the Arabian Peninsula, and therefore it is necessary to destroy all churches in it.’” Read more.
