Final Bin Laden Doomsday Tape May Be Released by Al Qaeda Disciples; U.S. Officials Fear Backlash

BY Bill Hutchinson – “A doomsday tape made by Osama Bin Laden was poised to be released Monday by his Al Qaeda disciples.

U.S. officials feared the recording would be akin to a voice from the grave calling for a do-or-die jihad against the West, a final order of a terrorist madman.

Just a day after U.S. Navy SEALs raided Bin Laden’s luxury hideout in Pakistan and snuffed him out, media outlets were weighing whether to air a tape that could boost his legacy as a martyr.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer said he was getting bombarded with Twitter messages from viewers pleading with the network not to air Bin Laden’s propaganda.

Blitzer’s colleague Anderson Cooper said he sided with those who had no desire to hear from a hater.

‘Bin Laden a mass murderer who should never be heard from again,’ Cooper said Monday.

It was unclear whether the tape is audio or video, but a U.S. official said intelligence indicates Bin Laden ordered it to be released in the event of his death.”  Read more.

WikiLeaks: Osama Bin Laden Killed After Tip-Offs from Guantanamo

By Tim Ross – “Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), who was repeatedly subjected to methods including ‘waterboarding’ and stress positions, provided the CIA with the name of bin Laden’s personal courier, according to US officials.

A second source – also an al-Qaeda ‘leader’ held at Guantanamo Bay – then confirmed the courier’s identity, sparking an intense manhunt that resulted in the dramatic final raid.

Secret documents seen by The Daily Telegraph disclose that this second source – the terrorist operations chief, Abu Faraj al-Libi – played a key role in finding ‘safe havens’ for bin Laden and lived in the military town where he was finally found.

The killing of the world’s most wanted man as a direct result of information obtained from Guantanamo detainees such as KSM will reignite the debate over whether torture is a legitimate interrogation technique in the ‘war on terror’. Both KSM and al-Libi were subjected to harsh techniques during their interrogations in CIA prisons.”  Read more.

Nearly 10,000 Bats Die in Cave in Pennsylvania

“Of the 10,000 bats that have hibernated in an abandoned mine in Upper Bucks County for generations, only about 200 are still alive, officials said Friday.

Durham’s bats became infected with White Nose Syndrome, a mysterious disease that’s killing off bat colonies at an alarming rate from Vermont to Virginia.

In late March, Game Commission biologist Greg Turner checked in on the bats hidden in the hillside of Upper Bucks and found near devastation.

‘We’re looking at a 99 percent decline,’ he said.”  Read more.

Taliban: Islamists Planning to Mount Attacks in Response to Death of Osama Bin Laden

By Ghaith Abdul-Ahad – “A Taliban commander in Afghanistan has promised that his fighters would mount attacks to avenge the killing by US forces of Osama bin Laden.

The commander, who gave his name as Qudos and operates in the northern province of Baghlan, said: “The killing of Osama bin Laden will bring no change to jihad. Osama is the leader of al-Qaida and he is a powerful man in jihad. Losing him will be very painful for the mujahideen, but the shahadat [martyrdom] of Osama, will never stop the jihad. We will continue our fight until we liberate our lands from the Kafirs.”

He said his fighters planned to launch an operation called Bader “to avenge the killing of Osama” and claimed many other similar operations would be launched.” Read more.

Marine Bio/Chem Warfare Unit Recalled to the U.S. as Intel Warns of Possible Revenge Attacks– By SARA JUST and RUSSELL GOLDMAN – “U.S. intelligence and law enforcement authorities warned today that al Qaeda may try to strike back at the U.S. for the death of Osama bin Laden and in a sign of the urgency, an elite unit of Marines who handle chemical and biological weapons attacks was recalled today from Japan.

The death of the world’s most wanted terrorist has security experts at all levels of government concerned that bin Laden’s loyal and fanatical followers could launch a series of deadly attacks.

‘Though bin Laden is dead, al-Qaeda is not,’ said CIA Director Leon Panetta. ‘The terrorists almost certainly will attempt to avenge him, and we must—and will—remain vigilant and resolute. But we have struck a heavy blow against the enemy.’

Former chief of staff to President George W. Bush, Andrew Card, told ABC News that reprisal attacks could already be planned.”  Read more.

WikiLeaks: al Qaeda Threatens ‘Nuclear Hellstorm’ if Bin Laden Captured or Killed

“The mastermind of the 9/11 attacks warned that al-Qaeda has hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe which will unleash a ‘nuclear hellstorm’ if Osama bin Laden is captured, leaked files revealed.

The terror group also planned to make a 9/11 style attack on London’s Heathrow airport by crashing a hijacked airliner into one of the terminals, the files showed.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed told Guantanamo Bay interrogators the terror group would detonate the nuclear device if the al-Qaeda chief was captured or killed, according to the classified files released by the WikiLeaks website.

Sheikh Mohammed, the self-professed mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, has been held at Guantanamo since 2006 and is to be tried in a military court at the US naval base on Cuba over the attacks.”  Read more.

Dead Penguins Washing Up On New Zealand’s East Coast

“The Department of Conservation is staying tight-lipped over the deaths of a group of penguins on the East Coast.

At least 14 have been found washed up along Waihau Bay.

Anti-oil protesters claim seismic testing in the Raukumara Basin is to blame.

Washington Times Reporter: Obama’s Birth Certificate a Forgery, This May Be ‘Much Larger Than Watergate’

Alfred Lambremont Webre (ALW) interviews Robert Stanley (RS), weekly correspondent for the Washington Times investigative radio. Here is an excerpt I’ve put together from the interview.

ALW: “Has there been any response so far from the White House?”

RS: “… Actually there was. The document, when first posted on Wednesday, was different from the document that they posted on Thursday using the same link. The difference was that the resolution of the … second version was actually much lower resolution. And then, that night, somebody must have alerted them that there was a problem with the document and they, they broke the link, they took it down off of the White House website. I was alerted by people in the media in my circle who said, ‘Wow, what happened to the link?’…

Let’s go back to what we were talking about earlier. The National Review Online has tried to say that … the reason there’s layers in this document is because it’s an artifact of scanning through OCR, which is Optical Character Recognition. It’s a program I’ve used for many years and I’ve never seen this, this what they’re claiming to be, you know, an ‘artifact’. … The other reason I find that completely false is that you only use OCR if you want to edit a document like this. You would never do something like that for, you know, scanning an official document. It would just be a JPEG file…”

ALW: “Have the hospital officials, or any of the officials from the State of Hawaii Birth Certificate Registry said anything about the obvious forensic fraud in this document?”

RS: “Not that I know of. I got up very early this morning to help break the story. It really only surfaced yesterday, Thursday morning… People are still getting the news on this… I would be very surprised if there isn’t some sort of congressional investigation, the FBI should be involved. The media is going to have to play catch-up on this. And the other problem is the mainstream media, basically, has an agenda here, politically. They don’t want to see Barak Obama smeared like this, so typically I think they’re going to be hesitant. I think they’re going to try to dismiss it as nonsense initially, but within a week — the following weeks ahead — there’s just no way that this story is going to die and people are going to be able to sweep it under the rug…”

ALW:  “Do you think we have another potential Richard Nixon here?”

RS:  “Yeah, that’s the analogy I thought of and we discussed [this] earlier today on Washington Times Radio.  However, I would say that if all this is accurate the way I’m reporting it, if this is true, I would say this is much larger than Watergate in its scope…

Opinion Maker: World Intelligence Agencies Call Obama’s ‘Birth Certificate’ a Blatant Forgery

Even if this is true I am sure that we’ll not be hearing any official statements from foreign intelligence agencies any time soon with respect to the veracity of Obama’s recent ‘Certificate of Live Birth’ release.  It wouldn’t be politically expedient.  Regardless, it seems to me that this release is having the opposite effect than the pro-Obama naysayers envisioned:  instead of dousing the flame of the ‘Birther’ movement and the upcoming release of Jerome  R. Corsi’s book (the Trump machine notwithstanding), this release has done nothing but add fuel to the fire.

On one hand, Obama supporters will proclaim this document as real and absolute proof that he was born in the US.  On the other hand, ‘Birthers’ will see this as proof that Obama continues to lie and conceal facts surrounding the true nature of his status.  And some of those in between who were not ‘Birthers’ before this past week are forced to raise an eyebrow or two, seeing good reason to give credence to the movement now more than ever before…

By Wayne Madsen – “From intelligence agencies around the world, the verdict on President Obama’s newly-released certificate of live birth from Hawaii is in: the certificate is a rank forgery on the same level as the Niger ‘yellow cake’ uranium and Iraq Oil Ministry forged documents. Intelligence and law enforcement services are experts on fake documents since they have to deal with large numbers of counterfeit documents, such as birth certificates, passports, identity cards and driver’s licenses, as well as currency. Intelligence agencies are also experts at forging their own documents for their clandestine agents.

Within 24-hours of the release of the long form Certificate of Live Birth on April 27, intelligence agencies from Britain and China to Germany and Russia examined the document and concluded it was a forgery based on the fact that Barack H. Obama Sr.’s race, listed as ‘African,’ was a monumental error, considering that not only the United States, but other English-speaking nations described Africans and those of African descent as either ‘Negroes’ or ‘blacks’ in 1961.”  Read more.
