Intelligence Officials: More Warnings of al-Qaida Terror Plots Coming

05/09/2011 Leave a comment

By Ronald Kessler – “The FBI Laboratory has custody of the more than 100 items seized in the raid of Osama bin Laden’s compound, and clues from this material will likely lead to warnings of more al-Qaida plots, intelligence officials tell Newsmax.

The bureau played a key role in helping to train U.S. Navy SEALs for their mission, focusing on the commandos’ task of gathering evidence about al-Qaida in the compound. After 9/11, the FBI took on the role of safeguarding any material seized in U.S. counterterrorism actions around the globe. It helped to preserve the chain of custody should the material be presented as evidence in a prosecution by the United States or by other countries. In addition, the FBI is in the best position to analyze fingerprints, DNA traces, and handwriting.” Read more.

Egypt: 50,000 Attend Islamist Rally: ‘The United Arab States and the United Islamic States are Inevitably Coming, and Soon We Will Have One Caliph to Rule Us All’

They say that attacks against Coptic Christians in Egypt is wrong because they’re ‘protected by Islam’ as Dhimmis who pay the Jizya tax.  But what they don’t tell you, of course, is that the Jizya tax upon non-Muslims will be abolished by the ‘Islamic Jesus’ either because all non-Muslims will have already been killed, or because it will remove the so-called ‘protection’ given to Dhimmis (non-Muslims) that are still alive because by this time “all mankind will be required to embrace Islam with no alternative”, or be killed …

By Hany ElWaziry – “More than 50,000 people on Saturday attended a joint rally held by the Muslim Brotherhood group and Salafis in Haram district, Giza.

The organizers chanted slogans stating that the Brotherhood and the Salafis are one, and that both seek to apply the Islamic Sharia.

‘The United Arab States and the United Islamic States are inevitably coming,’ said prominent Salafi preacher Safwat Hegazy at the rally. ‘And soon we will have one caliph to rule us all.’

Hegazy condemned those who burnt the church in Imbaba on Saturday. ‘They are not Salafis or Brothers, nor are they Egyptians,’ he said. ‘They are the enemy that incites sectarian strife.’

Salafi preacher Mohamed Hassan, for his part, called on all Islamic groups to reassure Muslims and Christians alike. ‘Egypt does not belong to the Muslims alone,” he said. “And Copts are protected by Islam. They need not resort to the United States for that.'” Source.

05/09/2011 Leave a comment

“An Anglican bishop in the Church of England has criticized the West’s reticence on violence against Christians and other minority communities in the Middle East, South Asia and other parts of the world.

Writing in the latest edition of Standpoint magazine, Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali said the United Nations had taken the necessary steps to protect people in Libya from attacks by their own government, but questioned why the United Nations or the West was ‘unable to tackle the widespread and growing persecution of Christians?’

He voiced particular concern over Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, where the Christian communities face regular attacks and harassment at the hands of Muslims.”  Read more.

Housing Crash Worsens as Home Values See Biggest Drop Since 2008

“U.S. home values fell in the first quarter at the fastest rate since late 2008, real estate data firm Zillow said on Monday, suggesting that a bottom will not be seen until 2012 at the earliest.

Zillow said its home value index fell 3 percent in the first three months of the year from the previous quarter, and was down 8.2 percent year-over-year.

The number of homeowners under water—or, those who owe more on the mortgage than their house is currently worth—amounted to 28.4 percent of single-family homeowners, representing a peak since Zillow began calculating the data in 2009.

That was up from 27 percent in the fourth quarter of last year.”  Read more.

Fukushima’s Groundwater Contamination May Be the Worst We’ve Ever Seen in Nuclear History

05/09/2011 Leave a comment

Chief Nuclear Engineer A. Gundersen discusses Fukushima ground water contamination, which could be the worst contamination in the history of the nuclear industry, and discusses a letter from a Japanese government nuclear official and how the Island of Japan was “just plain lucky due to the favorable meteorological conditions during the entire developments of the accident…  We were very lucky even with a large release from 1F3, due to the most severe hydrogen explosion, that could have induced a heavy land contamination.  This resulted from the wind direction toward the sea at the time of the release, although this must have resulted in a wider ocean contamination far from the Fukushima Daiichi.”

Bin Laden’s Final Message to America: Our Attacks Will Continue as Long as You Support Israel

Addressing US President Barack Obama, he said: ‘America will not be able to dream of security until we live in security in Palestine. It is unfair that you live in peace while our brothers in Gaza live in insecurity.’

‘Accordingly, and with the will of God, our attacks will continue against you as long as your support for Israel continues,’ he warned in a message posted on Shamikh1.net, a conduit for Al-Qaeda communications.” Read more.

Riots, Church Burning Drag Muslim-Christian Relations to New Low in Post-Revolution Egypt

“CAIRO — Relations between Egypt’s Muslims and Christians degenerated to a new low Sunday after riots overnight left 12 people dead and a church burned, adding to the disorder of the country’s post-revolution transition to democracy.

The attack on the church was the latest sign of assertiveness by an extreme, ultraconservative movement of Muslims known as Salafis, whose increasing hostility toward Egypt’s Coptic Christians over the past few months has met with little interference from the country’s military rulers.”  Read more.

Why Egyptians Want War With Israel: It’s in the Koran

05/08/2011 Leave a comment

By Robert Spencer – “Fifty-four per cent of Egyptians want to scrap the Camp David accords that have kept an uneasy peace with Israel since 1979—in yet another blow to the credibility of the many analysts and commentators who assured the American people that the Egyptian uprising heralded the dawn of a new, secular democracy there. A new poll conducted by the Pew Research Center reveals that a significant number of Egyptians manifest a deeply ingrained Islamic antisemitism that leads them to hate Israel—and the Camp David accords—for religious, not political, reasons.

‘Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews …’ 5:82. The Koran contains a great deal of material that forms the foundation for a hatred of Jews that has persisted throughout Islamic history. It portrays the Jews as the craftiest, most persistent, and most implacable enemies of the Muslims—and there is no Islamic authority that has moved to mitigate the most destructive interpretations of all this. The Koran’s material on the Jews remains the prism through which far too many Muslims see the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Camp David accords, and Jews in general to this day.” Read more.

Muslim American Society Official Calls Bin Laden a ‘Visionary’

“A leader of a major American Muslim organization, the Muslim American Society (MAS), is arguing that there ‘was nothing wrong with’ Osama bin Laden’s dream of creating a renewed Caliphate. Khalilah Sabra’s comments are the most recent and worrisome from the group, which has a long history of defending alleged terrorists.

Sabra, the director of the North Carolina branch of MAS’ Freedom Foundation, made the statement in a sometimes disjointed article entitled ‘Agreeing to Disagree About the Death of Osama Bin Laden’ that was released Wednesday under the MAS logo. The statement aligns more with a period of Sabra’s life in the late 1980s, when she traveled to Afghanistan with bin Laden’s predecessor, Abdullah Azzam, to provide aid to the mujahideen fighting the Soviet Union.”  Read more.
